Trump was born and raised in Queens, a borough of New York City, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan. The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He bought the Miss Universe brand of beauty pageants in 1996, and sold it in 2015. He produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television series, from 2003 to 2015. As of 2020, Forbes estimated his net worth to be $2.1 billion.[a]
Trump's political positions have been described as populist, protectionist, and nationalist. He entered the 2016 presidential race as a Republican and was elected in a surprise victory over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, although he lost the popular vote.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump#cite_note-electoral-college-2 He became the oldest first-term U.S. president,[c] and the first without prior military or government service. His election and policies have sparked numerous protests. Trump has made many false or misleading statements during his campaign and presidency. The statements have been documented by fact-checkers, and the media have widely described the phenomenon as unprecedented in American politics. Many of his comments and actions have been characterized as racially charged or racist.
During his presidency, Trump ordered a travel ban on citizens from several Muslim-majority countries, citing security concerns; after legal challenges, the Supreme Court upheld the policy's third revision. He enacted a tax-cut package for individuals and businesses, rescinding the individual health insurance mandate penalty. He appointed Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. In foreign policy, Trump has pursued an America First agenda, withdrawing the U.S. from the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade negotiations, the Paris Agreement on climate change, and the Iran nuclear deal. He imposed import tariffs which triggered a trade war with China, recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and withdrew U.S. troops from northern Syria. Trump met thrice with North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un, but talks on denuclearization broke down in 2019. Trump began running for a second term shortly after becoming president.
A special counsel investigation led by Robert Mueller found that Trump and his campaign welcomed and encouraged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election under the belief that it would be politically advantageous, but did not find sufficient evidence to press charges of criminal conspiracy or coordination with Russia.[d] Mueller also investigated Trump for obstruction of justice, and his reportneither indicted nor exonerated Trump on that offense. After Trump solicited the investigation of a political rival by Ukraine, the House of Representatives impeached him in December 2019 for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The Senate acquitted him of both charges in February 2020.

Early life

Trump was born on June 14, 1946, at Jamaica Hospital in the borough of Queens, New York City.[1] His father was Frederick Christ Trump, a Bronx-born real estate developer whose parents were German immigrants. His mother was Scottish-born housewife Mary Anne MacLeod Trump. Trump grew up in the Jamaica Estates neighborhood of Queens and attended the Kew-Forest School from kindergarten through seventh grade.[2][3] At age 13, he was enrolled in the New York Military Academy, a private boarding school.[4] In 1964, he enrolled at Fordham University. Two years later he transferred to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.[5] While at Wharton, he worked at the family business, Elizabeth Trump & Son.[6] He graduated in May 1968 with a B.S. in economics.[5][7] Profiles of Trump published in The New York Times in 1973 and 1976 erroneously reported that he had graduated first in his class at Wharton, but he had never made the school's honor roll.[8] In 2015, Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen threatened Fordham University and the New York Military Academy with legal action if they released Trump's academic records.[9]
Military deferment
While in college, Trump obtained four student draft deferments.[10] In 1966, he was deemed fit for military service based upon a medical examination, and in July 1968 a local draft board classified him as eligible to serve.[11] In October 1968, he was medically deferred and classified 1-Y (unqualified for duty except in the case of a national emergency).[12] In 1972, he was reclassified 4-F due to bone spurs, which permanently disqualified him from service.[13][14] Trump said in 2015 the deferment was for a bone spur in his foot, though he could not remember which foot had been afflicted.[12]

Parents and siblings
Fred Trump started working in real estate with his mother Elizabeth when he was 15, after his father Friedrich had died in the 1918 flu pandemic.[15] Their company, "E. Trump & Son", founded in 1923,[16] was active in the New York boroughs of Queens and Brooklyn, building and selling thousands of houses, barracks, and apartments.[17] Fred claimed to be Swedish amid the anti-German sentiment sparked by World War II;[18] Donald Trump also claimed Swedish heritage until 1990.[19] Trump's mother Mary Anne MacLeod was born in Scotland.[20] Fred and Mary were married in 1936 and raised their family in Queens.[21] Trump grew up with three elder siblings – Maryanne, Fred Jr., and Elizabeth – and younger brother Robert.[22]
Wives and children
In 1977, Trump married Czech model Ivana Zelníčková.[23] They have three children, Donald Jr. (born 1977), Ivanka (born 1981), and Eric (born 1984), and ten grandchildren.[24] Ivana became a naturalized United States citizen in 1988.[25] The couple divorced in 1992, following Trump's affair with actress Marla Maples.[26] Maples and Trump married in 1993[27] and had one daughter, Tiffany (born 1993).[28] They were divorced in 1999,[29] and Tiffany was raised by Marla in California.[30] In 2005, Trump married Slovenian model Melania Knauss.[31] They have one son, Barron (born 2006).[32] Melania gained U.S. citizenship in 2006.[33]
Religion
Trump identifies as Presbyterian. He went to Sunday school and was confirmed in 1959 at the First Presbyterian Church in Jamaica, Queens.[34][35] In the 1970s, his parents joined the Marble Collegiate Church in Manhattan, which belongs to the Reformed Church.[34][36] The pastor at Marble, Norman Vincent Peale,[34] ministered to Trump's family until Peale's death in 1993.[36] Trump has described Peale as a mentor.[37] In 2015, after Trump said he attends Marble, the church publicly stated he "is not an active member" of the church.[35]
While campaigning, Trump said, "Nothing beats the Bible."[38] In November 2019, Trump appointed his personal pastor, televangelist Paula White, to the White House Office of Public Liaison.[39]

Right-wing populism does exist, and it was essentially the entirety of Trump's 2016 campaign. He did appeal to ordinary people to form a movement, much like Bernie Sanders ironically. This is especially tangible, in my opinion, with the fact that he is very much a political outcast. There are certainly pros and cons to that fact, but that is reality and that is why many Americans voted for him over Clinton in 2016. Clinton represented the deep state, and many people were not comfortable with that fact. She has been blatantly dishonest and disingenuous during her campaign and even in her role as Secretary of State (and frankly her entire life in politics). I believe people were turned off by the email scandal, her attitude towards the Monica Lewinsky scandal among numerous other examples of blatant corruption throughout her career.

To say this exists, however, is not fascism once so ever. There's some major ideological fallacy when drawing parallels to the two. Whether you'd like to believe it or not, while Trump has been a big-government conservative compared to other Republican presidents, he has by no means centralized it to the extremes that fascism did in early-mid 1900s Europe. He has not forcibly suppressed opposition either--if anything, I would argue given the Durham probe currently in progress and the recent major holes found within both the Ukrainian and Russian collusion narratives, there has been a deliberate attempt to suppress Trump instead. If I was to take that literal, I would say Trump has given he was the one that brought populism to the Republican party through his campaign, because by no means were Republicans populist, at least as of the 21st century. I'm equally lost by the next part of the question, "what's the best 'good faith' version of it," not to say that I love populism (the opposite is true to be frank), but ideally I would want the president to watch what the hell he says on twitter and when he isn't on teleprompter lmao. Because his brashness hurts him hard, especially with suburban voters. The last question you pose is a little clearer that I think I can give an answer to. I believe both the right and the left agree on the base line of equality of opportunity. We agree that every American deserves the same opportunities available as anyone else, regardless of skin color, SES, gender (again, whether you'd like to believe that or not, but as someone on the right I have seen Republicans stand strongly for that). For instance: access to a strong education, the ability to (no matter where you come from financially) to make something of yourself by working hard within the economy through a free and competitive market, and a complete acknowledgement of constitutional rights for the government to adhere to (so i.e. standing against slavery, the key issue the Republican party's inception was upon, and widely supporting the civil rights act of 1964 against those who ignored the notion that "all men are created equal"). Where the left and "populist" right generally diverge is when it comes to outcome. From a right prospective, that is impossible to achieve without significant bulldozing of certain liberties and without significant control from a centralized government, which in my opinion is absolutely dangerous. When this has been attempted in other nations throughout history, it has left them in shambles and most citizens in poverty. I would refer to communist Russia, China, Venezuela, Cuba, among others. That is why I firmly believe in the process of Capitalism, because it has statistically proven to have lifted the most people out of poverty and has given the most equal opportunity for social mobility.

How's this for hyping the VN
I genuinely believe that Fate/Stay Night is the greatest work of literature yet written. It's certainly one of the most detailed and longest by word count, and no, most of that is not bloat (give me any paragraph and I'll explain why it is needed, for the most part). If I had it my way, it would be material in college courses. Now, I've started reading more literature this year just to prove myself wrong. Because there's a lot out there I haven't read and if I end up liking something even more, that'd be awesome. And I've read some really great things as a result. Things that stayed with me and that I dwelled upon well after the simple act of enjoying the read was over. You can see them in my sig.
That's the power of good literature, well, it's the power of any really smart art in any medium, but after a century really obsessed with quick thrills and sheer entertainment, there's really no more reliable way to get that specific fix than with good classic lit. And it's not for the details or the world building at all. Ray Bradbury listed three criteria in Fahrenheit 451 for fulfilling art, that is to say art that benefits you and uplifts you in the long term as opposed to entertainment which just fills the time you enjoy it for (and I'm not trying to shit on entertainment, but we have a lot of it available to us so it's not really an important thing to find and celebrate). Meaning; an artistic intention to get some sort of point or message across (what does heroism mean in the modern world). Leisure; the pacing and personal time to reflect upon the messages of the story (those "SoL" aspects of FSN give that pacing, allow the characters to grow and breathe, and are also reflections of the kinds of epics that FSN routinely draws influence from such as The Odyssey. Food and hospitality are just as important in those epics). Relatability; a grounding force that allows us to use the story's message in our own lives (for instance, we can't be superheroes, but the juxtaposition of the heroic question and major themes learning to treat women with respect is not coincidence).
FSN was yes, structured as a three-act story and any adaptation that is less going to come across as less. Less meaningful, less serious. People who never read the VN love F/Z and say it's more serious due to "adults"? No, they just want to watch entertainment where cool guys do cool guy stuff. And F/Z is kind of smart as well, so all in all it's a great show. But if they don't want to experience something where more broken characters struggle and finds ways to live with problems that might actually affect the reader's lives for the better, well, not everyone likes the same stuff. But it's their loss, and it's a pretty big one.
I read FSN almost 7 years ago and I still learn new things about it that I love. Part of that is because I've actually been retranslating it. The amount of research, detail, and work that has gone into this project of mine has even further shown me new things to love and appreciate, and given me somehow an even deeper connection with the book. There's nothing I've done in my life that I've felt better about.
Obv this is all opinion. My favorite book doesn't have to be anyone else's. Individuality is nice like that. But I want it to be understood why I like it, and why as is there is no way I could recommend either show, though one is amazing and the other is decent, to someone who hasn't read the VN. Incidentally, JALMONT shoots at Team Haley from uh something, I'd be willing to share my adaptation so far. It's a far better translation than the existing one and flows much nicer, but it's not nearly finished and with my current job I'm only writing about 1,000 words a day at best.

Perhaps you have wondered how predictable machines like computers can generate randomness. In reality, most random numbers used in computer programs are pseudo-random, which means they are generated in a predictable fashion using a mathematical formula. This is fine for many purposes, but it may not be random in the way you expect if you're used to dice rolls and lottery drawings.
RANDOM.ORG offers true random numbers to anyone on the Internet. The randomness comes from atmospheric noise, which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs. People use RANDOM.ORG for holding drawings, lotteries and sweepstakes, to drive online games, for scientific applications and for art and music. The service has existed since 1998 and was built by Dr Mads Haahr of the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College, Dublin in Ireland. Today, RANDOM.ORG is operated by Randomness and Integrity Services Ltd.

Greninja has an incredible base 122 Speed, which makes it capable of outspeeding nearly every viable Pokemon in the VGC metagame. Protean is one of the best abilities in the game as well, giving Greninja STAB on all of its attacks. On top of that, Greninja has a diverse movepool which allows it to hit most threats for super effective damage. However, Greninja is very frail, which means many things can OHKO it; it also loses easily to priority. While Greninja is definitely a fun Pokemon to use, it should fill an important role if it is used.

Hydro Pump also nets several additional KOs when paired with Mega Kangaskhan's Fake Out including Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y with a very small chance to KO uninvested Mega Kangaskhan. Ice Beam hits Venusaur and Amoonguss super effectively, and it is Greninja's strongest option on this set for Ferrothorn. Energy shoots at Tribe Jessica from Love is BIind Rock Slide OHKOs both Mega Charizard Y and Talonflame, while Dark Pulse hits Aegislash and Reuniclus extremely hard. Protect is necessary so Greninja's partner can KO a threat without Greninja being harmed. It is not worth replacing Protect with an additional coverage move because Greninja would become too exposed.

The EVs maximize Greninja's damage output and Speed. A Timid nature allows Greninja to outspeed almost every viable VGC Pokemon without a Choice Scarf. Life Orb is nice for power, but Focus Sash is usable for longevity. However, Focus Sash is almost always outclassed by Life Orb because of Tyranitar's popularity and its ability, Sand Stream.
Usage Tips

One needs to make sure that Greninja is not targeted by enemy attacks that will likely KO it. Greninja has great utility as a lead because it can scout for Choice Scarf users, though it generally needs to Protect turn one to protect itself against Mega Kangaskhan's Fake Out. In addition, Protecting helps to find specific Choice Scarf Pokemon such as Hydreigon and Salamence, which will help the Greninja player throughout the duration of the game. Greninja can also be used regularly if opposing Choice Scarf Pokemon have been eliminated.

Mega Kangaskhan, Mega Mawile, or Choice Band Talonflame are all great partners, as they can protect Greninja from getting KOed by slower Pokemon, as well as provide offensive pressure. Mega Kangaskhan is an especially good partner because it can Fake Out opposing Choice Scarf users that would otherwise outspeed Greninja. Greninja can also be used in hail teams by replacing Ice Beam with Blizzard, which has more power and perfect accuracy in hail, and Greninja can KO Pokemon that resist Blizzard, such as Aegislash, with Dark Pulse.
