[SET COMMENTS]

SubSeed Calyrex-S trades in the immediate power behind other offensive sets for a slower-paced wallbreaking set. Calyrex-S is able to very easily sweep unprepared teams with this set, but its lack of coverage and slow pace make it a higher-risk set than most due to its high vulnerability to certain threats such as Yveltal with Snarl and Tyranitar. Its main goal is to use the combination of Substitute + Leech Seed to force normal checks such as Yveltal to use healing moves, in which case it can either use Taunt to prevent them from recovering and continue chipping them down with Astral Barrage or set up with Nasty Plot to aim for a sweep from behind the Substitute. Astral Barrage should only be used against weakened foes or after boosting with Nasty Plot multiple times to conserve Astral Barrage's low PP, and Nasty Plot allows it to break through walls like Eternatus and Ho-Oh after they've been chipped. Leftovers helps to get as much HP back in combination with Leech Seed as possible so it can put up the highest number of Substitutes, and with 52 Defense EVs, its Substitute always survives an uninvested U-turn from Yveltal. Maximum Speed investment ensures that Calyrex-S can outrun Pokemon like Zacian-C naturally.

Calyrex-S's natural offensive presence with just Astral Barrage is enough to support a lot of common Pokemon, and if it is successfully able to beat certain checks like Yveltal, it can easily sweep through teams or be very beneficial to its teammates weak to those checks. Zacian-C dislikes cores of Necrozma-DM, Zygarde-C, Lunala, and other physically defensive walls that can chip it down, which Calyrex-S can use to set up fairly well and break through them. Zacian-C also provides a good way of breaking Yveltal, Blissey, and a weakened Ho-Oh, which Calyrex-S greatly appreciates, especially if the opposing Yveltal has coverage to break this set. Many other physical wallbreakers like Swords Dance Groudon and Marshadow can bait in Yveltal wanting to hit them with Foul Play and use their Dynamax to break through Yveltal and other checks, opening up Calyrex-S a lot offensively for a sweep. Calyrex-S can potentially do the same for those Pokemon against Yveltal without ways to break past this set. Yveltal is also a near-required teammate given that this set is fairly susceptible to Ditto if not behind a Substitute, and Yveltal can also provide hazard control and has U-turn to get Calyrex-S in safely.

Other Options
=============

Calyrex-S has no other viable options.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Dark-types**: While SubSeed Calyrex-S is built to take on some Yveltal sets, the threat of certain coverage moves is still great. Snarl OHKOes Calyrex-S through Substitute, rendering this set almost useless against Yveltal carrying it. Tyranitar normally carries Rock Blast or Roar, letting it simultaneously break Substitutes and deal damage or phaze Calyrex-S while it tries to set up.

**Normal-types**: With Astral Barrage as the only attack on the SubSeed set Normal-types are almost guaranteed to wall the set completely. With Taunt and Leech Seed damage, it can potentially wear down Blissey, Chansey, and Porygon2, but this is a very slow process and doesn't allow Calyrex-S to run Nasty Plot, leaving it weaker against other walls like Ho-Oh paired with Normal-types.

**Revenge Killers**: SubSeed Calyrex-S can block revenge killing attempts behind a Substitute, but faster Pokemon like Pheromosa, Choice Scarf Calyrex-S, and Shadow Sneak Marshadow still pressure it.

**Ho-Oh**: Ho-Oh's phazing ability and bulk to take even boosted hits lets it be a sturdy check to SubSeed Calyrex-S.

It only runs Astral Barrage as the attacking coverage typically, almost only attacking Pokemon that are heavily weakened from Taunt and Leech Seed or after it has boosted its special attack with Nasty Plot multiple times for a sweep with As One boosts after every KO. [this is one big sentence, and should probably be broken up a bit] Calyrex-S is able to very easily sweep unprepared teams with this set, but its lack of attacking coverage and slow pace makes it a higher risk set than most due to its high vulnerability to certain threats. [such as?] It holds Leftovers to get as much HP back in combination with Leech Seed as possible so it can put up the highest number of substitutes, and runs a standard max Speed max Special Attack ev spread to outrun most of the unboosted metagame to use Substitute before opponents' attacks use fast Leech Seeds and hit while hitting as hard as possible with Astral Barrage.

Calyrex-S' natural offensive presence with just Astral Barrage is enough to support a lot of common Pokemon, and if it is successfully able to beat certain checks like Yveltal, (AC) due to them having a set weak to this one it can be a great help to teammates. [is this really true though? If it breaks through yveltal, the odds are it'll just sweep in its own right] Zacian-C dislikes cores of Necrozma-DM, Zygarde-C, Lunala, and other physically defensive walls that can chip it down, while Calyrex-S can break through those and use them to set up fairly well. Zacian-C also provides a good way of breaking Yveltal, Blissey, and a weakened Ho-oh, which something Calyrex-S greatly appreciates, (AC) especially if the opposing Yveltal has coverage to break this set. Calyrex-S can potentially trade in either Nasty Plot or Taunt for coverage in Psyshock, however this only gives slightly more attacking PP and mildly improves the matchup against Blissey and Chansey while having less utility than the other options in most other scenarios, so it is not heavily recommended as such. [mention that it makes it utterly incapable of sweeping against anything with any sort of secondary check]

**Dark-types**: While this set is built to take on some Yveltal sets, the threat of certain coverage moves is still great. Snarl hits through Substitute and OHKO's, rendering this set almost useless against Yveltal carrying it. U-turn also has a chance to break the Substitute, letting Yveltal take a hit and pivot into a faster revenge killer while getting out of the situation in a good position. Tyranitar normally carries Rock Blast or Roar, letting it break substitutes and deal damage with the multi hits or phaze Calyrex-S out while it tries to set up.

**Normal-types**: With the only attacking move this set typically carries being Astral Barrage, naturally Normal-types are almost guaranteed to wall the set completely. With Taunt and Leech Seed damage it can potentially wear down Blissey and Chansey, but this is a very slow process and it doesn't allow for Calyrex-S to run Nasty Plot, leaving it weaker against other walls like Ho-oh paired with a Normal-type. Very good work, but make sure you double check that everything that should be capitalized is capitalized properly.

(this doesn't really fit here, would move it before you explain Astral Barrage) It holds Leftovers to get as much HP back in combination with Leech Seed as possible so it can put up the highest number of substitutes, and with 52 Defense EVs its Substitute always lives an uninvested U-turn from Yveltal while it maintains its Speed to be as fast as possible, outrunning Pokemon like Zacian-C naturally with maximum investment.

Calyrex-S can potentially trade in either Nasty Plot or Taunt for coverage in Psyshock, however this only gives slightly more attacking PP and mildly improves the matchup against Blissey and Chansey (also hits Eternatus harder than Astral Barrage) while having less utility than the other options in most other scenarios. It leaves Calyrex-S unable to threaten any kind of sweep if facing multiple pivots as well, so it is not heavily recommended as such.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Dark-types**: While this set is built to take on some Yveltal sets, the threat of certain coverage moves is still great. Snarl hits through Substitute and OHKO's, rendering this set almost useless against Yveltal carrying it. U-turn also has a chance to break the Substitute (reword this part, as the set has been changed so that U-turn can't break a Substitute at full health), letting Yveltal take a hit and pivot into a faster revenge killer while getting out of the situation in a good position. Tyranitar normally carries Rock Blast or Roar, letting it break substitutes and deal damage with the multi hits or phaze Calyrex-S out while it tries to set up.

**Revenge Killers**: (mention that revenge killers such as Choice Scarf Calyrex-S, Choice Scarf Kyogre, and Choice Scarf Zacian can threaten SubSeed Calyrex-S. You could also mention that Marshadow can revenge kill it with Shadow Sneak. However, mention that Substitute can block these revenge killing attempts and Calyrex-S can do a good amount of damage to them in return)
