SubRoost Zapdos is a very solid wincondition in the National Dex metagame. It is capable of PP stalling Clefable and specially defensive non-Taunt Heatran among many other more passive walls such as Toxapex. Beyond that, it is incredibly good at punishing the defensive Ground-types in the metagame, notably Landorus-T and Gliscor.
