We'd prefer items and no stage bans, but if we have to, we'll play without items and certain stages.
It'll be my first "With Friends" brawl. Is it anywhere near as laggy as random wi-fi?

Eh, it depends. If you're fighting someone in Australia it shouldn't be bad at all. If you're fighting someone overseas chances are it will be pretty laggy.
I'm asking again, since there's more people on now than when I last asked.
Also, it'd probably be kinda cool if we fought someone who could record our fight.
