Pokemon: Shedinja
Mod of Origin: Boatmod
Stats: 1 / 100 / 45 / 100 / 30 / 40
Type: Bug / Ghost
Abilities: Wonder Guard* (is now Wonder Guard + Magic Guard)
Movepool: Swords Dance, Will-o-Wisp, X-Scissor, Shadow Sneak, Poltergeist, Hex, Bug Buzz, Giga Drain?
Description: yeah yeah its sorta just shedinja, but its shedinja that cant get weather'd or statused, or even hazard'd, but at the cost of losing all that to Neutralizing Gas. yeah it has to worry about less now but alot of mons still have coverage for it and its super slow. walls some things though. so i'd say its decently worth it.

:ss/heatmor:
Pokemon: Blizheat
Mod of Origin: Boatmod
Stats: 85 / 115 / 90 / 75 / 90 / 95
Type: Ice / Fire
Abilities: Tough Claws / Gluttony / Triage
Movepool: Heatmor's Movepool + Earthquake, Frozen Leech* (Physical ice giga drain clone), Heat Claws* (Physical fire giga drain clone, 10% chance to freeze)
Description: yet another very sick pick from my solomod. has all the cool things it can do, like VERY strong priority but also really strong regular moves, like tough claws fire lash.

Pokémon: Shoto Todoroki
Mod of Origin: Crossover Chaos EX
Type:

Stats: 90 / 65 / 75 / 130 / 80 / 100 | BST: 540
Abilities: Ice Body | HA: Flame Body
Movepool: All Special non signature Ice type moves, Ice Punch, Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Hail, Icicle Sprear, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Heat Wave, Flame Burst, Incinerate, Fire Punch, Will O Wisp, Sunny Day, Scald, Overheat, Superpower

A strong offensive Wallbreaker, Todoroki has unresisted coverage between Ice Beam / Fire Blast / Scald / Freeze Fry, allowing it to always pack a punch versus the opposing team. 130 SpA is pretty big, which makes punching holes a lot easier. Unfortunately, alot of viable top tier picks exist that outspeed and can quickly OHKO Shoto thanks to its partly bulk and horrid defensive typing. Not to mention without access to any boosting moves nor items thanks to its reliance on HDB, it's matchup versus Stall teams can leave you a bit underwhelming. Shoto, however, is still a top tier pick!

:Tyranitar::swalot:
Pokémon: Gargogunk
Mod of Origin: Stereotypes
Stats: 101 HP / 123 Atk / 80 Def / 88 SpA / 130 SpD / 78 Spe [BST: 600]
Typing:

Abilities: Mold Breaker / Aftermath | HA: Sand Stream
Moves:
Darkest Lariat, Poison Jab, Gunk Shot, Stone Edge, U-turn, Head Smash, Rock Slide, Power Whip, Power Trip, Explosion, Elemental Fangs, Dual Wingbeat
Meteor Beam, Power Gem, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Surf, Psychic, Dark Pulse, Fire Blast
Trick, Taunt, Stealth Rock, Coil, Corrosive Gas, Toxic, Toxic Spikes, Acid Armor, Amnesia, Glare, Rock Polish
+ All Universal Moves

Gargogunk is a defensive behemoth, having MASSIVE SpD thanks to Sand Stream, but it has to contend with a poor defensive typing and a lack of any reliable recovery. Multiple utility options like Glare, U-turn, Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock is cool as well. It can't do anything of note to Steel types, and alot of good ones are here so it may not have the raw success it has in its home mod. Its still a great option.

Stats: 100/75/75/130/90/100 (570 BST)
Weight: 122.3 kg
Relevant Moves:
Special: Ancient Power, Blizzard, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Freeze-Dry, Ice Beam, Lava Plume, Shadow Ball
Status: Pain Split, Substitute, Will-o-wisp
Flavor Moves:
Physical: Astonish, Avalanche, Facade, Fire Punch, Heat Crash, Ice Punch, Ice Shard, Icicle Spear, Rock Slide, Rock Throw, Seismic Toss, Shadow Punch, Storm Throw
Special: Air Cutter, Aurora Beam, Confusion, Ember, Hyper Voice, Icy Wind, Mystical Fire
Status: Confide, Confuse Ray, Detect, Disable, Eerie Impulse, Endure, Hail, Harden, Mist, Protect, Rest, Roar, Sleep Talk, Snore

Description: Thermasorb is a fairly simple special attacker, getting around lackluster coverage on the power of its STAB combo, including Freeze-Dry for Waters. In terms of coverage, its only serious coverage is Shadow Ball and Ancient Power, an interesting coverage option given its normally meh power. It does have some utility options, namely Pain Split to keep itself healthy and Will-o-wisp to shore up its mediocre physical bulk.

:ss/Shedinja:
Name: Pharaoach
Mod of Origin: Stereotypes
Type:

Ability: Cursed Body / Sand Force / Regenerator
Stats: 120 / 140 / 40 / 100 / 90 / 80
Moves
Physical:
Earthquake, First Impression, Knock Off, Leech Life, Megahorn, Rock Slide, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak, Stone Edge
Special: Bug Buzz, Flamethrower, Scorching Sands, Shadow Ball
Status: Stealth Rock, Swords Dance, Toxic
+AUM
Description: very cool how none of our bugs run hdb, so ima keep it that way. With Regenerator, this Pokemon is free to run Choice Band, letting it effectively revenge kill and wallbreak with First Impression and its large coverage. However, while Ghost is usually a strong STAB option, it has to use Shadow Claw and doesn't have any strong coverage options (Fighting, Fairy) to support it.

Pokémon: Altellow
Mod of Origin: Fusion Evolution v6
Stats: 77/87/85/82/87/112 (530 BST)
Type:

Ability: Puffy Cloud - Negates the effects of weather. If a weather is active, then the user deals 1.5* damage with physical attacks.
Notable moves: Outrage, Dragon Claw, Double-Edge, Return, Frustration, Quick Attack, Earthquake, U-turn, Pursuit, Dragon Dance, Roost, Defog, Rain Dance, Sunny Day (has Altaria moves + Swellow moves)
Note: Mega is illegal due to being Dragon/Fairy.
Overview: We have weather setters in Rock Silvally and Mega Peasmaker, so how about a one-size-fits-all ally or possible check for that sort of thing?

D98B1CEA-CD1E-4CC8-BC3A-D892F9870C83.png

Pokemon: Gallade-Kalos
Mod of Origin: Regional Variants
Type: Fairy/Steel
Abilities: Sturdy/Overcoat
Stats: 68/125/105/65/75/80 (Total: 518)
Moves: Gallade's NatDex Movepool + Aura Sphere, Flail, Volt Switch, Mat Block, Play Rough, Meditate, Smart Strike, Iron Head, Iron Defense, Metal Sound, Sacred Sword - Destiny Bond, Close Combat, Focus Punch, Low Kick, Quick Guard, Rock Smash, Draining Kiss, and Psychic type moves (excluding Psycho Cut, Rest, Calm Mind, and Heal Pulse)
Overview: Kalosian Gallade is a tough customer, relying on its strong defensive typing to set up a Swords Dance and break things. Between Play Rough, Iron Head, and EQ coverage, you hit a good chunk of mons for big damage when set up. You can also in theory run Choice Scarf or Band with Volt Switch as a pivoting option. Your middling speed for a sweeper and lack of recovery are its biggest weaknesses, but with a solid defensive typing, it will likely be able to do some solid damage before going down.

8768C72F-5C5B-4F93-A438-C940BD4D276E.png

Form: Gallade-Kalos-Mega
Type: Fairy/Steel
Ability: Pixilate
Stats: 68/165/125/65/95/100 (Total: 618)
Overview: With the power of Mega Evolution, Kalosian Gallade becomes a greater threat to the opposition. You end up a bit less powerful but much faster and slightly bulkier version of Mega Mawile, with a still powerful Return to take enemies down a peg. In certain situations, you can even rely on Sturdy in base form to set up a Swords Dance to go Mega to following turn to begin your sweep perhaps even including Flail for massive Fairy damage. This might be worthy of a ban, in all honestly.

95AE6620-950A-45E6-A712-30667A395183.png

Pokemon: Yoshi
Mod of Origin: Crossover Chaos
Type: Dragon/Normal
Abilities: Stamina/Gluttony/Wimp Out
Stats: 100/120/85/100/80/110
Moveset: Dragon Pulse, Dragon Hammer, Dragon Rush, Dragon Tail, Egg Bomb, Barrage, Softboiled, Bullet Seed, Seed Bomb, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Frost Breath, Headbutt, Iron Head, Iron Tail, Beat Up, Bulldoze, Lick, Stockpile, Spit Up, Swallow, Bulldoze, Earthquake, Stomp, Baby-Doll Eyes, Thief, Fling, Rollout, Withdraw, Iron Defense, Fly, Dual Wingbeat, all universal TMs Gen 1 onward
Overview: Yoshi is one tough cookie. He packs the power of Dragapult, but trades raw speed for rather solid bulk, between Stamina and a slightly better defensive typing. Additionally, your coverage is different, packing EQ and Iron Head. Choice Band is a set you can run with Dragon Hammer, Return, EQ, and Iron Head, or you can run mixed with Softboiled to keep yourself alive to break foes longer with your unique coverage options.

Pokémon: Headrake
Mod of Origin: Blindsided
Stats: 80 / 90 / 100 / 60 / 100 / 80
Type: Normal / Dragon (or dragon/normal, but dos it really even matter?)

Abilities: Adaptability / Reckless / Rock Head (HA)
Notable moves: Head Charge, Head Rush* (110 bp, normal, physical, 95 accuracy, 16 pp, confuses user and target), Dragon Dance, Explosion, Earthquake, Dragon Claw, U-Turn, Return, Explosion, Swords Dance, Iron Head

Overview: its uhhh, adapt sd explosion mon (: also has ddance, so sweeper sets are nice.

Pokémon: Ultranaut
Mod of Origin: Pupumons
Stats: 70 / 115 / 80 / 80 / 85 / 78
Type: Steel / Fairy
Abilities: Lighting Rod / Klutz / Magnet Pull (HA)
Movepool: Body Press, Dazzling Gleam, Earthquake, Explosion, Flash Cannon, Frustration, Heavy Slam, Iron Defense, Iron Head, Knock Off, Laser Sword, Moonblast, Overheat, Play Rough, Protect, Return, Sharp Scrape, Spirit Break, Steel Beam, Steel Roller, Substitute, Switcheroo, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Toxic, Tri Attack, Trick Room, Volt Switch, Wild Charge, Magnet Rise, Metal Sound, Mirror Coat, Rising Voltage, Safeguard, Stomping Tantrum, Wide Guard
Overview: Trick Room setter and abuser (too lazy to finish it will do later)
1640096864291.png

Pokémon: Ultranaut-V
Mod of Origin: Pupumons
Stats: 80 / 155 / 85 / 105 / 75 / 108
Type: Steel / Fairy
Abilities: Fuel Heavy (-1 Speed at the end of each turn)
Movepool: Ultranaut's movepool + Autotomize, Sacred Sword, Swords Dance
Overview: Awesome TR abuser, though I feel weary about it due to its massive 155 Atk stat + SD and its ability in Fuel Heavy. Maybe held back by being forced to use a move and having an item that turns it into its form, but im not sure.

:ss/dunsparce:
Pokémon: Lyndrake
Mod of Origin: Braviary New World
Stats: 120 / 130 / 90 / 60 / 75 / 75
Type: Normal / Dragon
Abilities: Sand Force / Intimidate / Marvel Scale (HA)
Movepool: Dunsparce's + Bug Bite, Bug Buzz, Infestation, Struggle Bug (If you want all of the buffs/nerfs to the abilities and moves go to the BNW spreadsheet, there's just too many I can explain)
Overview: Lyndrake can fulfill many roles, either being a bulky wall with Marvel Scale, fire off Sand Force-boosted Earthquakes and be a bulky attacker, or some other things that you want this to be. Although it only has 75 SpD, its still a huge or top tier pick.

Type:

Abilities: Mold Breaker / Stalwart (HA)
Movepool: Zacian + Earthquake, Spikes, Moonlight, U-turn
Notable Moves: Play Rough, Behemoth Blade, Earthquake, Close Combat, Spikes, Moonlight, U-turn, Swords Dance

Descriptions: Zacian-C has decent bulk, but a great typing and attack stat, which makes it a solid tank. Being able to heal, set Spikes and pivot out make it unique from slower wallbreakers or defensive Pokemon

Pokémon: Stoudrago
Mod of Origin: FEUU
Stats: 150/120/70/85/70/85 (580)
Type:

Abilities: Doggy's Maw
Movepool: Regidrago + Stoutland
Notable Moves: Body Slam, Outrage, Fire Fang, Superpower, Dragon Dance

Descriptions: Stoudrago also has decent bulk, but it posses spammable STAB thanks to its ability. Not carrying about any Ghosts or Fairies in the tier. Its Normal-STAB also gains a free Choice Band boost without restriction or immunities.

azurolt.png

Pokémon: Azurolt
Mod of Origin: Duomod
Stats: 90/105/110/105/100/90 (600)
Type:

Abilities: Electric Surge
Movepool: a lot
Notable Moves: Bulk Up, Calm Mind, Charged Stone, Earth Power, Earthquake, Thunderbolt, Zing Zap, Swords Dance, Moonblast, Clear Beam

Descriptions: Azurolt has a ton of tools to utilize. Its Stealth Rock clone in Charged Stone is quite unique. They only hit two types super effectively (them being Water and Flying) and have an immunity in Ground, but they are still valuable to chip many Pokemon. Its offensive prowess is also great thanks to Electric Terrain, its STABs, Set-up options and coverage.

:ss/zacian-crowned:
Behemoth Blade: Effect got replaced by a high critical hit ratio.

stoudrago.png

Doggy's Maw: Normal, Dragon and Fighting moves used by this Pokémon ignore type-based immunities. This Pokemon's Normal-type moves have 1.5x power.

Jewel Shards: Ground, -%, 32 PP (Hurts grounded foes on switch-in with 2 layers)
Piercing Shots: 50 BP, Dragon, 100%, 24 PP (100% chance to lower target's Defense by 2)

Reductive Bash: Dark, 100%, 8 PP (More power the fewer PP this move has left)
Stormcloud: Electric, -%, 24 PP (Sets Stormcloud on the opponent's side of the field for 10 turns. This will do 1/10th of the opponent's max HP if there is Rain. Ground-type Pokemon are immune to this)

Another set of uncommon typings, another good opportunity for solomods to carry the slate

* = Custom Element

:ss/stunfisk:
Pokemon: Stunfisk
Mod of Origin: Metagame Madness
Stats: 109 / 66 / 84 / 81 / 99 / 32 [BST: 471]
Typing:

Abilities: Static / Regenerator / Sand Veil

Notable Moves:
- Foul Play
- Discharge, Earth Power, Volt Switch
- Shore Up, Stealth Rock, Toxic
Movepool = Stunfisk's Natdex Movepool + Shore Up, Volt Switch
While the buffs Stunfisk receives in Metagame Madness may be low in number, all three new additions are huge for it, taking it from a shitmon to a genuinely strong bulky Regen pivot. I know we do have 2 regenners already, but this thing's unusual typing helps it to stand out from the others, letting it switch into Electrics and Steels with ease and threaten to chip them down with Earth Power.

:ss/Dunsparce:
Pokemon: Dunsparce
Mod of Origin: Pokemon Grey Platinum
Stats: 100 / 85 / 85 / 100 / 100 / 45 [BST: 515]
Typing:

Abilities: Serene Grace / Shed Skin / Rattled

Notable Moves:
- Dragon Rush, Earthquake, Headbutt, Return, Strength*
- Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Flamethrower, Hyper Voice, Ice Beam, Stored Power
- Calm Mind, Coil, Glare, Roost, Stealth Rock, Toxic
Movepool = Dunsparce's Natdex Movepool + Draco Meteor, Dragon Breath, Dragon Dance, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Tail, Hyper Voice, Outrage, Twister, Uproar
Ancient Power - 50bp, 95% acc, boosts user's highest stat by 1 instead of old effect
Astonish - Ghost-type Fake Out clone
Bind - 45bp, 90% acc, lasts 2-5 turns, damages for 1/8 max hp multiplied by the move's type effectiveness on the target
Strength - Removes Spikes and Toxic Spikes from user's side of the field, super effective on Fighting-type Pokémon
Another defensive mon, this time a bulky Dragon with Shed Skin to help it against status or Serene Grace to dish it out if you're crazy enough to go max speed Glare + Headbutt. Dunsparce's surprisingly good movepool finally gets to shine, with options ranging from useful coverage to setup to team support.

:ss/ursaring:
Pokemon: Teddyberry-Star
Mod of Origin: Regional Evolutions
Stats: 90 / 130 / 75 / 60 / 85 / 60 [BST: 500]
Typing:

Abilities: Sweet Veil / Aroma Veil / Iron Fist

Notable Moves:
- Close Combat, Earthquake, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Meteor Mash, Play Rough, Thunder Punch
- eh
- Bulk Up, Moonlight, Taunt, Swords Dance
REvos Sheet is inaccurate for this mon so check here for the correct movepool
A powerful slow breaker than uses Iron Fist-boosted Meteor Mashes and coverage to tear through teams. Despite relatively low defensive stats, its typing makes it pretty fat, allowing it to make good use of Bulk Up and Moonlight to set up on unprepared teams.

Notable Moves:

- Boomburst, Clanging Scales, Focus Blast, Fire Blast

- Stealth Rock, Clangorous Soul, Taunt, Roost, Defog, Parting Shot

Movepool = Kommo-o and Chatot's

Flexible mon that can take an offensive or utility role depending on your needs.

Pokemon: Nacereo
Mod of Origin: Blindsided
Stats:
60851056012060
[BST: 490]
Typing:

Ability: Levitate / Grassy Surge (Neutralizing Gas)
Viable Moves:
Anchor Shot, Spirit Break, Grassy Glide, Wood Hammer
Nope
Synthesis, Wish, Spiky Shield, Defog, Sticky Web, Toxic, Encore, Parting Shot, Leech Seed, Belly Drum, Lunar Dance
Movepool = See here

Nacereo is a somewhat bulky Steel type that provides Web and Lunar Dance support for offensive teams, or alternatively a strong Defogger that can trap and SubSeed mons that it can wall, or just act as a pivot with Parting Shot. Grassy Surge + Grassy Glide and BDrum also opens room for a scary sweeper, if you somehow manage to remove all the Grass resists (Especially Fire types), as it gets no coverage to speak of.

Small slate and Luke pushed back vote opening to tomorrow morning, so take a sub review in the meantime.

Mygavolt:
:altaria: Altellow (Fusion Evolution v6)
I’d be all over this over this one if not for its fusion moves making it too strong here imo, notably a Dragon Boomburst and a DD that also boosts SpA.

KeeganSkymin4444:
:gallade: Gallade-Kalos (Regional Variants)
I like this one a lot. Base seems viable and the mega’s a definite top tier without seeming too overbearing, especially thanks to Wish being its only recovery.

:appletun: Yoshi (Crossover Chaos)
Very strong versatile Dragon. Can pull off Choiced or Softboiled + 3A sets well, but honestly, I’d want to try some stallbreaker sets with Toxic if it gets in. Should be strong however you run it.

Regic Boat:
:drampa: Headrake (Blindsided)
Bad in Blindsided but the lower power level here should be nice for it. Its stats are still pretty underwhelming, but it seems somewhat usable as a bulky attacker.

Low-Key:
:golett: Ultranaut (Pupumons)
Cool MPuller, V form is definitely better for other roles and I’d be down to add the necessary item next slate since it’s an item slate.

:dugtrio: Togetrio (Fusion Evolution v6)
Even as someone who likes trapping, significanly-better-ATrap-Dugtrio seems like a LOT here. Too strong imo.

:dunsparce: Lyndrake (Braviary New World)
I honestly don’t feel comfortable commenting on this without a list of customs, BNW has the most extreme approach to move modification and custom moves I’ve seen in any format. Cool if nothing breaks it but that’s definitely a big “if”.

ViZar:
:zacian-crowned: Zacian-Crowned (Alternatium)
Very potent physical breaker with Spikes to punish switches, seems fun.

:stoutland: Stoutdrago (FEUU)
The meme mon itself, this thing is very gimmicky and very fun. Explosion, Facade, Outrage, you name it. I’m not sure there are as many good answers to it here as there are in FEUU but honestly I don’t care lol.

:graveler-alola: Azurolt (Duomod)
One of Duomod’s many cool mons that is ruined here because of the decision to cut Stealth Rock in favour of Charged Stones. On their own they’re fine, but together it’s a recipe for disaster imo.

Ema Skye:
:kommo-o: Kommo-tot (FERU)
Honestly might be the best non-mega FERU rep available rn, Clangsoul sets seem about as viable as Kommo-o’s now that Boomburst is STAB. Fun mon.

Bobsican:
:corviknight: Nacereo (Blindsided)
I have mixed feelings on this in its home mod, and the lower power level here makes it even scarier. Very potent fatmon with either only one weakness or ability nullification.
