We are in a new era. We have almost caught up with Stereotypes, and with the completion of this slate we will be going with original type combos moving forward. That being said, lets get a move on!

Slate 22: Steel/Dragon, Ground/Fighting, Psychic/Fairy

You know what to do.

Pokemon: Hatterene
Mod of Origin: Megamax
Mega Stats: 57 / 110 / 110 / 151 / 153 / 29 [BST: 610]
Mega Typing:

Mega Ability: Persistent (Extends Gravity/Heal Block/Safeguard/Tailwind/Room moves by 2 turns when used by this mon)

Notable Moves:
- Nuzzle?
- Draining Kiss, Moonblast, Mystical Fire, Psychic, Psyshock, Shadow Ball
- Calm Mind, Gravity, Healing Wish, Trick Room
Movepool = Hatterene's Movepool + Gravity, Moonblast
This is the mon I was most excited for when SSS was approved, especially since Beheeyem's existence made subbing this thing during Melee unviable. Mega Hatt single-handedly makes Trick Room teams about 10 times better thanks to its insane ability and strong stats to back it up, with the downside being that you need to use your mega slot on a support mon. Admittedly we don't have any great TR abusers right now, but the best way to build an archetype in a mod like this is to start with the setter, and I can think of plenty of good partners to bring in down the line. Until then, this can do some funny things with Gravity and the other Rooms. This also comes with base Hatterene, which is going to be a very strong mon in its own right, with MBounce hazard blocking being great for support in this format and Moonblast being a welcome buff to more offensive sets.

:ss/duraludon-gmax:
Pokemon: Duraludon
Mod of Origin: Megamax
Mega Stats: 70 / 120 / 140 / 160 / 50 / 95 [BST: 635]
Mega Typing:

Mega Ability: Mega Launcher

Notable Moves:
- eh
- Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Flash Cannon, Thunderbolt, Water Pulse
- Stealth Rock
Movepool = Duraludon's Movepool + Aura Sphere, Water Pulse
Another iconic Megamax rep, Duraludon is an extremely hard-hitting breaker that abuses some honestly-broken coverage to chew through teams. Pretty simple. Base is useless as always.

:ss/primeape:
Pokemon: Primeape
Mod of Origin: Pokemon Grey Platinum
Stats: 75 / 115 / 80 / 55 / 70 / 105 [BST: 500]
Typing:

Abilities: Vital Spirit / Anger Point / Defiant

Notable Moves:
- Bonemerang*, Close Combat, Fire Punch, Gunk Shot, Ice Punch, Mach Punch, Stone Edge, U-Turn
- nah
- Belly Drum
Movepool = Primeape's Natdex Movepool + Belly Drum, Bonemerang, Double Kick, Drain Punch, Mach Punch, - Foresight (I think?)
Bonemerang - 24pp, now hits airborne
Dual Chop - 50 bp
Strength - Removes Spikes and Toxic Spikes from user's side, super effective on Fighting
While its stats are unimpressive, a great typing and a stupidly spammable STAB in Bonemerang lets you slap a Band or Scarf onto Primeape and go to town. It also comes with some unexpectedly good coverage, as well as Mach and U-Turn for utility. Belly Drum is a very-funny-but-probably-not-great option for Screens builds.

Pokemon: Hatterene
Mod of Origin: Joltemons

Typing:

Abilities: Unchanged
Notable Moves:
- Nuzzle, Smother
- Psychic, Psyshock, Dazzling Gleam, Mystical Fire, Draining Kiss, Stored Power
- Life Dew, Calm Mind, Aromatherapy, Healing Wish
Smother- 75 BP, 100 Acc, 10 PP, Fairy-type. Opponent moves last next turn.
Life Dew- Heals 50% in singles.
Justification: A decently-bulky Magic Bounce abuser. Has some utility in Nuzzle and Aromatherapy, but could also try to swing offensive with Calm Mind or even some sort of Smother+Hazard Stack gimmick.

:ss/duraludon:
Pokemon: Duraludon
Mod of Origin: Clean Slate 2
Stats: 104 / 112 / 98 / 116 / 113 / 32 (575 BST)
Typing:

Abilities: Berserk / Light Metal | Bulletproof
Notable Moves:
- Iron Head, Dragon Tail, Earthquake, Metal Burst, Outrage, Body Press
- Doom Desire, Flash Cannon, Draco Meteor, Earth Power
- Spikes, Stealth Rock, Reflect, Light Screen, Swords Dance, Iron Defense, Curse, Rest, Sleep Talk
Justification: Imagine Jirachonator without the nightmare Shell Smash set. While CS2 Duraludon was historically overpowered, it has been nerfed over the years, cutting down its stats and removing the (bizarrely) broken Mirror Armor. Spikes, Bulletproof, and an amazing Bulk+Typing combo makes Duraludon a very consistent spiker while surprise Berserk sets can punch massive holes in the opposing team. Try out Doom Desire+Eject Pack it rules

Abilities: Strong Jaw | Iron Barbs
Movepool: Tyrantrum +Flash Cannon, Heavy Slam, Swords Dance -Ancient Power, Dragon Dance, Rock Blast
Description: The thinking man's Steel/Dragon. Powerful physical wallbreaker that uses its great defensive typing to set up and cleave through defensive cores. Alternatively a very solid physical wall with offensive power to make up for its lack of reliable recovery.

Name: Musharna
Mod Of Origin: Multiverse
Types:

Stats: 116/55/85/107/95/29 (BST: 487)
Abilities: Forewarn / Magic Bounce / Telepathy
Movepool:
+Teleport, Abstract Dreams*
-
Custom Elements: Abstract Dreams- Psychic, Status, - BP, 100% Acc, 32 Max PP. Has a 33% chance to either Burn, Badly Poison, or Paralyze the opponent
Description: Magic Bounce defensive pivot. Lacks reliable recovery outside of Moonlight. Abstract Dreams allows it to status the opponent in 3 different ways, but it is not consistent. Could also be used as a Trick Room setter thanks to Teleport.

Name: Duraludon
Mod Of Origin: Chatot Reimagination
Types:

Stats: 70/95/115/120/50/85 (BST: 535)
Abilities: Light Metal / Steelworker (flavor but Steelworker isnt a HA, it doesn't have one)
Movepool:
+
-Steel Roller
Custom Elements:
Body Press- Is not affected by user's stat changes
Rock Slide- now 95% Accuracy
Rock Smash- 60 BP, now 100% to lower target's defense
Stone Edge- now 85% Accuracy
Description: The third Duraludon; this one with Steelworker. Duraludon now gets a sizeable increase on its Flash Cannons and/or Steel Beams.

Name: Donphan-Fighter
Mod Of Origin: Stardrop 'Mons
Types:

Stats: 100/125/110/60/55/45 (BST: 495)
Abilities: Sturdy / Sand Veil
Movepool: +All Fighting moves (notably- Body Press, Bulk Up, Close Combat, Drain Punch, Mach Punch, No Retreat, Thunderous Kick)
Description: Donphan-Fighter gains the Fighting type and some new STAB moves. It can still do normal Donphan things, like set Rocks or Rapid Spin, but now it has access to No Retreat and Iron Defense + Body Press. Shame it still has no recovery.

Notable Moves: Aura Sphere, Draco Meteor, Earth Power, Fire Blast, Flash Cannon, Stealth Rock, Thunder, Trick Room

Power: 65
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 10 (16)
Category:

Type:

Effect: Doubles power when a room or Gravity is active.
Priority: 0

Descriptions: Good defensive typing, good bulk and a great offensive movepool. It fits as a defensive Stealth Rock setter with Thunder Wave or Toxic or as a Specs Breaker, with its powerful moves. Both of these sets have the advantage have a Stealth Rock resistance and have switch in opportunities with Pokemon like Cinnastar, Cofazor, Cummulus, Crazefly, Corundell, Frosmoth, Garbodor, Ludicolo, Magroach and others. Niche sets consist of specially defensive Bulk Up sets, which have Body Press and Iron Head or Earthquake as usable moves, and Trick Room sets that uses Dialgas bulk to set-up lategame and sweep. Persistant make those sets a lot more effective.

Movepool: Steelix's + Outrage, Dragon Rush, Draco Meteor, Coil, Glare, Spikes

Orichalix is what people like to call a fast utility tank, packing Spikes and Glare to provide utility, and DTail + Body Press always ensures its not passive. Coil sets are an option but imo not one I think needs much exploration, as 75 Atk is rather low.

Accuracy: -%
Secondary Effect: Heals 25% of only the user’s HP. The next ally to enter the field will have 25% of their health restored upon switching in.

Hatterene adds a well needed answer to big metagame threats like Miemie, adds a Magoc Bouncer which can prove invaluable to many top threats and playstyles alike and just has a bunch of fun options with its new Busted Moves, with Disarming Voice acting like Fire Lash, Decorate setting as a form of healing and the utility of Eerie Spell and to a lesser extent Life Dew.
