Following a lot of recent discussions on all facets of the tier (discord, room, forums) 1v1 Council has decided to survey in order to get a better read on how players feel about the tier currently. The survey will remain open until Sunday May 26th, 11:59 PM GMT -5. If there's any confusion/further questions my DMs are always open :).
First of all, thank you to the 37 people that responded to this survey! The input has very appreciated and I am happy to see similar numbers holding up between different phases of the metagame (hopefully more in the future :D). Without further ado let's unpack the results!
1.
From the total 37 voters the average response was 6.02. Leaning slightly higher than other phases of the metagame, showing a small incline towards having a more enjoyable metagame.
The average response from the 14 qualified voters was 5.72. Meaning players that have played more of the metagame say it is less enjoyable than the average person. (burnout? lol idk how this happens someone enlighten me ?_?)

The average response from all participants was 6.13. This means on average more people find the metagame to be more competitive than uncompetitive.
From the qualified voters, the average response was 6.28. This shows that more experienced players find the meta slightly more competitive than the average person.
Both of these graphs show a majority of players both qualified and not believing Regidrago should have tiering action against it. With the qualified group having a larger majority.
On average, a slight majority of players believe Ogerpon-Hearthflame should not receive action currently, while the majority of qualified players believe Ogerpon-H suspect worthy at this point in time. A lot of "Other" responses were along the lines of "after Regidrago" or "not right now".
Both groups of players believe Gouging Fire to be a fine presence in the tier. Note taken to quit putting this mid mon in discussions for a while x).
Any other threats/pokemon council should keep an eye on?
There was a huge amount of Pecharunt mentioned, which is why leaving the option for questions like these is good! (how did i forget to add that mon here lmao) It makes sense that pecha would be mentioned a lot due to cheese factor in its ability and how well it pairs with a few of the other Pokemon mentioned in this survey.
Following this survey, 1v1 council has come to the decision to suspect Regidrago! Expect the suspect thread to go up this Thursday and thanks again to all who took the time to fill this out!!!
