Project SV DOU Teambuilding Competition v3: Week 21 (aesthetics)

:Tyranitar: :rillaboom: :Archaludon: :landorus: :Ogerpon-Wellspring: :volcarona:
idk why have no people think support volcarona.
the team i used to against chris numbers in hpl w2, the team idea is fakeout rill/support volca+sd waterpon or ip arch set up. just keep the arch healthy u can win a lot of team when against phys team.

As Actuarily and Hugo each received 4 votes I used the !pick command on Pokemon Showdown to determine the winner.

But in a truly unprecedented turn of events, Actuarily decided to forfeit his win.

So congrats to Hugo for winning this week!

:sv/baxcalibur:

This weeks Pokemon is Baxcalibur. Baxcalibur is a threatening Dragon Dance sweeper with access to Icicle Crash and Glaive Rush. Baxcalibur also has the excellent ability Thermal Exchange, which along with a +1 boost to physical attack upon being damaged by fire type moves, also grants it an immunity to will-o-wisp which is usually a reliable way to cripple physical set up sweepers.

Building ends on Friday 13th

I also have a bonus vid/team with a leftovers icebody bax team I tried before the real submission (the one above) but I came to the conclusion that it wasn't it + I was mad after the first game, eitherway hopefully you enjoy both teams and videos :)

No fancy YouTube vid cause I'm boring : (

This team features Support Scream Tail, Ogerpon-Wellspring, Rillaboom, and Ting-Lu to create opportunities for and make the most out of Baxcalibur's setup.

A little bit about the non standard sets:

:scream tail: - One of my all-time favorite support mons, it has so many tools and is super under explored. Howl, Encore, Disable helps to stop any phasing opportunities that opposing teams may have to stop baxcalibur, as well as boost it even further.

:ting lu: - A slight twist on the Ting-Lus that are running around right now, I threw snarl on over the common coverage slot or spikes to help with damage mitigation.

:okidogi: - Upper hand and okidogi in general helps to deal with Incineroar, which can be troublesome for this team, Okidogi offensively also patches up the fairy matchup.

Everyone so far has made pretty great teams. As a late participant of this competition, this just means that I need to step up my game and make a distinct team of my own. I wanted to make a Trick Room team with slow, bulky mons that doesn't always have to depend on Trick Room; basically, those mons will be using their priority moves. I tested the team on the ladder, and I was content with its result. If you decide to try out the team, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
