1. INTRODUCTION :
Hallo ! Its SpaceSpeakers again and welcome to my second RMT (the first one is here ) on my favourite tier. APAC just got eliminated from OMWC so i decided to share a MNM team we built for this tour. Normally, i just send pastes in Post-OMWC thread but since this team is by far the team I feel most satisfied with and I promised my players that I would do a RMT after OMWC anyways. It's nice to provide details or personal opinions on structures/mons for people I often play MNM with, plus I'm taking a break from mons until OMPL so I think this is my last chance this year. Whatever, the team was built for specific opponent (esp Clas fuck you ) but it turned out it can perform well against many matchups.

LordBox (Ceruledge) @ Lucarionite
Ability: Flash Fire
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

So obviously i started with Ceruledge as my main breaker here. This mon is just good at breaking opponents' defensive core. At first, i was using Latiosite Ceru (mostly for Ground immunity) but turned out it does not hit hard as i expected plus its slower than non-speed etern so i decided to replace with Lucarionite which gives Ceruledge 35 atk stats and Adaptability ( seems like nothing is gonna stop this mon, i know). Flash Fire as an ability pre-mega helps you to take some advantage of Flamethrower from Etern or Flare Blizt from Arcanine-H ( You can use Weak Armor if you want to go full offensive ). There's not much to say about these 4 moves because they are the basic moves that Ceru should have. I really enjoy spamming Poltergeist and after a Sword Dance ( and some chip ), there is literally nothing that can survive a Polt ( I do not count Mandibuzz and Normal Arceus ). I could run Close Combat over Sword Dance if im too afraid of Normal Arc matchup but whatever, i knew Clas was not going to use it 100%. Moreover, i decided to go with Adamant over Jolly because with 344 speed ( it does not outspeed too much cool stuff in this range except offensive Lunala but usually i just click Shadow Sneak and ohko it anyways).

RoFnA (Eternatus) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Bomb
- Dynamax Cannon
- Toxic
- Recover​

Next, i chose Eternatus as a physical defensive pokemon for the team. This mon is tier S in Mix and Mega and it is really helpful against exspeed mons such as Dragonite, Regieleki, Arcanine-Hisui thanks to its great stats and defensive typing. Moreover, Rocky Helmet mainly helps to punish Urshifu with Surging Strikes or to chip pivots like Mandibuzz, Corviknight, Milotic,... Toxic and Sludge Bomb let it pressure bulky set up sweepers and also annoy Sablenite mons which it can't Toxic. Dynamax Cannon acts as a great STAB move, letting Eternatus more reliably threaten foes that resist Sludge Bomb such as Great Tusk and Landorus ( You can go with Dragon Pulse if you want more pp ). I do not choose Flamethrower because i already have Ceruledge to deal with steel types matchups. Speaking of evs, I simply run max HP and max Def because as i said, it is my main physical defensive wall. 4 evs Speed here is to outspeed non-speed Etern lol ( i know some ppl who still run this set)

Ability: Sand Stream
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Slack Off
- Whirlwind ​

Hippo is the next member of the team that can pair well with Eternatus because its typing blocks Volt Switch users which are really annoying (especially Regieleki), with Sablenite it is able to prevent hazards from numerous mons such as Garga, Arcanine-H, Great Tusk,... Hippowdon is an extremely good mixed wall thanks to its amazing bulk, Sablenite and reliable Recover. Since its natural defense is already high so i can invest in Special Def to check a ton of things like Magearna, Eternatus, Spectrier, Lunala, ... Earthquake is its main STAB and its main way of doing damage while Stealth Rock lets Hippowdon chip away at foes switching in and Whirldwind is here mainly to annoy setup sweepers like Arceus, Dragonite,... ( Last move could be anything imo, like Crunch for Lunala or Stone edge for Ho oh/ Kilowattrel ). This mon looks dumb as the nickname i gave it.

TTTech (Magearna) @ Latiasite
Ability: Soul-Heart
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Def / 156 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Ice Beam
- Pain Split
- Encore
- Volt Switch​

Next, i was looking for a slow pivot that can cover for Hippowdon and turned out Magearna is the best mon here. With its great typing + Latiasite, it becomes a mixed wall that allows me to make progress. I run max HP and 156 SpD+ to live 3 hits from Etern and Kilowattrel. Furthermore, my Magearna has min speed because i want it to be slower than other mag then i can pivot into my breakers safely. It's an amazing physical blanket check to most of the physical attackers of the tier like Pins Tusk, Samurott-H, Baxcalibur, ... thanks to its access to BoltBeam coverage. Pain Split is not a reliable recovery but still annoying for several mons anyways. Encore helps to deal with CM users such as Arceus, Lunala, Blissey... I mainly used Magearna as a soft check for Lugia which is kinda broken atm. ( We try to stall it with Ice beam and Pain Split and then find a turn to switch Regieleki in to revenge kill with Supercell Slam . I'm glad that it works most of the time tho )

Rei (Regieleki) @ Altarianite
Ability: Transistor
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe

Not much to say about this mon, it is the best pokemon in Mix and Mega, acts as a revenge killer, hazard remover and also offensive pivot. I often use Clas 's spread but since i was against him that week so i decided to go max atk max speed because Speed is important and i do not want to be slower in a 1v1 between 2 Regieleki. Supercell Slam over Explosion is mainly for Lugia, always 2hko but you need to find a turn to switch Eleki in safely though.

Velcroc (Great Tusk) @ Metagrossite
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Stone Edge
- Close Combat
- Headlong Rush​

Finally, Great Tusk is another excellent breaker that can work well with Ceruledge. Headlong Rush + Close Combat can break throuh bulky targets that annoy Ceruledge like Garga, Eternatus,... or even 2hko Corviknight/Mandibuzz after Stealth Rock chip. Great Tusk can be used to take on entry hazard setters like Garga one-on-one by forcing them out and removing hazards. Stone Edge is mainly for Ho oh and Pre-mega Dragonite. It should be used aggressively to force out and keep entry hazards off the field against other setters. By that i mean you should try to double switch between Tusk and Ceru more to make progress which zastra can never do it

Here are some replays w the team. Note that i did make some small change ( Baxcalibur over Ceruledge ) because fucking zas did not want me to load Ceru week 1 but overall the structure looks the same. However, i do not encourage you to use Bax over Ceru here because it is more difficult to make progress with Bax than Ceru. You gotta play ultra safe and try to double switch a lot to take advantage of Heracronite Bax.

I do enjoy playing MNM with Ivar ngl because he is actually very good and playing against good players helps me to improve my skills.
