Can we like link games and replays because the games I'm playing and watching (some of it is a playing issue). I haven't even seen a Chi-Yu on a single screens Dark-team yet and on fire, Chi-Yu should not be struggling with Sun+Beads of Ruin. I don't really expect Iron Treads to be doing much.. Steel has Klefki / Corvinknight / Aegislash 2.0 for Spd Annihilape and you can run scarf for the +Spe Annihilapes. Ground probably autoloses, best bet is Specs Sandy Shocks in reality (vs Ghost). Taunt sets are good but it feels like people don't even bother prepping for this. Not sure why we are running rainless when Barraskewda with: Liquidation+CC+Crunch helps beat Dark/Ghost which is at the top of the metagame or Pelipper at worst lol. Also surprised on how their seems to be a lack of discussion(edit: relative to how insane this mon is) on Annihilape, its solid typing combined with great all around stats for what it needs to do, (the bulk to survive hits and get off setups/make use of rage fist multiplier, speed to get off taunts, general attacking power for dp recovery/fist damage) allow it to be just as menacing as anything else that has been qb'd in my opinion.
Along with its excellent bulk it has good capacity for recovery with a strong STAB Drain Punch combined with lefties allowing it to take and oftentimes recover off the hits that it needed to take to take rage fist to a ridiculously high base power. Bulk Up aids in this endeavor by making it eat physicals better and taunt completely invalidates things like clodshire/toxapex/corv that would be able to check it but get forced into doing nothing more than providing it more base power.
Rage fist is an excellent move for obvious reasons but what really brings it over the top is the boost remaining despite switching out. Being able to potentially farm base power early game with good predicts while taking minimal damage is scary as hell.
It is an offensive meta and offensive pressure seems to be the most viable way to take it down(kill it before rage fist go brrrr) but many of the popular attackers such as chi-yu, iron bundle, iron treads, qualaval, ect ect fail to take it down while either in return oftentimes dying to a drain punch, or providing it with the recovery to survive a second hit and continue on(all while rage fist power boosts continue).
