Tournament SV Ubers UU - Eleceus Free No Johns Tour - Challenge Code: /challenge Ubers UU @@@ -Arceus-electric (Round 1 at #30)

Thank you all for signing up for the event, and with that out out of the way, I declare the No Johns Tour's commencement.

Long Long Ago, in another universe, there was an egg surrounded by a void of Chaos.

This egg hatched into the Alpha.This Alpha then created the universe and the legendary Pokémon Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina (the Creation Trio) to govern time, space, and antimatter. Subsequently, it created the Lake Trio (Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf) to represent the spirit, and the world was fully formed. Tired after his wonderous work This Alpha later went into a slumber.

Years later however, in the 4th Epoch, a legendary prophet named Chaos Monses decided to unleash this Alpha onto the world, thus unleashing Arceus.

However, being suddenly woken up meant Arceus manifested itself in different forms(17 different forms), but to ensure that the prophet would not die, came down to Ubers in a weakened form, one where he could not fully maximize his stats, limited to just 100 EVs per stat at most. However, tragidy struck when he left heaven to join the others in the 5th Epoch to join his other creations in the land of the angels(Ubers). It allowed his Heaven to be taken over by an usurper, Mega Rayquaza, in the 6th Epoch.

Over the Epochs, he saw many other false pretenders take over his heaven and make it their home, including a shadow king riding a horse in the 9th Epoch. It was also in this 9th Epoch that he decided that enough was enough and decided to built a holding cell called UUbers. It was created to hold those who would defy him, including his evil creation, namely Giratina, created by master architect Kineus Noasquared.

However, when the situation became dire with Giratina terrorizing all, Arceus being the loving father went down to UUbers in his lower forms (Electric, Ice, Dark, Fighting, Grass, Bug, Rock, Poison). However, Giratina the deciever decided to use this opportunity to flee to Ubers. Arceus who had been bearing the insults to him since the 6th Epoch, and now further frustrated thinking Giratina was hiding in the shadows, chose to take his old testament electric form searched for Giratina in UUbers leaving wanton destruction across his path, not realizing that his rampage risked destroying the tier.

Now, you brave souls have volunteered to help the Tier assess the situation and see if Eleceus should stay in UUbers or be sent back to the land of Angels. We will send you into an alternate dimension where you can see a world without our father Arceus in his Electric form. Check in and tell us how this felt in the metagames discussion here.

Specific Rules:
  • This is a non-standard SV Ubers UU (Gen 9) tournament and the challenge code would be /challenge Ubers UU @@@ -Arceus-electric.
  • Matches are to be played on PS!, preferably on the smogtours server.
  • All rounds will be a best of three, single elimination.
  • Replays will be required for ALL rounds!
  • This is a "No Johns" tournament, so there will be no extensions and you may have just four days to complete a set.
Standard Rules and Clauses:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • Species Clause: A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same Pokedex number on their team.
  • Evasion Clause: The moves Double Team and Minimize are banned.
  • OHKO Clause: The moves Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, and Fissure are banned.
  • Endless Battle Clause: Anything capable of intentionally creating an endless battle is banned.
