[OVERVIEW]

* Tapu Lele's unique ability Psychic Surge allows it to support its team by both preventing priority moves against frailer Pokemon and boosting powerful Psychic-type moves for certain Pokemon such as Deoxys-A and Ultra Necrozma.
* Its unique Psychic / Fairy typing along with the deadly combo of Taunt + Nature's Madness allow it to support its team by forcing out certain passive threats that would give most teams trouble such as Giratina, Mega Sableye, Chansey, Blissey and Lugia.
* A decent Special Attack stat and Speed tier combined with a powerful ability allow it to function as a decent offensive threat outside of its support role.
* While it is mostly outclassed outside of teams that take advantage of Psychic Surge, a few niches such as being virtually immune to priority and possessing powerful Psychic STAB attacks thanks to the Terrain allow it to function outside of that by utilizing a Choice Scarf set.
* When compared to Choice Scarf Xerneas, Choice Scarf Tapu Lele can deal significantly more damage to neutral targets, render itself immune to priority with Psychic Terrain, and beat Mega Lucario and Marshadow more easily, but it has less bulk and weaker Fairy STAB moves, meaning it doesn't beat Yveltal as easily.
* Tapu Lele's lack of bulk makes it lose against anything faster than it and anything bulky enough to take one or two of its attacks provided Tapu Lele doesn't put it in range on the switch.
* While Nature's Madness hits Pokemon like Necrozma-DM and other specially bulky Pokemon on the switch for 50%, Tapu Lele is forced out afterwards, since its lack of bulk leaves it getting OHKOed or 2HKOed more often than not, and a lot of these Pokemon possess recovery, allowing them to heal off the damage on the switch or attack Tapu Lele if you decide to stay in and use Taunt.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Psychic benefits from Psychic Surge and is Tapu Lele's strongest neutral attack, 2HKOing Primal Groudon, support Arceus formes hit neutrally by it after Stealth Rock, and most Xerneas.
* Moonblast hits Dark-types like Yveltal, which are immune to Psychic, and Dragon-types like Rayquaza, Ultra Necrozma, and Giratina-O harder than Psychic would.
* Nature's Madness hits bulky threats that take little damage from Tapu Lele's other attacks like Steel-types, Chansey, Blissey, and Ho-Oh, providing more chip damage for Tapu Lele's partners.
* Taunt blocks setup, entry hazard stacking, recovery, and Defog, which is useful at shutting down support Pokemon and more passive threats. Taunt can also be used on the recovery turn for Nature's Madness targets, but be careful of threats that can KO Tapu Lele back such as Ho-Oh and defensive Necrozma-DM.

Set Details
========

* The EVs and nature maximize Special Attack and Speed, as investing in defenses isn't worth it and Tapu Lele wants to outspeed as much as possible.
* Terrain Extender gives Tapu Lele three more Psychic Terrain turns that it and its team can utilize.

Usage Tips
========

* As stated earlier, Tapu Lele is frail, causing it to get 2HKOed or OHKOed by a lot of strong neutral attacks, so be careful switching it in.
* If you don't have an idea of what foe is going to come in, Nature's Madness is the simple solution, as it hits anything for 50% and no Pokemon are immune to it.
* Utilize Taunt and Nature's Madness to cripple and force out passive threats with few ways to deal direct damage such as Lugia, Chansey, and Blissey.
* If Tapu Lele's partner can sweep the opposing team, you can sacrifice Tapu Lele to ensure Psychic Terrain is up and to give its partner a chance to come in. Remember that Tapu Lele's main job is to support its team with Psychic Surge.
* While Tapu Lele's physical bulk is terrible, it actually has enough special bulk to take a decent hit or two. For example, with no investment, Tapu Lele survives a Dark Pulse from Timid 252 SpA Life Orb Yveltal after Stealth Rock.
* Tapu Lele is one of the best anti-leads versus Mega Sableye, preventing it from Mega Evolving due to possessing Fairy STAB moves and being immune to Fake Out, making it much harder for the opponent to bring it in later. This set also has good matchups versus a lot of stall Pokemon in general due to Taunt combined with Nature's Madness ignoring their bulk.

Team Options
========
* Tapu Lele cores usually only work on offensive builds due to lack of overall bulk and the offensive power awarded by Psychic Terrain; however, your build is usually different depending on which partner you choose due to them having specific checks unique to eachother.
* Fast and powerful Psychic-types make obvious partners, with the ideal ones being Deoxys-A with its massive attacking stats, Psychic STAB moves, and vulnerability to priority and Ultra Necrozma with its overwhelmingly powerful Z-Move and access to Swords Dance and Calm Mind. Other partners can be used, however; the only prerequisite is having a powerful Psychic-type STAB move.
* Sticky Web works wonders with Psychic Terrain, robbing the slowed Pokemon of their priority attacks and giving you a better chance to sweep. If you are not running Sticky Web, Magearna is almost a required teammate due to it providing a hard answer to Xerneas and Yveltal.
* Primal Groudon beats Ferrothorn, specially defensive Necrozma-DM, Magearna, Celesteela, and Skarmory, while Arceus-Ground beats offensive Necrozma-DM, Magearna, and Mega Lucario, Steel-types that Tapu Lele and its partners would want gone.
* Mega Salamence checks physical threats and Ground-types without Ice coverage both offensively and defensively with Intimidate and can threaten to sweep with Dragon Dance or remove entry hazards with Defog.
* Other fast but frail Pokemon can benefit from the priority-nullifying properties of Psychic Terrain. However, it should be said that building too much around Psychic Surge can hamper your team if Tapu Lele is KOed early.
* U-turn support is not required but can be useful for getting Tapu Lele in unscathed.
* Bulky Fairy-types pair well with Tapu Lele and its typical partners, as they can take hits from Yveltal and KO back.

[SET]
name: Choice Scarf
move 1: Psychic

move 3: Aromatherapy
move 4: Hidden Power Fire
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Psychic Surge
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Psychic does around 50% to Primal Groudon and neutral support Arceus sets and is Tapu Lele's strongest move. Keep in mind that being locked into Psychic leaves Tapu Lele vulnerable to Dark-types such as Arceus-Dark and Yveltal. Psyshock can be run instead and performs with much the same function. However, Tapu Lele loses the aforementioned 2HKOs in exchange for hitting Ho-Oh and Primal Kyogre harder.
* Moonblast hits Dark-types, which are immune to Psychic, and does more damage to Dragon-types, (AC) and no Pokemon is immune to it. A notable target is Yveltal, which is OHKOed if it runs an offensive set and 2HKOed with a defensive one.
* Aromatherapy provides cleric support, which is useful on offensive teams to remove status.
* Hidden Power Fire is arguably Tapu Lele's best option for hitting Steel-types. However, most of them have the bulk to easily absorb it if they aren't already at low HP. Keep in mind that this move is weak against any other target and usually a bad idea to stay locked into.
* Nature's Madness can be run over Aromatherapy or Hidden Power Fire. However, keep in mind that it is impossible to get KOs if Tapu Lele is locked into it and it is overall less effective on this set than on the other set.

Set Details
========

* Maximum Special Attack and Speed investment with a Timid nature allows Tapu Lele to maximize its damage output and outspeed neutral-natured Choice Scarf Xerneas and Yveltal as well as a neutral-natured +1 Rayquaza while Speed tying with Jolly sets.
* Choice Scarf turns Tapu Lele into an effective revenge killer that has the perk of being practically immune to priority, allowing it to beat threats such as Mega Lucario, Rayquaza, and Marshadow regardless of its current HP.

Usage Tips
========

* Utilize this set to beat fast but frail Pokemon that would otherwise end up being an annoyance for your team such as Marshadow, setup sweepers with priority, and +1 124 Speed Mega Salamence.
* Tapu Lele's lack of bulk means switching it into offensive moves is a risk. Try to switch on predicted priority moves, on moves that don't deal damage such as Recover or a Dragon-type move, or after another Pokemon faints.
* The support set can be faked, which can end up surprising many would-be offensive checks such as Marshadow and netting a KO. However, keep in mind that this set can be revealed by Psychic Terrain lasting only 5 turns.
* Keep in mind that when you're using this set with a team designed around Psychic Terrain, sacrificing Tapu Lele too early can end badly.
* Tapu Lele makes a great anti-lead to Mega Sableye, being able to force it out in the lead matchup without letting it Mega Evolve; however, this set fares worse against stall teams in general due to its inability to switch moves and lack of the offensive power to blow through them with a single attack.

Team Options
========

* The loss of three Psychic Terrain turns hurts your team's ability to take advantage of it. However, a Psychic Terrain core is still possible and allows the typical partners to operate more freely. For example, Deoxys-A can run Extreme Speed without it being a useless move most of the time.
* Pokemon that fit with the above set also work with this set; however, they may be played differently. For example, Magearna has some pressure taken off of it, as Tapu Lele tends to beat Yveltal and Xerneas one-on-one provided it uses the correct moves, and a Ground-type teammate should be switched in more, as this set is even worse against Steel-types.
* This set typically fits on Psychic Terrain builds that would appreciate a decently powerful Fairy-type revenge killer but can't spare a slot for Choice Scarf Xerneas. Choice Scarf Tapu Lele can be run on its own without building around Psychic Terrain, but Xerneas is usually the better pick for its superior bulk and better coverage on its primary STAB move.
* Choice Scarf makes Tapu Lele lose the ability to check foes like Chansey, Blissey ,and Lugia, so checks to those kinds of threats should be run as well.
*This set's ability to revenge kill powerful priority users lets it support its team by removing foes such as Marshadow and even boosted Mega Lucario provided Tapu Lele doesn't get KOed coming in, something even Choice Scarf Xerneas has trouble with.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* Shadow Ball is a decent option to OHKO the rare Lunala after Stealth Rock and do more damage to Necrozma-DM but is generally useless otherwise.
* Grass Knot finds a use on the Choice Scarf set because it 2HKOes Arceus-Water and Arceus-Ground, does more damage to Primal Kyogre, and is a decent option for hitting Primal Groudon outside of Terrain, but other than that it doesn't do much.
* Psychium Z can be used for an offensive nuke to destroy some common switch-ins, but Necrozma-DM still takes little damage from the attack and can recover off the damage.
* An offensive Calm Mind set can work, but even with Calm Mind, Tapu Lele can't break past most bulky Steel-types.
* Focus Blast can be used on the Choice Scarf set over Hidden Power Fire, as it does more damage to Necrozma-DM and most other Steel-types. However, the accuracy can be infuriating and the narrow target range makes Hidden Power Fire the preferred choice most of the time.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Necrozma-DM**: Tapu Lele's STAB attacks are rendered impotent against Necrozma-DM's bulk, Sunsteel Strike will OHKO no matter what, and Necrozma-DM possesses recovery in Morning Sun, which allows it to mitigate Nature's Madness.

**Other Steel-types**: Most Steel-types either possess the Speed to outspeed and KO Tapu Lele outright or possess enough bulk to easily take Tapu Lele's moves barring Nature's Madness. For example, Ferrothorn and Celesteela can set up or OHKO Tapu Lele with Steel STAB moves, Mega Lucario outspeeds and OHKOes with Meteor Mash but loses to Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, and Magearna laughs at any of its moves. Even the less viable Steel-types like Mega Metagross and Arceus-Steel can easily dispose of Tapu Lele due to outspeeding it and resisting its STAB moves.

**Ho-Oh**: Ho-Oh takes all of Tapu Lele's attacks, can OHKO or 2HKO back, and can utilize Regenerator to bypass Taunt if Stealth Rock isn't up.

**Mega Gengar**: Mega Gengar can come in on everything barring Psychic and traps Tapu Lele, easily OHKOing it with Sludge Wave.

**Primal Kyogre**: Primal Kyogre has enough special bulk to withstand any of Tapu Lele's moves and can easily OHKO with Water STAB moves, but it lacks recovery, allowing it to be worn down.

**Dark-types**: Yveltal and Arceus-Dark naturally outspeed Tapu Lele and are immune to Psychic. However, Yveltal can't OHKO without Stealth Rock unless it is using Choice Specs and has a chance to be OHKOed by Moonblast even without Stealth Rock, while Arceus-Dark is 2HKOed as well and doesn't OHKO in return, though it tends to fair better due to better bulk.

**Faster Pokemon**: Tapu Lele's lack of bulk leads to it getting OHKOed or 2HKOed by any offensive threat faster than it. However, most of these Pokemon are frail as well, meaning Tapu Lele can 2HKO or OHKO them if using the Choice Scarf set, as otherwise the Speed advantage is lost.

Koko and Bulu is really not viable
maybe cut that?
I beg to differ. Koko is at least viable as a niche pick and some people have made use out of Bulu in the past, but if others insist I'll cut it. I just wanted more things to fill up C&C and that was a specific case which fit the bill.

This seems QC ready, I don't really know what else I can elaborate on. Lele is a pretty simple mon all things considered.

Stoward

Ah, you're finally awake
Hey. Nice work here! Especially for your first analysis! Just an AM check, implement what you agree with :)

[OVERVIEW]

* Decent special attack and speed tier combined with a powerful ability allow it to function as a decent offensive threat alone and as a support
I kinda disagree with this statement. While Lele does have a respectable Special Attack stat - especially when boosted by psychic terrain, it's job is mostly to set up psychic terrain for deoxys-a (and occasionally mmy I guess). But you'll never see Lele used as a standalone mon. It's offensive stats combined with access to Taunt and Natures Madness allow it to support Deoxys-A. Preventing hazards and setup wearing down potential checks and it's 130 base SpA and decent speed tier just helps ease the process of chipping away at threats.

* While nature's madness is a decent option for hitting things like Dusk Mane Necrozama or other bulky steel types on the switch, you are forced out afterwards since your other moves do very little damage and they are often able to OHKO Tapu Lele with steel STAB.
****Necrozma - I know it's a GP thing but it's always nice making their job easier.

Also while the above statement isn't untrue, I feel like this should be reworded more to talk about how despite the fact that Tapu Leles job is meant to be to support Deoxys-A, it is still threatened by many of the mons that deoxys-A tries to take down. There's a bit more depth to Natures Madness than that.

Oh on another note, it should be mentioned somewhere that the fact that other Tapus are a rare sight in the Ubers tier makes it easy for Tapu Lele to keep Psychic Terrain on the field once it's been set.

[SET]
name: Offensive Psychic Terrain
move 1: Psychic
move 2: Moonblast
move 3: Nature's Madness
move 4: Taunt
item: Terrain Extender
ability: Psychic Surge

Personally I think the order for this should be
  1. Taunt
  2. Natures Madness
  3. Moonblast
  4. Psychic
Taunt is crucial for Lele as it prevents mons from setting up and sweeping, setting hazards and removing hazards, and also it prevents fat mons from healing.

Natures Madness helps wear down bulky Pokemon such as Chansey, Blissey, Ho-Oh and Lugia which tend to run enough SpD to take minimal damage from Leles attacks. Also this becomes deadly when combined with Taunt, as these Pokemon aren't able to recover off the damage dealt by Nature's Madness. It is also nice for wearing down Lele's would-be checks and counters and makes it easier for teammates to sweep.

Moves

* Psychic benefits from Psychic Surge and are Tapu Lele's strongest neutral attack.
* Moonblast hits dark types like Yveltal which are immune to Psychic and some offensive dragon types like Rayquaza, Ultra Necrozama, and Latias harder than psychic moves would.
* Nature's madness hits bulky steel types like Dusk Mane Necrozama, Ferrothorn and Magearna on the switch and is a good move to click when you're not sure what's coming in.
* Taunt blocks setup, hazard stacking, recovery and defog, which is useful with the correct prediction.
I'd just add on the info I said about Taunt + Natures Madness that I posted above.

Usage Tips
========

* As stated earlier Tapu Lele is frail, causing it to get 2HKOed or OHKOed by a lot of strong neutral attacks, so be careful switching it in.
* If you don't have an idea of what is going to come in, Nature's Madness is the simple solution as it hits anything for 50% and has no immunities.
* Using Tapu Lele as a lead can work since you have Taunt to shut down opposing leads and has the advantage of setting Psychic Terrain early, just watch out for early KOs by more offensive leads.
* If Tapu Lele's partner can sweep the opponents team, you can sacrifice Tapu Lele to ensure Psychic Terrain is up and to give it's partner a chance to come in.
* While its physical bulk is terrible, it actually has enough special bulk to take a decent hit or two. For example, with no investment Tapu Lele survives a Dark Pulse from Timid 252 SpA Life Orb Yveltal after stealth rock.
Lele is kinda placed in an odd situation. Since it's job is mainly to set Psychic Terrain for Deoxys-A. It doesn't really need to be kept that healthy. But at the same time, since Deoxys-A is often a late-game cleaner, it's crucial that Lele is kept alive long enough so that Deoxys-A is able to take advantage of its psychic terrain, meaning that despite the fact that making sacrifices is a key component to using the offensive playstyle that Lele belongs to, and while Lele often puts in the least work as a standalone mon, it still has to be kept alive long enough for Deoxys-A to take advantage of Psychic Terrain. I can't think of an easy way to communicate that in dot-point form, but I feel like it should he communicated.

It's probably worthwhile mentioning how Lele should be played against certain playstyles here. I kinda disagree with the using it as a lead, since I can't think of any dedicated leads it beats 1v1. It isn't fast enough to stop Deoxys-S from getting hazards up, it doesn't want to deal with Excadrill. It does kinda beat smeargle though (unless they're a madman an so they magic coat your Taunt), Shuckle runs mental Herb so you can't prevent webs and it's a 50/50 with Cloyster since it dishes a hell of a lot of damage with icicle spear, but Lele reduces it to its sash with any of its attacks.

Team Options
========

* Fast and powerful psychic types make obvious partners, notable ones being Deoxys-A, Mewtwo, Ultra Necrozama, and Dusk Mane Necrozama.
* Primal Groudon and Arceus-Ground can beat the steel types which give Tapu Lele and partners problems.
* Other fast but frail Pokemon can benefit from the priority nullifying properties of Psychic Terrain, however it should be said that building too much around Psychic Surge can hamper your team if Tapu Lele is KOed early.
* Bulky Fairy types pair well with Tapu Lele and its typical partners as they can take hits from Yveltal and KO back.
I'd like to see some mention of entry hazards and the sorts of playstyles that Deo + Lele fit on. Also a generic comment about u-turn would be nice.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* Choice Scarf is a viable option on heavily role compressed builds which need a revenge killer but don't want to spend a slot on Xerneas or Yveltal, however it cuts down on Psychic Terrain turns and allows bulky steel types to wall it more effectively.
* Shadow Ball is a decent option over taunt with scarf to KO rare Lunala and do damage to a severely weakened Dusk Mane Necrozama but is generally useless otherwise.
* Psyshock hits some things like Primal Kyogre and Ho-Oh harder but the power to 2HKO Primal Groudon usually outweighs this.
* An offensive Calm Mind set can work but even with Calm Mind it can't break past most bulky steel types.
* Aromatherapy is an interesting option which allows for cleric support, but is generally outclassed by Xerneas in this role.
* Focus Blast and HP Fire can fry Ferrothorn but don't have much use otherwise.
Thunder would also be a nice oo since it bops Lugia. Ho-Oh, and Primal Kyogre. However, Lugia is already shut down by Taunt + Natures Madness, Ho-Oh takes less than 50% from Thunder and can ohko Lele back and Primal Kyogre similarly only takes a fraction more damage from Thunder than it does from Psychic, meaning most of the time it's more beneficial to use Natures Madness.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel Types**: Most steel types either possess the speed to outspeed and KO Tapu Lele outright or possess enough bulk and the right typing that its moves do very little damage barring Nature's Madness.
Should probably mention that Steel-types resist Lele's Dual STABs. I know it's already implied but it's good to outright state it.

**Bulky Pokemon**: Any Pokemon which Tapu Lele can't 2HKO or OHKO can likely force it out with powerful moves. Examples being Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, and bulkier variants of Xerneas and Yveltal.
Idk if bulky Xern is getting an analysis. I haven't seen lefties Xern since like XY and that one time Aim used it in his Zygarde showcase, so idk if it's worth mentioning here. It's a cool set though and worth discussing with QC.

**Other Terrain Users**: The odd Tapu Koko or Tapu Bulu can change the terrain, eliminating Tapu Lele's main niche.
While this isn't untrue, other Tapu's are quite rare and I don't think any of the others are receiving an analysis, so it's probably worth mentioning - if mentioning it at all that the presence of other Tapu's are quite rare.

Oh adding on from discussions on discord yesterday. (Shoutout to Cyanara). Grass Knot is more useful than Thunder. The ordering of the moves can stay as they were, and Aromatherapy can be moved up to moves, but don't slash it anywhere.

Reworded some stuff to put more emphasis on some of the points you talk about as I agree with a lot of it. Thanks for the help, by the way.

Cynara

Banned deucer.
Stoward already gave you a good AM QC and discussion on discord but i feel some content can still be polished

Overview

I would mention something about the access to Taunt and combination of Nature's Madness to deal with walls such as Blissey/Chansey and Lugia as the combination of these moves completely shuts them down and forces them out.

Team options

Mention Salamence-Mega, it is the ideal ground immunity for Tapu Lele teams, providing a check to common threats such as Ho-oh, Primal Groudon etc and also has the option of defog support. It has good offensive synergy with other essential mentioned team options like Pdon and Groundceus

Other options

Stoward mentioned Thunder and I can see the logic and justification, but I feel Grass knot is the superior option over this, Thunder hits Hooh for pathetic damage and Lugia is completely shut down by Taunt. Grass Knot gains on Groundceus and Pdon (outside of terrain) and is much more reliable move for the previous mentioned targets like Waterceus, Kyogre.

Checks and Counters
I think Mega Gengar should get its own mention as its able to trap and remove Tapu Lele, thus removing any psychic terrain support it could provide later in the game completely.

Ho-Oh should also get a mention, especially if rocks are off the field as Ho-Oh is able to tank and recover off any of Lele’s damage, offensive Ho-Ohs are also quite threatening to Tapu Lele teams.

Tapu Bulu is nigh unviable and you should just mention Tapu Koko instead of other terrain users.

Implemented some of this, sorry for late response.

*When combined with Taunt, Nature's Madness can eliminate certain defensive threats which would otherwise wall and force out Tapu Lele such as Lugia and Chansey/Blissey.
*When combined with Taunt, Nature's Madness can shut down and eliminate certain defensive threats which would otherwise wall and force out Tapu Lele such as Lugia and Chansey/Blissey.
These are rather reptitive overview points.
* Psychic benefits from Psychic Surge and is Tapu Lele's strongest neutral attack.
Alright... but this is somewhat obvious. Show some more indepth details relative to the metagame Lele is functioning in. Does it ohko/2hko any big targets?
* Moonblast hits dark types like Yveltal which are immune to Psychic and dragon types like Rayquaza, Ultra Necrozma, and Latias harder than psychic moves would.
Mega Latias if we're gonna mention it. I'd rather a more viable Dragon was mentioned here instead as its seems out of place.
* Terrain Extender allows Tapu Lele to switch moves and changes the amount of Psychic Terrain turns from 5 to 8, giving its teammates more time to abuse it.
This makes it sound like the item itself is allowing Lele to switch moves.

The nature should have a quick description (or combine with max speed talks) in Set Details as well.

Usage Tips is somewhat lacking. Tapu Lele is the cornerstone of Psychic Terrain teams and the way it plays can vary based on its partners and matchups. The way its played with Deo-A is not the same as Ultra Necrozma. I wanna see more details on things of this nature.
* Tapu Lele and its typical partners, Deoxys-A and Ultra Necrozma, fit more on hyper offense or offense builds more than anything else, so keep that in mind while choosing the other four Pokemon.
This point is better as the first or second point as its an overall mention.

All of the OO options are basically options for a Scarf set. I'd probably drop Focus Blast entirely, and give more targets for HP Fire.

The QC team may decide to give this a scarf set but I'll get back to you on that.

C&C needs some more tuning. I don't like the idea of Koko being mentioned when there isn't that many things going on here already. The categories are too broad, which is likely the problem. Ho-Oh switches in better than a Primal Groudon would. Give more thought to what would go in the categories and consider if they are best bunched together or not. #analyses might help out.

This makes it sound like the item itself is allowing Lele to switch moves.

The first bit was a relic from when scarf was slashed on the main set that I forgot to take out. Do get back to me about that though, since I wanted to put scarf at the beginning and I talked with some people on discord when they convinced me its kinda bad.
Otherwise I'll start implementing this stuff now.

I'm redoing the analysis to include a scarf set as it was approved by the QC team so things might look WIP for a bit.

edit: Finally took some time to sit down and add it. Should be ready to be checked again.

The overview feels somewhat empty and lacks a few good points for Lele.
Add a point talking about the multiple threats that Tapu Lele is able to check thanks to its psychic / fairy type combo. (Toxapex, Mega Sableye, Giratina etc)
The overview tries to showcase Tapu Lele as a terrain setters which is fine ofc but it also has a few niche outside of being used in Psyspam. The choice scarf set for example. It's able to revenge kill a few offensive threats that Xerneas and other choice scarf users aren't able to. I want to the overview to reflect this point.
Try to add a point that reflects Tapu Lele's utility moves like Nature's Madness, Taunt, and Aromatherapy since they are some good selling points.

* It is fairly frail; if something can outspeed it or take one or two of it's moves it can force Tapu Lele out.
You can write instead that it's overwhelmed by faster offensive threats. Give one or two examples.

In Usage Tips, talk about how you can lead with Tapu Lele and threaten MSab right away since they cannot use Fake Out. This is quite helpful if your SR setter struggles vs Mega Sableye. (Both sets)

QC 1/3 if you can implement these

In C&C list out all the relevant Steel-types that check Tapu Lele within the "Other Steel-types" section. If Yveltal is considered a Tapu Lele check based on how it may be able to switch into a Psychic-type attack and then revenge, Arceus-Dark is semi comparable as well.

Analysis seems to be mostly here otherwise.

[OVERVIEW]

* Tapu Lele's unique ability, Psychic Surge, allows it to support it's team by both preventing priority moves against frailer Pokemon and boosting certain Pokemon (such as Deoxys-A or Ultra Necrozma)'s powerful psychic type moves.
* Decent special attack Special Attack and speed Speed tier combined with a powerful ability allow it to function as an alright offensive threat outside of it's its support role.
* It's unique Psychic/Fairy typing along with the deadly combo of Taunt+Nature's Madness allow it Tapu Lele to support its team by forcing out certain passive threats which would give most teams trouble such as Giratina, Mega Sableye, Chansey(Consistency: Remove forward slash, add comma and a space)/, Blissey(AC), and Lugia.
* While it is mostly outclassed outside of teams which abuse Psychic Surge, a few niches such as being virtually immune to priority and possessing powerful Psychic STAB thanks to the terrain allows it to function outside of that by utilizing a Choice Scarf set.
* Tapu Lele's lack of bulk leads it to losing vs anything faster than it along with anything bulky enough to take one or two of it's its attacks provided it doesn't put it in range on the switch.
* While Nature's Madness hits things like Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM or other specially bulky Pokemon on the switch for 50%, you are forced out afterwards since your lack of bulk leads you to getting OHKOed or 2HKOed more often than not and a lot of these Pokemon possess recovery, allowing them to heal off the damage on the switch or attack if you decide to stay in and use Taunt.

Moves
========

* Psychic benefits from Psychic Surge and is Tapu Lele's strongest neutral attack, 2HKOing Primal Groudon, neutrally typed support Arceus after Stealth Rock (96.1% chance for neutral to Stealth Rock, 45.7% if they resist) and most Xerneas.
* Moonblast hits (AH)Dark-types like Yveltal which are immune to (AH)Psychic- and (AH)Dragon-types like Rayquaza, Ultra Necrozma, and Giratina-O harder than Psychic would.
* Nature's Madness hits bulky threats which take little damage from Tapu Lele's other attacks like (AH)Steel-types, Chansey(Consistency: Remove forward slash, add comma and a space)/, Blissey, and Ho-Oh, providing more chip damage for Tapu Lele's partners.
* Taunt blocks setup set up, hazard stacking, recovery and defog Defog, which is useful at shutting down support Pokemon and more passive threats. Can also be used on the recovery turn for Nature's Madness targets, but be careful for of threats which can KO Tapu Lele back such as Ho-Oh or defensive Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM.

Set Details
========

* The EVs and nature maximize Special Attack and Speed(AC), as investing in defenses isn't worth it and you'd want to outspeed as much as possible.
* Terrain Extender gives Tapu Lele 3 three more Psychic Terrain turns which it and its team can abuse.

Usage Tips
========

* As stated earlier(AC), Tapu Lele is frail, causing it to get 2HKOed or OHKOed by a lot of strong neutral attacks, so be careful switching it in.
* If you don't have an idea of what is going to come in, Nature's Madness is the simple solution as it hits anything for 50% and has no immunities.
* Utilize taunt and Nature's Madness to cripple and force out passive threats with few ways to deal direct damage such as Lugia, Chansey, and Blissey.
* If Tapu Lele's partner can sweep the opponents opposing team, you can sacrifice Tapu Lele to ensure Psychic Terrain is up and to give it's partner a chance to come in. Remember that Tapu Lele's main job is to support its team with Psychic Surge.
* While its physical bulk is terrible, it actually has enough special bulk to take a decent hit or two. For example, with no investment Tapu Lele survives a Dark Pulse from Timid 252 SpA Life Orb Yveltal after Stealth Rock.
* Tapu Lele is one of the best anti-leads versus Mega Sableye, preventing it from Mega Evolving due to possessing Fairy STAB and being immune to Fake Out, making it much harder for them to bring it in later. This set also has good matchups vs a lot of stall Pokemon in general due to Taunt combined with Nature's Madness ignoring their bulk.

Team Options
========

* Fast and powerful psychic types make obvious partners, the ideal ones being Deoxys-A with it's massive attacking stats, Psychic STAB(AC), and vulnerability to priority(AC), and as well as Ultra Necrozma with its overwhelmingly powerful Z move and access to Swords Dance. Other partners can be used(ASC); however, the only prerequisite being is having a powerful Psychic-type STAB.
* Tapu Lele cores usually only work on offensive builds due to lack of overall bulk and the offensive power awarded by Psychic Terrain(Comma splice: Remove comma and Add a Period),. however (AC)However, your build is usually different depending on which partners you choose due to them having specific checks unique to eachother each other.
* Sticky Web works wonders with Psychic Terrain, robbing the slowed Pokemon of their priority attacks and giving you a better chance to sweep. If you are not running Sticky Web, Magarena Magearna is almost a required team mate teammate due to it providing a hard answer to Xerneas and Yveltal.
* Magearna finds a lot of use on most of these kinds of teams as it hard checks most Yveltal and Xerneas sets, the most common Choice Scarf users, giving much more freedom for a Psychic Terrain abuser to wreak havoc.
* Primal Groudon beats Ferrothorn, Specially Defensive Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM, Magearna, and Celesteela(Consistency: Remove forward slash, add comma and a space)/,Skarmory, while Arceus-Ground beats Offensive Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM, Magearna, and Mega Lucario, all (AH)Steel-types which Tapu Lele and partners would want gone.
* Mega Salamence checks physical threats and (AH)Ground-types without Ice coverage both offensively and defensively with Intimidate and can threaten to sweep with Dragon Dance or remove hazards with Defog.
* Other fast but frail Pokemon can benefit from the priority nullifying properties of Psychic Terrain(Comma splice: Remove comma and Add a Period),. however (AC)However, it should be said that building too much around Psychic Surge can hamper your team if Tapu Lele is KOed early.
* U-turn support is not required by any means but can be useful for getting Tapu Lele in unscathed.
* Bulky Fairy types pair well with Tapu Lele and its typical partners as they can take hits from Yveltal and KO back.

Moves
========

* Psychic does around 50% to Primal Groudon and Support Arceus sets assuming a neutral type and is Tapu Lele's strongest move. Keep in mind that locking yourself into Psychic leaves you vulnerable to (AH)Dark-types such as Arceus-Dark and Yveltal. Psyshock can be run over this and preforms performs much the same function (AP). however (AC)However, you lose the 2HKOs in exchange for hitting Ho-Oh and Primal Kyogre harder.
* Moonblast hits (AH)Dark-types which are immune to Psychic and does more damage to (AH) Dragon-types along with having no immunities. A notable target is Yveltal which is OHKOed if it runs an offensive set and 2HKOed with a defensive one.
* Aromatherapy provides cleric support, which is useful on offensive teams to remove status which would otherwise cripple your team.
* Hidden Power Fire is arguably your best option for hitting (AH)Steel-types(Comma splice: Remove comma and Add a Period),. however (AC)However, most of them have the bulk to easily adsorb absorb it if they aren't already at low HP. Keep in mind that this move is weak against any other target and usually a bad idea to stay locked into, however.
* Nature's Madness can be run over Aromatherapy or Hidden Power Fire (AP). however (AC)However, keep in mind that it is impossible to get KOs if you're locked into it and it is overall less effective than on the other set.

Set Details
========

* 252 SpA and 252 Spe with a Timid nature allows you to maximize your damage output while managing to outspeed Choice Scarf Xerneas and Yveltal if they run Modest and you outspeed a +1 Rayquaza if it is Adamant while speed tying Jolly sets.
* Choice Scarf turns Tapu Lele into an effective revenge killer which has the perk of being practically immune to priority, allowing you to beat threats such as Mega Lucario, Rayquaza(AC), and Marshadow regardless of your current HP.
* This set can be compared to Choice Scarf Xerneas, however Tapu Lele has a few qualities which separate it from the deer including Psychic typing and Psychic Surge, letting it 2HKO Primal Groudon and do significantly more damage to neutral targets while rendering it immune to priority as long as it is up, allowing it to beat Mega Lucario and Marshadow easier, however it lacks Xerneas's bulk and resistances which let it switch in on Yveltal and more powerful Fairy STAB, for example you run shy of KOing Yveltal without Stealth Rock while Xerneas has no trouble doing the same.

Usage Tips
========

* Utilize this set to beat fast but frail Pokemon which would otherwise end up being an annoyance for your team such as Marshadow, setup sweepers with priority and +1 124 Spe Mega Salamence.
* Tapu Lele's lack of bulk means switching it into offensive moves is a risk. Try to switch on predicted priority moves, moves which don't deal damage such as Recover or a (AH)Dragon-type move, or after another Pokemon faints(Remove one of the two periods)..
* The support set can be faked which can end up surprising many would-be offensive checks such as Marshadow and netting a KO(Remove comma and Add a Period),. however (AC)However, keep in mind that this set can be revealed by Psychic Terrain lasting only 5 turns.
* Keep in mind that when you're using this set with a team designed around Psychic Terrain sacrificing it too early can end badly, as with the support set.
* The Mega Sableye point from the first set still stands here, allowing you to force it out in the lead matchup without letting it mega evolve(Remove comma and Add a Period),. however (AC)However, this set fairs worse against stall teams in general due to your inability to switch moves and not having the offensive power to blow through them with a single attack.

Team Options
========

* The loss of three Psychic Terrain turns hurts your team's ability to abuse it(Remove comma and Add a Period),. however (AC)However, a Psychic Terrain core is still possible and it also allows the typical partners to operate more freely(Remove comma and Add a period),. for example (AC)For example, Deoxys-A can run Extreme Speed without it being a dead move most of the time.
* Pokemon which fit with the above set also work with this set, however like the terrain abusers they may be played differently. For example, Magearna has some pressure taken off of it as you tend to beat Yveltal and Xerneas one on one provided you select the correct move and your Ground type should be switched in more as this set is even worse against Steel types.
* This set typically fits on Psychic Terrain builds which would appreciate a decently powerful Fairy type revenge killer but can't spare a slot for Choice Scarf Xerneas. It can be run on its own without building around Psychic Terrain but Xerneas is usually the better pick for its superior bulk and better coverage on it's its primary STAB.
* Choice Scarf makes you lose the ability to check things like Chansey, Blissey(AC), and Lugia so checks to those kinds of threats should be run as well.
* Abusing this set's ability to revenge kill powerful priority users lets it support its team by removing things such as Marshadow or even boosted Mega Lucario provided you don't get KOed coming in, something even Choice Scarf Xerneas has trouble with.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* Shadow Ball is a decent option to OHKO rare Lunala after Stealth Rock and do more damage to Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM but is generally useless otherwise.
* Grass Knot finds a use on the Choice Scarf set because it 2HKOs Arceus-Water and Arceus-Ground, does more damage to Primal Kyogre and is a decent option for hitting Primal Groudon outside of terrain but other than that it doesn't do much.
* Psychinum Z can be used as an offensive nuke to destroy some common switch-ins however Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM still practically no-sells the attack and can recover off the damage.
* An offensive Calm Mind set can work but even with Calm Mind(AC), it can't break past most bulky steel types.
* Focus Blast can be used on the Choice Scarf set over Hidden Power Fire as it does more damage to Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM and most other (AH) Steel-types(Remove comma and Add a Period),. however (AC)However, the accuracy can be infuriating and the narrow target range lets HP Hidden Power Fire be the preferred choice most of the time.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM**: Tapu Lele's STAB attacks are rendered impotent against Dusk Mane Necrozma's Necrozma-DM's bulk, Sunsteel Strike will OHKO no matter what, and it possesses recovery in Morning Sun which allows it to mitigate Nature's Madness.

**Other (AH)Steel-Types**: Most (AH)Steel-types either possess the speed Speed to outspeed and KO Tapu Lele outright or possess enough bulk and 2x and sometimes even 4x resistances to Tapu Lele's moves barring Nature's Madness. For example, Ferrothorn and Celesteela can either set up or OHKO with Steel STAB, Mega Lucario outspeeds and OHKOs with Meteor Mash(AP). however (AC)However, it loses to Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, Magarena Magearna laughs at any of its moves, etc. Even the less viable (AH)Steel-types like Mega Metagross or Arceus-Steel can easily dispose of Tapu Lele due to outspeeding and resisting its STABs.

**Ho-Oh**: Ho-Oh takes all of Tapu Lele's attacks, can OHKO or 2HKO back, and can abuse Regenerator to bypass Taunt if Stealth Rock isn't up.

**Mega Gengar**: Mega Gengar can come in on everything barring Psychic and traps Tapu Lele, easily OKHOing with Sludge Wave.

**Primal Kyogre**: Primal Kyogre has enough special Special bulk to withstand any of Tapu Lele's moves and can easily OHKO with Water STAB but it lacks recovery, allowing it to be worn down.

**(AH)Dark-Types**: Yveltal and Arceus-Dark naturally outspeed Tapu Lele and are immune to Psychic, however Yveltal can't OHKO without Stealth Rock unless it is using Choice Specs and has a chance to be OHKOed by Moonblast even without Stealth Rock while Arceus-Dark tends to fair better due to better bulk, however it is 2HKOed as well and doesn't OHKO in return.

**Faster Pokemon**: Tapu Lele's lack of bulk lends it to getting itself itself to getting OHKOed or 2HKOed by any offensive threat faster than it(Remove comma and Add a Period),. however (AC)However, most of these Pokemon are frail as well, leading to Tapu Lele 2HKO or OHKOing them if you utilize the Choice Scarf set or the speed Speed advantage is otherwise lost.

* Utilize this set to beat fast but frail Pokemon which that would otherwise end up being an annoyance for your team such as Marshadow, setup sweepers with priority,(AC) and +1 124 Speed Mega Salamence.
* Tapu Lele's lack of bulk means switching it into offensive moves is a risk. Try to switch on predicted priority moves, on moves which that don't deal damage such as Recover or a (AH)Dragon-type move, or after another Pokemon faints(Remove one of the two periods)..
* The support set can be faked,(AC) which can end up surprising many would-be offensive checks such as Marshadow and netting a KO(Remove comma and Add a Period),. however (AC)However, keep in mind that this set can be revealed by Psychic Terrain lasting only 5 turns.
* Keep in mind that when you're using this set with a team designed around Psychic Terrain,(AC) sacrificing it Tapu Lele too early can end badly,(RC) as with the support set.
* The Mega Sableye point from the first set still stands here, allowing you to force it Tapu Lele can force Mega Sableye (cross-referencing) out in the lead matchup without letting it Mega Evolve(Remove comma and Add a Period),. however (AC)However, this set fairs worse against stall teams in general due to your its inability to switch moves and not having the offensive power to blow through them with a single attack.

Team Options
========

* The loss of three Psychic Terrain turns hurts your team's ability to abuse take advantage of it(Remove comma and Add a Period),. however (AC)However, a Psychic Terrain core is still possible and it also allows the typical partners to operate more freely(Remove comma and Add a period),. for example (AC)For example, Deoxys-A can run Extreme Speed without it being a dead useless move most of the time.
* Pokemon which that fit with the above support set also work with this set,(RC);(SC) however,(AC) like the terrain abusers they may be played differently. For example, Magearna has some pressure taken off of it,(AC) as you Tapu Lele tends to beat Yveltal and Xerneas one-(AH)on-(AH)one provided you select it uses the correct moves,(AC) and your a Ground-(AH)type teammate should be switched in more,(AC) as this set is even worse against Steel-(AH)types.
* This set typically fits on Psychic Terrain builds which that would appreciate a decently powerful Fairy-(AH)type revenge killer but can't spare a slot for Choice Scarf Xerneas. It Choice Scarf Tapu Lele can be run on its own without building around Psychic Terrain,(AC) but Xerneas is usually the better pick for its superior bulk and better coverage on it's its primary STAB move.
* Choice Scarf makes you Tapu Lele lose the ability to check things Pokemon like Chansey, Blissey(AC), and Lugia,(AC) so checks to those kinds of threats should be run as well.
* Abusing Utilizing this set's ability to revenge kill powerful priority users lets it support its team by removing things such as Marshadow or and even boosted Mega Lucario provided you don't Tapu Lele doesn't get KOed coming in, something even Choice Scarf Xerneas has trouble with.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* Shadow Ball is a decent option to OHKO the rare Lunala after Stealth Rock and do more damage to Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM but is generally useless otherwise.
* Grass Knot finds a use on the Choice Scarf set because it 2HKOes Arceus-Water and Arceus-Ground, does more damage to Primal Kyogre,(AC) and is a decent option for hitting Primal Groudon outside of Terrain,(AC) but other than that it doesn't do much.
* Psychinum Psychium Z can be used as for an offensive nuke to destroy some common switch-ins,(AC) but however Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM still practically no-sells takes little damage from the attack and can recover off the damage.
* An offensive Calm Mind set can work,(AC) but even with Calm Mind(AC), it can't break past most bulky steel types Steel-types.
* Focus Blast can be used on the Choice Scarf set over Hidden Power Fire,(AC) as it does more damage to Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM and most other (AH) Steel-types(Remove comma and Add a Period),. however (AC)However, the accuracy can be infuriating and the narrow target range lets makes HP Hidden Power Fire be the preferred choice most of the time.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM**: Tapu Lele's STAB attacks are rendered impotent against Dusk Mane Necrozma's Necrozma-DM's bulk, Sunsteel Strike will OHKO no matter what, and it Necrozma-DM possesses recovery in Morning Sun,(AC) which allows it to mitigate Nature's Madness.

**Other (AH)Steel-types**: Most (AH)Steel-types either possess the speed Speed to outspeed and KO Tapu Lele outright or possess enough bulk and 2x and sometimes even 4x resistances to resist Tapu Lele's moves barring Nature's Madness. For example, Ferrothorn and Celesteela can either set up or OHKO Tapu Lele with Steel STAB moves, Mega Lucario outspeeds and OHKOes with Meteor Mash but (AP). however (AC)However, it loses to Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, and Magarena Magearna laughs at any of its moves,(RC) etc. Even the less viable (AH)Steel-types like Mega Metagross or and Arceus-Steel can easily dispose of Tapu Lele due to outspeeding it and resisting its STABs STAB moves.

**Ho-Oh**: Ho-Oh takes all of Tapu Lele's attacks, can OHKO or 2HKO back, and can abuse utilize Regenerator to bypass Taunt if Stealth Rock isn't up.

**Mega Gengar**: Mega Gengar can come in on everything barring Psychic and traps Tapu Lele, easily OKHOing OHKOing it with Sludge Wave.

**Primal Kyogre**: Primal Kyogre has enough special Special ("special" was correct) bulk to withstand any of Tapu Lele's moves and can easily OHKO with Water STAB moves,(AC) but it lacks recovery, allowing it to be worn down.

**(AH)Dark-types**: Yveltal and Arceus-Dark naturally outspeed Tapu Lele and are immune to Psychic,(RC).(period) However,(AC) Yveltal can't OHKO without Stealth Rock unless it is using Choice Specs and has a chance to be OHKOed by Moonblast even without Stealth Rock,(AC) while Arceus-Dark tends to fair better due to better bulk, however it is 2HKOed as well and doesn't OHKO in return,(AC) though it tends to fair better due to better bulk.

**Faster Pokemon**: Tapu Lele's lack of bulk lends it to getting itself itself to getting OHKOed or 2HKOed by any offensive threat faster than it(Remove comma and Add a Period),. however (AC)However, most of these Pokemon are frail as well, leading to meaning Tapu Lele can 2HKO or OHKOing OHKO them if you utilize using the Choice Scarf set,(AC) as otherwise or the speed Speed advantage is otherwise lost.

The Dovahneer I have combined the changes as if they were one check below. You would have an easier time implementing this one:
[OVERVIEW]

* Tapu Lele's unique ability,(RC) Psychic Surge,(RC) allows it to support it's its team by both preventing priority moves against frailer Pokemon and boosting powerful Psychic-type moves for certain Pokemon (such as Deoxys-A or Ultra Necrozma)'s powerful psychic type moves such as Deoxys-A and Ultra Necrozma.
* Its unique Psychic / Fairy typing along with the deadly combination of Taunt + Nature's Madness allows Tapu Lele to support its team by forcing out certain passive threats that would give most teams trouble such as Giratina, Mega Sableye, Chansey, Blissey, and Lugia.
* A decent special attack Special Attack stat and speed Speed tier combined with a powerful ability allow it to function as an alright a decent offensive threat outside of it's its support role.
* It's unique Psychic/Fairy typing along with the deadly combo of Taunt+Nature's Madness allow it Tapu Lele to support its team by forcing out certain passive threats which would give most teams trouble such as Giratina, Mega Sableye, Chansey/Blissey and Lugia. (this bullet should be put above the previous one, since it's still talking about Tapu Lele's supporting qualities and not its offensive presence)
* While it is mostly outclassed outside of teams which abuse that take advantage of ("abuse" isn't allowed) Psychic Surge, a few niches such as being virtually immune to priority and possessing powerful Psychic STAB attacks thanks to the Terrain allow it to function outside of that by utilizing a Choice Scarf set.
* When compared to Choice Scarf Xerneas; Choice Scarf Tapu Lele can deal significantly more damage to neutral targets, render itself immune to priority with Psychic Terrain, and beat Mega Lucario and Marshadow more easily, but it has less bulk and weaker Fairy STAB moves, meaning it doesn't beat Yveltal as easily. (see set details for choice scarf set)
* Tapu Lele's lack of bulk leads it to losing vs makes it lose against anything faster than it along with and anything bulky enough to take one or two of it's its attacks provided it Tapu Lele doesn't put it in range on the switch.
* While Nature's Madness hits things Pokemon like Dusk Mane Necrozma or Necrozma-DM and other specially bulky Pokemon on the switch for 50%, you are Tapu Lele is forced out afterwards,(AC) since your its lack of bulk leads you to leaves it getting OHKOed or 2HKOed more often than not and a lot of these Pokemon possess recovery, allowing them to heal off the damage on the switch or attack if you decide to stay in and use Taunt.

Moves

* Psychic benefits from Psychic Surge and is Tapu Lele's strongest neutral attack, 2HKOing Primal Groudon, neutrally typed support Arceus formes hit neutrally by it after Stealth Rock,(AC) (96.1% chance for neutral to Stealth Rock, 45.7% if they resist) (the important part is it 2HKOing, not the actual percents) and most Xerneas.
* Moonblast hits Dark-(AH)types like Yveltal,(AC) which are immune to Psychic,(AC) and Dragon-(AH)types like Rayquaza, Ultra Necrozma, and Giratina-O harder than Psychic would.
* Nature's Madness hits bulky threats which that take little damage from Tapu Lele's other attacks like Steel-(AH)types, Chansey,(AC)/ Blissey (Consistency: Remove forward slash, add comma and a space), and Ho-Oh, providing more chip damage for Tapu Lele's partners.
* Taunt blocks setup, hazard stacking, recovery,(AC) and defog Defog, which is useful at shutting down support Pokemon and more passive threats. Taunt can also be used on the recovery turn for Nature's Madness targets, but be careful for of threats which that can KO Tapu Lele back such as Ho-Oh or and defensive Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM.

Set Details
========

* The EVs and nature maximize Special Attack and Speed,(AC) as investing in defenses isn't worth it and you'd Tapu Lele wants to outspeed as much as possible.
* Terrain Extender gives Tapu Lele 3 three more Psychic Terrain turns which that it and its team can abuse utilize.

Usage Tips
========

* As stated earlier,(AC) Tapu Lele is frail, causing it to get 2HKOed or OHKOed by a lot of strong neutral attacks, so be careful switching it in.
* If you don't have an idea of what foe is going to come in, Nature's Madness is the simple solution,(AC) as it hits anything for 50% and has no immunities Pokemon are immune to it.
* Utilize Taunt and Nature's Madness to cripple and force out passive threats with few ways to deal direct damage such as Lugia, Chansey, and Blissey.
* If Tapu Lele's partner can sweep the opponents opposing team, you can sacrifice Tapu Lele to ensure Psychic Terrain is up and to give it's its partner a chance to come in. Remember that Tapu Lele's main job is to support its team with Psychic Surge.
* While its physical bulk is terrible, it actually has enough special bulk to take a decent hit or two. For example, with no investment,(AC) Tapu Lele survives a Dark Pulse from Timid 252 SpA Life Orb Yveltal after Stealth Rock.
* Tapu Lele is one of the best anti-leads versus Mega Sableye, preventing it from Mega Evolving due to possessing Fairy STAB moves and being immune to Fake Out, making it much harder for them the opponent to bring it in later. This set also has good matchups vs versus a lot of stall Pokemon in general due to Taunt combined with Nature's Madness ignoring their bulk.

Team Options
========

* Tapu Lele cores usually only work on offensive builds due to lack of overall bulk and the offensive power awarded by Psychic Terrain. However, your build is usually different depending on which partners you choose due to them having specific checks unique to each other.
* Fast and powerful psychic types Psychic-types make obvious partners, with the ideal ones being Deoxys-A with it's its massive attacking stats, Psychic STAB moves,(AC) and vulnerability to priority and Ultra Necrozma with its overwhelmingly powerful Z-(AH)Move and access to Swords Dance. Other partners can be used;(SC) however, the only prerequisite being is having a powerful Psychic-type STAB move.
* Tapu Lele cores usually only work on offensive builds due to lack of overall bulk and the offensive power awarded by Psychic Terrain, however your build is usually different depending on which partners you choose due to them having specific checks unique to eachother. (the grammatical changes from the amcheck were correct, but moving this to the first bullet makes the section flow better)
* Magearna finds a lot of use on most teams Tapu Lele is on, as it hard checks Yveltal and Xerneas, the most common Choice Scarf users, giving much more freedom for a teammate that utilizes Psychic Terrain to wreak havoc.

(better flow)
* Primal Groudon beats Ferrothorn, specially defensive Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM, Magearna, and Celesteela,(AC) and/ (Consistency: Remove forward slash, add comma and a space) Skarmory, while Arceus-Ground beats offensive Dusk Mane Necrozma Necrozma-DM, Magearna, and Mega Lucario, all Steel-(AH)types which that Tapu Lele and its partners would want gone.
* Mega Salamence checks physical threats and Ground-(AH)types without Ice coverage both offensively and defensively with Intimidate and can threaten to sweep with Dragon Dance or remove entry hazards with Defog.
* Other fast but frail Pokemon can benefit from the priority-(AH)nullifying properties of Psychic Terrain.(period),(RC) however However,(AC) (Comma splice) it should be said that building too much around Psychic Surge can hamper your team if Tapu Lele is KOed early.
* U-turn support is not required by any means but can be useful for getting Tapu Lele in unscathed.
* Bulky Fairy-(AH)types pair well with Tapu Lele and its typical partners,(AC) as they can take hits from Yveltal and KO back.

Moves
========

* Psychic does around 50% to Primal Groudon and support Arceus sets assuming a neutral type formes hit neutrally by it and is Tapu Lele's strongest move. Keep in mind that locking yourself being locked into Psychic leaves you Tapu Lele vulnerable to Dark-(AH)types such as Arceus-Dark and Yveltal. Psyshock can be run over this instead and preforms performs with much the same function.(period) However,(AC) however you Tapu Lele loses the aforementioned 2HKOs in exchange for hitting Ho-Oh and Primal Kyogre harder.
* Moonblast hits Dark-(AH)types,(AC) which are immune to Psychic,(AC) and does more damage to Dragon-(AH)types,(AC) and no Pokemon is immune to it along with having no immunities. A notable target is Yveltal,(AC) which is OHKOed if it runs an offensive set and 2HKOed with a defensive one.
* Aromatherapy provides cleric support, which is useful on offensive teams to remove status which would otherwise cripple your team.
* Hidden Power Fire is arguably your Tapu Lele's best option for hitting Steel-(AH)types,(RC).(period) however However,(AC) most of them have the bulk to easily adsorb absorb it if they aren't already at low HP. Keep in mind that this move is weak against any other target and usually a bad idea to stay locked into,(RC) however.
* Nature's Madness can be run over Aromatherapy or Hidden Power Fire.(period) however However,(AC) keep in mind that it is impossible to get KOs if you're Tapu Lele is locked into it and it is overall less effective on this set than on the other set.

Set Details

* 252 SpA and 252 Spe Maximum Special Attack and Speed investment with a Timid nature allows you Tapu Lele to maximize your its damage output while managing to and outspeed neutral-natured Choice Scarf Xerneas and Yveltal if they run Modest and you outspeed a and neutral-natured +1 Rayquaza if it is Adamant while Speed tying with Jolly sets.
* Choice Scarf turns Tapu Lele into an effective revenge killer which that has the perk of being practically immune to priority, allowing you it to beat threats such as Mega Lucario, Rayquaza,(AC) and Marshadow regardless of your its current HP.
(comparing two mons shouldn't be happening in set details. I moved it to the overview and tried to condense it)

Set Details
========

* Maximum Special Attack and Speed investment with a Timid nature allows Tapu Lele to maximize its damage output and outspeed neutral-natured Choice Scarf Xerneas and Yveltal and you outspeed as well as a neutral-natured +1 Rayquaza while Speed tying with Jolly sets.
* Choice Scarf turns Tapu Lele into an effective revenge killer that has the perk of being practically immune to priority, allowing it to beat threats such as Mega Lucario, Rayquaza, and Marshadow regardless of its current HP.

Usage Tips
========

* The Mega Sableye point from the first set still stands here, Tapu Lele makes a great anti-lead to Mega Sableye, allowing you being able (no cross-set referencing) to force it out in the lead matchup without letting it Mega Evolve; (SC) however, (AC) this set fairs fares worse against stall teams in general due to its inability to switch moves and not having lack of the offensive power to blow through them with a single attack.

Team Options
========

* The loss of three Psychic Terrain turns hurts your team's ability to take advantage of it. However, a Psychic Terrain core is still possible and allows the typical partners to operate more freely. For example, Deoxys-A can run Extreme Speed without it being a useless move most of the time.
* Pokemon that fit with the above set also work with this set; (SC) however, (AC) (no cross-set referencing, standard policy in case the above set gets axed / edited, you'll have to mention them again) they may be played differently.
* Choice Scarf makes Tapu Lele lose the ability to check things foes like Chansey, Blissey ,and Lugia, so checks to those kinds of threats should be run as well.
* Urilizing This set's ability to revenge kill powerful priority users lets it support its team by removing things foes such as Marshadow and even boosted Mega Lucario provided Tapu Lele doesn't get KOed coming in, something even Choice Scarf Xerneas has trouble with.

Other Options
=============

* An offensive Calm Mind set can work, but even with Calm Mind, it Tapu Lele can't break past most bulky Steel-types.

===================

**Other Steel-types**: Most Steel-types either possess the Speed to outspeed and KO Tapu Lele outright or possess enough bulk to resist easily take Tapu Lele's moves barring Nature's Madness.

**Faster Pokemon**: Tapu Lele's lack of bulk lends itself leads to it getting OHKOed or 2HKOed by any offensive threat faster than it. However, most of these Pokemon are frail as well, meaning Tapu Lele can 2HKO or OHKO them if using the Choice Scarf set, as otherwise the Speed advantage is lost.
