Cat (Weavile) (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- Taunt
- Night Slash
- Ice Shard

My lead, the fastest fake out in game is quite nice so I always break oposing focus sashes, taunt is awesome and my favourite move in the game so it has to be there to stop stealth rock. Ice shard kills aerodactyl and dragons (the annoying dragon dancers and scarfers) and night slash is a mandatory stab move. Should I go with pursuit over night slash? Lead Azelfs and gengars rarely switch out though.

Leviathan (Gyarados) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 156 HP/108 Atk/100 Def/144 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Stone Edge
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance
- Taunt

Bulky physical sweeper. Has survived thunderpunches and thunderbolts. Deals with stall teams. Often 6-0s.

Kangaroo (Breloom) (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 44 HP/252 Atk/212 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Spore

Annoyer. I keep him hidden until I've removed the faster opponent's pokemon so he sweeps easily. Can even beat gengar 1 on 1 with spore spamming and leech seed. I dunno if I should be proud of that.

Ball (Gengar) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Trick
- Focus Blast

Deals with celebi and lucario. Trick is for the lovely Blissey or Snorlax switch ins.

Frog (Swampert) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpA
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Beam
- Roar

My stealth rocker and shuffler, Has only defensive evs because I only attack with him for super efective damage.

Robot (Magnezone) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 172 HP/84 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power [Ground]

Deals with steels, thunderbolt and flash cannon are it's most powerfull attacks and hidden power ground may seem strange but the major reason it died are opposing magnezones, ohkos heatran too which is nice, also kills electrics which resist the other 2 attacks. After killing a steel it's nice to always have a substitute up. Deals with mid outrage salamence should Weavile die to early.

Threat list:
Aerodactyl: Fake out, Ice shardx2
Alakazam: never seen one, Night slash would probably do wonders
Azelf: Fake out, Night slash, most people hope they'll outspeed Weavile and keep him in
Blissey: Taunt with Gyarados and a free Dragon dance, Trick
Breloom: Ice shard or Taunt with Gyarados
Bronzong: Taunt, and the explosion rarely kills Gyarados
Celebi: Weavile or Gengar, it does cause some problems though
Cresselia: Anything on the team
Dragonite: Gyarados or Weavile
Dusknoir: Gyarados or Weavile
Electivire: Swampert
Empoleon: Breloom pre agility, Magnezone and Gengar after
Flygon: Weavile, Gyarados
Forretress: Magnezone, Gyarados
Gengar: Gengar, Weavile
Gliscor: Gyarados, Weavile
Gyarados: Gyarados, Magnezone, Gengar
Heatran: Gyarados
Heracross: Gyarados
Hippowdon. Gyarados, Breloom
Infernape: Gyarados if it has grass knot, Swampert if it has thunderpunch
Jirachi: Magnezone can take iron head and thanks the choice scarf
Jolteon: Swampert if it doesn't have hp grass, magnezone otherwise
Kingdra: taunt the dd, rd, anyone on the team
Latias: Weavile, Magnezone
Lucario: Gyarados, Swampert
Machamp: Gyarados, Gengar if it's choiced
Magnezone: Magnezone, Swampert
Mamoswine: Gyarados
Metagross: Gyarados, Breloom
Ninjask: Fake out, Ice shardx2
Porygon-Z: Magnezone, Swampert
Rhyperior: Gengar, Gyarados
Rotom-A: Magnezone or Swampert
Salamence: Weavile or Gyarados
Scizor: If it's locked into bullet punch, magnezone, gyarados otherwise
Skarmory: Magnezone, Gyarados
Smeargle: Taunt or fake out and ice shard
Snorlax: Breloom
Starmie: Gengar, Weavile, Magnezone
Suicune: Breloom, Magnezone, Gengar
Swampert: Gyarados, Breloom
Tentacruel: Anything
Togekiss: Anything on the team but Breloom
Tyranitar: Gyarados, Swampert, Breloom
Umbreon: Taunt
Vaporeon: Taunt, Magnezone, Gengar
Weavile: Anything on the team but Gengar and Breloom
Zapdos: Swampert, but it's hard

After writing the threat list it became obvious to me that my team is to much gyarados centralized and that the most loses I got were when my gyarados died early in the game, is there a way to solve this?

Problems:

Moveset selection

How to fix:

Since I can't find any glaring weakness, I'll probably just comment on some moveset selections. Firstly, I think Gengar wants the moveset Shadow Ball / Thunderbolt / Focus Blast / Trick. Focus Blast is so important because it allows you to hit opposing Tyranitar's lategame and Lucario as well because Thunderbolt will not kill it. Sludge Bomb is just a bad idea overall because this tier lacks some Grass-types. Secondly, I think you might want to aim for Ice Beam instead of Surf for Swampert, to give a good overall coverage. Or you might even want to try HP Electric, if your really confident that Weavile and Gyarados will check Salamence. Overall, you might want to change the EV spread to 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 SpA on MixPert to get the best out of phazing. Overall great team.

Hello.

Despite what you think, Gyarados does not handle stall teams. Infact, most stall carries both Rotom-h and Starmie, which both stop your Gyarados rather cold. After that you have nothing that can immediately threaten stall besides maybe trapping Forretress with Magnezone, but by the time you switch in your opponent will have a layer of Spikes/Toxic Spikes and Magnezone's Thunderbolt does not 2HKO SDef heavy Forretress that stall often uses. I don't really think Breloom has any merit in the team other than helping with Tar and annoying your opponent. If you want to give stall a heart attack, use Roost MixMence. Mixmence also helps against the ever annoying Lucario and Gyarados + MixMence is an excellent combination in general.

Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 52 Def/204 Spd/252 SAtk
Rash nature (+SAtk, -SDef)
- Brick Break
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Roost

I don't really like Weavile as a lead either. Losing to the most common lead (Metagross) is not something your lead should be doing. It doesn't really help that you have to predict around Lead Gross after Weavile switches out since your only immediate switch ins (Gyara/Pert) both die to Explosion and Gengar dies to Meteor Mash, which is your Explosion immunity. The only way I could really see you being able to keep Weavile as a lead would be to use Scarf Rotom-h over Gengar. You gain a steel resists, a Metagross/Scizor counter in a pinch, and a much safer way to deal with Swords Dance Lucario. Rotom can also screw Blissey over with Trick just as easily as Gengar. I have also found Rotom to be a much better switch into fighters/grounds than Gengar, seeing as Gengar is very frail.

Good luck sir.

I have to agree with the suggestion august made. The first thought that crossed my mind when looking at this team : How does it beat stall? It looks like it can match up to opposing offensive teams decently enough to compete. I would try that mixmence somewhere on your team.

You lack great switch ins to most types Latias and Salamence. Swampert works... but he needs help because he can't take repeated assaults in a dragon heavy metagame. Magnezone is a helpful resistance, but not the best option in my mind. I don't see what he is helping set up for your team. The best thing he does is trap Forry/Skarm to prevent them from setting up too many layers of spikes to wreck your team, but nothing in your team abuses the fact that you can trap steels and get rid of them. I would consider a bulky Metagross to trap and Pursuit Latias. A variant running 252 HP / 176 + Special Defense / 80 Attack (Adamant nature) with moves like Pursuit/Explosion/Ice Punch/(Bullet Punch) helps give you a solid Outrage resistance (with the ability to KO Salamence back with Ice punch, you can swap in, trap, and Pursuit/Ice Punch any Latias that would give you trouble otherwise. Explosion is always nice as an ending move, bullet punch can give you a priority move in a pinch if you go with that as your last move as well. Earthquake is an ok option for a move somewhere too.

Good luck
