Yeah, this is team LOL. Don't ask why, I just wanted a nice attention getter. Anyway, hi! This is my second RMT and I have to say, this team is pretty good. I need to replace a few members though, but yeah, that's what you guys are for. Anyway, here's the team:
At a Glance:
The Lead:
Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Jolly - Serene Grace
80 HP/252 Atk/176 Spe
-Trick
-U-Turn
-Iron Head
-Stealth Rock
Everyone knows how this thing works. On slower leads I usually Trick and then set up SR, but on faster frailer leads, such as Azelf and Aero, I can afford to easily 2HKO with flinches. U Turn is a great scouting move. This is one of my two fire weaknesses, which I don't like, but I don't know any other lead (besides Metagross) who can do the job well. Also, Jirachi can come back later in the game to flinch people to death with Iron Head, almost in a revenge killer way.
The Spooky Kid:
Gengar @ Life Orb
Timid - Levitate
252 SpA/252 Spe/4 HP
-Substitute
-Shadow Ball
-HP Fire 70
-Focus Blast/Thunderbolt
Gengar is great. I come in and Sub while I scare something away. When Scizor comes to Pursuit me, I easily OHKO with HP Fire. He also serves as a great Lucario check because no Lucario (bar Agility) outspeeds me and I have HP Fire. Focus Blast is better for Blissey and T-tar, but my team has a problem with bulky waters, so T-bolt is an option. I don't know if I should stick with a standard Gengar set because of both Focus Blast and T-bolt, because I already get fire coverage from Infernape.
The Rabid Monkey:
Infernape @ Life Orb
Naive - Blaze
64 Atk/252 Spa/192 Spe
-HP Ice 70
-Flamethrower
-Close Combat
-Grass Knot
Infernape is one of the better wall breakers I have used. He packs a lot of power while still being able to change moves. Some of his common counters, like Gliscor, Salamence, and Dragonite are all OHKO'd by HP Ice. He can OHKO most Pokemon I've seen, but his frailty means that he's not going to last long. Latias and Infernape do really well together, because Infernape can come in and Grass Knot the coming Ground type, and Latias can take the EQ and finish the counter off. Then Infernape can sweep.
The Happy Dragon:
Latias @ Leftovers
Timid - Levitate
252 HP/252 Spe/4 SpA
-Calm Mind
-Dragon Pulse
-Surf
-Recover
WalLatias is really underrated. You need to keep a Timid nature to speed tie other Latias, but it works well nonetheless. I set up on all of Latias' counters and get to +6, and I usually land a sweep. She's the much needed Fire resist. I only die if someone gets a critical hit or freezes me with Ice Beam. A +6 Dragon Pulse tears into everything, even without SpA investment. Surf is for anything else, such as Heatran, who is important to keep away for the next guy.
The Metal Bug:
Scizor @ Leftovers
Adamant - Technician
248 HP/252 Atk/8 Spe
-Bullet Punch
-Swords Dance
-Brick Break
-Baton Pass
Baton Pass Scizor is a big surprise, as when people whittle my health down and I pass to a full health Extreme Speed Dragonite, there's not much they can do. He's also a decent revenge killer. He gets his own sweeps too, as while I'm setting up SDs for Dragonite, I can pick people off with Bullet Punch. I had Roost before Brick Break, but I find the extra coverage helpful.
Barney:
Dragonite @ Life Orb
Adamant - Inner Focus
252 HP/252 Atk/4 Def
-Dragon Dance
-ExtremeSpeed
-Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
Barney is a huge threat, capable of OHKOing a large part of the metagame with a +1 ExtremeSpeed or Dragon Claw. 252 HP is because Dragonite's bulk gets it more DDs than its speed does, and being able to survive many high powered attacks is a nice bonus. With 1 DD, it doesn't outspeed much because of the EVs/nature, so having the whole team pick of the things that would be able to outspeed and OHKO helps a lot.
Okay, thanks in advance for reading and rating. Help me out! =D
