Fuck I hate Tottenham. They have a reputation of being a "free scoring side" and apparently play a brand of football that's unmatched in the EPL. While we are boring, boring City with our 9 DM's and play with nothing but negativity. That would explain why we are ahead of them in the table and have scored 6 more goals to boot, right? Apparently all of Spurs' players are born and bred in their academy (and cost nothing) and play "for the honour and the club" while Man City is a team of heartless mercenaries that are just looking for a paycheck amirite?

I also resent Arsenal. I really, really, really fucking hope the two of them get absolutely thrashed in the second legs.

yup, Man City is full of souless money thieving bastards. Why the fuck else would anyone play for such a manufactured side other than a paycheck? just look at Tevez's plight..

lol Bale / Modric / Van Der Vart are going to jump at any opportunity they get from any european giants that will increase their wages and will shit all over the spurs logo. i fucking hate tottenham too.. bunch of lucky bastards

apparently Carroll is gonna face man utd at anfield for his first match. get ready to get smashed like two seasons ago (1-4 at old trafford ROFL) phalanx

Yes, you are right. City went and parked a bus in front of Arsenal. And some other times this season. Spurs went and fucked Inter Milan and AC Milan with their attacking football. Manchester City have literally bought a whole new team, and have chucked out the academy products(Ireland etc.). Spurs have bought... van der Vaart.

Although I will give Man City credit, they really took the game to United in the derby and only some excellent defending by Vidic and Smalling kept United in it.

Well. Yeah. Man City are chav scum. Like Chelsea.

man city didnt deserve to score in the derby. fact
Bale will not be at spurs for too long.. especially if he is still there when giggs hangs up his boots :P
carrol, what a waste of money :P
hope owen scores the winning goal at the kop :P

man city deserved to win the derby /fact

The quality of defending from Smalling and Vidic was better than the quality shown by Tevez/Dzeko. Only Silva really posed a threat, and he didn't take that glorious opportunity in the 3rd minute. After that United deserved to win, especially because of the wonderful goal.

can people stop fucking romanticising the crawley-man utd game? OH THE MAGIC OF A NONLEAGUE TEAM AGAINST ONE OF THE BIGGEST CLUBS IN THE COUNTRY, IT'S AMAZING, IT'S ROMANTIC
err no it's not. it's fucking crawley - man city/chelsea-lite.

i know, moneybags crawly hope fergie puts out the big guns and crushes them, and not a weakened side like against southamton

dzeco cost a lot of money for a goal that got a replay in the FA cup against lower league opposition :P

Well, I thought Anderlecht were the better team, actually. They could have easily had a few goals, but Stekelenburg is awesome and kept out everything :)

btw Eriksen is brilliant.

Anderlecht and Ajax were equal in the first half, and Ajax was much better in the second half, especially after Anderlecht defender Marcin Wasilewski missing the penalty.

You have watched the match. Or did you watch a summary?

I watched it and I was just blown away by Eriksen's performance! He's still 18 though, and even though I want him at Anfield, it would be best for him to stay at Ajax to keep developping.

I can see, Eriksen, Lukaku (Anderlecht) and Eden Hazard (Lille) being world-class players in future. and Belgium is the new Brazil :P

Good you watched. Belgiums best club against Netherlands former best club, Anderlecht - Ajax. Always a special match.

Eriksen was awesome, just like Stekelenburg. Ajax has some world-class players: at this moment Maarten Stekelenburg, Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen.

Ajax have always and will keep on producing world-class players, but it's a shame they haven't been able to keep them at the club or reinvest. Where does the money go?

Where the money goes: bad and expensive players (bad buys) and their way too high wages, and the corrupt chairmen Rik van den Boog. Ajax rarely buys an expensive good player who is a good player to replace the sold player, the chairman buys a cheap sucky player or buys nobody (then says the selection is good enough) to save money and get more money himself (corrupt ways of course). I really hope Rik van den Boog will be fired soon.

Ajax always sells the best players. That way they will never be champions again. If Ajax keeps them no matter what top clubs like Barca and AC Milan offer Ajax, they will get a star team and Ajax could be back to the European top. If Ajax didn't sell star players for the last 5 years, Ajax would've won the CL between 2005 and 2011.

Here a team I made of the best players since 2000 who are still active with their current football career, CL winning-worthy.

4-4-2

------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------Klaas Jan Huntelaar--Zlatan Ibrahimovic--------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------
--Luis Suárez C------------------------------------Rafael van der Vaart--
---------------Wesley Sneijder--------Nigel de Jong---------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------
--Thomas Vermaelen--Jan Vertonghen--John Heitinga--Hedwiges Maduro--
------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------Maarten Stekelenburg---------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Coach: Martin Jol.

Bench: Bogdan Lobont, Gregory van der Wiel, Toby Alderweireld, Gabri, Christian Eriksen, Mounir El Hamdaoui, Marko Pantelic.

See, a team that would win the CL and would be champion each year.

If Ajax didn't sell those players (except for Eriksen, VD Wiel, Alderweireld, El Hamdaoui, Stekelenburg and Vertonghen, who still play for Ajax, but they are probably set to leave next summer).

Everton, who were 75 seconds of going out in the FA cup 4th Round replay have taken it to penalties against Chelsea, with a stunning free kick from Leighton Baines which cancelled out Frank Lampard's 104th minute opener in Extra time after the match was 0-0 after the 90.

Penalties

Chelsea 1-0 Everton (Lampard)
Chelsea 1-0 Everton (Baines miss)
Chelsea 2-0 Everton (Drogba)
Chelsea 2-1 Everton (Jagielka)
Chelsea 2-1 Everton (Anelka miss)
Chelsea 2-2 Everton (Arteta)
Chelsea 3-2 Everton (Essien)
Chelsea 3-3 Everton (Heitinga)
Chelsea 3-3 Everton (Ashley Cole miss)
Chelsea 3-4 Everton (Phil Neville Scores)

Result:

Chelsea 1-1 Everton AET
Everton win 4-3 on penalties

Other Results- FA Cup 5th Round

Birmingham 3-0 Sheffield Wednesday
Stoke 3-0 Brighton

My team, Bolton, are playing away to Fulham tomorrow, after beating Wigan 1-0 at the DW Stadium in our 4th round replay after a goalless draw at The Reebok. Ivan Klasnic scored the only goal of the game after 66 minutes. Welsh international and Bolton's secondary right-back (to Gretar Rafn Steinsson, who's injured too) was strechered off after landing awkwardly attempting to tackle Wigan's Victor Moses. The latest news is that he has ruptrued his schilles and is out for the season. We are now entering a mini defensive crisis with only Gary Cahill, David Wheater, Paul Robinson and Marcos Alonso available. The former two are centre-backs while the latter 2 are left-backs. Paul Robinson will likely play at right-back as he did for part of the Wigan match when he switched from the left, as Marcos Alosno came on for Sam Ricketts.

Manchester United face Crawley Town in the FA Cup 5th round at Old Trafford in 45 minutes. Crawley Town are the only non-league side in the 5th round, and are 93 places below the premier league leaders. (They are in the 5th tier of English football for those of you who don't know).

United have made 10 changes from their last match, with only Anderson surviving from the 2-1 derby win over Manchester City last week. (Source BBC) More team news may come soon...

EDIT: Team news-
