the FA can do the exact same

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association for comments about referee Howard Webb.

basically this stems from a press conferance 2 days before the game, where ferguson said
We are getting the best referee, there is no doubt about that,
so you can't praise referees either? repsect campain? FA gtfo now

Well, I personally hate how Ferguson influences referee decisions. If he's satisfied with the referee then he should stfu next time and keep it to himself.

100% deserves an investigation.

what part of 'don't discuss referees before the game' is so hard for Fergie to understand?

what part of saying the ref is the best man for this match is discussing or disrespecting, the FA really need to quit with this joke of a respect campain, that is respect, players swearing at the referee week in week out get left alone.

yeah, i hate united, and I didnt read the exact comments that SAF made, but seriously this seems like a last desperate attempt for londoners on the FA to fuck with united.

Agreed, you can't just pick and choose, incidents... and in reality, ignore the most common ones [like you stated above]

My opinion is Ferguson should have chosen his words a little better because what he says can be interpreted as putting pressure on the referee ('getting a bad decision is our biggest fear...i hope it's out turn for a little luck' etc). Remember he hasn't been hit with any fines or bans yet - don't bitch about being harshly done by until then.

blackburn didn't seem to care after 1-1, could be thier downfal, with blackpool winning 4-3 and wolves winning 1-3 at sunderland.
blackpool win next week should see them safe as they would pass either wolves or blackburn

i have a soft spot for city for some reason.

maybe i have the 'my ennemy's ennemy is my friend' mentality.

i cry everytime i remember liverpool being linked with yaya toure in a swap deal for mascherano. we got poulsen as a replacement .-.

man city, bankrolled italian style bordem, stoke... long throw bordem, rather stoke won though because they havn't bought a mass of superstars

Man city have made their first purchase for x million pounds(too lazy to calc total $ of purchases), the FA cup.

next on the citeh shopping catalog: the premier league

I predicted stoke to win on penalties but eh, they got outplayed pretty bad.
