they didnt want anyone playing on the pitch 2 weeks before that game.. but play play off so close after.
the others are at old trafford

and the FA have warned ferguson and ancelotti for comments about howard webb :/ stupid FA get on with dealing with real problems

does it matter about after? if theyd only warned fergie you'd say they're picking on fergie. if they'd warned Ancelotti youd have had a go at chelsea. sigh

I'm going to Wembley with my non-football-interested best friend. GIRLS ON TOUR

meh europa league
i dont get annoyed at fergasun getting fined by the FA i get annoyed by it happening to anyone, the ruling is a joke

holloway ranting about the FA saying they will punish united if they field a weakened side, holloway was punished for such a thing earlier in the season... rather wrongly, how can losing 3-2 be a weakened side? what in thier rules is a weakened side anyway.

gotta love holloway :D

I'm going to the Manchester United vs Blackpool match on Sunday - I must admit, part of me wants Blackpool to win. They've been amazing for the Premier League, especially Ian, class man. Should be a fun day out, I'll get to see us lift that 19th League title whatever happens :)

I really hope Swansea make it to the Premier League, I've ended up watching a few of their games and I like how they play. I think they'd be similar to Blackpool in the Premier League. Good luck to them, and you akuchi :P hope you have a good day out at Wembley anyway.

Because making comments about a referee before a game can still be an attempt to influence the ref, even if the comments are ostensibly positive, how do you not see that? It's a perfectly sensible rule. I'm not massively enamoured of the FA but that's a totally legitimate rule

it should be a good day out! know a few of people going, but travelling/sitting alone which will be.. interesting. I'm shitting it tbh haha, but adventure adventure

its a stupid rule, what if the press asks about the referee? you can't say nothing, say bad things or good things. its rediculous and tbh its a respect rule, and the managers press talks are what gets focused on, not the swearing at the refs and officals from players/managers every weekend, nor is much done about the munich/hillsborough etc chants.
it doesnt matter if i see it or dont see it, there are more important things to worry about, refs dont get criticised when crap, they remain crap.
what are managers supposed to say when asked about the ref?
i want blackpool to stay up holloway is too funny to lose
and i want reading to go up

The idea that Fergie is just this benign old guy going round occasionally passing his opinion on the ref is ridiculous. He plays mind games, that's the whole point. Why would you want to comment on a referee if you weren't trying in some way to influence his performance? If asked by the press say 'no comment'. It's not rocket science.

I'm surprised you even know who's playing in the Championship playoff final, to be honest.

Relegation battles coming up, always nice to see it competitive down there instead of just 2 teams being horrible and 2-3 teams fighting to be 17 or above, unless you happen to be a fan of one of those teams.

the football fan in me wants blackpool to stay up, but i think they will go down alongside birmingham :(

as for the promotion stuff...dont really have anything to say because I havent watched Swansea or Reading this year, so i dont know enough about them. I'd prefer swansea to go up though if i had to choose one.

as for fergie, he plays so many mindgames that I sometimes have trouble figuring out when is he serious and when he is mind gaming. probably wanted to put some pressure on the ref to give man u a few more 50-50s.

i can tell you league 1 will be the league to watch next year ;)

some "big" teams in there next season, including local derbys and new found rivalrys

the FA have other things to sort out, they just take the lazy way out by punishing people for twitter/ managers conferances where evidence is easy to find and not the important stuff.

even if we get into the prem I'll still have loads of time for the championship, whilst obviously being in the prem is more important and better and money etc would be mint i'll definitely miss the fun of the championship, actually competing for something

Busy summer ahead for the king

expecting the following signings for a total of about 60 million:

IN:
A. Young (Aston Villa) [15] + Cahill (Bolton) [15] + Dzsudzsak (PSV) [10] + Enrique (Newcastle) [10] + Matuidi [10] (St Etienne) = 60

with some players sold like: aquilani [15] + Agger [15] + dead wood [8-10]

Edit: hope blackpool get relegated though, just because they did the double over us :(((((((((((((((((( (still mad about that), and i want wigan to survive (n'zogbia, rodallega, mccarthy, diame, al habsi, figueroa... good players :])

Blackpool 2-1 up pls dont choke this time.

EDIT: 1min later 2-2 >_>

Evatt own goal 3-2 Man U :(

4-2

Wigan score, Birmingham equalise so Wolves and Blackpool like like they will be going down. Table has changed so much in last 20mins.

Okay Arsenal.. time to get back that 3 spot.

good one

Aston Villa should have started to win earlier. Blackpool is save as long as they don't lose and two out of the three other teams (Wolves, Wigan, Birmingham) don't win. The Wolves are most likely out, and I don't think Birmingham will score two goals vs Tottenham now.

tl:dr I hope ManU doesn't score.

EDIT: 1min later 3-2 >_> (the worst minutes for Blackpool ever)

trust United to reign on the parade, even though they had nothing to play for and most the neutrals wanting blackpool to stay up. Can't wait for Barca to shut them up.
