[OVERVIEW]

This prehistoric fish wreaks havoc as a powerful attacker on sand teams! Its access to Fishious Rend allows it to heavily damage most of the tier as long as it's moving first, which Sand Rush makes significantly easier, allowing it to outspeed the entire tier under sand. Dracovish also has a decent defensive typing for an attacker of its caliber, able to switch in on attackers like Heatran and Metagross and survive a hit. However, Dracovish struggles to break past common Pokemon that resist Fishious Rend, mainly Rillaboom, which 2HKOes it while weakening Fishious Rend with priority Grassy Glide, and Tapu Fini and Kyurem-B, both which threaten to OHKO or 2HKO Dracovish after minimal chip damage. Volcanion can ignore Dracovish locked into FIshious Rend entirely with Water Absorb, either attempting to burn Dracovish or attacking its partner. In addition, Dracovish heavily relies on sand to maintain a strong offensive presence, as its damage is utterly mediocre if it's outsped, which also means opposing speed control like Tailwind pr Trick Room is bad for it. Its Attack is also low, making all non-Fishious Rend attacks relatively weak. Tyranitar is a near mandatory partner due to it not only setting sand, but also easily beating Kyurem-B. Incineroar and Rillaboom handle opposing Rillaboom and Tapu Fini, respectively, and Incineroar is yet another Kyurem-B check.

[SET COMMENTS]

* Fishious Rend is Dracovish's best move and hits extremely hard as long as Dracovish moves first, even 2HKOing Pokemon that resist it like Dragapult and Urshifu-R.

* Psychic Fangs allows Dracovish to hit Amoonguss and Naganadel, but Dracovish having to lock into it and its unimpressive coverage make it extremely exploitable.

* Dragon Rush lets Dracovish potentially break through Kyurem-B and Volcanion, although it suffers from the same issues as Psychic Fangs in addition to its subpar accuracy.

* All of Dracovish's other attacks are even more mediocre than the prior two, making Sleep Talk a good utility choice.

* Sand Rush makes it exponentially easier for Dracovish to use the full potential of Fishious Rend, since it outspeeds the entire metagame under sand.

* Choice Band is an especially good item because Dracovish should be using one move, Fishious Rend, most of the time anyway. Adamant is chosen because Dracovish doesn't need Jolly to outspeed the entire tier under sand.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Rock Slide can be used as hit both foes as well as giving Dracovish another option to hit Kyurem-B and Volcanion, but it is pathetically. Dracovish can use Mystic Water to boost Fishious Rend while being able to switch moves and use Protect. However, it loses out on a significant amount of power compared to Choice Band and only boosts Fishious Rend. While a set using Choice Scarf and Strong Jaw can technically exist, its damage and Speed are exponentially worse, and it still suffers from the same drawbacks as Choice Band, just without the need for sand support.

[OVERVIEW]
  • Rillaboom should be mentioned as a check, it resists Fishious Rend and has Grassy Glide to ignore its Speed, on top of Fake Out being annoying for Dracovish.
  • Mention Speed Control as a weakness due to Dracovish's heavy reliance on moving first; in Tailwind most Pokemon will be faster than it and in Trick Room everything will be. It's also particularly vulnerable to Speed Control due to typically not carrying Protect either.
  • You should emphasise more how bad Dracovish is, e.g. its relatively low Attack stat. Right now you make it sound better than its viability actually is.
  • I don't see why Fake Out support is particularly notable for Dracovish compared to any other Pokemon.
  • Incineroar can be noted as a Kyurem-B check too.
[OTHER OPTIONS]
  • You could maybe mention an alternative move option like Rock Slide for spread.
  • Since it's so popular on ladder, I think you should mention Choice Scarf (+ Strong Jaw) here and why it's actually bad.

Its access to Fishious Rend allows it to deal heavy damage to the majority to heavily damage most of the tier as long as it's moving first, which is made significantly easier with Sand Rush giving it the ability Sand Rush makes significantly easier, allowing it to outspeed the entire tier under sand. Dracovish also has a decent defensive typing for an attacker of its caliber, as it allows it able to switch in on attackers like Heatran and Metagross while still being able to live and survive a hit. However, Dracovish struggles to break past common Pokemon that resist Fishious Rend, mainly Rillaboom, who weaknes Fishious Rend and 2HKOs with which 2HKOes it while weakening Fishious Rend with priority Grassy Glide, and Tapu Fini and Kyurem-B, both of whom also threaten to which OHKO or 2HKO Dracovish after minimal chip, and chip damage. Volcanion can ignore Dracovish locked into FIshious Rend (I imagine?) entirely while with Water Absorb, either attempting to burn Dracovish or attacking its partner. In addition, Dracovish heavily relies on sand to maintain a strong offensive presence, as its damage is utterly mediocre if it isn't outspeeding the opposing Pokemon, it's outsped, which also means opposing speed control like Tailwind and Trick Room are or Trick Room is bad for it. [SET COMMENTS]

* Fishious Rend is Dracovish's best STAB move and hits extremely hard as long as Dracovish is moving moves first, even 2HKOing Pokemon that resist it like Dragapult and Urshifu-R.

* Psychic Fangs allows Dracovish to hit Amoonguss and Naganadel, however it is extremely exploitable thanks to Choice Band preventing it from using any other moves and the high amount of Pokemon that resist it. but Dracovish having to lock into it and its unimpressive coverage make it extremely exploitable. (resist -> coverage bc dragon rush has "same issues" but not as many pokemon "resist" dragon rush)

* Dragon Rush lets Dracovish potentially break through Kyurem-B and Volcanion, although it suffers from the same issues as Psychic Fangs in addition to its subpar accuracy.

* Sleep Talk allows Dracovish to move despite being put to sleep, such as from Amoonguss's Spore. All of Dracovish's other attacks are even more mediocre than the prior two, making Sleep Talk a good utility choice. (like, I imagine that's the thought process here? obviously tinker as much as you want. you could also remove this bullet instead if you want. if i'm missing the point and sleep talk is very independently important, maybe it's worth slotting earlier than 4 and emphasizing a bit? i hope my gist makes sense)

* Sand Rush makes it exponentially easier for Dracovish to use the full potential of Fishious Rend, due to it outspeeding the entire meta since it outspeeds the entire metagame under sand.

* Choice Band and an Adamant Nature allows Dracovish to hit as hard as possible. Choice Band is an especially good item because Dracovish should be using one move—Fishious Rend—most of the time anyway. Adamant is chosen because Dracovish doesn't need Jolly to outspeed the entire tier under sand. (again, like, I imagine? again, tinker as much as you want. again, you could also remove this bullet instead if you want. etc. second sentence is totally optional if you wanna keep adamant mentioned, and again is totally tinkerable, but if you dont want it thats totally fine)

Rock Slide can be used as an option to hit both opponents to hit both foes, as well as giving it Dracovish another option to hit Kyurem-B and Volcanion, but it is pathetically weak while requiring Dracovish to drop Sleep Talk or a coverage move to use. While a set using Choice Scarf and Strong Jaw can technically exist, its damage and Speed are exponentially worse, while still suffering and it still suffers from the same drawbacks as Choice Band, just without the need for sand support.
