A match is a composition of multiple games. A match is over when one trainer wins two games.
Both players send in a team of 3 Pokemon.

Game 1:
- The ref flips a coin (or rolls a 1d2, you get the idea) to select who is "T1" and who is "T2"
- T1 strikes one of the five arenas
- T2 strikes two of the remaining four arenas
- T1 strikes one more arena
- The round is played on the remaining arena
- T1 is first sendout

Games 2+:
- The winner of the previous round gets to strike two arenas
- The loser of the previous round picks one of the remaining arenas
- The round is played on the selected arena
- The loser of the previous round is first sendout

Zapdos’s nesting place is constantly struck by lightning descending from dark and looming thunder clouds. The unstable weather requires careful preparation and anti-electricity measures.
  • The BAP of all Water-type moves is reduced by three (3)
  • Default weather is Thunder Clouds
    • Thunder Clouds makes all moves cost two (2) extra EN
    • Thunder Clouds paralyzes all active Pokémon when it changes directly into Rainy
    • Thunder Clouds sets Electric Terrain for three (3) actions if a damaging move whose name contains “Thunder” is successfully performed. This effect cannot be refreshed

  • Speed boosts decay half as fast, Speed drops decay twice as fast

In the exact middle of the Windswept Valley, a small area is unnaturally calm. It would almost feel relaxing to stand there if not for the massive tension in the atmosphere, wanting nothing more than being released.
  • Thunder can hit Pokémon in the evasive stage of Dig. If it does, it ignores the target’s Ground typing
  • Moves with “Wind” in their name have their BAP increased by three (3)
  • Moves with “Wind” in their name set Tailwind for three (3) actions when successfully performed. This effect cannot be refreshed

  • Hurricane gets 100% Accuracy
  • All sun-based moves treat this arena as being in harsh sunlight

Static Airfield
A giant black thundercloud blots out the whole sky. Although it doesn't look like it will thunder any time soon, the immense static charge it exerts can be harnessed by Pokemon to create an electrical current of their own.
  • After using a damaging [Electric-Type or Normal-Type] attack, the Pokemon gains one Electron. Damaging Normal-Type attacks by Pokemon with Electrons become Electric-Type attacks
  • If the user has any Electrons while using an Electric-Type Contact attack, then increase the move's BAP by 3 per Electron, ignore immunities to Electric moves granted by Abilities and Types, remove all Electrons from the user, and give the target one (1) Electron
  • Roost removes all Electrons from the user
  • Electrons do not persist through switching

She has an egg now. And she really cares for it. I thought my old Lucky Egg wouldn't be of use, so I gave it to her, since she wanted it. Turns out some sort of hidden power (not the move) awakened in the egg and is now powering her up? What?
She's very content about this, and brings the egg wherever she goes. Try to pry it from her and get shocked as a result, because she seems to have developed some sort of maternal instinct towards it. That's weird. Really weird. It's so out-of-character other team members have been discussing the possibility of an illness due to the time-space shenanigans everyone had to go through to land here.

Klavier is battling for one thing, and one thing only: to please the audience. Whipping out the deafening sound moves is his way to embrace the stage, and if it leads to a KO he's going to be even more pumped. If you want his music gone, you'll have to knock him out cold, because he's not letting go of the guitar willingly.
Without much surprise, he's not a huge fan of Pokémon with Soundproof.
Off the stage- I mean arena, he's surprisingly chill and level-headed, though he has a tendency to start singing and playing at the most random times...

Elma finds herself right at home in Galar's rainy climate, moreso since she claimed to dislike Alola's dry areas. Here, she gets a ton of puddles to slide around, but she has to be careful since she's now much more massive than when she was a Goomy. Nevertheless, Elma really looks happier here, and that's all that matters. Except when she crashes into the tent. And it's raining outside. That matters as well.
A lot of her previous playmates are absent, so the endurance contests are off for now, but she found a new friend in Yew, who gladly spars a bit with her.

You know, Jay worked really hard on this arena! And yet it goes completely ignored, as two dragons just punch each other as hard as possible with STAB super-effective attacks. Astrolotl does some trickery with stealing Goodra's Rocky Helmet after proccing Weakness Policy, but it really is hard to argue with an Outrage or three to the face.
