The Livlos Project

[Insert godly picture of Professor evergreen here]

"Why, hello there! Welcome to the research institute of the Livlos region, where we try to look into every pokemon in the region as much as possible. My name is Professor Evergreen and I'm the regional Pokemon Professor! Now, you're probably here because you want to start your journey in fantastic world of pokemon! Luckily I have three new pokemon we've just discovered in the back, so if you could follow me there you'll get your starter pokemon!"

"Alright Professor! This place looks fantastic by the way!"

"Thanks, it took a whole lot of work to get the rights to build it!"

~~The professor and the player start walking, but suddenly stop soon afterwards.~~

"I'm about to give you something extremely important on your journey, it's called the pokedex! It allows you to catalog the pokemon you've discovered on your journey and shows their types, abilities, Movepool, Nature, Stats, BST and name of the pokemon!"

"T-Thanks Professor Evergreen!"

~~The player and the professor continue walking until they reach the starters~~

"I reccomend trying out the pokedex on the starters here!"
"Yes Sir!"

Well, now that the flavour is done, onto the actual Pet Mod! In the Livlos project, we will be creating over 150 new pokemon to fill the region of Livlos, starting with the 3 Starter pokemon, details below.
First, there will be six phases to this project, the 1st phase is the obvious submission phase where you guys will submit ideas and concepts for the two / three stages of each pokemon that's to be created. The next stage is voting phase, where it's voted on the best submissions for each pokemon on the slate, which will be announced and archived in reserved posts. The third stage is the pokedex phase, where the pokedex entries for each pokemon will be created and voted on in the fourth stage after that. The fifth stage is a fun one, it's the design phase! In this phase, artists of either the spriting or drawing kind can be submitted for each of the pokemon! It can be submitted here or a hopeful thread in the smeargle's studio forums. The final stage is the voting stage for the designs and at the end of this phase the archive will be updated with the designs, pokedex entries, abilities, stats and types of the pokemon.

Now, onto the slate!

The Starters

The Starters must have either the Fire, Water or Grass type, however the secondary types, abilities, moves and stats are all up to you!

As a note for submissions phase: All pokemon must be themed, they can't go too far from the idea of the original pokemon, they must be built fro the idea of the original.

The Starters should be submitted in this format:

Basic:
Name: Decide the name!
Type: Can only be one type, either fire, water or grass.
Ability: Blaze / Torrent / Overgrow as primary ability, but the hidden ability is all up to you!
Stats: Submitted as HP / Attack / Defense / Special Attack / Special Defense / Speed, has to have a max BST of 350.
Movepool: Submitted as (Level) (Move) in a list format for every move.
Flavour / Description: Why you think the pokemon should be submitted to the archive, and give a reasoning for the flavour of the move pool.
Method Of Evolution: Input how the starter evolves! Keep it through levels, but the evolution level cap here is minimum 16, maximum 18.

Stage 1:
Name: Decide the second name!
Type: The original type of the basic pokemon, + a secondary type if need be.
Ability: Blaze / Torrent / Overgrow as primary ability, but the hidden ability is all up to you!
Stats: Submitted as HP / Attack / Defense / Special Attack / Special Defense / Speed, has to have a max BST of 450.
Movepool: Submitted as (Level) (Move) in a list format for every move.
Flavour / Description: Why you think the pokemon should be submitted to the archive, and give a reasoning for the flavour of the move pool.
Method Of Evolution: Keep this one through levels as well because it's a starter, minimum 30, maximum 32.

Stage 2:
Name: Decide the final name!
Type: The original typing of the stage 1 pokemon plus a secondary type if didn't have one already.
Ability: Blaze / Torrent / Overgrow as primary ability, but the hidden ability is all up to you!
Stats: Submitted as HP / Attack / Defense / Special Attack / Special Defense / Speed, has to have a max BST of 550.
Movepool: Submitted as (Level) (Move) in a list format for every move.
Flavour / Description: Why you think the pokemon should be submitted to the archive, and give a reasoning for the flavour of the movepool.

Of course, most of the slates won't be as limited as this one, because that's no fun.

Also will update with gifs / pics when I'm not lazy / have them.

Basic:
Name: Seedwarf (Seed + Dwarf)
Type: Grass
Ability: Overgrow/Skill Link
Stats: 50/50/65/50/65/70
Movepool:
1- Tackle
1- Growl
6- Absorb
12- Barrage
18- Leech Seed
24- Bullet Seed
31- Mega Drain
37- Rototiller
42- Grassy Terrain
48- Seed Bomb
54- Giga Drain
Flavour / Description: A small, human-shaped critter with a soil cone-hat with a sprout on the top, cute dot eyes and roundish body. It likes to collect seeds and scatters them around gardens, leaving little surprises outside lucky homes. It has a small pebble necklace as foreshadowing for its evolution. Pretty balanced in stats although it doesn't get good moves until later. Main niche is abusing Skill Link Bullet Seed in LC. In the meantime, since it learns the fairly pwoerful move a bit later, Skill Link Barrage will have to do.
Method Of Evolution: Evolve at level 18

Stage 1:
Name: Mosstrole (Moss + Stroll/Troll)
Type: Grass/Rock
Stats: 60 / 75 / 90 / 70 / 70 / 75
Movepool:
1- Tackle
1- Growl
6- Absorb
12- Barrage
18- Leech Seed
18- Rock Throw
25- Bullet Seed
29- Mega Drain
32- Smack Down
36- Rototiller
42- Rock Blast
48- Grassy Terrain
55- Seed Bomb
61- Giga Drain
Flavour / Description: Finally the potential of its Skill Link ability has been reached- it can now use Rock Blast as a secondary STAB with Bullet Seed. It's skin has hardened to rock and it now has a dish-like stone hat on it's head which is surrounded by moss and a lichen on top. It also has a moss moustache with rocky, moss-covered limbs. Despite the now stony-skin, like a pot, it's body is quite lightweight and hollow, the actual stones are smooth as it likes to roll around in gardens- so speed is actually fairly good for a Rock type. Basically like a living moss-covered pot in the shape of a troll (Disney's Frozen version).
Method Of Evolution: Evolve at Level 32.

Stage 2:
Name: Gardenome (Guard/Garden+Gnome)
Type: Grass/Rock
Ability: Overgrow/Skill Link

Flavour / Description: It has mossy stone farmer's hat with a four leaf clover on top. In addition to the moustache it also has a green, mossy beard and there's a growth of moss around it's shoulders making it look like it has a green cape. It's shaped like a stone garden gnome and has moss growth arounds its wrists and green thumbs (hah). The actual stone body is smooth like pebbles and also light-weight, making it fairly fast for a Rock type. Believed to be good luck around harvests, crops seem to flourish when this Pokemon is around to guard a farm from pests.

Pure hyps for days, I've been waiting for one of these
(also gonna edit this post as I add the two other starters)
Foreword: I was originally gonna make starters have 4x weaknesses, but nah. Ferdawnt is gonna keep it though, because it still is pretty powerful.

THE GRASS STARTER
The Verdusk (open to names lel) line, a decently fast special tank that has offensive presence with its HA! And I think it is a dramatic shift from how most grass starters represent physical force (except sceptile, you rebel).

Name: Verdusk
Type: Grass
Ability: Overgrow (Mega Launcher Hidden)
Stats: 63/43/43/63/83/43 (BST 338)
Movepool:
(1) Tackle
(4) Tail Whip
(7) Absorb
(9) Growth
(13) Razor Leaf
(15) Mega Drain
(19) Snarl
(21) Fury Attack
(24) Razor Wind
(27) Giga Drain
(31) Howl
(32) Leech Seed
(35) Roar
(38) Energy Ball
(41) Dark Pulse
(53) Moonlight
Flavour / Description: It is actually pretty strange for a starter, being based on the ever-so-popular special defense. Anyway, the design is based on a combination of nocturnal animals, specifically beginning like a chubby badger, but becoming eventually more wolflike (hence low attack). The name Verdusk is based on Verdant and dusk.
Method Of Evolution: Level 16

Name: Ferdeft
Type: Grass-Dark
Ability: Overgrow (Mega Launcher Hidden)
Stats: 83/53/43/83/103/73 (BST 438)
Movepool:
(1) Tackle
(1) Tail Whip
(1) Absorb
(1) Growth
(4) Razor Leaf
(15) Mega Drain
(22) Snarl
(25) Fury Attack
(27) Razor Wind
(32) Giga Drain
(33) Howl
(35) Leech Seed
(37) Roar
(39) Energy Ball
(43) Dark Pulse
(58) Moonlight
Flavour / Description: Now is the middle stage. As you might notice, the speed took a big jump here, and it will again, while the attack minimally grew. This is again because of the slightly slimming design of the stages. Name means Verdant + deft + fur + fern. This is because the Ferdeft begins to become more dexterous, as it becomes more crafty in order to use the night to its advantage.
Method Of Evolution: Level 31

Name: Ferdawnt
Type: Grass-Dark
Ability: Overgrow (Mega Launcher Hidden)
Stats: 93/63/63/93/123/103 (BST 538)
Movepool:
(1) Tackle
(1) Tail Whip
(1) Absorb
(1) Growth
(4) Razor Leaf
(17) Mega Drain
(24) Snarl
(28) Fury Attack
(29) Razor Wind
(32) Giga Drain
(33) Howl
(36) Leech Seed
(41) Roar
(43) Energy Ball
(47) Dark Pulse
(63) Moonlight
(68) SolarBeam
Flavour / Description: First the name is a combination of like 6 words: Verdant + Daunting + Dawn + Taunt + Fern. This is the final form of the Verdusk line, which is now much more canine in appearance, but still badgerlike in body structure. Ferdawnt can stand on its hind legs in order to attack more strongly. It will probably be a very nice and friendly dark type, which is a rarity. But if it is threatened, it can dish out serious damage and show the dark side of nocturnal forests.
Method Of Evolution: It doesn't evolve no more

All in all, the Grass starter is based on the change from young animals/plants to older and protective ones in tandem with the progression of the night. The moveset is made to be as flavorful as possible, with certain moves used specifically for a shift in the pokemon. Imagine a scene in a gym battle where the weaker-looking Ferdeft is almost KOed, but it rises back up, evolving and lets a mighty roar from its newfound size and obliterates faints the opponent with a mighty dark pulse to the face.

THE FIRE STARTER
This guy is again different, in typing rather than stat build. It's design is based on the fact that fire is dazzling and deemed as bright.
Name: Lambaze
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze (Fur Coat hidden)
Stats: 54/44/44/84/54/64
Movepool:
(1) Tackle
(4) Leer
(7) Ember
(9) Flame Wheel
(13) Fire fang
(15) Incinerate
(19) Charm
(21) Horn Attack
(24) Heal Bell
(27) Fairy Wind
(31) Hyper Voice
(32) Flame Charge
(35) Horn Drill
(38) Flamethrower
(41) Cotton Guard
(53) Dazzling Gleam
Flavour / Description: Zodiac hype, this is the sheep. Yeah, not very fearsome or explosive, but still nice nonetheless. Name is lamb + blaze. The design would be based on a lamb with darker colored wool, but a lighter body underneath.
Method Of Evolution: Level 16

Name: Flaramble
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze (Fur Coat hidden)
Stats: 64/64/64/104/64/84
Movepool:
(1) Tackle
(1) Leer
(1) Ember
(1) Flame Wheel
(4) Fire fang
(15) Incinerate
(22) Charm
(25) Horn Attack
(27) Heal Bell
(32) Fairy Wind
(33) Hyper Voice
(35) Flame Charge
(37) Horn Drill
(39) Flamethrower
(43) Cotton Guard
(58) Dazzling Gleam
Flavour / Description: The next sheep, with its name based on lamb + ramble + flare + rumble + ram. It begins to gain more fluffiness, but also begins to become aggressive. It also grows wool of different color, in small patches underneath the bigger wool.
Method Of Evolution: Level 31

Name: Dazzewick
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze (Fur Coat hidden)
Stats: 74/84/84/124/74/104
Movepool:
(1) Tackle
(1) Leer
(1) Ember
(1) Flame Wheel
(4) Fire fang
(17) Incinerate
(24) Charm
(28) Horn Attack
(29) Heal Bell
(32) Fairy Wind
(33) Hyper Voice
(36) Flame Charge
(41) Horn Drill
(43) Flamethrower
(47) Cotton Guard
(63) Dazzling Gleam
(68) Flash Cannon
Flavour / Description: The final form, which shed's its own wool in order to reveal the much brighter, thinner wool underneath, and it's horns are now much larger, but instead of fearsome, they glow like a rammable beacon. Dazzewick's name is from dazzle + wick + ewe. Flash Cannon is from the fact that Dazzewick's new wool is charged with light.
Method Of Evolution: 0evolve4me

Overall, Dazzewick is again based on brightness, and it is somewhat like Ampharos in how it evolves, but Dazzewick keeps the wool and grows much larger and brighter horns. Also, it resembles Xerneas, but not deerlike and more like a ram, and red too.

THE WATER STARTER
The water starter is more or less unique. Having a typing that belongs to less than five other pokemon and the mixed attacking ability to back it up, it works well on a lot of teams.
Name: Storrent
Type: Water
Ability: Torrent (Magic Guard hidden)
Stats: 83/63/43/63/43/43
Movepool:
(1) Tackle
(4) Leer
(7) Water Gun
(9) Stockpile
(13) Aqua ring
(15) Bubblebeam
(19) Thunder Shock
(21) Soak
(24) Discharge
(27) Charge Beam
(31) Chip Away
(32) Muddy Water
(35) Spit up
(38) Aqua Tail
(41) Wild Charge
(53) Drill Run
Flavour / Description: Name is store + torrent. It is a pretty chubby pokemon, but it stores bursting energy within it, and can unleash that onto opponents.
Method Of Evolution: Level 16

Name: Manastow
Type: Water
Ability: Torrent (Magic Guard hidden)
Stats: 103/83/43/73/53/83
Movepool:
(1) Tackle
(1) Leer
(1) Water Gun
(1) Stockpile
(4) Aqua ring
(15) Bubblebeam
(22) Thunder Shock
(25) Soak
(27) Discharge
(32) Charge Beam
(33) Chip Away
(35) Muddy Water
(37) Spit up
(39) Aqua Tail
(43) Wild Charge
(58) Drill Run
Flavour / Description: Name is Manatee + Stow. Yeah, it is still a manatee. But this manatee isn't any one. Using its stored power, Manastow can move faster than other large animals because of it's internal energy, and uses this so surprise opponents.
Method Of Evolution: Level 31

Name: Bustore
Type: Water - Electric
Ability: Torrent (Magic Guard hidden)
Stats: 123/103/43/103/63/103
Movepool:
(1) Tackle
(1) Leer
(1) Water Gun
(1) Stockpile
(4) Aqua ring
(17) Bubblebeam
(24) Thunder Shock
(28) Soak
(29) Discharge
(32) Charge Beam
(33) Chip Away
(36) Muddy Water
(41) Spit up
(43) Aqua Tail
(47) Wild Charge
(63) Earthquake
(68) Stored Power
Flavour / Description: Name is store + buster. Bustore is similar to its pre-evolutions, but it has a key difference: the tail. Bustore's tail is the vessel for the stored energy to break be unleashed into the world, and it is a very strong attacker because of that.
Method Of Evolution: |\| ()

I just realized, this guy resembles Krilowatt a lot. Anyway, the ultimate manatee pokemon (both you and I know you wanted one) is here, and it is actually pretty nice being able to run physical or special really well.

(29) Agility
(33) Leaf Blade
(38) Moonlight
(42) Nature Power
(47) Dazzling Gleam

Flavour / Description: Based on a deer, a cute and nature friendly animal. Just like a young deer, it is fast yet fragile, hence its high Speed and low defense.
Method of Evolution: Level 16

Middle
Name: Deerene (Deer + Serene)
Type: Grass
Stats:
65/84/55/68/68/90 (BST: 430)
Ability: Overgrow/Natural Cure
Movepool:

(39) Moonlight
(42) Nature Power
(45) Wood Hammer
(53) Megahorn
Flavour / Description: An adolescent deer. Trades it's cuteness for some toughness. It now grows antlers which gives it access to some horn-based moves that its pre-evolution cannot have.
Method of Evolution: Level 32

Final
Name: Deerion (Deer + Stallion)
Type: Grass/Fairy
Stats: 85/104/70/78/78/115 (BST: 530)
Ability: Overgrow/Natural Cure
Movepool:
(1) Tackle
(4) Leer
(7) Leech Seed
(10) Razor Leaf
(16) Growth
(16) Horn Attack
(19) Mega Drain
(25) Take Down
(28) Horn Leech
(32) Play Rough
(37) Agility
(42) Leaf Blade
(46) Moonlight
(49) Nature Power
(53) Wood Hammer
(59) Megahorn
(63) Forest's Curse
Flavour/Description: Now based on a caribou, a big tough deer species in which both the male and female have antlers. However, unlike other deer, it's horns are so tough that they shed no more. Now one with nature, it's antlers give it magical powers to protect its trainer as well as the ecosystem of the forests, hence its Fairy typing. Grass/Fairy typing also leaves it extremely weak to Poison, a threat to our nature. Ultimately loyal, it will only allow its trainer to ride it's back. As deer are fast and strong, it gets high Attack and Speed stats. Its ability seems a perfect fit (and competitively useful!) for a Pokémon so nature-friendly.

Name: Skume (Skunk + Fume)
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze / Flash Fire
Stats: 45/52/43/65/59/61 (BST: 325)

(33) Tail Slap
(36) Will-O-Wisp
(41) Fire Spin
(44) Belch
(47) Fire Blast
Flavour / Description: A fire skunk. It occasionally produces hot gas that irritate people and other Pokémon alike. As skunks to not use its body power to attack Skume and its evolutions are mainly special attackers. Skunks' frail appearance also gives its family their low defense.
Method Of Evolution: Level 16

Name: Mephodor (Mephitis, skunk's Genus name + odor)
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze / Flash Fire
Stats: 60/72/53/85/79/81 (BST: 430)

(35) Tail Slap
(39) Will-O-Wisp
(43) Fire Spin
(49) Belch
(55) Fire Blast
Flavour / Description: The odor of the gas that this Pokémon releases is even fouler and the temperature is even hotter. It is now larger and can now go bipedal.
Method Of Evolution: Level 32

Name: Stunkfire (Stink + Fire)
Type: Fire/Poison
Ability: Blaze / Flash Fire
Stats: 75/82/63/115/95/104 (BST: 534)
Movepool:
(1) Heat Wave
(1) Tackle
(4) Growl
(7) Ember
(10) Poison Gas
(13) Smog

Flavour / Description: The odor of the gas Stunkfire emits is so foul that it now poisons anyone that gets to smell it. However, as a sign of loyalty, its trainer will always be unaffected by the poison and the foul odor. It gets a high Special Attack which lets it make good use of its level-up moves. It now gains more Poison Attacks in its level-up movepool, moreso than its pre-evolutions.

Flavour / Description: Based on a piglet, it is a chubby huggable starter. It spouts water on its mouth. As a water starter, Piqua and its evolutions are all colored blue. Bulky stat spread defines its fat appearance and its ability is a perfect fit for a pig.
Method Of Evolution: Level 16

Method Of Evolution: Level 32

(32) Earth Power
(37) Body Slam
(41) Muddy Water
(45) Slack Off
(49) Bounce
(53) Earthquake
(63) Hydro Pump

Flavour / Description: Based on a full-grown wild boar complete with the tusks. Mud has now taken over its body and now spouts muddy water on its mouth. Its tusks give it superior power and its thick fat gives it extreme toughness. Its weight is so heavy that its bounce can cause a massive earthquake. Competitively, it's regular ability is quite useful for offensive sets while it's hidden ability is awesome on its tanking defensive sets. Stat spread is reasonable for a boar fusion, with fantastic bulk, decent offenses, and low speed.

*All the fully-evolved starters get to learn a powerful move of their secondary type (Play Rough, Sludge Bomb, Earth Power) immediately after evolving.

While I don't 100% agree with the Zodiac theory for the Fire-types, I am going to base my line off of that. Specifically, this is suppose to fit under the "Tiger" section and, like how the starters match-up to this theory, this means that my Pokemon will be a feline. More specifically, they will be based off Cheetahs.

Name: Scuburn (Stubborn + Cub + Burn)

Flavour / Description:
A young looking cheetah with the trademark big head the newer starters seem to have. Its fur is a light orange with dark brown spots that resemble tiny fires. Basically imagine this but with the above color scheme / pattern scheme and the loose hair on the back of its head is vaguely shaped like fire. It also has small bursts of flames sprouting from the top of its paw.

The stats are more inclined towards a fast, annoying mon with mediocre attack stats - more heavily inclined towards Attack but not by too much. Bulk is also lacking - main stat is speed. Prankster fits the cat-theme (Cats are usually depicted as Pranksters) and fits with what I'm going with (This Cheetah is a Cheater and doesn't play by the rules - this is why it becomes a Dark-type later and has Prankster).
Method Of Evolution: Evolves to Feliare at Level 17

Name: Feliare (Feline + Fire + Liar)

  • (34) Slash
  • (38) Crunch
  • (42) Fire Fang
  • (47) Flamethrower

Flavour / Description: Kind of a case of "it just gets bigger", except with some notable differences. The fire around the wrists are larger and extend slightly on the back of the arms/legs. Its fur is now a darker shade of a red-ish orange and it now has "sunglasses"-like dark spots around its eyes, sharing the same color as the body fire decals alongside those lines that go down a cheetah's face. It is also has more pronounced shoulder blades like an adult cheetah.

Basically an expansion of its prevo. Nothing really notable except for the sunglasses / eye shadow pattern it has going on now, alongside its darker coloring. Its stats are become more pronounced with lower physical bulk and mediocre special offensive and defense.
Method Of Evolution: Evolves into Chearuptah at Level 35

Name: Chearuptah (Cheetah + Cheater + Eruption)

  • (50) Flamethrower
  • (54) Flare Blitz

Flavour / Description: The final stage. I want you to picture this as I explain Chearuptah's design. It now has a constant grin on its face, its eyes taking a sinister look. The "sunglasses" effect of its prevolution is more pronounced here, and the fireball decals that it share are more defined. The fire around its wrists are about the same proportionally compared to its prevo, but the fire that spread behind the legs are much longer now, extending to the first joint past the wrist. The hair on its back also stick out more.

Ohhh boy, this is going to be fun.

The whole line is based on soybeans, Setsubun and Oni from Japan.

Name: Beani
Type: Grass
Ability: Overgrow/Defiant
Stats: 65/75/69/25/51/25 (BST 320)
Movepool:
(1) Tackle
(1) Leer
(4) Vine Whip
(7) Growth
(9) Rollout
(12) Bullet Seed
(15) Ingrain
(18) Take Down
(21) Submission
(25) Seed Bomb
(29) Knock Off
(33) Bulk Up
(38) Double-Edge
(44) Power Whip
Flavour / Description: The name is basically Bean + Oni. Think of it as a big soybean, with two small sprouts on top, acting as horns; similar sprout tips also act as its arms and legs and two angry eyes are on its, uhm, face. They generally live in groups, following Setsubean or even, in some rare cases, Shutencine's order, though some of them live in solidarity. Those Beani's survival rate are pretty low, though their chance of evolving into Shutencine increases drastically.
With a stat spread similar to Turtwig, Beani's stats differs drastically upon evolving. That said, it's a bean with limbs. Of course it's going to be bulky. The moves are mostly generic "bruiser" moves, with Power Whip there because I imagine the sprouts being able to extend and swipe around.
Method Of Evolution: Level 16

Name: Setsubean
Type: Grass
Ability: Overgrow/Defiant
Stats: 75/99/80/40/66/40 (BST 410)
Movepool:
(1) Tackle
(1) Leer
(4) Vine Whip
(7) Growth
(9) Rollout
(12) Bullet Seed
(15) Ingrain
(19) Take Down
(23) Submission
(28) Seed Bomb
(33) Knock Off
(38) Bulk Up
(44) Double-Edge
(51) Power Whip
Flavour / Description: The name comes from Setsubun (a ritual involving throwing beans to chase away oni) + Bean. The bean body grows even larger and slightly slimmer, and the bean shell becomes slightly jagged with a rough texture. Its arms grows leaves that act as fingers, and the sprout horns also grows leaves, only with them hanging down, acting as decorations. Although known in stories and poems as brutes, they don't actually go out of their way to hunt other Pokemon; that said, they do like the thrill of battle, and would never turn down challenges, even from humans.
Here's where Setsubean's stats start to differ from Grotle. It's more focused on physical offense than physical bulk, and an Atk of 99 is definitely high for a stage 1. Other things are basically the same as Beani.
Method Of Evolution: Level 32

Name: Shutencine
Type: Grass/Rock
Ability: Overgrow/Defiant
Stats: 90/131/95/70/81/65 (BST 532)
Movepool:
(1) Superpower
(1) Tackle

(4) Vine Whip
(7) Growth
(9) Rollout
(12) Bullet Seed

(19) Take Down
(23) Submission
(28) Seed Bomb
(34) Rock Slide
(40) Bulk Up
(47) Double-Edge
(55) Rock Wrecker
(62) Power Whip
Flavour / Description: The name is a combination of Shuten (Doji, a mythical oni leader) + Glycine (max, binomial name of Soybean). With a body that kind of look like two soybeans merged together, the sprout horns on its head has now developed even longer, gaining bean pods hanging from them. The arms grows into actual beans, and sprout tips pokes through the shell into fingers. The bean shells becomes outright rock-like, along with spikes on them. Only the strongest Setsubean can evolve into Shutencine, as their shell grows unbreakable after enduring many battles and surviving afterwards. Their strength and endurance are reverred by many Beani and Setsubean, who would gladly follow a Shutencine's orders should one ever leave their hermit-like lifestyle.
Here's where the line gains the Rock subtype, giving it STAB on Rock-type moves in its learnset. This is primarily why I gave it Rock-type moves early on, to be honest. It's now a full-on bulky attacker, with a massive 131 Atk, decent 90/95/81 bulk and a pretty meh 65 Speed. Superpower in the relearner section is pretty self-explanatory, referrencing the famed Oni strength.

The whole line is based on siamese cats, wheelbarrows and Kasha from Japan (again).

Name: Siameel
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze/Pickup
Stats: 30/50/43/70/40/87 (BST 320)
Movepool:
(1) Scratch
(1) Growl
(4) Incinerate
(7) Quick Attack
(9) Thief
(12) Flame Wheel
(15) Spite
(18) Ominous Wind
(21) Switcheroo
(25) Mystical Fire
(29) Sucker Punch
(33) Will-O-Wisp
(38) Agility
(44) Inferno
Flavour / Description: The name is a combination of Siamese and Wheel, with a dash of Meow mixed in. Imagine them as your regular siamese cats, but with the color inverted; White face, black body. Its feet stand on top of blue flames, and two blue flames in the shape of rings float next to its rear leg. Preferring to live around cemeteries, they are known to take various objects from corpses. This close association with the graveyard of them has caused people to see them as bad omen, heralding the coming of Death.
As a basic stage, its stats can be compared to Treecko, but more min-maxed in terms of offense. Even though it's not a Ghost-type yet, it's still fairly closely related to ghosts, and so it holds a few Ghost-type moves. Dark-type moves too, but that's because of its evolution line's corpse-stealing nature.
Method Of Evolution: Level 16

Name: Cemetese
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze/Pickup
Stats: 40/65/63/85/55/102 (BST 410)
Movepool:
(1) Scratch
(1) Growl
(4) Incinerate
(7) Quick Attack
(9) Thief
(12) Flame Wheel
(15) Spite
(19) Ominous Wind
(23) Switcheroo
(28) Mystical Fire
(33) Sucker Punch
(38) Will-O-Wisp
(44) Agility
(51) Inferno
Flavour / Description: The name comes from Cemetery and Siamese. Growing bigger, its ears becomes flame-like as well, and the blue flame under its feet now spread up the feet, completely covering them. The flame rings trailing by its side are now full-out wheels, while the tip of its tail splits into two in a Y-shape. Furthermore, a ghostly image of a gravestone now lies on its back. Cemetese are oftenly seen dragging fresh corpses away, without anyone knowing where they went. As such, it's not uncommon to see Water-type Pokemon on guard in hospitals and rural villages.
With its flame wheels on the side and the gravestone on its back, its Def starts to increase more over SpD, though the other stat trends stay as they were.
Method Of Evolution: Level 32

Name: Kashigan
Type: Fire/Ghost
Ability: Blaze/Infiltrator
Stats: 65/80/95/100/75/117 (BST 532)
Movepool:
(1) Shadow Sneak
(1) Scratch

(4) Incinerate
(7) Quick Attack
(9) Thief
(12) Flame Wheel

(23) Switcheroo
(28) Mystical Fire
(34) Hex
(40) Will-O-Wisp
(47) Agility
(55) Phantom Force
(62) Inferno
Flavour / Description: The name is a combination of Kasha and Higan (the other shore of Sanzu River). With the casket of a wheelbarrow on its back, the two flame wheels multiple into four, the rear ones being bigger. The flames covering its feet grows large scythe-like flame claws, and the tail fully splits into two halfway. The corner of its eyes are also lit with blue flames. It was near universally despised for whisking away corpses without care, though few have managed to defeat it and keep the corpse safe at the same time. As such, most just let it take the corpses away and curse their own bad luck, or try and ambush it before it arrives at where the corpses are.
Finally gaining the Ghost-type, Kashigan has more physical bulk than special due to the wheels acting as shields. Its main focus is still Speed though, as well as a slight bit in SpA. Hex combined with Will-O-Wisp can be pretty dangerous, especially with Infiltrator which means not even Substitute would save the opponent.

The whole line is based on oil pipelines and Ikuchi from Japan (notice a pattern here?)

Name: Oiphinae
Type: Water
Ability: Torrent/Liquid Ooze
Stats: 45/42/38/55/75/65 (BST 320)
Movepool:

(15) Coil
(19) Poison Tail
(23) Soak
(28) Scald
(33) Acid Spray
(38) Rain Dance
(44) Sludge Wave
(51) Aqua Tail
Flavour / Description: The name is a combination of Oil and Hydrophiinae. Having the head of a seahorse and the body of a sea snake, some of the scales on it are extra spiky, with petrol dripping from under them, as well as a forked tail fin curving inwards. The petrol is Oiphinae's protective mechanism against predators, as most Pokemon would not be able to endure the smell, and those who are able to would either be poisoned or be outright immune to the toxicity of the petrol.
Slightly awkward stats, yes, but it's to set up for the stage 2 stats. I would've made this Water/Poison were it not for the rules, but this could be explained as Oiphinae not having enough control over how and where to shoot its petrol at.
Method Of Evolution: Level 16

Name: Ikujil
Type: Water/Poison
Ability: Torrent/Liquid Ooze
Stats: 60/57/53/70/95/75 (BST 410)
Movepool:
(1) Pound
(1) Tail Whip
(4) Water Gun
(7) Wrap
(9) Sludge
(12) Whirlpool
(15) Coil
(19) Poison Tail
(23) Soak
(28) Scald
(33) Acid Spray
(38) Rain Dance
(44) Sludge Wave
(51) Aqua Tail
Flavour / Description: The name is a combination of Ikuji and Oil. Now longer and spikier, it gains spine fins and longer petrol-gland scales, with the petrol now pouring out continuously, leaving a trail. Due to the success of its protective mechanism, Ikujil has gradually developed from prey to predator, using the petrol it secretes to trap and kill foes. However, this method of hunting pollutes the sea heavily, leading to a movement by governments to poach them, cutting down their population and subsequent enviromental impact to a manageable level.
Not much different, yes, but I don't really have a clear image for this one. The stats are just lowered fairly averagely from the final evolution's stats.
Method Of Evolution: Level 32

Name: Hazarchi
Type: Water/Poison
Ability: Torrent/Liquid Ooze
Stats: 80/77/75/90/115/95 (BST 532)
Movepool:
(1) Flamethrower
(1) Pound
(1) Tail Whip
(1) Water Gun
(1) Wrap
(4) Water Gun
(7) Wrap
(9) Sludge
(12) Whirlpool
(15) Coil
(19) Poison Tail
(23) Soak
(28) Scald
(34) Acid Spray
(40) Rain Dance
(47) Wring Out
(55) Sludge Wave
(62) Aqua Tail
Flavour / Description: The name is a combination of Hazard and Ikuchi. With its length now comparable to that of Wailord, its petrol-gland scales grows into claw-like appendages, though they can't actually bend all that well. It can now exert control over the petrol it secretes though, and can be seen forming blades, fists and the like with petrol in battle. Very rarely seen by anyone, Hazarchi was thought to be dripping black blood from its body as they jump over passing ships in an arc. Their biology are better understood nowadays, but the act of jumping above ships is still a mystery.
Unfortunately, while it has access to Coil, I just don't think the role of a physical attacker fits a giant, oil-spewing sea serpent all that well. Instead, it gets natural access to Flamethrower which is unique among Water-types, as well as Scald due to the fact that petrol is flammable. The stats focuses on the protectiveness of the petrol veil, with its serpentine body giving it a decent Speed.

I like this a lot. Going to throw my submissions into the ring in hopes that they have some success.

Line is based on moss and rocks. Simple enough.

Name: Mobble (Moss + Pebble)
Type: Grass
Ability: Overgrow (Rock Head)
Stats: 50/70/85/45/75/25
Movepool:

(27) - Rock Slide
(31) - Double-Edge
(35) - Seed Bomb
(39) - Spore
(43) - Stone Edge
(47) - Wood Hammer
(51) - Rock Wrecker

Flavour / Description: This line is based around moss. I found it quite tricky to make a Pokémon based around moss because imo there's not a lot of... mossy grass moves. The main design I had around Mossle was a moss blob, pebbles, and other sorts of vegetation such as little vines.

Method Of Evolution: Level up (17)

Name: Mossmur (Moss + Mur, French for wall)

(42) - Stealth Rock
(45) - Spore
(49) - Stone Edge
(52) - Power Whip

(60) - Rock Wrecker

Flavour / Description: The Mossle, now fully developed, rests upon a Gigalith/Avalugg-esque rock. It covers at least half of the rock, vegetation dangling towards the ground and the sporophytes from before are much longer. Also has the most generic Grass/Rock and 'moss/golem-related creature' name you could think of.

(29) Air Slash
(33) Sleep Powder

Flavour / Description: This pokemon will probably be quite nice, For an LC it has a good movepool, Good stats and a good HA, It's offensive stats prevent it from being OP, and it's movepool has just enough moves for like 2 sets, A set where you sleep the opponent and leech seed him to death, or a set where you keep QD with Multiscale to prevent harder hits to come through, it doesn't have much recovery options currently, with only ingrain and leech seed, but as it grow it will gain more bird-ish feature including recovery, The pokemon will look like a small green pteradactyl, It's wing-like things under its arm will be covered with cotton, it will be twice as large as a humming bird (still TOO small) with the same peck of one, with a small blue seed at the end of its tail

Uhh quick question, do we add Egg moves and TMs?

WIP, will do other starters later

Basic:
Name: Seedwarf (Seed + Dwarf)
Type: Grass
Ability: Overgrow/Skill Link
Stats: 50/50/65/50/65/70
Movepool:
1- Tackle
1- Growl
6- Absorb
12- Barrage
18- Leech Seed
24- Bullet Seed
31- Mega Drain
37- Rototiller
42- Grassy Terrain
48- Seed Bomb
54- Giga Drain
Flavour / Description: A small, human-shaped critter with a soil cone-hat with a sprout on the top, cute dot eyes and roundish body. It likes to collect seeds and scatters them around gardens, leaving little surprises outside lucky homes. It has a small pebble necklace as foreshadowing for its evolution. Pretty balanced in stats although it doesn't get good moves until later. Main niche is abusing Skill Link Bullet Seed in LC. In the meantime, since it learns the fairly pwoerful move a bit later, Skill Link Barrage will have to do.
Method Of Evolution: Evolve at level 18

Stage 1:
Name: Mosstrole (Moss + Stroll/Troll)
Type: Grass/Rock
Stats: 60 / 75 / 90 / 70 / 70 / 75
Movepool:
1- Tackle
1- Growl
6- Absorb
12- Barrage
18- Leech Seed
18- Rock Throw
25- Bullet Seed
29- Mega Drain
32- Smack Down
36- Rototiller
42- Rock Blast
48- Grassy Terrain
55- Seed Bomb
61- Giga Drain
Flavour / Description: Finally the potential of its Skill Link ability has been reached- it can now use Rock Blast as a secondary STAB with Bullet Seed. It's skin has hardened to rock and it now has a dish-like stone hat on it's head which is surrounded by moss and a lichen on top. It also has a moss moustache with rocky, moss-covered limbs. Despite the now stony-skin, like a pot, it's body is quite lightweight and hollow, the actual stones are smooth as it likes to roll around in gardens- so speed is actually fairly good for a Rock type. Basically like a living moss-covered pot in the shape of a troll (Disney's Frozen version).
Method Of Evolution: Evolve at Level 32.

Stage 2:

31- Mega Drain
32- Smack Down
38- Rototiller
45- Rock Blast
50- Grassy Terrain
57- Seed Bomb
65- Giga Drain
Flavour / Description: It has mossy stone farmer's hat with a four leaf clover on top. In addition to the moustache it also has a green, mossy beard and there's a growth of moss around it's shoulders making it look like it has a green cape. It's shaped like a stone garden gnome and has moss growth arounds its wrists and green thumbs (hah). The actual stone body is smooth like pebbles and also light-weight, making it fairly fast for a Rock type. Believed to be good luck around harvests, crops seem to flourish when this Pokemon is around to guard a farm from pests.

Ooh, this looks cool. I'm gonna add my stuff here and fail miserably at not making everything hyper-offensive.

I'm just gonna edit this post to include the other starters as I go, since I don't really have the time to do all three at once.

Fire Starter

Name: Emberine (Ember + Wolverine)
Typing: Fire

HM06: Rock Smash

Move-pool by Tutor Moves:
Snore
Covet
Knock Off
Uproar
Iron Tail
Heat Wave
Foul Play
Pain Split
Spite
Snatch

Move-pool by Egg moves:
Thunder Fang
Fire Fang
Rage
Poison Fang
Thrash
Flame Wheel

Flavor/Description: Looks mostly like a young wolverine, except mostly colored orange/dark brown and with more prominent, black anime-esque eyes. It lacks fiery aspects in its design, though, and in that respect it's similar to Tepig. It has a permanent frown. The reason for Anger Point is because wolverines are known for their fierce tempers, which is compounded by gaining Dark typing for its final evolution.

From what I know, this is a fairly standard move-pool for a Fire-type, with a few Dark-type moves thrown in there. I also know absolutely NOTHING about LC, but this seems like it could be a capable mixed attacker. Its bulk is low, preventing it from running any kind of a bulky set, but it dishes out a good amount of damage to anything that doesn't resist Fire.

Method of Evolution: Evolves at level 18.

Name: Temperine (Temperature + Temper + Wolverine)
Typing: Fire
Ability: Blaze/Anger Point (HA)
Stats: 60/90/60/70/55/70 (405 BST)
Move-pool by level-up:
(1) Scratch
(1) Leer
(5) Ember
(10) Bite
(14) Taunt
(18) Fire Fang
(19) Pursuit
(23) Incinerate
(29) Take Down
(34) Slash
(40) Flamethrower
(46) Sucker Punch
(53) Flare Blitz

Move-pool by TM/HM:
All of Emberine's TM moves, plus:
TM02: Dragon Claw
TM22: Solar Beam
TM23: Smack Down
TM86: Grass Knot
HM04: Strength

Move-pool by Tutor Moves:
All of Emberine's Tutor moves, plus:
Iron Head
Superpower

Flavor/Description: Looks much like a teenaged (?) wolverine. Its color scheme is darker, and it looks more menacing now. Its tail now has a definite fire-like look (although it isn't actually on fire). Besides that, it's a matter of "stronger and faster, without being extremely different".

In terms of battle prowess, it's stronger and faster, while still having next to no bulk. It still isn't Dark-typed, so no STAB on Knock Off, but it's still a valuable coverage move. Maybe it could make a name for itself in PU?

Method of Evolution: Evolves at level 32.

Name: Brutarine (Brutal + Wolverine)
Typing: Fire/Dark
Ability: Blaze/Anger Point
Stats: 70/120/75/90/70/95 (520 BST)
Move-pool by level-up:
(1) Flare Blitz
(1) Scratch
(1) Leer
(5) Ember
(10) Bite
(14) Taunt
(18) Fire Fang
(19) Pursuit
(23) Incinerate
(29) Take Down
(32) Crunch
(37) Slash
(44) Flamethrower
(51) Sucker Punch
(60) Flare Blitz

Move-pool by TM/HM:

All of Temperine's TM moves, plus:
TM15: Hyper Beam
TM26: Earthquake
TM68: Giga Impact

Move-pool by Tutor Moves:
All of Temperine's Tutor moves: plus:
Super Fang
Endeavor
Outrage

Flavor/Description: A full-sized wolverine, with a mostly black, dark brown, and dark orange color scheme. It is now Dark-typed, with its dangerously short temper and dirty fighting techniques. Retains the "stronger and faster" differences.

As any Houndoom player knows, Fire/Dark is a pretty good STAB combination, except this is physical instead of special. Funnily enough, Brutarine and Houndoom share the exact same Speed. I imagine this wrecking in RU, what with its insane power and ability to go mixed with Sucker Punch as its physical move.

Seeing how there is six phases, I am sure it will be better if each phase takes only 2-3 days, Except maybe the first phase which could go 4 days, or if there is no votes/submissions in a phase, but anyway as I am saying, The shorter the phase, the better this pet mod will be, But this is my own suggestion

Seeing as there are literally no Very few Water starter submissions...

but anyways, I'll probably be fusing some of the phases for this pet mod due to length problems. [I.e, Voting + Pokedex Subs]

Its tusks that grow from its mouth look like tree branches without any leaves. Its head looks like a wood-like helmet formed around it, possibly to protect it from constant injury due to its frequent headbashing. It has a white beard that connects all of the white tufts of fur on its body together. Its tail ends in a small bush. Herboar have constant head bashing contests with each other, and finds smashing its head into objects as fun. They are EXTREMELY aggressive and will perseve any moving object as something to smash into.
