Hey gents! So I've been really trying to come up with a super awesome and effective OU team for competitions. I really like this team but I know that there is always room for improvement. Please RMT and help me try and fill up the holes.

I've made some changes with the help of suggestions. I feel close to having a solid team! Let me know what else I need to change.

Dragonite w/ Life Orb
Nature:Adament Abliity:Multiscale
EV: 252 Attack 4 Defense 252 Speed
Fire Punch
Outrage
Extreme Speed
Waterfall

I will almost always lead with Dragonite. He hits incredibly hard with the choice band, and if able to take out popular set up leads such as ferro and forrettress. Outrage is for heavy stab attack and extreme speed can be used for a revenge kill. Waterfall is for those pesky heatrans and also and other pokemon that i might predict switching in such as ground types like gliscor with an ice fang. I picked Adament because power is crucial with Dnight rather than speed IMO. Would like to throw roost in there for recovery but i don't know what to exchange it for.

Heatran w/Air Balloon
Nature Modest Ability:Flash Fire
EV:252 HP 128 Attack 128 Defense
Flamethrower
Earth Power
Stealth Rocks
Roar/Taunt

I replaced Chan with this guy because I believe that he outclasses Chan in many ways. Flamethrower is for STAB, I wanted accuracy over power. Besides, if i can predict the switch when someone try to kill scizor, i won't need the extra boost in fire blast anyway. Earth Power is for opposing Heatran, hoping they aren't ballon'd like me. Stealth Rocks to take some of the burden off Skarmory for hazards. I can't choose between roar and taunt. I hate not having taunt somewhere on my team, but roar comes in handy when someone try to boost, although Skarmory already serves the job of phazer. I know the EVs might be weird, but I want my Heatran to survive. I put EVs in the places I thought would be most beneficial. If someone think theres a better EV set please inform me so I can correct it.

212.png

Scizor w/ Choice Band
Nature:Adament Ability:Technician
EV:248 HP 252 Attack 8 Spe
Bullet Punch
Pursuit
U-turn
Superpower

Scizor is becoming one of my favorite pokemon. I can use him as a scout but also as a revenge killer. Nature and Ability speak for themself. I wasn't too sure about the EVs so I just used the reccommended set. Bullet Punch for priority and STAB, pursuit for the ghost and psychic pokemon, u-turn for scouting, and superpower for opposing blisseys as well as steels. Scizor works really well with Heatran because I can predict a fire move and give Tran the old flash fire boost.

121.png

Starmie w/ Choice Scarf
Nature:Timid Ability:Natural Cure
EV: 252 SA 252 Spe 4 HP
Rapid Spin
Surf
Ice Beam
Psyschock

Here he is, my rapid spinner. Now I know the scarf is a real odd choice but here is my reasoning. I feel like everyone and their mother is scarfed now, especially things that can one shot Starmie no problem. I don't plan on having starmie in very long. His job is simply, go in go out. Surf is for powerful STAB, Ice Beam is for flying as well as dragons that my Dnight can't finish, and psyshock is too royally screw Blissey.

242.png

Blissey w/ Leftovers
Nature: Bold Ability:Natural Cure
EV:252 HP 252 Defense 4 SD
Aromatheraphy
Softboiled
Toxic
Protect/Icebeam/Flamethrower

Blissey is Blissey. One of the best special walls in the game. Leftovers and bold to support her walling ability. Natural cure to help her with status attacks. Aroma is to help everyone on my team, especially scizor if he gets burned. Softboild is for self healing and toxic for stall. I'm stuck between three different moves for my last slot. Protect would help my stalling but if blissey gets taunted then shes useless. Ice beam could be for gliscors, but flamethrower would help against steels.

227.png

Skarmory w/ Leftovers
Nature:Impish Ability:Sturdy
EV:252 HP 232 Defense 24 Spe
Whirlwind
Stealth Rock/Spikes
Brave Bird
Roost

I figured that you can't have bliss w/o a skarm! I like sturdy as an ability because (follow me on this one) My oppenents dragonite as managed to set off 4 dragon dances, i'm screwed right? WRONG! I bring in Skarmory, he takes the hit with 1 hp left and then I WHIRLWIND HIM! (of course this wouldn't work if its the last pokemon...) Stealth rocks for hazards, brave bird for a power stab and roost for recover yo!

All advice would be greatly appreciated! What are your thoughts? :)

banded terrakion could cruise through this team easily. you have 3 weak to stealth rocks, no spinner and no rock resists.

One thing about the team is its predictable...but hey if it isnt broke dont fix it right. i would put hp ice on chadelure...shadow ball and psychic hits almost the exact same things, the 1 diff being sper effective on fighting. hp ice is nice for revenge killing those Dnites, mence and others.stealth rock over spikes all the time on skarm.
I would avoid putting a band on dragonite...ur already banded with scizor, and he seems to be the glue to the team n dragonite seems redundant as another choiced member.

Dragonite @ life orb
Trait: Inner focus
Nature: Naughty
Ev's 252atk, 252 sp atk, 4 sp def

Draco meteor
Fire blast/Flamethrower
Extremespeed
Superpower

This is a mix nite that no one would expect seeing...it OHKO those leads u spoke about, it breaks walls, like the skarm/bliss or chansey, that u are using. It would do wonders for ur team believe me...u do loose out on multiscale, but since ur not using a spinner, ur loosing out on it anyway since ur dragonite doesn't have roost...dragonite doesn't out speed any other dragons anyway, other than other nites. so a attack boosting nature. superpower suprise kill those t-tar leads, and thats always something good. Like i said ur team is very predicatable and this member gets a lot of omgwtfohko's to help ease the predictabilty. u also get a strong revenge killer as well with exremespeed.

Thts it...oh also. maybe wish on blissey, wish is very nice to have since u have 2 mons weak to rocks.

I really like the dnite idea, do you think i should replace someone with a rapid spinner so i can avoid the major stealth rock weakness?

Blissey with wish is good, the oooonly thing is that I plan on MAKING this team as well as competing online. I know that a wish blissey is a tough one to find.

donphan could work or forry. donphan has powerful earthquake, rapid spin and rocks. as well as priority which is always good.
also i think heatran would work better than shanderaa because it removes the stealth rock weakness, and has a better movepool and bulk. you could balloon it and you have rocks. then... i would replace cloyster with gastrodon for the excellent core. maybe
heatran and donphan would work well on this teami think

i could gen one for u...and make it legit if u want, make it undetectable ...yea maybe u should have a spinner, ur cloyster learns rapid spin, maybe somethings there...or a hitmontop set, replacing cloyster, since u lack fighting moves..i've never used a spinner in my teams before, but thats cuz i tend to use mons that aren't hazard weak

Oh wow I completely forgot about Donphan, yea that would be awesome! Who would you recommend he replace? Cloy?

I realize that Heatran outclasses Chan, but the reason I kept him was because he could block rapid spin (also cuz i just think hes cool..) :D but ill give Heatran a try. If the difference is really that significant, I'll work with Heatran.

Chandelure has a pretty redundant role on this team, as Dragonite already fulfills its niche as a sun check and fire resist. Its not very good as a fighting resist considering how all of them carry dark/ rock moves and Chandelure doesn't have the bulk to shrug those off. Lucario and Terrakion especially have a field day against this team, netting themselves an easy 6-0. To help with this problem, I suggest replacing Chandlure with a Tangrowth. Tang's incredible physical bulk allows it to shrug off Luke and Terrakion's attacks, and responds with Power Whip/ Earthquake. Regenerator keeps Tang healthy so it doesn't get overwhelmed from covering too many threats. Leech Seed is useful for whoring HP, while Sleep Powder lets it cripple a mon.

Tangrowth @ Leftovers
Regenerator
Impish
252 Hp/ 252 Def/ 4 Atk
- Power Whip
- Earthquake
- Leech Seed
- Sleep Powder

This leaves your team with 3 fire weaks. Pretty much all of Skarmory`s roles except setting up hazards are already fulfilled by Scizor and Tangrowth. It is probably the most replaceable member of your team. I suggest going with a Deoxys-S in its place. Atm, Conkeldurr and hazards are problematic for this team. Deoxys-S can get rid of the former with Psycho Boost and stop the latter with Taunt. It can also help faciliate Cloyster's sweep by setting up Stealth Rock and Spikes. Although you lose your phazing, you instead get both Rocks and Spikes, get to shut down opposing hazard layers, have a better answer to Conkeldurr, and wont be overwhelmed by fire moves. Sounds like a good tradeoff to me.

Deoxys-S @ Focus Sash
Pressure
Timid
252 Hp/ 252 Spe/ 4 SpA
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Psycho Boost

I would love to use a Deoxys-s but like i mentioned earlier I want to MAKE this team as well as compete online. Unfortunately I dont have the means of getting a Deoxys

I will try out the tangrowth strat though

Well first thing you have 3 choiced pokes so I'd switch Dragonite to Dragon Dance set, and Change Scizor to Trick Room Reuniclus so this way you have chandelure to reek havoc on the other team. All I really have to say.
Hope I helped :]

I recommend Trick>Psyshock on Starmie. It cn cripple Chan/Bliss and lets you abuse switching moves. This would be helpful to Starmie due to its low SAtk, but great coverage. This also lets you come in and if they switching into a Ghost type on the Rapid Spin, you can easily switch moves and being forced to switch.
