Welcome to the Finals of WCoP 2023! We're down to two teams who have never won before, but gotten agonizingly close many times. Logo by Iyarito

Spain's old reliable core is finally ticking again with the advent of Gen 9, after a few disappointing years - Malekith, SoulWind, and reiku were playing Spain's only other World Cup final all the way back in 2015. They look as brilliant as ever today, but their whole roster is putting up numbers, and they've taken their side of the bracket by storm, sweeping through US Midwest and Oceania with spare games to go.
The same can't be said for Europe, who needed tiebreakers to make it past both United Kingdom and Germany. In times of need, they have found three star players to rely on - veteran McMeghan has handled the pressure as expected, winning in both tiebreaker series, but it's breakout players Lily and - especially - Highv0ltag3 who are even moreso stealing the show, and looking like two of the very best SV OU players at the moment.
Which team will join Italy, US South, and France, to become the fourth consecutive brand new World Cup of Pokémon champions? And who will end yet another great campaign in yet another disappointment? It will all come down to this final series - make sure you don't miss it!
