Okay look let me be clear one LAST time.

Firstly, captains are decided on reputation basis more than anything else. Secondly, that is only a probable list.

Now, about your "Team Germany" or "Team New Jersey", I don't really care. These are just broad categories, we will sub-divide them further. Its all about turnout. So please, just use those categories for now.

Once we come up with the final teams, we'll sort it all out. We were sure to have 8 teams of 8 but hopefully if we get enough participants we might go for 12 or 16 teams of 8. So thats how it is.

Lastly, if you're friend wants him, he can register and post for himself.

I'm very pleased with the signups so far, I will leave them open still to give people a chance to sign up. Now, again to clarify, nothing is set in stone. Me and Shiv will give careful consideration to which teams we feel will make this tournament the best it can be.

It is clear the german people have their own community and are very proud, so it seems only fitting we give them a chance to prove themselves on smogon. There is pretty decent chance there will be a german team, but again its a numbers game.

Keep on signing up, i need more canadian folk! All our vets from last year are MIA :(
