Although it suffers competition from its Water-type counterpart, Paldean Tauros-F is one of PU's best setup sweepers thanks to its incredible offensive and defensive typing, allowing it to deal with Pokemon Paldean Tauros-W can't like Decidueye and Houndstone, combined with Intimidate, allowing it to setup Pokemon like Florges, Bronzong, and Scrafty to sweep, good coverage options, and solid Speed and Attack stats. Paldean Tauros-F's final moveslot is customizable; Trailblaze is most common, allowing it to outspeed Pokemon like Salazzle, Kilowattrel, and Zoroark after one use of the move. Stone Edge is an alternative, targetting Flying-types like Altaria and Delphox. Finally, Substitute allows Paldean Tauros-F to take advantage of the switchouts it forces on Pokemon like Bronzong and Alolan Sandslash while also setting up on passive walls such as Bronzong and Wo-Chien. Leftovers allows Paldean Tauros-F to get slight amounts of recovery, although Heavy-Duty Boots is an alternative to not worry about taking entry hazard damage from Stealth Rock and Spikes upon switchin, giving it more setup and revenge killing oppertunities. Tera Grass boosts Trailblaze, OHKOing Gastrodon, while also providing a resistance to Water- and Ground-type attacks, allowing Paldean Tauros-F to set up on Pokemon like the beforementioned Gastrodon, Milotic, and Golurk. Alternatively, Tera Electric gives Paldean Tauros-F a valuable defensive typing, allowing it to set up on Pokemon like Kilowattrel and Scyther while also providing an extremely important immunity to Paralysis.

Paldean Tauros-F fits on a variety of teams, but primarily finds itself on hyper offense and balanced offense teams looking for an excellent setup sweeper and physical wallbreaker. Paldean Tauros-F struggles to setup safely against Psychic- and Water-types who would force it out like Delphox, Galarian Slowbro, and Paldean Tauros-W. Checks to these threats like Zoroark, Decidueye, and Gastrodon thus make excellent partners. Other Knock Off users like Bombirdier, Gligar, and Alolan Sandslash can help chip away at physical walls like Bellibolt, Mudsdale, and Milotic by removing away their items to support Paldean Tauros-F. Slow Pivots like Bellibolt, Gligar, and Milotic can provide Paldean Tauros-F setup oppertunies safely against their problematic matchups like Wo-Chien, Bronzong, and Golurk. Paldean Tauros-F's ability to pressure Steel-, Dark- and Grass-types like Bronzong, Wo-Chien, Zoroark, and Decidueye allows for Pokemon threatened out by these Pokemon like Galarian Articuno, Delphox, and Paldean Tauros-W to become excellent teammates.

Earthquake is a good midground against switchins like Bellibolt and Galarian Slowbro while also targeting Salazzle. Raging Bull is a useful alternative STAB allowing Paldean Tauros-F to reliably revenge kill without risking recoil damage or a defense drop. Alternatively, Stone Edge allows Paldean Tauros-F to not be walled by Altaria. Tera Fighting boosts Close Combat, 2HKOing Bronzong and Bellibolt after Stealth Rock as well as OHKOing Skuntank, while also removing its weakness to Water- and Ground-type resistance.

raging bull feels worth slashing before stone edge. you basically never click stone edge if the opponent doesn't have altaria, whereas raging bull lets you rkill/sweep without risking dying to recoil.

Paldean Tauros-F struggles to reliably beat physical walls like Bellibolt, Galarian Slowbro, and Altaria; checks to these threats like Golurk, Florges, and Skuntank (switch florges and skuntank so the order matches up with the physical walls.) are helpful partners to have. Choice Band users like Flamigo and Staraptor who normally run Choice Scarf appreciate Paldean Tauros-F's ability to operate as the revenge killer for their team, allowing them to become strong wallbreakers. Stone Edge targets Altaria, who would otherwise wall Paldean Tauros-F, as well as OHKOing Rotom-H and Kilowattrel (edge only ohkoes heatom 44% of the time and you'd rather just fire move kilo. i'm ok with mentioning that it does slightly more to heatom than non-tera cc, but emphasize that it's primarily for alt.).
