Thundurus is one of the top wallbreakers in the RU metagame. Thanks to its movepool and Speed tier, it's able to handle most threats in the tier with minimal issue. Nasty Plot puts Thundurus's Special Attack at sky-high levels, which puts more pressure on the opposing team to force it out or get rid of it. Thundurus finds ample setup opportunities against defensive staples like Togekiss, Suicune, and Milotic while also offensively pressuring threats like Volcanion and Crobat. Focus Blast is for Pokemon that don't mind eating a Thunderbolt like Zarude, Steelix, and Rhyperior. It can also deal decent damage to special walls like Registeel and the rare Snorlax. Psychic allows Thundurus to OHKO threats like Dragalge, Toxtricity, and Roserade after a Nasty Plot, since all three can switch into the two previous moves. Grass Knot, on the other hand, lets Thundurus OHKO Seismitoad, Gastrodon, and Rhyperior. Pivots like Zarude, Cobalion, and Milotic help Thundurus to safely switch into the battlefield, which it often struggles with due to its poor bulk.

Thundurus is one of the more decent setup sweepers top wallbreakers in the RU metagame. Thanks to its movepool, combined with its Speed tier, it's able to handle most threats in the tier with minimal issue. Nasty Plot puts Thundurus's Special Attack at sky-high levels, which puts more pressure on the opposing team to force it out or get rid of it. Thunderbolt is easily the best STAB move for it which deals heavy damage to defensive Pokemon like Suicune and Milotic while also offensively pressuring threats like Volcanion and Crobat. Thundurus finds ample setup opportunities against defensive staples like Togekiss, Suicune, and Milotic while also offensively pressuring threats like Volcanion and Crobat. Focus Blast is for Pokemon that don't mind eating a Thunderbolt like Zarude, Magnezone, and Snorlax. Steelix, and Rhyperior. It can also deal decent damage to special walls like Porygon2 and Umbreon. Registeel and the rare Snorlax. Psychic allows Thundurus to OHKO threats like Toxtricity and Vileplume Dragalge, Toxtricity, and Roserade after one Nasty Plot since they both can switch into the two previous moves. Grass Knot, on the other hand, lets Thundurus to OHKO Seismitoad, Gastrodon, and Rhyperior. While this set does give Thundurus some breathing room in terms of what it can hit, it does have issues with Dragon-types like Regidrago and Zygarde-10%. This is why having a Fairy-type partner like Togekiss or Mimikyu to deal with them. (Regidrago is a gimmick, thundy does struggle with Zygarde but for it being faster and can easily revenge kill it and not its dragon typing. I would rather focus on pivots helping thundurus to get in which it can greatly struggle with.) Pivots like Zarude, Cobalion, and Milotic helps Thundurus to safely switch in onto the battlefield, which it often struggles with due to its poor bulk. (or something along those lines.)

Oathkeepre We decided to change it to Prankster, if you could update the import, thanks!

It's meant to be Defiant so Porygon2 can't trace Prankster and have priority Recover. It also bluffs the pivot or a physical set. Niche, but at least it does something rather than just priority NP. In the end it doesn't really matter and I guess this is better so every other comment isn't "why defiant?".

the last sentence "Pivots like Zaurde, Cobalion, and Milotic help Thundurus to safely switch into the battlefield, which it often struggles with due to its poor bulk." It should be Zarude
