[OVERVIEW]

Flying
========

Thundurus-T provides Flying teams with exceptional breaking power and an Electric immunity through Volt Absorb. Even with a limited movepool, Nasty Plot allows Thundurus-T to pierce holes through a wide range of types such as Water, Steel, and Flying or outright sweep bulkier teams. Despite being being immune to Electric-type attacks, it can be weakened by common Electric-types like Tapu Koko and Rotom-W. Additionally, the increased use of rain on Water teams has limited its ability to sweep the type.

[SET]
name: Nasty Plot Sweeper
move 1: Nasty Plot
move 2: Thunderbolt
move 3: Grass Knot
move 4: Focus Blast / Substitute
item: Heavy-Duty Boots
ability: Volt Absorb
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
This set permits Thundurus-T to snowball out of control by taking advantage of slower, weakened, or utility Pokemon though Nasty Plot. It's also specifically catered to beating up Water teams, as its Thunderbolt OHKOes or 2HKOes most Water-types, while Grass Knot focuses on eliminating Water's Electric-immune Pokemon such as Gastrodon and Swampert. Focus Blast hits Ice- and Steel-types such as Kyurem and Ferrothorn super effectively, though Substitute is a solid alternative to ease setup on forced switches and passive Pokemon like Toxapex and Corviknight.

Flying teams generally appreciate having Thundurus-T around, as they appreciate its ability to singlehandedly dismantle Water teams while also providing an Electric immunity through Volt Absorb. Skarmory and Celesteela are both solid, physically defensive walls that Thundurus-T appreciates, as they take on Ice- and Rock-types such as Galarian Darmanitan and Terrakion for it. The former can set Spikes to chip away at the foe's health, making it easier for it to break them down, while the latter relies on Leech Seed, Toxic, and Protect to stall them out. Landorus-T partners with Thundurus-T very well, as it alleviates pressure from it as another Electric immunity while providing great utility in the form of Knock Off and Stealth Rock support. It can also pivot with U-turn on its switch-ins like Corviknight to safely bring in Thundurus-T. Hard-hitting physical attackers such as Dragonite and Galarian Zapdos help to muscle through various specially defensive walls that it can't shake, such as Blissey and Dragalge. Mantine can stomach hits from strong special attackers such as Spectrier and Volcarona and provides a much-needed Water immunity. Choice Specs Zapdos and Galarian Moltres break down shared checks with Thundurus-T allowing it to more readily break past types such as Poison, Flying, and Steel.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Flying
--------
Thundurus-T can opt to run Psychic as its last move slot to better deal with Poison-types like Amoonguss and Nidoking; however, it is still walled by Galarian Slowking in the Poison matchup.

Checks and Counters
===================

Flying
--------
**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Naturally specially bulky Pokemon such as Blissey and Galarian Slowking are able to stomach Thundurus-T's unboosted attacks and stop it in its tracks.

**Faster Attackers**: Because of its frailty, faster attackers and hard-hitting priority users such as Spectrier and Dragonite are able to shut it down with little trouble.

[OVERVIEW]

Flying
========

*Thundurus-T provides Flying teams with exceptional breaking power while offering them an Electric immunity through Volt Absorb.
*Even with a (Nitpick - Personally I would rephrase to "Despite its") limited movepool, the combination of Nasty Plot into after reaching +2 any one of its attacks can pierce holes through opposing teams or outright sweep bulkier teams on its own.
*Because (Rephrase, its technically correct to some start a sentence with because but I'd advise against it) Thundurus-T is the premier special attacker and Electric immunity for Flying teams, its ability to pressure foes often is limited to revenge killing opportunities.

name: Nasty Plot Sweeper

move 3: Grass Knot
move 4: Focus Blast / Substitute

[SET COMMENTS]
*This set permits Thundurus-T to snowball out of control by taking advantage of slower, weakened, or utility Pokemon though Nasty Plot boosting.
*It's also specifically catered to beating up Water teams, as its high powered STAB move in Thunderbolt OHKOes or 2HKO's most Water-types, while Grass Knot focuses on eliminating Water's Electric immune Pokemon such as Gastrodon and Swampert.
*Focus Blast hones in on Ice and Steel-types such as Kyurem and Ferrothorn, though Substitute is a solid alternative to allow Thundrus-T to set up easier ensure better set up and breaking power.
*Maximum Special Attack and Speed Iinvestment when coupled with a Timid nature ensures that it hits as hard and as fast as possible.

*Flying teams generally appreciate having Thundurus-T's around, as they both appreciate its ability to singlehandedly dismantle Water teams while also providing an Electric immunity through Volt Absorb.
*Skarmory and Celesteela are both solid, physically defensive walls that Thundurus-T appreciates as they take on Ice and Rock-types such as Galarian Darmanitan and Terrakion for it. The former can set up Spikes to chip away at the foes' health making it easier for it to break them down, while the latter relies on Leech Seed, Toxic, and Protect to stall them out.
*Landorus-T partners with Thundurus-T very well, as it alleviates pressure from it as another Electric immunity, while providing great utility in the form of Knock Off and Stealth Rock support.
*Hard-hitting (AH) physical attackers such as Dragonite and Galarian Zapdos help to muscle through various Specially Defensive walls that it can't shake, such as Blissey and Dragalge. (I love "can't shake" so much)
*Common Defog users in Mandibuzz, Mantine, Tornadus-T, and Zapdos perform various roles which can aid it. The former two can stomach hits from ferocious Sspecial Aattackers such as Spectrier and Volcarona, while the latter two can pivoting through U-turn and Volt Switch respectively, providing Thundurus-T with better opportunities to launch an attack or set up using Nasty Plot boosts.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Flying
--------
*A Choice Scarf variant of Thundurus-T with Volt Switch and Sludge Wave better assist Flying teams in dealing with the likes of Spectrier and Tapu Koko, though the lack of Heavy-Duty Boots makes it susceptible to Stealth Rock upon entry.
Mention Thunder + Weather Ball on Rain teams
Mention Agility as another option, as it can help against more teams by OHKOing threats like Blacephalon after Stealth Rock.

Checks and Counters
===================

Flying
--------
**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Naturally tanky (This is a nitpick, but I just feel like "bulky" works better) Pokemon such as Blissey and Galarian Slowking are able to stomach tank Thundurus-T's unboosted attacks and force it out (as it doesn't want to risk getting Toxic'd or be forced to take an attack) stop it in its tracks.

**Faster Attackers**: Because (See above) of its frail stature, faster attackers or hard hitting priority users such as Spectrier, and Dragonite and *insert priority user* are able to shut it down with little trouble.

**Rock-types**: Rock-types, especially naturally fast ones in Nihilego and Terrakion are able to take advantage of Thundurus-T's middling Speed and can threaten it away with ease, though the latter must worry about Grass Knot and Focus Blast.

9 month anniversary soon omg...

[OVERVIEW]
- i'd expand the nasty plot sentence to provide examples of what types it can pressure (steel, water, etc.)
- you can also talk about its water killer job is weakned because of the rise of rain > balance
- i'd also expand the last bullet to provide examples of things it can revenge kill but not set up on (ex: band urshifu-r)
- also the first part of the last bullet doesn't really make sense with the second part. i don't really know if it's really the best elec immune on flying (lando-t is prob better) but i think you can talk about how it can be weakened having to check mons like rotom-wash and koko

[SET COMMENTS]
- move the water breaking thing to overview, instead talk about the specific mons its coverage hits (grass knot for swampert, gastro, etc.)
- sub doesn't increase power, it's for setting up on defensive mons - change wording, examples would be good too

- mention lando-t u-turning on bulky water / flyings like mantine and corv for thund-t to threaten
- the defog mention doesn't really make sense since the set is boots, maybe just make this two sentences with mantine / mandibuzz and torn-t / zapdos, this way you can also talk about specs zap
- add moltres-g

[OTHER OPTIONS]
- you can remove scarf, this will be its own set
- add psychic (hits poisons like amoonguss / dragalge)

[CHECKS AND COUNTERS]
- remove rock-types, obvious

Thundurus-T provides Flying teams with exceptional breaking power while offering them and an Electric immunity through Volt Absorb. Even with a limited movepool, the combination of Nasty Plot into any one of its attacks can Nasty Plot allows Thundurus-T (this is a less wordy and more clear way of saying your point in my opinion) pierce holes through a wide range of types such as Water, Steel, and Flying or outright sweep bulkier teams. Despite being an electric immunity it can be weakened significantly while checking Pokemon being immune to Electric-type attacks, it can be weakened by common Electric-types like Tapu Koko and Rotom-W. At the same time Additionally, the increased use of rain on Water teams have has limited its ability to sweep through Water teams the type (avoids repetition).

This set permits Thundurus-T to snowball out of control by taking advantage of slower, weakened, or utility Pokemon though Nasty Plot boosting. It's also specifically catered to beating up Water teams, as its high powered STAB move in (I wouldn't really call Thunderbolt "high powered" since it's only 90 BP compared to something like Close Combat or Overheat) Thunderbolt OHKOes or 2HKO's most Water-types, while Grass Knot focuses on eliminating Water's Electric-immune (add hyphen) Pokemon such as Gastrodon and Swampert. Focus Blast hones in on hits Ice- (add hypen) and Steel-types such as Kyurem and Ferrothorn super effectively (nice word choice, but not really the place for "hones in on" sadly), though Substitute is a solid alternative to ensure setting up ease setup on forced switches and passive Pokemon like Toxapex and Corviknight.

Flying teams generally appreciate having Thundurus-T around, as they both appreciate its ability to singlehandedly dismantle Water teams while also providing an Electric immunity through Volt Absorb. Skarmory and Celesteela are both solid, physically defensive walls that Thundurus-T appreciates, (add comma) as they take on Ice- (add hyphen) and Rock-types such as Galarian Darmanitan and Terrakion for it. The former can set up Spikes to chip away at the foe's (move apostrophe) health, (add comma) making it easier for it to break them down, while the latter relies on Leech Seed, Toxic, and Protect to stall them out. Landorus-T partners with Thundurus-T very well, as it alleviates pressure from it as another Electric immunity (remove comma) while providing great utility in the form of Knock Off and Stealth Rock support. It can also U-turn on its switch-ins like Corviknight to safely bring in Thundurus-T into the field. Hard-hitting (add hyphen) physical attackers such as Dragonite and Galarian Zapdos help to muscle through various specially defensive (uncapitalize) walls that it can't shake, such as Blissey and Dragalge. Mantine can stomach hits from ferocious Special Attackers strong special attackers (uncapitalize) such as Spectrier and Volcarona and provides a much-needed (add hyphen) Water immunity. Choice Specs Zapdos proves to be an amazing wallbreaker in matchups like Ground while Galarian Moltres pressures types like Psychic, Ghost, Steel, and Poison consistently well. (This last sentence here seems sort of out of place. It probably needs an intro such as "Thundurus-T enjoys being partnered with special wallbreakers like Choice Specs Zapdos and Galarian Moltres because...")
