[SET COMMENTS]
Paragraph 1:
Thundurus Therian has a great typing in Electric/Flying with lots of coverage and makes sure to keep itself alive with its ability Volt Absorb, making it a great sweeper even without stat boosts. Although, it suffers from getting revenge killed by Ash Greninja making it a poor option in National Dex OU. This set makes sure it wont get one shot by a Hydro Pump from Choice Specs Ash Greninja in order to make it more viable. Having both electric and ice type attacks make sure there are no Pokemon that resist an attack from Thundurus Therian besides Magnezone which you can OHKO with Focus Blast. This moveset is also very good against rain teams being able to take an un-boosted Ice Punch from Mega Swampert and being able to OHKO back with Grass Knot, killing Peliper with Thunderbolt, taking no damage from Thunder, and being able to 3HKO even specially defensive Ferrothorn with Focus Blast and resisting its attacks. If you don't have a problem with rain teams, U-Turn or Volt Switch can be more useful to switch into other sweeper Pokemon more reliably. The EV spread on this team is a very basic fast special sweeper making sure it can OHKO and outspeed lots of Pokemon.

Paragraph 2:
Corviknight and Toxapex benefit greatly from this Pokemon because it can easily switch in on electric and ground attacks and possibly OHKO whatever was threatening those Pokemon. For rock and ice type attacks, Steel type Pokemon resist both and most of the time can easily OHKO back. Blissey, Chansey, and specially defensive Heatran get checked by physical attacking Fighting types. Stealth rocks completely ruin the point of this Pokemon so defogger's like Corviknight are needed.

Other Options
===================

Dark Pulse can help if you want to make sure a switch in from Toxapex is guaranteed to always work out, but sacrificing a move for this isn't very good. Thunder can be used to counter rain teams even more reliably but if you aren't facing a rain team its not a good option. Flash Cannon checks bulky Fairy types like Clefable and Tapu Lele but its not as good as switching into a Steel type sweeper Pokemon like Z-Move Heatran.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Ash Greninja on a rain team**: The point of this set is to not get OHKO'ed by Choice Specs Greninja but if it's in the rain it easily OHKO's Thundurus Therian.

**Protean Greninja**: Although this set isn't as viable as Choice Specs, it still can OHKO Thundurus Therian with an Ice Beam.

**Ash Greninja with Ice Beam**: Although it isn't as viable again, Choice Specs Ash Greninja OHKO's Thundurus Therian with an Ice Beam.

**Specially defensive walls**: Specially defensive walls like Blissey and Heatran wall off Thundurus Therian from doing damage and can easily stall it out with Magma Storm or Toxic and Seismic Toss.

**Mega Charizard X**: Mega Charizard X resists all of Thundurus Therians moves besides Focus Blast and easily can OHKO it with Flare Blitz.

**Weavile**: Weavile outspeeds Thundurus Therian and can easily OHKO it with Icicle Crash.

**Mega Venasaur**: Mega Venasaur resists every attack from Thundurus Therian besides Hidden Power Ice which it can tank due to Thick Fat.

Hello! Thundurus-T has already received an analysis, and you didn’t reserve it in the reservation thread. Regardless, AV Thundurus-T isn’t viable, so I’m locking this.
