Scenarios
Trainers have been disappearing at an alarming rate, traveling has become incredibly unsafe, and people don't really know what to blame. All they know is that it's the same island causing all these disappearances, Milos Island. Being the stupid curious person you are, you decide to take it upon yourself to take a ride to Milos Island and figure out what is going on. Rumors are circulating that this could be work of the Pokemon bound to that island, but there's no reason as to why they would've awakened once more.

As you near the island, you see that the entire island is engulfed in a multi-layered storm underneath a menacing cloud. And although it's very far away, you catch a glimpse of some large Pokemon in the sky having an argument. Do you continue?

Player Options
Onwards! (Proceed to A Villain's Welcome)
Run away! (End the TLR)
You decide that you want to investigate further, potentially even get your hands on those Pokemon. You arrive at the coast of the island, very far away from the large Pokemon, so you begin working your way inland. As you move, you hear a voice:

???: "Trespassers are not allowed here! Begone at once!"

You decide that you are already too far in since you decided to dock anyways. You continue moving and you see that the paths are split by a strong thicket.

Player Options
Go left
Go right

IF Go left

You go around the thicket to the left, and to no surprise the voice beckons once more:

???: "If I cannot convince you to leave, perhaps this will."

These words echo somehow through the canopy above you. Suddenly, your team is blasted with incredibly sharp winds that bring you all to a halt. You take a moment to catch a breather and then proceed onwards, completely ignoring the warning of the boisterous voice.

[REF NOTE] All active Pokemon are hit by a R5 STAB Air Cutter with no spread penalty that is at +2 to crit rather than the normal +1 and cannot miss.

ELSE

You go around the thicket to the right, and once more the voice booms:

???: "Your insistence will not go unpunished!"

As those words echo through the canopy above you, your team is suddenly ambushed by a series of dropping Pokemon that sprung back into the canopy before you even had a chance to react to them. After a moment of breathing you keep moving forwards.

[REF NOTE] All active Pokemon are hit by a R5 STAB Bounce that cannot miss and has a 50% chance to paralyze each target.

ENDIF

[REF NOTE] Proceed to The Frozen Ring
As you march forward beyond the thicket, you feel the twinkle of snow all around you, even though it is still raining. You wonder to yourself what type of storm this is where suddenly you've got wet snow falling out of nowhere. As you go from small meadow slightly layered with snow to the rest of the snowstorm, you end up under a canopy where you hear a lot of little chattering. Paranoid about the chattering, you jump when you hear a new voice boom:

???: "Show our unwanted guest the door!"

In response to the dominant command, a trio of Delibird drop from the canopy above, eager to fight.

[REF NOTE] Initiate Nest Combat vs 3 Delibird. Arena: Frosted Nest

After dispatching the Delibird, you tend to your team's wounds and head forward to see what else is on the way to those legendary Pokemon.

[REF NOTE] Give reprieve, then proceeed to The Shining Ring
Moving onwards, the weather seems to have changed again. This time it's just sunny, and it really makes no sense. Like, clear cut sunny, even though the rest of the area is shrouded in darkness. No matter, you still don't see the legends yet, so you know you need to keep moving forward. As you move into the next canopy, the canopy spreads at the top and you see one of the legends:

Thundurus: "Enough! Guards, have these intruders dispatched at once!"

With that, the canopy closes back up, and suddenly a Tomohawk and Hawlucha descend from above, ready to make you regret ever entering.

[REF NOTE] Initiate Guardian Combat vs Hawlucha and Tomohawk. Arena: Sunswept Canopy

Having dealt with the guards, you realize that was Thundurus you saw, and you continue chasing onwards after a breather.

[REF NOTE] Give reprieve, then proceed to Mountain Shrine
As you continue moving towards where you saw the legends at when you originally landed on the island, you realize that the storm is starting to get more tempestuous, which means you have to be getting closer. In fact, it's so tempestuous that some of the canopies start to topple from the sheer wind speeds. While hauling ass through the storm you spot a cave underneath a mountain to hide in.

When you enter the mountain, you almost run straight into a deep pool of water. Peering at the water, you spot a family of Dewgong and Seel playing around in the water. They come up to the surface when they notice that you are watching them, and they come up eager to play. Your Pokemon instantly join them, and suddenly there's a moshpit of playful Pokemon in front of you. You are tempted to join in, but out of the corner of your eye, you see something floating in the water that looks within your reach.

Player Options
Join the playing Pokemon
Retrieve the floating object from the water

IF Join the playing Pokemon

You decide to join the playful pit, and the Dewgong begin splashing all of you with water. You're taken aback by this, but your Pokemon are refreshed by it. After you finish playing, you leave the cave feeling better and are now ready to continue on your journey as the storm outside temporarily subsides.

[REF NOTE] All Active Pokemon restore 10 HP and 10 EN

ELSE

Instead joining in, you stray off to the side for a little bit to reach into the water, trying to grab what you've figured out is a bag. When you successfully retrieve the bag, you find a Potion and an Ether inside. As you finish all of this up the Pokemon have separated and now you are feeling ready to continue your journey forward as the storm outside temporarily subsides.
[REF NOTE] Add a Potion and an Ether to the trainer's backpack

ENDIF

[REF NOTE] Give reprieve, then proceed to Eye of the Storm
On your way out of the cave you spot a curiously elegant mirror at the entrance that you must have missed entirely on your way in.

Player Options
Pick up the Reveal Glass
Don't pick up the Reveal Glass

IF Pick up the Reveal Glass

You decide to pick up the mirror, because it totally can't hurt, and then you proceed into the giant storm in front of you.

ELSE

Deciding that the mirror might cause you some unwanted trouble, you just walk into the storm ahead of you.

ENDIF

[REF NOTE] Player only keeps Reveal Glass if they take it upon capture of one of the Forces of Nature
======
Walking forward, you realize that this storm is three times as intense as anything you encountered on the way here, it's absolutely brutal to walk through and it hurts a little bit. As you keep walking you bump into an altar that you barely could see beforehand, which causes the weather to temporarily clear above you. You take a breath of relief as the storm stops, but suddenly it gets really dark above you, so you look upwards.

Landorus: "You are a fool to not have heeded our warnings earlier. Now we will strike you down ourselves!"

Your Pokemon quickly spring out to prepare for battle, as the storm comes back in, and the battle begins!

[REF NOTE] Begin Boss Combat vs Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus. All three of them count as bosses for the sake of turn order. Arena: Tainted Altar. If the player picked up the Reveal Glass at the beginning of this RP, the final effect of the arena is also in effect.

Having captured <Tornadus/Thundurus/Landorus>, the remaining Forces of Nature arise from their previously knocked out state, and out of respect for your capabilities, disarray the storm and depart back into the heavens once more. The <Tornadus/Thundurus/Landorus> you captured offers you a ride back to the mainland, and you agree, pondering on how you are going to tell this story to your friends later that night.
