Pet Mod To The Gigantamax! V2 (Slate 19: Anything Goes - Voting Phase)

hey, i think incin and volc are overpowered, but gyara is underpowered. having an 135 spa mon with an good offensive typing and 2. stab is pretty powerful. also, incin with power trip sets may become too powerful even for the land of zacian and eternatus. also, having to cut your max hp to do an simple +1 in attack and speed is too much, lower the health loss or make it so no health is lost
You are right about the Volcarona-Gmax, but some counterpoints on Incineroar-Gmax:

1. Nobody even runs Power Trip on Incineroar.
2. I didn’t say it will CUT its HP in the G-Max move. I said it will raise all of its stats by 1 stage, without needing to cut the HP.

1: they might run, since its basically stored power polt ×3
2: im talking abt gyara

For Incineroar, I'm going to have to agree with kakaks here. With a tool that a allows Incineroar to boost all of its stats at once, Power Trip would easily become Incineroar best STAB and we 1 or 2 omniboosts, it would just melt things, basically requiring every team to run one or more of Ditto, Quagsire, or Marshadow when Ubers teambuilding can already be restrictive as is. If wasn't for Power Trip, this would almost not be broken, but the existence of Sash Marshadow also makes any omniboost sub concerning as a Sash Marshadow can come in, take the hit, Spectral Thief and is even more broken than the thing it stole those boosts from. I'd recommend lowering the number of stats boosted at the same to 3 or less.

I'd also be on the look out for Gyarados, as getting a free Dragon Dance for something that's already a very good Ubers Dynamaxer is a bit concerning. I won't call it broken yet, but if it wins, I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being broken.

My subs

:sm/obstagoon: (partial resub)
Pokemon: Obstagoon
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Dark/Fighting
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Breakdown
G-Max Move Type: Dark
G-Max Move Description: Burns every Pokemon on the field including the user
Competitive Overview: This Max Move allows Guts Obstagoon to hold another item like a Choice Band or Black Glasses while still allowing it to activate Guts, which makes it effectively more powerful and allows it to run a different move other than Obstruct in it's 4th slot, like a coverage move or Parting Shot. Plus, a new secondary Fighting-typing gives Max Knuckle to extra oomf it needs to deal real damage while having better coverage than Normal.

:sm/flygon:
Pokemon: Flygon
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ground/Bug
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Kaleidoscope
G-Max Move Type: Bug
G-Max Move Description: This move deals damage as if the user has the ability Tinted Lens and raises the user's accuracy by 1
Competitive Overview: With a pseudo-Tinted Lens effect, G-Max Kaleidoscope in combination with Max Quake can hit the majority of the Ubers tier for at least strong neutral damage, with the only exceptions on the VR being Corviknight and Togekiss. This gives Flygon a good chance to sweep if it can get one or two DDances off, while also giving it the option to run First Impression for revenge killing or U-Turn for momentum if a sweep isn't possible yet.

:sm/haxorus:
Pokemon: Haxorus
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Dragon/Ground
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Terra Cutter
G-Max Move Type: Ground
G-Max Move Description: Raises the user's critical hit ratio by 1 and lowers the target's Defense by 1
Competitive Overview: This Max Move mostly exists to punish Zacian and Magearna (and, to a lesser extent, Clefable) for thinking they can switch into its Dragon moves while threatening Quagsire with Defense drops. Plus, a boost in critical ratio can't hurt.

:sm/polteageist:
Pokemon: Polteageist
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ghost/Grass
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Green Tea
G-Max Move Type: Grass
G-Max Move Description: Burns the target
Competitive Overview: A variation on one of the winners from To The Gigantamax V1, G-Max Green Tea allows Polteageist to ignore the opponent's Focus Sashes in their attempts to stop a sweep while weakening their physical moves, which makes it easier to activate Weak Armor and accumulate more boosts for Stored Power

Pokemon: Galarian Rapidash
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Psychic/Ground
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Land Tremble
G-Max Move Type: Ground
G-Max Move Description: Boosts the user's Speed stat by 2 stages
Competitive Overview: Psychic Terrain + STAB Speed boost is a cool combo. Ground STAB lets it plow through the numerous Steel-types in the Ubers tier such as Zacian-C and Necrozma-DM. Psychic Terrain gives it priority to immunity, meaning it will make the most out of its Speed boost. Said terrain also gives Galarian Rapidash's primary STAB more firepower.

Voting has ended!

Flygon - 4
Obstagoon - 1
Rapidash-G - 4
Haxorus - 1

Slate 5: Anything Goes (not the tier)
:sm/kyurem-black::sm/darmanitan-galar::sm/dracovish:
Since slate 5 is a milestone, why not have a simple anything goes slate?
Any Pokemon not on the Ubers Dynamax Banlist can be subbed for this slate
Despite the name of the slate, keep the G-Max forms at Ubers power level

Subs end on October 1st

Can we resub? If so:
Pokemon: :mawile:
Typing: Steel-Normal
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Gluttony
G-Max Move Type: Normal
Description: If this move is successful, all Pokemon on the field that are holding a consumable Berry lose the Berry, but Mawile's HP is restored proportionally to the amount of Berries lost in this manner. This includes Mawile, so be careful!
1 Berry: 5% of max
2 Berries: 10% of max
3 Berries: 15% of max
4 Berries: 20% of max
Competitive description: Calling back to its roots in the yokai Futakuchi-Onna (an otherwise-normal woman with two mouths), this Pokemon is ready to dine at will! Designed for doubles, it gets rid of pesky Berries and restores its HP as well. Combine with things like Harvest or Unburden for a combo plate of recovery and offense.
If not:
Pokemon: :sableye:
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Meddling
G-Max Move Type: Ghost
Effect: 10% chance for any of the following to happen (always activates, only one will ever activate per use):
Seeds, Stealth Rock, Electric Terrain, Grassy Terrain, Psychic Terrain, Misty Terrain, Light Screen, Reflect, Defog, Pain Split
Competitive Description: WIP

Catch The Wave

:ss/Darmanitan:
Pokemon: Darmanitan
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Fire
G-Max Move Name: Flare Downpour
G-Max Move Type: Fire
G-Max Move Description: Sets up Sun, raises Speed by 1 stage, Melts Hazards (removes them)
Competitive Overview: Multiple things have to be done to make Darmanitan worthy of taking the Dynamax spot in the team, I believe Sheer Force doesn't work on Dynamax moves? Faster, stronger, hazard removal to turn the battle in its favour.

252 Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Darmanitan Flare Downpour vs. 252 HP / 200 Def Eternatus: 199-234 (41.1 - 48.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Black Sludge recovery

This is enough damage to make it scary.

:ss/darmanitan-galar:
Pokemon: Darmanitan-Galar
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ice
G-Max Move Name: Sharpened Iceberg
G-Max Move Type: Ice
G-Max Move Description: Sets up Hail, raises speed by 1 stage
Competitive Overview: This helps Galarmanitan become powerful with better usage of Gorilla Tactics and striking first to avoid damage. Hail helps in chip damage for breaking Sash.

:lucario-mega:
Pokemon: Lucario
Type of the Gigantamax Form:
Max Knuckle - Fighting-type
,
Max Steelspike - Steel-type

G-Max Move Name: G-Max Aura Strike
G-Max Move Type: Fight
G-Max Move Description: Burns the target, regular max move power instead of fighting/poison max move power.
Competitive Overview: Most of lucario's switch-ins are physical attackers, so burning them would make sense. Also, lucario has access to swords dance that it can use instead of Max Knuckle.
:dragapult:
Pokemon: Dragapult
Type of the Gigantamax Form:
Max Wyrmwind - Dragon-type
,
Max Phantasm - Ghost-type

G-Max Move Name: G-Max Missilaunch
G-Max Move Type: Dragon
G-Max Move Description: Ignores the opponents stat changes.
Competitive Overview: It's the same reason quagsire's so strong.
:gyarados-mega:
Pokemon: Gyarados
Type of the Gigantamax Form:
Max Geyser - Water-type
,
Max Wyrmwind - Dragon-type

G-Max Move Name: G-Max River Rage
G-Max Move Type:
Max Geyser - Water-type

G-Max Move Description: Removes the opponent's positive stat changes.
Competitive Overview: Stopping setup sweepers.

Pokemon:Magearna
Type of the gigantamax form: Fairy/Steel
G-Max Move type: Fairy
G-Max Move name: G-Max Enchanted Mechanism
G-Max Move description: Raises by one stage a random stat. This move gain a +10 in the move's base power for each boost.
Competitive overview: just the classic storeed power set that benefit of max steelspike, iron defense, calm mind and others.

:ss/scizor:
Type of the gigantamax form: Bug/Steel
G-Max move type: Bug
G-Max move name: G-Max Bug shield
G-Max move description: If the target uses a Fire-type move this turn, it is prevented from executing and the target loses 1/4 of its maximum HP, rounded half up.
Competitive overview: powder is back and now combined with max airstream (dual wing beat) can outspeed pokemon with fire moves and do 25% and no one can really hit this man. This seems a very good gigamax form!

I'd recommend making scizor bug steel and changing the max move's name.

These subs are fine, but the rules state that all subs must retain their primary typing, so in this case, Mawile would have to be Steel/Normal and Sableye would have to be Dark in you were to make it monotype. The confusion probably came from me specifying that rule last slate which made it sound like a slate specific rule, so I get the confusion, but just change it up before voting opens and you'll be good
Type of the Gigantamax Form: A new addition to To The Gigantamax that isn't done for any Gigantamax form in the base game, added to make the mod more interesting and make it easier to give niches to non-Ubers Pokemon. All Gigantamax forms must retain the base Pokemon's primary type
:ss/scizor:
Type of the gigantamax form: bug
G-Max move type: Bug/Steel
G-Max move name: G-Max I have no ideas
G-Max move description: If the target uses a Fire-type move this turn, it is prevented from executing and the target loses 1/4 of its maximum HP, rounded half up.
There's nothing wrong with the actual sub, just be sure to think of a name for the G-Max Move before voting starts. Also, I assume you meant to put Bug in the G-Max Move Type section and Bug/Steel in the Type of the Gigantamax form section, since they're reversed right now

Subs

Pokemon: Zarude
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Dark/Grass
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Harvest
G-Max Move Type: Dark
G-Max Move Description: Heals the user by 50% of the damage dealt and heals the user's status conditions
Competitive Overview: G-Max Harvest allows Zarude to keep itself healthy while Dynamaxed, making it a viable choice to Dynamax even if it's weakened earlier in the battle. This also makes it much harder to revenge kill and this combined with Max Knuckle or Bulk Up to boost Attack and Max Airstream (Acrobatics) to boost speed, a healthy Zarude after 3 turns can becomes a nasty sweeper
:sm/kyurem-black:
Pokemon: Kyurem-Black
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Dragon/Ice
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Future Shock
G-Max Move Type: Ice
G-Max Move Description: 50% chance to paralyze the opponent
Competitive Overview: Kyurem-Black is the only Uber that is not on the Ubers Dynamax banlist that hasn't been subbed yet this slate, but it's also of the best if not the best Dynamaxer in the tier, so I couldn't go too crazy with the effect. An Ice-type move that paralyzes makes the most sense flavor wise, though I made it a 50% chance to keep it a bit in check, making it enticing enough to be preferable to setting Hail but not broken.
:sm/decidueye:
Pokemon: Decidueye
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Grass/Ghost
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Arrow Raid
G-Max Move Type: Ghost
G-Max Move Description: Hard coded to 160 BP and traps the opponent
Competitive Overview: G-Max Arrow Raid patches up Decidueye's pretty weak-by-Ubers-standard 107 Attack by giving it a great 160 BP STAB move to throw around after a Swords Dance while it naturally threatens the best Unaware user, Quagsire, thanks to its Grass STAB. This combined with Brave Bird to provide Max Airstream can enable a Decidueye sweep
:sm/incineroar:
Pokemon: Incineroar
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Fire
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Moonsault
G-Max Move Type: Dark
G-Max Move Description: Hard coded to 160 BP, sets the Encore effect on the opponent and the Lucky Chant effect on the user's team
Competitive Overview: Incineroar is all about utility from Knock Off, to Will-O-Wisp, to Parting Shot, to Intimidate, so a G-Max move that allows it to leave a dent in something while possibly shutting it down with an Encore, while adding some flavorful utility in Lucky Chant, which may come in handy against Urshifu

Subs will end later today

Pokemon: Clefable
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Fairy
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Mooncake
G-Max Move Type: Fairy
G-Max Move Description: User heals itself half of its dynamaxed max HP and cures the whole team from status conditions.
Competitive Overview: Used as a clutch move if Clefable wants to heal itself while needing to deal damage in one turn. The status cure by Clefable provides great support for the team.

:porygon-z:
Pokemon: Porygon-Z
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Flying / Normal (missingno reference)
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Error
G-Max Move Type: Normal
G-Max Move Description: A random effect is applied to the enemy(es), such as Heal Block, Paralysis, Attraction, etc
Competitive Overview: Annoyance to the well, Gigantamax.
