Toedscool is a surprising favourite in Little Cup! Even though 4 attacks renders Mycelium Might redundant, Knock Off and Rapid Spin allow it to provide utility as hazard control and threaten setters such as Diglett, Glimmet and Mudbray. With its high base power STAB moves, Toedscool can pressure offensive Pokemon like Pawniard and Quaxly with Earth Power and Power Whip. 196 Speed helps Toedscool outspeed these common encounters, 116 Attack allows it to 2HKO Bramblin with Knock Off and 156 Defence can help it survive 2 hits from Physical Girafarig. Tera Water is useful for Toedscool, as it can resist Tera Ice Magnemite's Tera Blast on the first turn as well as resisting Pawniard's Iron Head and Buizel's Ice Spinner. On top of this, Tera Water removes Toedscool's weakness to Quaxly's Brave Bird and Houndour's Flamethrower.
