[OVERVIEW]

Fairy
========

Togekiss has decent bulk, a good defensive typing that provides a Ground immunity, and access to Roost, which ensures it can keep itself healthy throughout the game and stick around as a valuable team member. A good Special Attack stat helps it deal decent damage, and with access to Aura Sphere and Fire Blast, Babiri Berry Togekiss can be a good emergency check to Steel-types such as Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor. Air Slash allows it to deal with Mega Venusaur, a Pokemon that Fairy teams struggle with because of its bulk and typing. However, Togekiss struggles to deal significant damage to some threats because its best set is focused on taking on Steel teams. Togekiss also struggles to beat Celesteela, which is being used more over Skarmory on Steel-type teams thanks to its special bulk. Furthermore, Togekiss has a hard time finding a slot on Fairy teams because Clefable fills a similar role and has access to Stealth Rock, better bulk, and the ability Magic Guard, which means it can serve as a status absorber and ignore hazards; therefore, with all these traits, it is often more useful than Togekiss in many matchups.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Fire Blast allows Togekiss to take care of Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, and Excadrill after some chip damage. Aura Sphere gives Togekiss a way to hit Heatran and Bisharp. Air Slash is key for taking on Mega Venusaur. Roost allows Togekiss to restore its health, allowing it to stay around long enough to help Fairy teams with difficult matchups like Grass and Steel.

Set Details
========

A Timid nature backed by 176 Speed EVs are used to outpace key Pokemon like Bisharp and Adamant Diggersby. 252 HP EVs is important for Togekiss to take a boosted Bullet Punch from Mega Scizor with the help of its Babiri Berry. The rest of its EVs go into Special Attack to ensure defensive Mega Scizor is taken down by Fire Blast. Serene Grace gives Air Slash more of a chance to flinch Pokemon with each hit.

Usage Tips
========

Use Togekiss to your advantage in the Steel-type matchup, as the coverage it gets from Fire Blast and Aura Sphere creates a guessing game to whether or not it will predict the switch to Heatran. Togekiss should keep itself healthy with Roost and pressure most Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Skarmory, but it has to be wary of Excadrill and Magnezone outpacing and KOing it. In the Grass-type matchup, Togekiss is able to pressure most Grass-types like Mega Venusaur and Ferrothorn with Air Slash and Fire Blast. Keep it healthy with Roost when facing resisted attacks from Tapu Bulu, passive Pokemon like Toxapex, or a predicted switch. Togekiss should switch into resisted attacks like Tapu Bulu's Horn Leech for its teammates or attacks that Togekiss is immune to like Hippowdon's Earthquake. Air Slash can be used to wear down Pokemon that Togekiss's teammates struggle with like Hippowdon and Mega Venusaur. Try to preserve Togekiss's Babiri Berry if Mega Scizor is alive because Togekiss cannot take its boosted Bullet Punch once the Babiri Berry has been used. Be careful around common Pokemon that use status moves, as Togekiss getting burned by Will-O-Wisp from Rotom-W or badly poisoned by Toxic from Chansey and Porygon2 make it difficult to keep itself healthy. Thunder Wave from Pokemon like Porygon2 and Klefki will make Togekiss unable to have a chance to outspeed anything or cause flinches with Air Slash.

Team Options
========

Tapu Koko can take care of troubling Flying-types like Celesteela and Mantine that wall Togekiss and assist in pivoting to get in Togekiss on a predicted switch. Choice Scarf Tapu Bulu can help deal with Rock- and Electric-type Pokemon that threaten Togekiss like Tyranitar and Tapu Koko. Tapu Bulu can also use a Swords Dance + Substitute set to help break specially defensive Pokemon like Toxapex and Chansey. Azumarill can perform an important role in the Poison and Steel matchup as a wallbreaker with Z-Belly Drum; Jolly Return variants can take care of Mega Venusaur if Togekiss gets too worn down and can also help clean up in the Steel matchup after Mega Scizor is gone. Mega Diancie sets down Stealth Rock to help Togekiss wear down Mega Venusaur and can also help to keep Stealth Rock from being set thanks to its ability, Magic Bounce. Klefki can provide support in the form of Light Screen and Reflect, which can help Togekiss stay healthy longer and pressure Steel-types more safely. Klefki can also set up Spikes and slow down Pokemon with Thunder Wave, which can help Togekiss take on faster Pokemon like Latios and Greninja. Foul Play Klefki can help check Swords Dance Mega Scizor if Togekiss is unable to. Clefable can be used to set Stealth Rock to wear down Pokemon like Tapu Koko and Alolan Raichu and soak up status for its teammates. It can also be used as a Calm Mind sweeper if Mega Diancie is already being used for Stealth Rock. Life Orb Swords Dance Mimikyu can use its Ghost-type STAB attacks to help with the Psychic matchup and take down Pokemon that Togekiss struggles with like Gengar.

Fairy
--------

Togekiss can run a Choice Scarf set with maximum Special Attack and Speed EVs to outpace Pokemon such as Mega Gallade and Keldeo and use Trick to lock passive Pokemon like Chansey, Celesteela or Mantine into one move; however, Choice Scarf Togekiss cannot keep itself healthy throughout the game and will get worn down easily by Stealth Rock.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fairy
--------

**Steel-types**: When Togekiss's Babiri Berry is gone, Mega Scizor can take it out and sweep its team after one Swords Dance. Other Steel-types like Excadrill and Magnezone also thrive once Babiri Berry has been used, as they outpace Togekiss and easily OHKO with Iron Head and Flash Cannon.

**Super Effective Coverage**: Electric-, Rock- and Ice-types like Zeraora, Terrakion, and Alolan Ninetales easily take care of Togekiss with their STAB moves.

**Special Walls**: Specially defensive Pokemon like Chansey and Mantine easily wall Togekiss. These Pokemon need only be wary of the rare Choice Scarf Togekiss, as it could be running Trick.

**Stealth Rock**: Stealth Rock cripples Togekiss by taking 1/4 of its health each time it switches in.

**Status**: Togekiss is hindered by any type of status, as being burned or poisoned by Rotom-W or Chansey slowly drains it of its health, even with Roost. Additionally, Thunder Wave from Jirachi prevents it from moving first.

Fairy
========

* Togekiss has a good Special Attack stat backed up by a good Special Defense stat, decent HP stat and access to Roost that make it a good option to use.
* Thanks to its item, Babiri Berry, its decent HP stat, and Defense stat, and access to moves such as Aura Sphere and Fire Blast, Togekiss can be a good check to Steel-types such as Ferrothorn, Heatran, and Mega Scizor. Makes much more sense to combine this bullet and the one two sentences below.
* Due to its Flying-typing Togekiss can deal with Mega Venusaur, a Pokemon that Fairy struggle with. How so?
* Its coverage from getting both Aura Sphere and Fire Blast allows it to take care of most Steel-types like Heatran and Ferrothorn. See above.
* However, its Flying-typing makes Togekiss Stealth Rock weak, and will limit how many times it can come in.
* Due to its Speed tier, the Choice Scarf set gets outspeed by the likes of Kyurem-B, Infernape, and Terrakion. What? Kyurem-B and Infernape sparsely run Choice Scarf; this point doesn't even belong here but it's incorrect especially when you've mentioned Choice Scarf as the item here.
* Togekiss is outclassed by Clefable due to it having access to Stealth Rock, better bulk, and the ability Magic Guard that can serve as an status absorber as well as not worry about hazards because of its ability.

* Fire Blast allows Togekiss to take care of Mega Scizor, a dangerous threat to Fairy, as well as other Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, Jirachi and Excadrill after some chip.
* Aura Sphere gives Togekiss a way to hit Heatran as well as OHKOing Bisharp.
* Air Slash is important to have as its key to take care of Mega Venusaur. How so?
* Roost allows Togekiss to restore its health, allowing it to stay around longer in important difficult matchups like Grass and Steel.

Set Details
========

* A Timid nature backed by 176 Speed EVs to outpace key Pokemon like Breloom and Bisharp.
* 248 HP EVs is important for Togekiss to live an unboosted Bullet Punch from Mega Scizor as well as reducing Stealth Rock damage to it.
* Its item Babiri Berry allows Togekiss to act as a check to Mega Scizor after a Swords Dance as it halves the damage taken from its Bullet Punch.
*Mention Serene Grace being a strong ability by way of doubled secondary effects; in this case, extremely potent Air Slash flinching.

Usage Tips
========

* Use Togekiss in the Steel-type matchup as its coverage it gets from Fire Blast and Aura Sphere, as well as being able to Roost allows it to take on most Steel-types.
* Switch into Togekiss on a resisted attack like Tapu Bulu's Horn Leech or attacks that it is immune to like Hippowdon's Earthquake.
* Try to keep Togekiss from taking a Steel-type move if Mega Scizor is alive as Togekiss cannot take a Mega Scizor's Bullet Punch once boosted. Specifically mention that you're preserving the Babiri Berry mainly for Mega Scizor.
* Be careful around common Thunder Wave Pokemon like Klefleki and Porygon2 as this will slow down Togekiss and will not be able to outspeed anything.

Team Options
========

* Tapu Koko can take care of troubling Flying-types like Celesteela, and Mantine that wall Togekiss as well as assists in pivoting to get in Togekiss on a predicted switch.
* Tapu Bulu can help with Rock- and Electric-type Pokemon that threaten Togekiss like Tyranitar and Tapu Koko.
* Azumarill can perform an important role in the Poison and Steel match up as a Jolly Return set can take care of Mega Venusaur if Togekiss gets too worn down and unable to take care of it as well as help clean up in the Steel match up after Mega Scizor is gone. What specifically is the role here?
* Mega Diancie can be useful to set down Stealth Rock to help Togekiss score important KOs against Celesteela and Mega Venusaur as well as help with Pokemon that Togekiss struggle with like Kyurem-B, Mega Charizard Y and Zapdos.
* Klefiki can provide support thanks to having access to Light Screen, and Reflect as well as setting up Spikes and slowing down Pokemon with Thunder Wave which can help Togekiss take care of faster Pokemon like Infernape and Greninja as well as reduce damage that Togekiss takes thanks to Light Screen and Reflect. This sentence is far too lengthy; break this down into smaller bits and pieces.
*Add Clefable.
*Add Mimikyu.

Moves
========

* Fire Blast is used to break Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Excadrill locked in to Earthquake and Mega Scizor.
* Aura Sphere is for Togekiss to beat Steel-types like Bisharp and not worrying about a miss as well as Heatran since it is immune to Fire Blast.
* Air Slash can threaten Grass-, Bug-, Psychic- and Fighting-types like Mega Venusaur, Tapu Bulu, Buzzwole, Mega Gallade, and Keldeo.
* Trick is used to make common walls like Chansey, Mantine, and Celesteela locked into the first move it uses.
* Dazzling Gleam can be used over Trick to have Fairy STAB to be able to OHKO common Dragon- and Dark-types like Kommo-o, Kyurem B, Mega Sableye, and Hydreigon. In the context of Fairy teams w/ Mega Diancie, Mimikyu and Clefable, I hardly find this necessary.

Set Details
========

* Choice Scarf with a Timid nature allows Togekiss to outpace most of the metagame par faster Choice Scarfers like Latios and Terrakion. Mention the EV investment as well.
*Again, mention Serene Grace as a powerful tool; specifically here by way of Air Slash flinching.

Usage Tips
========

* Use Togekiss to take care of slower Choice Scarfers like Tapu Bulu and Magnezone and faster Pokemon like non-Choice Scarf Greninja, (that's rather rare to see) Mega Gallade, and Excadrill that is locked into Earthquake.
* Bring Togekiss in on a predicted Ground-type attack or from a resisted attack like Heracross's Megahorn.
* Time Trick to get troubling walls like Celesteela, Ferrothorn, Mantine and Chansey and force them to lock into one move.
*Mention how you can lead with Togekiss and cripple foes early through Tricking its Choice Scarf.
* Do not keep Togekiss to take a status move from common Pokemon like Mantine, Chansey and Porygon2 as this will put a timer on Togekiss either from Toxic or Thunder Wave. Seperate Toxic and Thunder Wave and explain how they harm Togekiss. This is currently written in a way that makes it seem that Paralysis deals residual damage, which isn't true.

Team Options
========

* Tapu Koko gives Togekiss relief against troubling Flying-types like Celesteela and Mantine. With Taunt, Tapu Koko can shut down walls like Poygon2, Chansey and Toxapex and Stealth Rock users like Skarmory, Torkoal and Empoleon which Togekiss appreciates.
* Tapu Bulu can help with Rock-types that Togekiss struggle with like Tyranitar, Mega Diancie, and Terrakion if it is not locked into Poison Jab or Iron Head. Tapu Bulu can also turn into a powerful wallbreaker with Substitute and Swords Dance to help take care of walls that Togekiss struggles with like Chansey.
* Azumarill can serve a powerful wallbreaker thanks to Z-Belly Drum that deals with most Steel-types thanks to Aqua Jet. Togekiss likes this as if it is low on health after taking care of Mega Scizor, Azumarill can finish up the remaining Steel-types. Generalize Azumarill as a potent setup sweeper; it has much more premise than just the Steel matchup.
* Mega Diancie is important to pressure hazard settlers with its Magic Bounce and Togekiss likes this because it means Stealth Rock will be not be on the field to cripple it. Mega Diancie can also put down Stealth Rock to pressure Pokemon and can limit how many times a Pokemon can come in.
* Klefiki helps with its Light Screen and Reflect being extended with Light Clay to keep damage off its teammates. Togekiss needs this due to the fact it cannot Roost to keep itself healthy from it being Choice Scarf. Klefiki can also Thunder Wave faster Pokemon that Togekiss cannot outspeed like Victini and Greninja and also pairs well with Togekiss’s Air Slash as it means there is more of a chance that the opposing Pokemon cannot move. Spikes help pressure Steel-types and can help Togekiss with getting KOs on Heatran and Ferrothorn without taking damage back.
*Add Clefable.
*Add Mimikyu.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options

Fairy
--------
* Togekiss can run Defog over Trick on the Choice Scarf set to take care of Hazards that got set due to Mega Diancie either not being Mega evolved, or has fainted, however, this means that it cannot trick important walls like Chansey, Celesteela or Mantine.
* Togekiss on the Babiri Berry set can run Thunder Wave over Aura Sphere to paralyze troubling fast Pokemon like Infernape and Latios, however, this means that Togekiss cannot take care of Pokemon like Bisharp and Heatran .
* A set with Nasty Plot, Roost, Air Slash, and Fire Blast can be used with Leftovers to make Togekiss a dangerous set up sweeper, however, this means that it will not have Babiri berry and will be unable to check Mega Scizor after a Swords Dance. The lack of Babiri berry and the inability to hit effectively Heatran is also huge.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fairy
--------
**Electric-types**: Zeraora, Tapu Koko, and Alolan Raichu can easily outpace Togekiss and can take any attack that Togekiss can use and easily OHKO it.

**Rock-types**: Rock-types like Tyranitar, Mega Aerodactyl, and Terrakion give Togekiss trouble due to Stone Edge OHKOing it, and Aura Sphere does not OHKO any of them.

**Ice-types**: Ice-types like Ninetales and Kyurem-B can easily OHKO Togekiss due to Fire Blast or Aura Sphere not OHKOing them. I'd condense the previous two types above into "Super-Effective Coverage" as Rock- and Ice-types standalone are sparsely used at high level play and don't reflect the current meta.

**Steel-types**: When Babiri berry is not there anymore, Mega Scizor can sweep the team after one Swords Dance. Other Steel-types like Excadrill and Jirachi outpace Togekiss and easily OHKOs with Iron Head once Babiri berry has been used. This should be the first bullet, especially when there's a whole set dedicated to beating them.

**Special Walls**: Special Walls like Chansey and Mantine easily wall Togekiss as they take all of Togekiss's attack and only wary of Togekiss if its Choice Scarf as it could be running Trick. Clarify this better; the wording here is a bit odd.

**Stealth Rock**: Stealth Rock cripples Togekiss by taking 1/4 of its health each time it switches in which can easily wear down it.

* Fire Blast allows Togekiss to take care of Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, Jirachi and Excadrill after some chip.
* Aura Sphere gives Togekiss a way to hit Heatran as well as OHKOing Bisharp. Fire Blast already has an 87.5% chance to OHKO Bisharp and OHKOes it after SR. I said more about this below.
* Air Slash is important to have as its key to take care of Mega Venusaur as Serene Grace can make Air Slash more likely to flinch.
* Roost allows Togekiss to restore its health, allowing it to stay around longer in difficult matchups like Grass and Steel. Grass is a difficult matchup? I mean it has M-Venusaur, but so does Poison, and you don’t really need the “difficult matchup” line in there anyway. Just the ability to stay around longer helps in every matchup.

Set Details
========

* Its ability Serene Grace gives secondary effects for its moves morer likely to happen which means Air Slash has more of a chance to flinch down Pokemon.

Usage Tips
========

* Use Togekiss in the Steel-type matchup Togekiss is useful in the Steel(-type) matchup as its coverage it gets from Fire Blast and Aura Sphere, as well as being able to Roost allows it to take on most Steel-types. Small change but the player has to use Togekiss in the Steel matchup if it’s on their team, so it’s not really a usage tip.
* Switch into Togekiss on a resisted attack like Tapu Bulu's Horn Leech or attacks that it is immune to like Hippowdon's Earthquake.
* Try to keep Togekiss from taking a Steel-type move if Mega Scizor is alive as Babiri Berry is mainly for Mega Scizor because Togekiss cannot take its Bullet Punch once boosted.
* Be careful around common Thunder Wave Pokemon like Klefleki and Porygon2 as this will slow down Togekiss and will not be able to outspeed anything. Isn’t this already covered by “slow down”? Maybe you can say that it will lose the ability to check certain fast Steel-types, but the current wording is just redundant.

Team Options
========

* Azumarill can perform an important role as a wallbreaker with Z-Belly Drum in the Poison and Steel match up as a Jolly Return set can take care of Mega Venusaur if Togekiss gets too worn down and unable to take care of it as well as help clean up in the Steel match up after Mega Scizor is gone.
* Mega Diancie can be useful to set down Stealth Rock to help Togekiss score important KOs against Celesteela and Mega Venusaur as well as help with Pokemon that Togekiss struggle with like Kyurem-B, Mega Charizard Y and Zapdos.
* Klefiki can provide support thanks to having access to Light Screen, and Reflect which can help Togekiss stay around longer. Also it can It can also set up Spikes and slowing down Pokemon with Thunder Wave. This can help Togekiss take care of faster Pokemon like Infernape and Greninja.
* Clefable can be used to set down Stealth Rocks. This can help wear down Pokemon like Tapu Koko and Alolan Raichu. It can also be used as a Calm Mind sweeper if Mega Diancie has Stealth Rock and take care of Pokemon like Mega Venusaur as well as soak up status for its teammates.

Moves
========

* Fire Blast is used to break Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Excadrill locked in to Earthquake and Mega Scizor. This isn’t really needed, because it is a pretty specific scenario compared to the general two pokemon. Mega Scizor is the big one here.
* Aura Sphere is for Togekiss to beat Steel-types like Bisharp and not worrying about a miss as well as Heatran since it is immune to Fire Blast. This line is kind of confusing. Fire Blast already OHKOs Bisharp after Stealth Rock, so the reason Aura Sphere is there is mostly for Heatran. I know you are trying to get across that Aura Sphere has better accuracy, so maybe word it more like “it can threaten Heatran as well as provide a more accurate alternative to Pokemon it can already KO, such as Bisharp”.
* Air Slash can threaten Grass-, Bug-, Psychic- and Fighting-types like Mega Venusaur, Tapu Bulu, Buzzwole, Mega Gallade, and Keldeo. It only threatens Psychic-types if they are the other types you listed.
* Trick is used to make common walls like Chansey, Mantine, and Celesteela locked into the first move it uses.

Set Details
========

* Choice Scarf with a Timid nature allows Togekiss to outpace most of the metagame par faster Choice Scarfers like Latios and Terrakion.
* Maximum Special Attack and Speed to make Togekiss as strong and fast as possible.
* Its ability Serene Grace allows Togekiss to have better odds at flinching a Pokemon with Air Slash.

Usage Tips
========

* Use Togekiss to take care of slower Choice Scarfers like Tapu Bulu and Magnezone and faster Pokemon like Mega Gallade and Excadrill that is locked into Earthquake. Why is Excadrill grouped in the fast non-Choice Scarf category if it needs to be locked into EQ?
* Bring Togekiss in on a predicted Ground-type attack or from a resisted attack like Heracross's Megahorn.
* Togekiss can lead off to try to Trick a wall early game.
* Time Trick to get troubling walls like Celesteela, Ferrothorn, Mantine and Chansey and force them to lock into one move.
* Do not keep Togekiss to take a status move from common Pokemon like Mantine, Chansey and Porygon2 as this will put a timer on Togekiss from Toxic. Thunder Wave can cripple Togekiss because of the Speed drop and unable to get flinches with Air Slash.

Team Options

* Tapu Koko gives Togekiss relief against troubling Flying-types like Celesteela and Mantine. With Taunt, Tapu Koko can shut down walls like Poygon2, Chansey and Toxapex and Stealth Rock users like Skarmory and Empoleon which Togekiss appreciates.

Tapu Bulu can also turn into a powerful wallbreaker with Substitute and Swords Dance to help take care of walls that Togekiss struggles with like Chansey.
* Azumarill is a powerful set up sweeper as it is able to take care of troubling Pokemon for Togekiss like Rotom-W, Alolan Raichu and Excadrill.

* Clefable pairs good with Togekiss because it can become a powerful Calm Mind sweeper that can help take care of Steel-types once Heatran is gone.
* Mimikyu paired with Life Orb and Swords Dance can help greatly with the Psychic matchup against Pokemon that Togekiss struggle with like Jirachi and Victini.

* Togekiss has a good Special Attack stat backed up by a good Special Defense stat, decent HP stat and access to Roost that make it a good option to use.
- reword this. combine the hp/spd bullet into a part about bulk. maybe talk about its decent defensive typing and great natural special attack. also, I wouldn't call togekiss good, but it is viable. pm me on discord

* Thanks to its item, Babiri Berry, and access to moves such as Aura Sphere and Fire Blast, Togekiss can be a good emergency check to Steel-types such as Ferrothorn, Heatran, and Mega Scizor.
- rearrange it Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor so Aura/Blast targets match the first part of the sentence

* Due to its Flying-typing Togekiss can deal with Mega Venusaur, a Pokemon that Fairy struggle with because of its bulk.
- dont say because of its flying typing, its air slash that does the trick. Also, talk about its part Flying typing but because it provides a Ground immunity.

* talk about how its decent natural speed allows it to use choice scarf well

* However, its Flying-typing makes Togekiss Stealth Rock weak, and will limit how many times it can come in.
- I dont think its weakness to sr is worth going in the overview

* Togekiss is outclassed by Clefable due to it having access to Stealth Rock, better bulk, and the ability Magic Guard that can serve as an status absorber as well as not worry about hazards because of its ability.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Fire Blast allows Togekiss to take care of Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, Jirachi and Excadrill after some chip.
- spd jirachi is a meh example of what it takes on with fire blast

* Aura Sphere gives Togekiss a way to hit Heatran as well as OHKOing Bisharp.
* Air Slash is important to have as its key to take care of Mega Venusaur as Serene Grace can make Air Slash more likely to flinch.
- dont think you need to say serene grace is what makes it able to flinch more

* Roost allows Togekiss to restore its health, allowing it to stay around longer in difficult matchups like Grass and Steel.

Set Details
========

* A Timid nature backed by 176 Speed EVs to outpace key Pokemon like Breloom and Bisharp and Adamant Diggersby.
- breloom is a meh example, fairy couldnt really care abt breloom

* 248 HP EVs is important for Togekiss to live an unboosted Bullet Punch from Mega Scizor as well as reducing Stealth Rock damage to it.
* Its item Babiri Berry allows Togekiss to act as a check to Mega Scizor after a Swords Dance as it halves the damage taken from its Bullet Punch.
* Its ability Serene Grace gives secondary effects for its moves more likely to happen which means Air Slash has more of a chance to flinch down Pokemon.

Usage Tips
========

* Use Togekiss in the Steel-type matchup as its coverage it gets from Fire Blast and Aura Sphere, as well as being able to Roost allows it to take on most Steel-types.
- give examples of how it can be useful in the steel matchup

* grass matchup & examples

* Switch into Togekiss on a resisted attack like Tapu Bulu's Horn Leech or attacks that it is immune to like Hippowdon's Earthquake.
* talk about appropriate times to roost
* talk about wearing down foes with air slash for its teammates

* Try to keep Togekiss from taking a Steel-type move if Mega Scizor is alive as Babiri Berry is mainly for Mega Scizor because Togekiss cannot take its Bullet Punch once boosted.
* Be careful around common Thunder Wave Pokemon like Klefleki and Porygon2 as this will slow down Togekiss and will not be able to outspeed anything.
- doesnt really appreciate any status, include all three please: burn, toxic, & para.

Team Options
========

- talk about bulu being able to take on specially defensive pokemon such as togekiss with its swords dance set

* Azumarill can perform an important role as a wallbreaker with Z-Belly Drum in the Poison and Steel matchup as a Jolly Return set can take care of Mega Venusaur if Togekiss gets too worn down and unable to take care of it as well as help clean up in the Steel match up after Mega Scizor is gone.
* Mega Diancie can be useful to set down Stealth Rock to help Togekiss score important KOs against Celesteela and Mega Venusaur as well as help with Pokemon that Togekiss struggle with like Kyurem-B, Mega Charizard Y and Zapdos.
- its magic bounce is important as well as togekiss has a hard time against boosted zor w/ rocks up

* Klefiki can provide support thanks to having access to Light Screen, and Reflect which can help Togekiss stay around longer. Also it can set up Spikes and slowing down Pokemon with Thunder Wave. This can help Togekiss take care of faster Pokemon like Infernape and Greninja.
- talk about how screens can further assist it in checking steel-types. also talk about how it can pressure sd scizor w/ foul play

- clefable is a poor mans mega venusaur check

* Mimikyu can become a wallbreaker thanks to Life Orb and Swords Dance to take down Pokemon that Togekiss struggles with like Gengar and Kyurem-B.

Moves
========

* Fire Blast is used to break Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Excadrill locked into Earthquake and Mega Scizor.
- unnecessary example

* Aura Sphere is for Togekiss to beat Steel-types like Bisharp and not worrying about a miss as well as Heatran since it is immune to Fire Blast.
- this sounds awkward rephrase plz

* Air Slash can threaten Grass-, Bug-, Psychic- and Fighting-types like Mega Venusaur, Tapu Bulu, Buzzwole, Mega Gallade, and Keldeo.
- way to many examples id condense it to ones that are important for fairy mu like gallade, bulu, and mvenu

* Trick is used to make common walls like Chansey, Mantine, and Celesteela locked into the first move it uses.
- just say trick cripples walls by locking them into a move, dont need to talk about its specific mechanics

Set Details
========

* Choice Scarf with a Timid nature allows Togekiss to outpace most of the metagame par faster Choice Scarfers like Latios and Terrakion.
- just give some pokemon it outpaces like keldeo etc since other pokemon like zeraora and maero outpace it w/o scarf

* Maximum Special Attack and Speed to make Togekiss as strong and fast as possible.
- the speed part is in the bullet above, idt you need to mention it again

* Its ability Serene Grace allows Togekiss to have better odds at flinching a Pokemon with Air Slash.

Usage Tips
========

* Use Togekiss to take care of slower Choice Scarfers like Tapu Bulu and Magnezone and faster Pokemon like Mega Gallade and Excadrill that is locked into Earthquake.
- again excadrill locked into eq is a weird & very specific example

* Bring Togekiss in on a predicted Ground-type attack or from a resisted attack like Heracross's Megahorn.

[* Togekiss can lead off to try to Trick a wall early game.
* Time Trick to get troubling walls like Celesteela, Ferrothorn, Mantine and Chansey and force them to lock into one move.]
- merge these two bullets above into one. also talk about how it should be wary of losing its scarf when there are faster foes, especially if they can ohko it

* Do not keep Togekiss to take a status move from common Pokemon like Mantine, Chansey and Porygon2 as this will put a timer on Togekiss from Toxic. Thunder Wave can cripple Togekiss because of the Speed drop and unable to get flinches with Air Slash.
- mantine rarely runs toxic and always opts for haze nowadays. also it doesnt like any status again.

* talk about fishing for flinches with spamming air slash
* talk about having it clean up late-game.

Team Options
========

- toxapex, mega venusaur, basically beats slower poison types. at least its sd set, not scarf

* Azumarill is a powerful setup sweeper as it is able to take care of troubling Pokemon for Togekiss like Rotom-W, Alolan Raichu and Excadrill.
* Mega Diancie is important to pressure hazard settlers with its Magic Bounce and Togekiss like this because it means Stealth Rock will not be on the field to cripple it. Mega Diancie can also put down Stealth Rock to pressure Pokemon and can limit how many times a Pokemon can come in.
- mega diancie can also take on Flying-types for togekiss. also, reword the sentences

- Its Klefki not Klefiki btw. also screens isnt rlly as important for this set. also condense this bullet talk about thunder wave being useful for air slash and spikes allowing it to clean better late-game. cut out the rest

Fairy
--------
* Togekiss can run Defog over Trick on the Choice Scarf set to take care of Hazards that got set due to Mega Diancie either not being Mega evolved, or has fainted, however, this means that it cannot trick important walls like Chansey, Celesteela or Mantine.
* Togekiss on the Babiri Berry set can run Thunder Wave over Aura Sphere to paralyze troubling fast Pokemon like Infernape and Latios, however, this means that Togekiss cannot take care of Pokemon like Bisharp and Heatran.
* A set with Nasty Plot, Roost, Air Slash, and Fire Blast can be used with Leftovers to make Togekiss a dangerous set up sweeper, however, this means that it will not have Babiri berry and will be unable to check Mega Scizor after a Swords Dance and the inability to hit effectively Heatran.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fairy
--------

**Steel-types**: When Babiri berry is not there anymore, Mega Scizor can sweep the team after one Swords Dance. Other Steel-types like Excadrill and Jirachi outpace Togekiss and easily OHKOs with Iron Head once Babiri berry has been used.

**Super-Effective Coverage**: Electric-, Rock- and Ice-types like Zeraora, Terrakion and Alolan Ninetales easily take care of Togekiss with their STAB moves.

**Special Walls**: Special Walls like Chansey and Mantine easily wall Togekiss. These Pokemon are only wary of Togekiss if its Choice Scarf as it could be running Trick.

**Stealth Rock**: Stealth Rock cripples Togekiss by taking 1/4 of its health each time it switches in which can easily wear down it.

[OVERVIEW]

Fairy
========

* Togekiss has decent bulk to allow it to use Babiri Berry effectively and good Special Attack stat to deal decent damage. It also has access to Roost to keep itself healthy and a good defensive typing that allows it to come in on Grass-type attacks that make it a viable option to use.
- dont include resisting grass here, imo thts not super important. also rephrase the second sentence

* Thanks to its item, Babiri Berry, and access to moves such as Aura Sphere and Fire Blast, Togekiss can be a good emergency check to Steel-types such as Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor.
* Togekiss' Flying typing is useful to give a team a Ground immunity. Thanks to its move Air Slash allows it to deal with Mega Venusaur, a Pokemon that Fairy struggle with because of its bulk and typing.
* Togekiss has a decent neutral speed stat that allows it to use Choice Scarf well, as it works alongside Air Slash to try to get flinches on most non-Choiced Pokemon.
* However, Togekiss is outclassed by Clefable due to it having access to Stealth Rock, better bulk, and the ability Magic Guard that can serve as a status absorber as well as not worry about hazards because of its ability.
- wouldnt say tht it is outclassed by clefable, since they do different things. maybe say it struggles to find a slot on fairy teams because clefable does x etc.

* Use Togekiss in the Steel-type matchup as its coverage it gets from Fire Blast and Aura Sphere creates a guessing game to what move it is going to use and if it will predict the switch to Heatran. Togekiss also can keep itself healthy with Roost that allows it to pressure most Steel-types like Ferrothorn, Skarmory, and Heatran, but it has to be wary around Excadrill and Magnezone outpacing and KOing it.
- i wouldnt say that it can really easily use roost against heatran, remove that example.

* Use Togekiss in the Grass-type matchup as it is able to take on most Grass-types like Mega Venusaur and Ferrothorn with its Air Slash and Fire Blast.
- would like you expand on this. dont just say what its coverage hits, actually explain how to use togekiss in the grass mu, since tht is one of the bigger reasons to use this set

* Switch into Togekiss on a resisted attack like Tapu Bulu's Horn Leech or attacks that it is immune to like Hippowdon's Earthquake.
- say togekiss should switch into resisted attacks for its teammates. rn it sounds like this part is just switchin togekiss

* Use Roost against passive Pokemon like Hippowdon and Toxapex, resisted attacks like Tapu Bulu's Wood Hammer or on a predicted switch to get a Pokemon in to take care of Togekiss.
* Togekiss' Air Slash can be used to wear down Pokemon for its teammates that they struggle with like Hippowdon and Mega Venusaur.
* Try to keep Togekiss from taking a Steel-type move if Mega Scizor is alive as Babiri Berry is mainly for Mega Scizor because Togekiss cannot take its Bullet Punch after one Swords Dance.
- this sounds weird, just say preserve its babiri berry in x etc..

* Be careful around common Pokemon that use status moves as Togekiss getting Will-O-Wisp by Rotom-W or Toxic from Chansey and Porygon2 will lessen its use as it will be unable to keep itself healthy. Thunder Wave from Pokemon like Porygon2 and Klefki will make it unable to have a chance to flinch anything with Air Slash as well as be unable to outspeed anything.

Team Options

* Azumarill can perform an important role as a wallbreaker with Z-Belly Drum in the Poison and Steel matchup as the Jolly Return set can take care of Mega Venusaur if Togekiss gets too worn down and unable to take care of it. It can also help clean up in the Steel match up after Mega Scizor is gone.
* Mega Diancie can be useful to set down Stealth Rock to help Togekiss score important KOs against Celesteela and Mega Venusaur and can also help with its ability Magic Bounce to keep Stealth Rock from being set up that could hinder Togekiss from doing its job to check Mega Scizor.
- togekiss cant rlly ohko celesteela or mvenu even w/ sr support. each take a few hits from any of its attacks

* Klefki can provide support thanks to Light Screen and Reflect, which can help Togekiss stay healthy longer and being able to pressure Steel-types more because of taking less damage. Klefki can set up Spikes and slow down Pokemon with Thunder Wave as this can help Togekiss take care of faster Pokemon like Latios and Greninja. Klefki can run Foul Play over Thunder Wave to help check Mega Scizor after a Swords Dance if Togekiss is unable to.

- again togkeiss never beats celesteela

* Klefki helps with its Thunder Wave to slow down faster Pokemon that Togekiss cannot outspeed like Choice Scarf Victini and Greninja. It also pairs well with Togekiss’s Air Slash to give more of a chance that the opposing Pokemon cannot move. Spikes help late-game with doing useful chip damage to get them in range of Togekiss's attacks.
* Clefable pairs good with Togekiss because it can become a powerful Calm Mind sweeper that can help take care of Steel-types once Heatran is gone.
- clefable doesnt really take care of steel types, maybe its babiri sr set and at best 1 steel type. take that part out it provides sr support and can act as a mega scizor check

Overview:
- Something about Togekiss being too Steel focused would be good. Clefable is good in every matchup (for the reasons you stated).
- Might be worth noting that the rise of Celesteela has hurt Togekiss significantly. Celesteela's far superior special bulk compared to Skarmory makes it capable of combating Togekiss.
- Probably worth noting that Togekiss is pretty weak. It's kinda sad.

Babiri
Set:
- Make it: Babiri Berry (Fairy)
- 252 HP / 80 SpA / 176 Spe - 248 HP doesn't reduce Stealth Rock damage.

Set Details:
- Mention that maxing Special Attack after maxing HP and hitting the Speed benchmark makes sure Togekiss can actually deal enough damage. Defensive Mega Scizor is favored to survive Fire Blast even with Stealth Rock support otherwise.

Team Options:
- Mimikyu can't actually beat Kyurem-B because you typically use Adamant. Nevertheless, it helps a ton in the Psychic matchup where Togekiss isn't very useful.

Not going to sign off here yet. Going to discuss whether we're keeping Choice Scarf set. I feel like it's a relic from ORAS and Togekiss's only niche is a Babiri set that doesn't drop to Bisharp and Heatran. Feel free to make those few changes while you wait. I'll update you within the day (don't want to lose this check lol)

I think tbh it should go to oo. Its just with how the meta tends to be bulky, Togekiss is gonna want Roost over Choice Scarf. I also think if you really want speed control on Fairy, you would want Tapu Bulu. Just leaving my thoughts here till you come to a conclusion. Implemented everything anyways that you had.

We agree. Let's drop it to OO and call it QC 3/3. Good job

Togekiss has decent bulk, a good defensive typing that provides a Ground immunity, and access to Roost, which ensures it can keep itself healthy throughout the game and stick around as a valuable team member. to allow it to use Babiri Berry effectively and A good Special Attack stat to helps it deal decent damage, and with access to Aura Sphere and Fire Blast, Babiri Berry Togekiss can be a good emergency check to Steel-types such as Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor. Thanks to having Roost, it can keep itself healthy throughout the game and a good defensive typing that make it a viable option to use. Thanks to its item, Babiri Berry, and access to moves such as Aura Sphere and Fire Blast, Togekiss can be a good emergency check to Steel-types such as Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor. Togekiss' Flying typing is useful to give a team a Ground immunity. (I know it looks like I just rewrote these sentences, but I mostly just rearranged your points because the flow was all over the place. Hopefully it's alright, if not then just let me know and I'll take another look) Air Slash allows it to deal with Mega Venusaur, a Pokemon that Fairy teams struggle with because of its bulk and typing. Togekiss has a decent neutral speed stat that allows it to use Choice Scarf well, as it works alongside Air Slash to try to get flinches on most non-Choiced Pokemon. (With Scarf in OO, this sentence feels unnecessary to me) However, Togekiss struggles to do good deal significant damage to some threats because of its Special Attack stat and too (you said earlier that its Special Attack stat was good, so maybe remove this?) its best set is focused on taking on Steel teams focused with the moves it runs. Togekiss also struggles to beat Celesteela, as it which is being used more over Skarmory on Steel-type teams because it has more thanks to its special bulk. Furthermore, it Togekiss has a hard time to find finding a slot on fairy Fairy teams because of Clefable having fills a similar role and has access to Stealth Rock, better bulk, and the ability Magic Guard, (AC) which means it that can serve as a status absorber as well as not worry about and ignore hazards; (ASC) with all these traits, it's often because of its ability and more useful than Togekiss in more many matchups than Togekiss.

[OVERVIEW]

Fairy
========

Togekiss has decent bulk, a good defensive typing that provides a Ground immunity, and access to Roost, which ensures it can keep itself healthy throughout the game and stick around as a valuable team member. (AP) A good Special Attack stat helps it deal decent damage, and with access to Aura Sphere and Fire Blast, Babiri Berry Togekiss can be a good emergency check to Steel-types such as Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor. Furthermore, Togekiss has a hard time finding a slot on Fairy teams because Clefable fills a similar role and has access to Stealth Rock, better bulk, and the ability Magic Guard, which means it can serve as a status absorber and ignore hazards; therefore, (AC) with all these traits, it is often and more useful than Togekiss in many matchups.

Usage Tips
========

Use Togekiss to your advantage in the Steel-type matchup, (AC) as the coverage it gets from Fire Blast and Aura Sphere creates a guessing game to whether or not it will predict the switch to Heatran. In the Grass-type matchup, Togekiss is able to pressure most Grass-types like Mega Venusaur and Ferrothorn with its Air Slash and Fire Blast. Try to preserve Togekiss's Babiri Berry if Mega Scizor is alive because Togekiss cannot take its boosted Bullet Punch once the Babiri Berry has been used. Be careful around common Pokemon that use status moves, as Togekiss getting statused burned by Will-O-Wisp from Rotom-W or badly poisoned by Toxic from Chansey and Porygon2 make it difficult to keep itself healthy.
