Nasty Plot Togekiss is a threatening late-game sweeper thanks to its defensive utility and good neutral coverage. By forcing out Pokemon like Conkeldurr, Mandibuzz, and Kommo-o, Togekiss can easily find opportunities to set up Nasty Plot or Substitute. Substitute is great because it prevents revenge killers like Terrakion, Zeraora, and Jirachi from immediately threatening Togekiss. It also protects Togekiss against status from the likes of Mandibuzz and Toxapex. Flamethrower has great coverage with Air Slash, threatening Steel-types like Corviknight, Aegislash, Excadrill, and Jirachi while hitting Zeraora for neutral damage. Alternatively, Roost significantly increases Togekiss's longevity and lets it switch into resisted attacks from Pokemon such as Conkeldurr and Choice Scarf Hydreigon more frequently.

Togekiss fits well on bulky offense and balance teams that need a potential wincon and soft check to Pokemon such as Conkeldurr. Electric-types like Zeraora and Rotom-H are extremely problematic; Zeraora outspeeds Togekiss and easily OHKOes it when it's not behind a Substitute, while Rotom-H is also faster, takes little damage from Togekiss's moves, and threatens it with Discharge. As a result, Pokemon like Seismitoad, Choice Scarf Hydreigon, and Gastrodon are good partners. If Togekiss isn't running Flamethrower, it's extremely beneficial to pair it with Pokemon like Rotom-H and Terrakion to deal with Steel-types. Rotom-H can also provide entry hazard control so Togekiss isn't forced to use Roost as often. Similarly, Pokemon such as Clefable and Assault Vest Hatterene that can cripple Steel-types are also appreciated. If Togekiss lacks Roost, then Wish support from Pokemon such as Jirachi is helpful to improve its longevity. Togekiss also has application on hyper offense teams, seeing support from Pokemon like dual screens Grimmsnarl and lead Excadrill or Mew to aid it in sweeping.

Togekiss is a great utility Choice Scarf user because of its access to useful moves like Trick and Thunder Wave. Togekiss can use Trick to cripple a check like Corviknight or Aegislash, or it can opt to keep its Choice Scarf to revenge kill Pokemon like Keldeo, Nasty Plot Hydreigon, and Dragapult. Roost may seem weird, but it's helpful to keep Togekiss healthy and becomes extremely reliable once Togekiss loses its Choice Scarf. Similarly, Nasty Plot lets Togekiss become a potent sweeper after losing its Choice Scarf, but Thunder Wave is a viable alternative that allows Togekiss to cripple fast Pokemon like Dracovish and Choice Band Terrakion, as well as enabling Togekiss to paraflinch foes such as Calm Mind Clefable. Dazzling Gleam can also be run on teams weak to Dark-types such as Hydreigon, Obstagoon, and Mandibuzz as well as Dragapult, although it's generally not preferred over Togekiss's other options.

Togekiss is appreciated by balance and offense builds because of the great utility it brings. Since Togekiss struggles greatly against Steel-types, it benefits from teammates like Rotom-H, Cinderace, and Corviknight that can deal with them. Additionally, the three of them can provide entry hazard control. On the flip side, Pokemon like Jirachi and Clefable appreciate Togekiss crippling Steel-types with Trick. If Togekiss is running Thunder Wave, it can support slower wallbreakers like Conkeldurr and Aegislash.

Excadrill fails to deal with Corviknight, and both also struggle with opposing Excadrill. Rotom-H is a fine example because of its good matchup against Corviknight, but you should definitely replace Excadrill with another Pokemon like Conkeldurr or Terrakion. Both Pokemon can also provide entry hazard control so Togekiss isn't forced to use Roost as often. Togekiss also has application on hyper offense teams, seeing support from Pokemon like dual screens Grimmsnarl and lead Excadrill or Mew to aid it in sweeping. I would like to see some note of Pokemon that can cripple Steel-types, like Clefable and Assault Vest Hatterene.

That it enables paraflinching is certainly worth noting. I'd also like to see a mention of Dazzling Gleam. Although it's quite niche, it definitely has a niche on specific teams.

Same deal here, I don't think Excadrill's a great example. Corviknight's definitely a good alternative here because this set is a lot less self sufficient against Steel-types than the other set.

Rotom-H is not the best example since it can make use of a Choice Scarf quite well. Roost may seem weird, but it's helpful to keep Togekiss healthy and becomes extremely reliable once Togekiss loses its Choice Scarf. Similarly, Nasty Plot lets Togekiss become a potent sweeper after losing its Choice Scarf, but Thunder Wave is a viable alternative that allows Togekiss to cripple fast Pokemon like Dracovish and Choice Band Terrakion, as well as enabling Togekiss to paraflinch foes such as Snorlax. I don't think Snorlax is a good example since Togekiss does pitiful damage to it and it has Rest, making the scenario of paraflinching it to death really rare. Calm Mind Clefable or Sylveon are a bit better as examples I'd say since they hate being paralyzed. Dazzling Gleam can also be run on teams weak to Dark-types such as Hydreigon, Obstagoon, and Mandibuzz, although it's generally not preferred over Togekiss's other options. I know it's not a Dark-type but OHKOing Dragapult is pretty notable.
