There is 6% chance of Quick Claw and Guillotine occuring successfully the same turn. There is a 0.0216% chace of it happening 3 times in a row. I hate battle tower hax.

You could always invest in a Sturdy Pokemon. Useful choice include Donphan, Steelix and Shuckle. The only problem with these is they are all weak to water, but at least Donphan and Shuckle can Knock Off his Quick Claw.

There was a thread on this last week.

It is a well known fact that the game is, in fact, chaetin' in Battle Tower. That's how these threads usually end up. Invest in Sturdy Pokemon, Brightpowder Garchomp in a Sandstorm, or spam Sleep like a mother. The latter technique works pretty well for Wifi BT until your attacks start missing.

I really don't have any battle tower hax stories, but I only have 63 wins in a row.

Is there room here for stories where the luck was in your favor? I just got out of a battle where my Toxic/Wishing Umbreon was my last poke, up against a Miltank, also last poke. I know the only way for me to win is get Toxic on the Miltank asap and then wait out the poison damage. So I start freaking out when the Miltank headbutts me and inflicts paralyze, which gets synchronized back at him, keeping him safe from poison. I settle in for a bit of Wish stalling, hoping to maybe beat him in a struggle war, when suddenly he uses HEAL BELL. Now that Paralyze is clear, I use Toxic, and thank God he doesn't think HB again to save himself.

Of course, karma bit my Umbreon in the end next battle, where he got Swaggered / Screeched, and hurt himself in confusion 5 times in a row. How can you get confused about a wish?!

I got swept by a Feraligatr: Quick Clawed and focus blasted my Lucario, Ice Beamed my Salamence, and Surfed my last pokemon (can'r remember it) for a critical hit.

Quick Claw activated all three times.

If I remember correctly pressure does not affect moves that affect the user like recovery and stat-up moves. Still I'm not sure how Cress would have so many moonlights.

Pressure affects everything.

I think he is right. I'm sure that pressure only affecxts moves used against the Pokemon with the ability.

Smogon agrees with me.

Moves that affect this Pokémon (including Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Stealth Rock) lose 1 extra PP per turn.

Personally my past 16 crits at the Haxtower had been crits where it would've KO'd even if it was a normal hit. I'm not sure what the math on this one is, but I think it tops his hax

Pressure affects everything.

It only effects moves that would affect the opponent.

It has no effect on moves like Softboiled, Moonlight, Swords Dance etc.

In a battle i had yesterday i won 5-0 due to immense hax in my favour. My Garchomp dodged two potentially KO moves (Ice Punch and... i forget, some Dragon move), getting 3 kills with Outrage... yeah, it was a completly haxed up game, tbh.
