[OVERVIEW]

With a great Speed tier, powerful Flying-type STAB move in Hurricane, and abundance of coverage and utility moves to choose from, Tornadus-T has all of the tools necessary to be a top-tier Pokemon in ORAS OU. Tornadus-T’s upsides don’t end there, however. It was also gifted one of the best abilities in the game in Regenerator, making it one of the few Pokemon that can effectively utilize Assault Vest. The combination of Regenerator and Assault Vest, plus its access to U-turn, makes Tornadus-T one of the best pivots in the metagame. However, although Tornadus-T’s mono-Flying typing gives it a few crucial immunities and resistances, it is also one of Tornadus-T’s greatest impediments. With Stealth Rock taking away 25% of its HP every time it switches in, Tornadus-T can quickly get overwhelmed by the Pokemon it is supposed to check.

Hurricane provides Tornadus-T with a strong Flying-type STAB move, allowing it to hit Pokemon such as Serperior and Keldeo hard. The second moveslot is very team dependent. Heat Wave allows Tornadus-T to hit Pokemon such as Mega Metagross, Mega Scizor, and other Steel-types hard and is generally the best option. Superpower allows Tornadus-T to threaten Pokemon such as Tyranitar and Heatran. Hidden Power Ice can be used if your team needs a back-up check to Gliscor and hits Garchomp and Landorus-T harder than Hurricane would, but it is usually the least useful of the three options. If your team is weak to Mega Charizard Y or Volcarona, Smack Down is an option that allows Tornadus-T to hit them for super effective damage. This is usually not recommended, though, as Smack Down is very weak and Tornadus-T’s ability to check Mega Charizard Y and Volcarona with it is shaky at best. For its final two moveslots, Knock Off and U-turn are both mandatory for Tornadus-T. Knock Off allows Tornadus-T to cripple its switch-ins by removing their item, while U-turn lets Tornadus-T gain momentum and make use of its wonderful ability in Regenerator.

Set Details
========

Assault Vest allows Tornadus-T to check common special attackers such as Keldeo, Serperior, and Latios. 252 Speed EVs with a Speed-boosting nature allows Tornadus-T to outspeed Pokemon such as Starmie, Choice Scarf Tyranitar, Serperior, and the rare Alakazam. When running Superpower, a Jolly nature can be used to guarantee that Tornadus-T can get the OHKO against no bulk Tyranitar after Stealth Rock and deal more damage to Pokemon such as Heatran and Excadrill. When running Hidden Power Ice, a spread of 144 HP / 148 SpA / 216 Spe is recommended with a Timid nature, allowing Tornadus-T to 2HKO Gliscor with Hidden Power Ice while still outspeeding Choice Scarf Tyranitar and keeping as much bulk as possible.

Usage Tips
========

Tornadus-T should be used as a pivot against common special attackers such as Keldeo and Latios. When Stealth Rock is not on the field, Tornadus-T can switch into these Pokemon pretty freely thanks to its incredible special bulk with an Assault Vest and its ability Regenerator. When Stealth Rock is set, however, Tornadus-T must be much more careful. For example, after Stealth Rock damage, Mega Alakazam is able to 2HKO Tornadus-T with Psychic, and Choice Specs Latios has a slight chance to OHKO Tornadus-T with Draco Meteor. Choice Specs Keldeo is also able to muscle through Tornadus-T with either Hydro Pump or Scald after a couple of switch ins.

If Tornadus-T does not have any significant defensive value versus your opponent's team, you can make use of its access to Knock Off to remove items from Pokemon such as Heatran, Clefable, and Rotom-W, crippling them for the rest of the game and opening up doors for Tornadus-T's teammates. All three of the aforementioned Pokemon can carry status moves, though, so you must carefully weigh the risk of getting inflicted by status in return for removing an item.

During battle, it is often best to switch Tornadus-T into a Pokemon that it checks and then use U-turn to gain momentum and gauge your opponent's reaction to Tornadus-T or Knock Off to punish your opponent's switch-in. Hurricane, since it can be a big momentum killer early- to mid-game, should usually only be used late-game when your opponent's team is weakened or in a scenario where it is too risky to use U-turn or Knock Off.

Team Options
========

Assault Vest Tornadus-T fits well on bulky offense and balance teams that appreciate its ability to sponge special attacks and maintain offensive momentum. Bulky Ground-types such as TankChomp, Gliscor, and Hippowdon pair well with Tornadus-T, as all three are able to switch into Tyranitar and are immune to Electric-type attacks, and the former two are also able to switch into Heatran, while Tornadus-T is able to tank hits from strong Water- and Grass-types such as Keldeo and Serperior. Gastrodon is also worth mentioning for its ability to wall all of the relevant Electric-types in the tier. Excadrill is also a good partner, as it is able to remove Stealth Rock and switch into Pokemon such as Clefable. Strong Water- and Fighting-types such as Keldeo, Azumarill, and Mega Medicham can take advantage of some of Tornadus-T's common checks and appreciate the safe switches that it gives them. Clefable is a solid partner, as it is able to switch into Pokemon that force Tornadus-T out such as Weavile and Choice Scarf Tyranitar, as well as Rotom-W and Zapdos. Clefable also appreciates Tornadus-T removing the items from Pokemon such as Heatran and Excadrill. Similarly, Serperior appreciates Tornadus-T's ability to remove Heatran's item, and it is also able to switch into and threaten Pokemon such as Rotom-W. Lastly, strong Steel-types such as Mega Metagross and Mega Scizor are able to take advantage of Tornadus-T pivoting out versus Clefable, and the latter also appreciates Tornadus-T's ability to remove the items from Pokemon such as Heatran and Rotom-W.

Moves
=========

One of the things that makes offensive Tornadus-T so dangerous is its access to STAB Hurricane, a move that compensates for its 70% accuracy with raw power. Superpower is the coverage option of choice, as it enables Tornadus-T to hit Tyranitar, Heatran, Chansey, and Excadrill for super effective damage and hits all of them harder than Focus Blast would. Taunt is used to stop Pokemon such as Gliscor, Clefable, Chansey, Hippowdon, and Gastrodon from using their recovery moves, which helps Tornadus-T break through bulkier teams. It can also be used to deny entry hazards from various Pokemon, such as Garchomp and Ferrothorn. In the last slot, you can use either Knock Off or U-turn. Knock Off is useful when going against Chansey or Rotom-W, since removing their item will severely cripple them. It is also useful against Zapdos and opposing Assault Vest Tornadus-T. If you would prefer gaining momentum over removing items, you can use U-turn.

Set Details
========

76 Attack EVs alongside a Life Orb allows Tornadus-T to OHKO offensive Excadrill and most non-Chople Berry Tyranitar with Superpower. It also allows Tornadus-T to 2HKO maximum HP investment Heatran after Stealth Rock and maximum HP investment Bold Chansey after removing its Eviolite. 252 Speed EVs with a positive nature should be used to take advantage of Tornadus-T's incredible Speed tier, outspeeding Pokemon such as Thundurus, Serperior, and Starmie and Speed tying with opposing Tornadus-T. A Naive nature is usually preferred to take hits from priority users such as Mega Scizor, Azumarill, and Bisharp better; however, a Hasty nature can be used if you need Tornadus-T to switch into special attackers like Serperior. The rest of the EVs are dumped into Special Attack to maximize the power of Tornadus-T's Hurricane, allowing it to 2HKO Gliscor and Bold Clefable. Regenerator gives Tornadus-T the longevity it needs to properly break bulkier teams.

Usage Tips
========

When playing against bulkier teams, Tornadus-T should be used as a wallbreaker. This means bringing it in safely on Pokemon that it threatens out and then punching holes into the opponent's team with Hurricane or using Knock Off to remove an item or U-turn to gain momentum. When playing against more offensive teams, you should take advantage of Tornadus-T's excellent Speed tier and use it as a revenge killer. You can also make use of Tornadus-T's natural bulk and switch it into Pokemon such as Serperior, although you should be wary of a potential Glare. Even with Regenerator recovery, Tornadus-T can quickly be worn down from Stealth Rock damage, Life Orb recoil, and attack damage. This means that you should always be aware of the importance of Tornadus-T's HP and shouldn't throw it into attacks.

Team Options
========

Some of the biggest thorns in Tornadus-T's side are Electric-types, primarily Rotom-W and Zapdos, so teammates that can wear down or lure in those two Pokemon are appreciated. Slowbro is a notable mention, especially if running Toxic. Even without Toxic, Slowbro can still fish for Scald burns against these Pokemon, and Tornadus-T is able to check Grass-types that threaten Slowbro. Heatran is another Pokemon that can lure in and potentially poison or burn Rotom-W. Speaking of Rotom-W, it actually functions well alongside Tornadus-T, as it is able to use Volt Switch against Grass-types such as Amoonguss and Tangrowth, giving Tornadus-T a free switch in. Starmie is a Pokemon that functions in a similar way to Slowbro, luring in Rotom-W and other Electric-types and either burning or poisoning them. Starmie is also able to remove Stealth Rock with Rapid Spin. Tornadus-T is able to help Starmie by luring in Tyranitar and KOing it with Superpower. Excadrill can also remove Stealth Rock with Rapid Spin for Tornadus-T, and Sand Rush variants can run Toxic to lure in and cripple Rotom-W. Hippowdon is another notable teammate, as it can check the majority of Tornadus-T's offensive answers such as Mega Metagross, Mega Diancie, and Sand Rush Excadrill. Hippowdon can also lure in Rotom-W and inflict it with Toxic poison. Lastly, Serperior can check Rotom-W and appreciates Tornadus-T's ability to lure in Heatran and damage it with Superpower. Serperior is also able to catch opposing Assault Vest Tornadus-T with Glare, making your own Tornadus-T's job much easier.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Air Slash is an option on the Assault Vest set if you want a more accurate Flying-type STAB move; the huge drop in power is usually not worth it, however. Icy Wind has some merit, since it drops the foe's Speed. The only reason to run Ice-type coverage on Tornadus-T is to check Gliscor, though, and Icy Wind is not a guaranteed 2HKO. Focus Blast can be used over Superpower, but it is much less consistent due to its lower accuracy. On top of that, the Pokemon that you want to hit with your Fighting-type coverage are generally bulkier on the special side, such as Chansey, Heatran, and Tyranitar, so Superpower does more to them.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric-types**: Zapdos is probably the best counter to Tornadus-T, as it resists the majority of Tornadus-T's attacks and can recover any damage taken with Roost. Rotom-W can switch into Tornadus-T and can get a slow Volt Switch off against it or threaten it with a Will-O-Wisp or Thunder Wave. Rotom-W does not appreciate its item being removed by Knock Off, however, as Leftovers is its only form of recovery outside of Pain Split. Thundurus is a Pokemon that can offensively check Tornadus-T, as it naturally resists Tornadus-T's STAB move and U-turn. It must be wary of Hidden Power Ice and Knock Off, though.

**Steel-types**: Many Steel-types can check Tornadus-T if it lacks the proper coverage move to hit them. Heatran can check all non-Superpower variants of Tornadus-T, as it resists both Hurricane and U-turn. Heatran's only form of recovery is Leftovers, however, so once it gets hit by Knock Off, it is very easy to wear down. Specially defensive Skarmory is able to switch into Assault Vest Tornadus-T if it lacks Heat Wave. Specially defensive Jirachi is one of the best answers to Tornadus-T, as it is naturally bulky and has access to Wish, which allows it to stay healthy. Choice Scarf Jirachi can also revenge kill Tornadus-T fairly reliably. Lastly, Mega Metagross can check all Tornadus-T variants, as Heat Wave only has a small chance to 2HKO it, and its Ice Punch and Thunder Punch both have an almost certain chance to OHKO Tornadus-T after Stealth Rock.

**Rock-types**: Tyranitar is able to switch into non-Superpower Tornadus-T and threaten it out with its Rock-type STAB moves, although U-turn will quickly wear it down. Tyranitar also has the option to Pursuit trap Tornadus-T. Mega Diancie can switch into Tornadus-T a couple of times and threaten it out with Diamond Storm. Mega Aerodactyl is a Pokemon that can switch into all of Tornadus-T's attacks and recover off the damage with or threaten it with a powerful Stone Edge.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Specially defensive Pokemon that are not weak to Tornadus-T's coverage such as Clefable, Gliscor, Slowking, Gastrodon, and Hippowdon can all switch into non-offensive Tornadus-T and heal off the damage with their recovery moves. These Pokemon will get shut down by the rare Taunt Tornadus-T, however.

**Faster Attackers**: Faster Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny, Weavile, Mega Manectric, Sand Rush Excadrill, and some Choice Scarf Pokemon can outspeed and revenge kill Tornadus-T. Most of these Pokemon can not switch into Tornadus-T's attacks, however. Weavile is a Pokemon worth highlighting for its ability to Pursuit trap Tornadus-T.

Excellent analysis

One thing i would like to see
For the AV Pivot Tornadus-T set in Usage Tips i think the use of Tornadus versus Pokemons that often run Status moves need to be mentioned with a couple of examples when torn could stay in and risk the status for a worthy knock off that would be valuable in the lategame for one of its partners to win
For example if your team's wincon is SD Facade Gliscor or BD Azumarill and you want to weaken a Rotom-W it could be worth getting your Torn Statused to get it knocked
Same case dependin on your opponents team, if its a team with hitters like Mega Zam + Keldeo or something similar then your Torn is very high value and probably isnt worth gettin it statused
This example of Status awareness also goes for opposing Clefable, Heatran and Slowbro all common pokemons that stop offensive threats and can potentially be knocked by Tornadus-T but get it punished with a nasty status that would no longer allow it to check fast and strong threats that it otherwise would.

For Assault Vest Tornadus-T, Add Gastrodon in here as another relevant Electric immunity (seen alot in spl and stour) that can comfortably switch into Magnezone and other electric types when it is out of range of heatwave (and in range of an electric move). Also mention breakers such as Mega Medicham, Specs Keldeo, CB Weavile, Choice Specs Latios and others etc, who appreciated being brought into battle safely via Torn's U-Turn. Mention Pokemon such as Rotom-W and Magnezone who can create a VoltTurn core with Torn-T. Also, add on that Mega Scizor can be used to switch into Mega Metagross, Mega Diancie, Weavile, and Kyurem-Black (less relevant but potentially worth mentioning). Can mention Skarmory as a means of switching into Mega Lopunny, Mega Metagross, and Weavile which all threaten Torn.

Great job n_n

(RS)x4Hurricane provides a strong flying Flying STAB, allowing Tornadus-T to hit mons Pokemon such as Serperior and Keldeo hard. (RS)The second moveslot is very team dependent. (RS)Heat wave Heat Wave (Capitalize Pokemon moves) allows torn to hit mons Pokemon such as Mega Metagross, Mega Scizor, and other steel types Steel-types hard, and is generally the best option. (RS)Superpower allows torn Tornadus-T to threaten mons Pokemon such as Tyranitar and Heatran. (RS)Hidden Power Ice is used when your team needs a back-up (Back-up is usually hyphenated) check to gliscor. (RS)HP Ice Hidden Power Ice also hits Garchomp and Landorus-T harder than hurricane Hurricane would, but it is usually the least useful of the three options. (RS)If your team is weak to Mega Charizard-(AS)Y or Volcarona, smack down Smack Down is an option that allows Torn Tornadus-T to hit them for super effective damage. (RS)This is usually not recommended, though, as smack down Smack Down is very weak and Torn’s Tornadus-T's ability to check Zard / Volc them (Either write them in full as normal, or use "them") with it is shaky at best. (RS)In the final two moveslots, (AC) we have knock off Knock Off and u-turn U-turn, which are both usually mandatory (These two words don't go that well together; maybe change the wording?). Knock off Knock Off allows Torn Tornadus-T to cripple its switch-ins(AH) (Always hyphenate "switch-in") by removing their item. (RS)U-turn allows Torn Tornadus-T to gain momentum and make use of its wonderful ability in regenerator Regenerator (You could possibly reword this to just say "make use of Regenerator", but it seems fine like this anyway).

Set Details
========

(RS)x4Assault Vest is the item of choice on Torn Tornadus-T to allow it to check common special attackers Special Attackers such as; (ASC) Keldeo, Serperior, and Latios. (RS)252 speed evs Speed EVs (Always capitalize it like this) with a positive speed Speed-boosting (Rolls off the tongue much better, making it easier to read) nature allows Tornadus-T to outspeed pokemon Pokemon such as; (ASC) Starmie, scarf Choice Scarf Tyranitar, Serperior, and the rare alakazam Alakazam. (RS)248 hp evs HP EVs maximizes Torn’s Tornadus-T's overall bulk. (RS)When running superpower Superpower, a jolly Jolly nature can be used. This allows Torn Tornadus-T to guarantee the ohko vs OHKO against no bulk Tyranitar after rocks Stealth Rock, (AC) and deal more damage to mons Pokemon such as Heatran and Excadrill with superpower (This is redundant, you've mentioned Superpower already). (RS)When running hidden power ice Hidden Power Ice, 144 HP / 148 SpA / 216 Spe is recommended with a timid Timid nature. This spread allows you to two hit KO 2HKO gliscor Gliscor with hp ice Hidden Power Ice while still outspeeding scarf Choice Scarf Tyranitar and keeping as much bulk as possible (Last I checked, "as much x as possible" is generally discouraged in analyses, but it seems to make sense here).

Usage Tips
========

(RS)x4Tornadus-T should be used as a pivot versus (could maybe put against instead?) common special attackers Special Attackers such as Keldeo and Latios. (RS)When rocks are not on the field, Tornadus-T can switch into these pokemon pretty (this is a bit subjective, but comes off as fluff) freely thanks to its incredible special bulk when using the assault vest Assault Vest and its ability regenerator Regenerator (By this point it's very well-established that Regenerator is the ability, so it doesn't need to be mentioned again imo). When stealth rocks are Stealth Rock is up, however, Torn Tornadus-T must be much more careful. (RS)For example, when rocks are Stealth Rock is on the field, (AC) Mega Alakazam is able to two hit KO 2HKO Tornadus with psychic Psychic, and choice specs Choice Specs Latios has a slight chance to OHKO Torn with draco meteor Draco Meteor. Choice specs Specs Keldeo is also able to muscle through Torn Tornadus-T with either hydro pump Hydro Pump or scald Scald after a couple of switch-ins(AH).
(spacing)
(RS)x4
If your Tornadus does not have any significant defensive value versus your opponent’s team, you can make use of Tornadus’s acces access (spelling) to knock off Knock Off to remove items from pokemon Pokemon such as; (ASC) Heatran, Clefable and Rotom-w Rotom-W; crippling them for the rest of the game and opening up doors for Torn’s Tornadus-T's teammates. (RS)All three of the aforementioned pokemon Pokemon can carry status moves though, so you must carefully weigh the risk versus reward (Risk-Reward Factor could possibly be written here to read better?) of getting statused in return for knocking off an item.

(RS)x4
During the battle, it is often best to switch Torn Tornadus-T into a mon Pokemon that it checks and then use either u-turn U-turn to gain momentum and gauge your opponent’s reaction to Torn Tornadus-T, or knock off Knock Off to punish your opponent’s switch-in(AH).(RP, RS) Hurricane, since it can be a big momentum killer early-mid game, (RS)should usually only be clicked during the late game when your opponent’s team is weakened, or in a scenario where it is too risky to u-turn/knock off U-turn or Knock Off.

(RS)Gastrodon is also worth mentioning for its ability to wall all of the relevant electric types Electric-types in the tier. Excadrill is (RS)a good partner for Tornadus-T, as it is able to spin away stealth rocks Stealth Rock (You could outright say entry hazards as a catch-all, but eh, semantics) and switch into pokemon Pokemon such as Clefable. (RS)Strong water and fighting types Water- and Fighting-types such as Keldeo, Azumarill, and Mega Medicham can take advantage of some of Torn’s Tornadus-T's common checks, and appreciate the safe switch-in that Torn’s u-turn Tornadus-T's U-turn gives them. (RS)Clefable also appreciates Tornadus-T removing the items from pokemon such as Heatran and Excadrill. (RS)Similarly, Serperior appreciates Torn’s Tornadus-T's ability to knock off Knock Off Heatran, and is also able to switch into and threaten pokemon Pokemon such as Rotom-W. (RS)Lastly, strong steel types Steel-types such as Mega Metagross and Mega Scizor are able to take advantage of Torn u-turning vs clefable Tornadus-T U-turning against Clefable (Could possibly be written a bit differently, I encourage experimenting a bit with this line), and the latter also appreciates Torn’s Tornadus-T's ability to remove Heatran’s item. (You may want to split this bit into its own sentence as an aside, as it runs on a bit. Or, move it to the line about Serperior appreciating this exact thing, like this; "Similarly, Mega Scizor and Serperior appreciate Tornadus-T's ability to Knock Off Heatran; Serperior is also able to switch into and threaten Pokemon such as Rotom-W.". The semicolon allows it to merge together without breaking coherency.)

(RS)x4One of the things that makes (no plural needed here) offensive Tornadus-T so dangerous is its access to STAB hurricane; Hurricane, (RSC, AC) (Semicolons aren't used that way) a move that compensates for its 70% accuracy with raw power. (RS)Superpower is the coverage option of choice, as it enables Torn Tornadus-T to hit T-tar Tyranitar, Heatran, Chansey and Excadrill for super effective damage, and hits all four of the aforementioned pokemon Pokemon harder than focus blast Focus Blast would. (I think you could restructure this in a way that makes it shorter; "Superpower is the coverage option of choice; it enables Tornadus-T to hit Tyranitar, Heatran, Chansey and Excadrill for super effectively, and harder than Focus Blast would otherwise." (RS)Taunt is used to stop pokemon Pokemon such as Gliscor, Clefable, Chansey, Hippowdon and Gastrodon from using their healing moves, which helps Torn break through fatter bulkier (Imo this works better as a catch-all term) teams. (RB)It can also be used to deny entry hazards from various pokemon Pokemon, (AC) such as Garchomp and Ferrothorn. (RS)In the last slot, you can use either knock off or u-turn Knock Off or U-turn. (RS)Knock off Knock Off is useful when playing going against Chansey and or (You're not fighting both Pokemon at the same time, so "or" makes more sense here) Rotom-W, since knocking off their item will severely cripple them. (RS)It is also useful versus Zapdos and opposing assault vest Assault Vest Tornadus. (RS)If, (RC) instead of removing these pokemon’s Pokemon's items you would prefer to grab gain momentum vs against (This reads a lot better for the reader imo) them, you can use u-turn U-turn in the final slot.

(RS)x4Life orb Life Orb is the item of choice on offensive Torn Tornadus-T to maximize it’s mixed offensive power. 76 Atk Attack EVs, (AC) coupled with life orb Life Orb, (AC) allows Torn Tornadus-T to OHKO offensive Excadrill with superpower Superpower, as well as the majority of non chople non-Chople support T-tars Tyranitars. (RS)It also allows you Tornadus-T (Tornadus-T is the one attacking!) to two-hit-ko 2HKO max hp HP Heatran after rocks Stealth Rock, and Max hp bold max HP Bold Chansey after knocking off its eviolite Eviolite. 252 speed evs Speed EVs with a positive nature should be used to take advantage of Torn’s Tornadus-T's incredible seed Speed tier, outspeeding pokemon Pokemon such as Thundurus, Serperior and Starmie. (RS)It also allows you Tornadus-T to speed tie opposing Torn opposing Tornadus-T (Could possibly be worded better, try experimenting!). (RS)A Naive nature is usually prefered to take hits from priority users such as Mega Scizor, Azumarill and Bisharp better; although however, (AC) (Usually, a word like "although" isn't used after a semicolon. In the context of what comes after, "however" is far more appropriate) a Hasty nature can be used if you need Torn Tornadus-T to switch into special attackers Special Attackers such as like Serperior ("Such as" is repeated a lot throughout, so adding "like" here can reduce repetition and make it easier to read). (RS)The rest of the evs EVs are dumped into SpAtk Special Attack to maximize the power of Torn’s Tornadus-T's Hurricane, allowing it to two-hit-ko 2HKO Gliscor and bold Bold Clefable. (RS)Regenerator gives Torn Tornadus-T the longevity it needs to properly break bulkier teams.(Does Regenerator really need noting when it's its only ability anyway? Seems a bit redundant, but it doesn't seem to be doing any harm...)

Usage Tips
========

(RS)x4When playing against bulkier teams, Tornadus should be used as a wallbreaker. (RS)This means bringing it in safely on pokemon Pokemon that it threatens forces out, and then punching holes in the opponents opponent's (AA) team with hurricane; Hurricane, (RSC, AC)(The semicolon isn't a substitute for commas) or using either knock off Knock Off to remove an item, (AC) or u-turn U-turn to grab gain (Using "grab" here feels a bit weird to read. This is more of a subjective change imo) momentum. (RS)x2When playing against more offensive teams, you should take advantage of Torn’s Tornadus-T's incredible speed excellent Speed (You use "incredible" in the previous section, so substituting the word is beneficial to remove repetition) tier and use it as a revenge killer. (RS)You can also make use of Torn’s Tornadus-T's natural bulk and use it to switch into pokemon Pokemon such as Serperior, although you should (If you really want to use a semicolon, here is a good place. You could use "...Pokemon such as Serperior; be wary...") be wary of a potential glare Serp Glare Serperior. Even with regenerator Regenerator recovery, Tornadus-T can quickly be worn down from stealth rocks damage by Stealth Rock, life orb Life Orb recoil, and attack damage. (RS)This means that you should always be aware of the importance of your Torn’s Tornadus-T's HP, and you usually shouldn’t throw Torn Tornadus-T into attacks.

Team Options
========

(RS)x4Some of the biggest thorns in Tornadus-T’s side are electric types Electric-types, primarily Rotom-W and Zapdos, so teammates that can wear down or lure in those two pokemon are appreciated. (RS)Slowbro is a notable mention, especially if running toxic (Toxic). (RS)Even without toxic Toxic, Slowbro can still fish for scald Scald burns against these pokemon Pokemon, and Tornadus-T is able to check grass types Grass-types that threaten Slowbro. (RS)Heatran is another pokemon Pokemon that can lure in and poison/burn potentially Poison or Burn Rotom. Speaking of Rotom-Wash, it actually functions well alongside Torn Tornadus-T, as rotom Rotom-W is able to volt switch Volt Switch into grass types Grass-types such as Amoongus Amoonguss and Tangrowth, giving Torn Tornadus-T a free switch-in (AH). (RS)Starmie is a pokemon Pokemon that functions in a similar way to Slowbro; ,(RSC, AC) luring in rotom Rotom (-W..?) and other electric types Electric-types and burning/poisoning either burning or poisoning them. (RS)Starmie is also able to rapid spin rocks off the field spin away Stealth Rock, while Torn Tornadus-T is able to lure in unsuspecting Tyranitar and nuke them with superpower Superpower. Excadrill can also spin away rocks Stealth Rock for Torn Tornadus-T, and the sand rush Sand Rush variants can run toxic Toxic to lure Rotom. (RS)Hippowdon is another notable teammate, as it can check the majority of Torn’s Tornadus-T's offensive answers such as Mega Metagross, Mega Diancie, and sand rush Sand Rush Excadrill. (RS)Hippowdon can also lure in and get a toxic Toxic off vs VS Rotom-W. (RS)Lastly, Serperior can check Rotom-W, and(RS) appreciates Torn’s Tornadus-T's ability to lure in Heatran. (RS)Serp Serperior is also able to catch opposing Assault Vest Tornadus-T(?) with glare Glare, making your Torn’s own Tornadus-T's job much easier.

Other Options
=============

(RS)x4Air slash Air Slash is an option on the assault vest Assault Vest set if you want a more accurate flying Flying STAB; the huge drop in power is usually not worth it, however. Icy wind Icy Wind has some merit, (RC) since it drops the opponent’s speed. (RS)The only reason to run ice Ice coverage on Torn Tornadus-T is to check Gliscor though, and icy wind Icy Wind is not a guaranteed two hit ko 2HKO. (RS)Focus blast Focus Blast can be used over superpower, Superpower; (RC, ASC) however, (AC) it is much less consistent due to its lower accuracy(RS). (RC)On top of that, the pokemon Pokemon that you want to hit with your fighting Fighting coverage are generally bulkier on the special side (Chansey, T-tar and Heatran), such as Chansey or Tyranitar, (brackets are generally discouraged in analyses, and this reads a lot better imo) so superpower Superpower does more to them.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric Types Electric-types**: Zapdos is probably the best counter to Tornadus-T, as it resists the majority of Torn’s Tornadus-T's attacks and can roost Roost off any damage taken. (RS)Rotom-Wash can switch into Torn Tornadus-T and can either get a slow volt switch Volt Switch, (AC) or threaten it with a will-o-wisp or thunder wave Will-O-Wisp or Thunder Wave. (RS)Rotom-W (clarity enhancement) does not appreciate getting knocked off however, as leftovers Leftovers are its only form of recovery outside of pain split Pain Split. (RS)Thundurus (Incarnate or Therian? I think it should be noted here; Thunderus-I or Thundurus-T) is a pokemon Pokemon that can offensively check Torn Tornadus-T, as it naturally resists Torn’s its (You just mentioned Tornadus, so you don't need to note it twice) STAB and u-turn U-turn. (RS)Thundurus must be careful wary (imo more fitting wording, but feel free to disregard) of hidden power ice and knock off Hidden Power Ice and Knock Off though.

**Steel Types Steel-types**: Many steel types Steel-types can check Tornadus-T if Torn it lacks the proper coverage move to hit them. (RS)Heatran can check all non-superpower Torn non-Superpower Tornadus-T, as it resists both Torn’s its STAB and u-turn U-turn. (RS)Heatran’s only form of recovery is leftovers Leftovers, however, so once it gets knocked off it is very easy to wear down. (RS)Specially defensive Skarmory is able to switch into AV Torn Assault Vest Tornadus-T if it lacks heat wave Heat Wave. (RS)Taunt and heat wave Heat Wave Tornadus-T will beat Skarmory, (AC) though. Specially defensive Jirachi is probably (You should maintain a "sure" tone; saying "probably" implies otherwise) one of the best Torn Tornadus-T answers, as it is naturally bulky and has access to wish+protect Wish + Protect (These should be spaced), u-turn and body slam U-turn and Body Slam. (RS) Choice Scarf Jirachi can also revenge kill Tornadus-T fairly reliably(With what? I think a clarity enhancement would benefit this bit a lot, though I'm not QC or anything, so it may be a bit out of my element). (RS)Lastly, Mega Metagross can check all Torn Tornadus-T variants, as heat wave Heat Wave is only a 38.7% roll to two hit ko 2HKO Mega Metagross, (AC) and ice punch/thunder punch its Ice Punch and Thunder Punch both have a an almost certain chance to OHKO Torn Tornadus-T after Stealth Rock (Calc'd it as I didn't remember this being a thing at all; 252+ Atk Metagross Ice Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Tornadus-Therian: 224-264 (74.9 - 88.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO, 98.3% chance to OHKO after SR. Added clarity accordingly.).

**Rock Types Rock-types**: Tyranitar is able to switch into non superpower non-Superpower Tornadus-T and threaten force it out with its rock Rock STAB, although u-turn U-turn will quickly wear it down; (ASC) T-tar Tyranitar also has the option to pursuit trap Torn Pursuit trap Tornadus-T. (RS)Mega Diancie can switch into Torn Tornadus-T a couple of times and threaten force it out with diamond storm STAB Diamond Storm. (RS)x2Mega Aerodactyl is a mon Pokemon that can switch into all of Torn’s Tornadus-T's attacks and either roost Roost off the damage, (AC) or threaten it with a powerful stone edge STAB Stone Edge.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: (RS)x2Specially bulky pokemon that are not weak to Tornadus-T’s coverage such as Clefable, Gliscor, Slowking, Gastrodon and Hippowdon can all switch into non offensive Torn non-offensive variants, (AC) and heal off the damage with their recovery moves. (RS)These pokemon Pokemon will get shut down by the rare taunt Torn Tornadus-T, however.

**Faster Attackers**: Faster pokemon Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny, Weavile, Mega Manectric, sand rush Sand Rush Excadrill and some scarfers can outspeed and revenge kill Torn Tornadus-T. Most of these pokemon Pokemon can(RS)not switch into Torn’s Tornadus-T's attacks, however. Weavile is a pokemon Pokemon worth highlighting for its ability to threaten out and pursuit trap Pursuit trap Tornadus-T.

Moves

(no indent) Hurricane provides a strong Flying STAB, allowing Tornadus-T Tornadus-T with a strong Flying-type STAB move, allowing it to hit Pokemon such as Serperior and Keldeo hard. The second moveslot is very team dependent. Heat Wave allows Tornadus-T to hit Pokemon such as Mega Metagross, Mega Scizor, and other Steel-types hard, (RC) and is generally the best option. Superpower allows tornadus-T Tornadus-T to threaten Pokemon such as Tyranitar and Heatran. Hidden Power Ice is used when can be used if your team needs a back-up check to Gliscor. Hidden Power Ice also hits Garchomp and Landorus-T harder than Hurricane would, but it is usually the least useful of the three options. (spacing) If your team is weak to Charizard-Y Mega Charizard Y or Volcarona, Smack Down is an option that allows Tornadus-T to hit them for super effective damage. This is usually not recommended, though, as Smack Down is very weak and Tornadus-T’s ability to check Charizard-Y Mega Charizard Y and Volcarona with it is shaky at best. In the final two moveslots we have Knock Off and U-turn, which are both mandatory. Knock off For its final two moveslots, Knock Off and U-turn are both mandatory for Tornadus-T. Knock Off allows Tornadus-T to cripple its switch-ins (i would list some examples here because otherwise this is just dex fluff) by removing their item. U-turn allows Tornadus-T to gain momentum and make use of its wonderful ability in Regenerator (again, this is honestly just fluff, so maybe add something to it like what pokemon torn-t can pivot out on, just a suggestion tho).

Set Details
========

(no indent) Assault Vest is the item of choice on Tornadus-T to allow it to allows Tornadus-T to check common Special Attackers special attackers such as Keldeo, Serperior, and Latios. 252 Speed EVs with a Speed-boosting (RH) nature allows allow Tornadus-T to outspeed pokemon Pokemon such as Starmie, Choice Scarf Tyranitar, Serperior, and the rare Alakazam. 248 HP EVs maximizes Tornadus-T’s overall bulk. (fluff) When running Superpower, a Jolly nature can be used. This allows Tornadus-T to guarantee that Tornadus can get the OHKO against no bulk Tyranitar (i would make this more formal but idk what it would would be specifically, i.e. no defensive investment, so i would change it to whatever it would be specifically) after rocks Stealth Rock and deal more damage to Pokemon such as Heatran and Excadrill. When running Hidden Power Ice, a spread of 144 HP / 148 SpA / 216 Spe is recommended with a Timid nature. (RP) This spread allows you, (AC) allowing Tornadus-T to 2HKO Gliscor with Hidden Power Ice while still outspeeding Choice Scarf Tyranitar and keeping as much bulk as possible.

Usage Tips
========

(no indent) Tornadus-T should be used as a pivot against common Special Attackers special attackers such as Keldeo and Latios. (spacing) When rocks are Stealth Rock is not on the field, Tornadus-T can switch into these Pokemon pretty freely thanks to its incredible special bulk when using the with an Assault Vest and its ability Regenerator. When Stealth Rocks are up Rock is set, however, Tornadus-T must be much more careful. For example, when Stealth Rocks are on the field after Stealth Rock damage, (AC) (assuming this is what you meant) Mega Alakazam is able to 2HKO Tornadus-t Tornadus-T with Psychic, and Choice Specs Latios has a slight chance to OHKO Tornadus-T with Draco Meteor. Choice Specs Keldeo is also able to muscle through Tornadus-T with either Hydro Pump or Scald after a couple of switch-ins.

If your Tornadus-T does not have any significant defensive value versus your opponent’s team, you can make use of Tornadus-T’s its access to Knock Off to remove items from Pokemon such as Heatran, Clefable and Rotom-w; Rotom-W, (AC) crippling them for the rest of the game and opening up doors for Tornadus-T’s teammates. All three of the aforementioned Pokemon can carry status moves, (AC) though, so you must carefully weigh the risk versus reward of getting statused of getting inflicted by status in return for knocking off removing an item.

During the battle, it is often best to switch Tornadus-T into a Pokemon that it checks and then use either U-turn to gain momentum and gauge your opponent’s reaction to Tornadus-T, (RC) or Knock Off to punish your opponent’s switch-in. Hurricane, since it can be a big momentum killer early- to mid-game (AH), should usually only be clicked during the late game used late-game when your opponent’s team is weakened, (RC) or in a scenario where it is too risky to use U-turn or Knock Off. (AP)

Team Options
========

(no indent) Assault Vest Tornadus-T fits well on bulky offense and balance teams that appreciate Tornadus-T’s its ability to sponge Special Attacks special attacks and maintain offensive momentum. Bulky Ground-types such as TankChomp, Gliscor, (AC) and Hippowdon pair well with Tornadus-T, as all three are able to switch into Tyranitar and are immune to Electric-type attacks, and the former two are also able to switch into Heatran, while Tornadus-T is able to tank hits from strong Water- (AH) and Grass-types such as Keldeo and Serperior. Gastrodon is also worth mentioning for its ability to wall all of the relevant Electric-types in the tier. Excadrill is also a good partner for Tornadus-T, as it is able to spin away remove Stealth Rocks and switch into Pokemon such as Clefable. Strong Water- (AH) and Fighting-types such as Keldeo, Azumarill, and Mega Medicham can take advantage of some of Tornadus-T’s common checks, (RC) and appreciate the safe switch-ins that Tornadus-T’s U-turn it gives them. Clefable is a solid partner for Tornadus-T, as it is able to switch into Pokemon that force Tornadus-T out such as Weavile and Choice Scarf Tyranitar, as well as Rotom-W and Zapdos. (spacing) Clefable also appreciates Tornadus-T removing the items from Pokemon such as Heatran and Excadrill. Similarly, Serperior appreciates Tornadus-T’s ability to Knock Off remove Heatran's item, and it is also able to switch into and threaten Pokemon such as Rotom-W. Lastly, strong Steel-types such as Mega Metagross and Mega Scizor are able to take advantage of Tornadus-T U-turning vs pivoting out versus Clefable, and the latter also appreciates Torn’s Tornadus-T's ability to remove the items from Pokemon such as Heatran and Rotom-W.

Moves

(no indent) One of the things that makes offensive Tornadus-T so dangerous is its access to STAB Hurricane, a move that compensates for its 70% accuracy with raw power. Superpower is the coverage option of choice, as it enables Tornadus-T to hit Tyranitar, Heatran, Chansey, (AC) and Excadrill for super effective damage, (RC) and hits all four of the aforementioned Pokemon of them harder than Focus Blast would. Taunt is used to stop Pokemon such as Gliscor, Clefable, Chansey, Hippowdon, (AC) and Gastrodon from using their healing recovery moves, which helps Tornadus-T break through Bulkier bulkier teams. It can also be used to deny entry hazards from various Pokemon, such as Garchomp and Ferrothorn. In the last slot, you can use either Knock Off or U-turn. Knock Off is useful when going against Chansey or Rotom-W, since knocking off removing their item will severely cripple them. (spacing) It is also useful against Zapdos and opposing Assault Vest Tornadus-T. If, instead of removing these Pokemon’s items you would prefer to gain momentum against them, (RC) If you would prefer gaining momentum over removing items, (AC) you can use U-turn in the final slot.

(no indent) Life Orb is the item of choice on offensive Tornadus-T to maximize it’s mixed offensive power. 76 Attack EVs, coupled with Life Orb, (RC) 76 Attack EVs alongside a Life Orb allows Tornadus-T to OHKO offensive Excadrill and most non-Chople support Tyranitars Berry Tyranitar with Superpower. It also allows Tornadus-T to 2HKO maximum HP investment Heatran after Stealth Rocks and Max HP maximum HP investment Bold Chansey after knocking off removing its Eviolite. 252 Speed EVs with a positive nature should be used to take advantage of Tornadus-T’s incredible Speed tier, outspeeding Pokemon such as Thundurus-I (if you mean -T then change it to that, but if you actually mean the regular forme here then remove the -I), Serperior, (AC) and Starmie. (RP) It also allows you to speed tie as well as Speed tying with opposing Tornadus-T. A Naive nature is usually preferred to take hits from priority users such as Mega Scizor, Azumarill, (AC) and Bisharp better; however, a Hasty nature can be used if you need Tornadus-T to switch into Special Attackers special attackers like Serperior. The rest of the EVs are dumped into Special Attack to maximize the power of Tornadus-T’s Hurricane, allowing it to 2HKO Gliscor and Bold Clefable. Regenerator gives Tornadus-T the longevity it needs to properly break bulkier teams.

This means bringing it in safely on Pokemon that it threatens out, (RC) and then punching holes into the opponents opponent's team with Hurricane, (RC) or using either Knock Off to remove an item or U-turn to gain momentum. When playing against more offensive teams, you should take advantage of Tornadus-T’s excellent Speed tier and use it as a revenge killer. You can also make use of Tornadus-T’s natural bulk and use it to switch it into Pokemon such as Serperior, although you should be wary of a potential Glare Serperior. (spacing) Even with Regenerator recovery, Tornadus-T can quickly be worn down from Stealth Rocks damage, Life Orb recoil, and attack damage. (spacing) This means that you should always be aware of the importance of your Tornadus-T’s HP, and you usually Tornadus-T's HP and shouldn’t throw Tornadus-T it into attacks.

Team Options

(no indent) Some of the biggest thorns in Tornadus-T’s side are Electric-types, primarily Rotom-W and Zapdos, so teammates that can wear down or lure in those two Pokemon are appreciated. Heatran is another pokemon Pokemon that can lure in and potentially poison or burn Rotom-W. Speaking of Rotom-W, it actually functions well alongside Tornadus-T, as Rotom-W it is able to use Volt Switch into grass-types against Grass-types such as Amoongus and Tangrowth, giving Tornadus-T a free switch-in (AH). Starmie is a pokemon Pokemon that functions in a similar way to Slowbro, luring in rotom-W and other electric types Rotom-W and other Electric-types and either burning or poisoning them. Starmie is also able to remove Stealth Rocks with Rapid Spin. Tornadus-T is able to help Starmie by luring in Tyranitar and knocking it out KOing it with Superpower. Excadrill can also spin away rocks remove Stealth Rock with Rapid Spin for Tornadus-T, and the Sand Rush variants can run Toxic to lure in Rotom-W. Hippowdon is another notable teammate, as it can check the majority of Tornadus-T’s offensive answers such as Mega Metagross, Mega Diancie, and Sand Rush Excadrill. Hippowdon can also lure in and get a toxic off vs Rotom-W and inflict it with Toxic. Lastly, Serperior can check Rotom-W, (RC) and (spacing) appreciates Tornadus-T’s ability to lure in Heatran. Serperior is also able to catch opposing Assault Vest Tornadus-T with Glare, making your own Tornadus-T’s job much easier.

Other Options

(no indent) Air Slash is an option on the Assault Vest set if you want a more accurate Flying-type STAB move; the huge drop in power is usually not worth it, however. Icy Wind has some merit, (AC) since it drops the opponent’s speed foe's Speed. The only reason to run Ice-type coverage on Tornadus-T is to check Gliscor, (AC) though, and Icy Wind is not a guaranteed 2HKO. Focus Blast can be used over Superpower, however but it is much less consistent due to its lower accuracy. On top of that, the Pokemon that you want to hit with your Fighting-type coverage are generally bulkier on the special side, such as Chansey, Heatran or, (AC) and Tyranitar, so Superpower does more to them.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric Types Electric-types**: Zapdos is probably (i would prefer you use a word that's more assertive than unsure) the best counter to Tornadus-T, as it resists the majority of Tornadus-T’s attacks and can recover any damage taken with Roost. Rotom-W can switch into Tornadus-T and can either get a slow Volt Switch off against it or threaten it with a Will-O-Wisp or Thunder Wave. Rotom-W does not appreciate its item being removed by Knock Off, (AC) however, as Leftovers are is its only form of recovery outside of Pain Split. (spacing) Thundurus is a pokemon Pokemon that can offensively check Tornadus-T, as it naturally resists its STAB move and U-turn. (spacing) Thundurus It must be wary of Hidden Power Ice and Knock Off, (AC) though.

**Steel Types Steel-types**: Many steel types Steel-types can check Tornadus-T if it lacks the proper coverage move to hit them. Heatran can check all non-Superpower variants of Tornadus-T, as it resists both Torn’s its STAB move and U-turn. Heatran’s only form of recovery is Leftovers, however, so once it gets knocked off hit by Knock Off, (AC) it is very easy to wear down. Specially defensive Skarmory is able to switch into Assault Vest Tornadus-T if it lacks Heat Wave. (spacing) Specially defensive Jirachi is one of the best answers to Tornadus-T, as it is naturally bulky and has access to Wish, which allows it to stay healthy. Choice Scarf Jirachi can also revenge kill Tornadus-T fairly reliably. (spacing) Lastly, Mega Metagross can check all Tornadus-T variants, as heat wave is only a 38.7% roll to Heat Wave only has a small chance to 2HKO Metagross, (AC) and its Ice Punch and Thunder Punch both have an almost certain chance to OHKO Tornadus-T after Stealth Rocks.

**Rock Types Rock-types**: Tyranitar is able to switch into non-Superpower Tornadus-T and threaten it out with its Rock-type STAB moves, although U-turn will quickly wear it down. Tyranitar also has the option to Pursuit Trap trap Tornadus-T. (spacing) Mega Diancie can switch into Tornadus-T a couple of times and threaten it out with Diamond Storm. (spacing) Mega Aerodactyl is a mon Pokemon that can switch into all of Torn’s Tornadus-T's attacks and either Roost recover off the damage, (RC) with or threaten it with a powerful Stone Edge.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Specially bulky pokemon defensive Pokemon that are not weak to Tornadus-T’s coverage such as Clefable, Gliscor, Slowking, Gastrodon, (AC) and Hippowdon can all switch into non-offensive (AH) Tornadus-T and heal off the damage with their recovery moves. (spacing) These Pokemon will get shut down by the rare Taunt Tornadus-T, however.

**Faster Attackers**: Faster pokemon Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny, Weavile, Mega Manectric, Sand Rush Excadrill, (AC) and some Choice Scarf pokemon Pokemon (such as?) can outspeed and revenge kill Tornadus-T. Most of these Pokemon can not switch into Tornadus-T’s attacks, however. (spacing) Weavile is a pokemon Pokemon worth highlighting for its ability to threaten out and Pursuit trap (somewhat redundant imo) Tornadus-T.

U-turn allows Tornadus-T to gain momentum and make use of its wonderful ability in Regenerator (again, this is honestly just fluff, so maybe add something to it like what pokemon torn-t can pivot out on, just a suggestion tho).

Usage Tips
========

Usage Tips
========

(no indent) When playing against bulkier teams, Tornadus-T should be used as a wallbreaker.

========

(no indent) Some of the biggest thorns in Tornadus-T’s side are Electric-types, primarily Rotom-W and Zapdos, so teammates that can wear down or lure in those two Pokemon are appreciated. Slowbro is a notable mention, especially if running Toxic. Even without Toxic, Slowbro can still fish for Scald burns against these Pokemon, and Tornadus-T is able to check grass-types Grass-types that threaten Slowbro.

=============

===================

[OVERVIEW]

With a great Speed tier, powerful Flying-type STAB move in Hurricane, and abundance of coverage and utility moves to choose from, Tornadus-T has all of the tools necessary to be a top-tier(AH) Pokemon in ORAS OU.

Hidden Power Ice can be used if your team needs a back-up check to Gliscor (RP) Hidden Power Ice also and hits Garchomp and Landorus-T harder than Hurricane would, but it is usually the least useful of the three options. Knock Off allows Tornadus-T to cripple its switch-ins by removing their item,(period -> comma) while U-turn allows lets Tornadus-T to gain momentum and make use of its wonderful ability in Regenerator.
