Pokemon:
Lanturn
Type:

BST: 135(+10)58/88(+30)/96(+20)/86(+10)/107(+40) | (BST 570)
Abilities: Serene Grace, Surge Surfer, Levitate
New Moves: Hex, Shadow Ball, Earth Power
Notable Moves: Scald, Discharge, Hex, Dazzling Gleam, Ice Beam, Volt Switch
Justification: The real life animal Lanturn is based on is scary as hell. A fish that leads its prey in with a light before it eats it whole. Lanturn fits that dead fish mold so well in that its light can either help guide souls to the afterlife or to their doom as a snack.
Niche: Ghost/Electric is such a nice typing both defensively and offensively. I didn't know which way to go with the typing. So I decided to go with both. A nice speed stat allows Lanturn to function as a bulky late game cleaner with great HP and usable Special Attack. That same bulk also lets Lanturn be a great bulky pivot with volt switch, and two 60% status inducing moves to spread around status. Levitate makes Lanturn an even better wall and fits into the whole dead fish thing. Surge Surfer allows it to be used as an even better cleaner. Serene Grace allows it to spread status with scald and discharge, while also allowing for a powerful hex.

Pokemon: Noivern
Type:

BST: 85/70/80/112(+15)/80/143(+20) | (BST 570)
Abilities: Sheer Force, Adaptability, Infiltrator
New Moves: Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Moonblast
Notable Moves: Shadow Ball, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Moonblast, Air Slash, Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse
Justification: Noivern is basically a bat of the night much like Lunala, I loved that asthetic so I went with the whole Moongiest/ shadow bat thing.
Niche: The typing was way to good and hit to many things for it to not be used for offense. I made it really simple in that Noivern is now basically one of the best revenge killers with great speed and passable special attack. Its bulk is still very lackluster though. Sheer Force takes advantage of Its amazing coverage by boosting many of its moves. Adaptability takes further advantage of its great typing by boosting those two stabs to a great degree. Infiltrator makes sure that even with screens up, its job as a revenge killer is made easier.

Pokemon: Cloyster
Type:

BST: 50/110(+15)/180/105(+20)/45/80(+10) | (BST 570)
Abilities: Skill Link, Technician, Bulletproof
New Moves: Shadow Bone, Bone Rush, Shadow Sneak
Notable Moves: Shell Smash, Bone Rush, Icicle Spear, Rock Blast, Ice Shard, Shadow Sneak, All Hidden Powers, Hydro Pump, Shadow Bone
Justification: It's basically a Ghastly in a shell, so there's the theme, haunted Shell. A spirit takes over old shells.
Niche: Another simple one, a good old Shell smash sweeper. Its new typing lets it take advantage of choice locked Normal or fighting moves to set up. Better special attacks allows for Cloy to be a better mixed sweeper. Skill Link is pretty self explanatory. Technician lets any Hidden Power be abused giving special coverage, it also has the benefit of boosting Shadow Sneak or Ice Shard. Bulletproof bring forth new set up option, while also just making sense flavor wise.

Edit: Oops messed up my Hide's

Pokemon: Kyurem
Type:

BST: 95 (-30) / 125 (-5) / 80 (-10) / 125 (-5) / 80 (-10) / 95 BST: 570
Abilities: Pressure [HA: Sheer Force]
New Moves: Swords Dance, Icicle Crash, Shadow Bone
Removed Moves: Draco Meteor, Outrage, Dragon Breath, Dragon Rage
Justification/Niche: Kyurem coming in to rip up every and any threat it faces! It might have lost a couple BST, but what it gains is worth it times 10. swords dance makes physical sets potent, while Sheer Force allows it to tear up walls.

Pokemon: Noivern
Type:

BST: 90 (+5) / 70 / 80 / 107 (+10) / 80 / 143 (+20) BST: 570
Abilities: Adaptability / Infiltrator / Aerilate
New Moves: Will O Wisp, Hex, Destiny Bond
Removed Moves: None
Justification/Niche: With either powerful Adaptability dual STAB or strong Aerilate Boomburst coverage, Noivern is a dangerous cleaner. Pretty much nothing will be outspeeding it with 143 Speed.

Pokemon: Xurkitree
Type:

BST: 83 / 89 / 71 / 163 (-10) / 71 / 93 (+10) BST: 570
Abilities: Beast Boost / Prankster / Cursed Body
New Moves: Shadow Ball, Will O Wisp, Trick
Removed Moves: None
Justification/Niche: Xurkitree is a powerful wallbreaker with a sky high 163 Special Attack stat. It can competently run a Choice Scarf set and un through Offence.

Pokemon: Dusknoir
Type:
/

BST: 90 (+45) / 100 / 135 / 65 / 135 / 45 (BST: 570 (+45))
Abilities: Levitate / Pressure / (Frisk)
New Moves: Phantom Force / Recover / Topsy Turvy
Niche: Did you know Ghost/Electric is a pretty good defensive type? Its only threatening weakness is ground, but it can easily be fixed with levitate — which Dusknoir now have. This pokemon has an incredible potential, but was ruined by a really low HP and the lack of a good ability. I gave him both, with a couple more moves and an even better typing. It still has a really low speed, but who really cares about it...

Justification: The yellow stripes on its body looks like electric energy is filling its body. Also, it looks like it has an antena on its head.
Also, it flies.

Pokemon: Crabominable
Type:
/

BST: 100 (+3) / 167 (+35) / 101 (+24) / 62 / 97 (+30) / 43 (BST: 570 (+98))
Abilities: Technician / Anger Point / (Fluffy)
New Moves: Shadow Sneak / Ice Shard / Fake Out
Niche: Speed? Pffffffff... That's for losers when you can have Technician-boosted priorities! Crabominable, a pretty mediocre pokemon at the first place, can now shine with an outstanding attack, one of the best offensive STAB combination and godly abilities such as technician and fluffy. It is still very susceptible to status, it still has an incredibly bad defensive typing and, I mean, it's still slow, but at least it now has some tools to threaten foes.

Justification: Why ghost type? Crabominable is based of a yeti, a creature that might not exist but that many people believe into. And what else gets that treatment? Ghosts. Also, its purple and it has a mask (like if it has no face).
Fluffy? Sure it is!
Technician? The way his claws are made looks like cat claws — which can be really strong or really delicate when needing to. Exactly what technician hands should be like!

No Ghost/Dragon infortunately. Edited Dusknoir.

Just letting you know there's about 24 hours left to finish up submissions!

Pokemon: Aurorus
Type: Ghost/Ice
BST:
100 / 60 / 90 / 110 / 100 / 110
Abilities: Snow Warning, Prankster, Magic Bounce
New Moves: Shadow Ball, Aurora Veil, Will-o-wisp
Justification/Niche: Ghost because its extinct. Behold Froslass's replacement, but with better abilities. Any of its abilities work well what your team needs, and makes for a nice lead. Also has good support options like Stealth Rock and Will-o-wisp, and it can even do the pseudo-hazing route with Roar. Having a Fighting immunity also helps Hail teams, as it can set up hail while being immune to the Fighting move. Also it finally gets Aurora Veil. And it already has nice Boltbeam coverage.

Pokemon: Golurk
Type: Ghost/Electric
BST:
100 / 135 / 105 / 40 / 80 / 110
Abilities: Levitate, Contrary, Iron Fist
New Moves: Shadow Bone, Shadow Sneak, Wild Charge
Justification/Niche: Contrary Hammer Arm/Superpower to boost stats but also reverse Intimidates. Shadow Bone for a strong STAB option if using other abilities.

Mobile so screw formatting

Pokemon: Ninetales
Type: Fire / Fairy
Base Stats: 84 / 54 / 84 / 111 / 111 / 111 (555)
Abilities: Flash Fire, Drought
New Moves: Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast
Justification/Niche: Makes it quite a potent Nasty Plot Wallbreaker

Pokemon: Muk
Type: Fire/Poison
BST: 125/125/95/55/100/70 (570 BST)
Abilities: Poison Touch/Liquid Ooze/Gluttony
New Moves: Belly Drum, Flare Blitz
Removed Moves: none
Justification/Niche: Oh hey it’s Slurpuff but with Salazzle’s typing. Yeah, Muk is now a belly drum sweeper. That’s about it.
Sample moveset:
Muk @ Aguav Berry
Ability: Gluttony
EVs: 108 HP / 252 Atk / 148 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Belly Drum
- Flare Blitz
- Gunk Shot
- Shadow Sneak

Pokemon: Houndoom
Type: Poison/Fire
BST: 75 / 110 / 80 / 120 / 80 / 105
Abilities: Corrosion / Flash Fire / Intimidate (Hidden)
New Moves: Sludge Wave, Poison Jab, Gunk Shot
Justification/Niche: "They spew flames mixed with poison to finish off their opponents. They divvy up their prey evenly among the members of their pack."

Pokemon: Talonflame
Type: Fire/Flying
BST: 78 / 101 / 71 / 94 / 69 / 126
Abilities: Reckless / Moxie / Aerilate (Hidden)
New Moves: Extreme Speed, Hyper Voice,
Justification/Niche: Reckless boosts its Flare Blitz and Brave Bird, and Aerilate Extreme Speed gives it a new lease on life after the Gale Wings nerf.

Type: Fire/Fairy
Stats: 80/110/85/110/85/100 (570)
Ability: Victory Star / Pixelate (Competitive)
New Moves: Play Rough, Moonblast, Hyper Voice

Justification/Niche: Victini gets a slight power increase in exchange for some bulk; in combination with its ability choices this means it can go special, physical, or even mixed. The sheer power behind a pixelate boosted return as well as v create might emphasize physical sets, but special sets have the advantage of luring in physical walls as well as being able to effectively use any ability - Landorus switching in expecting a V-Create will take a boosted Searing Shot or Blue Flare to the face, Pixelate boosted Hyper Voice maintains respectable power, and Victory Star can be used for moves like Thunder and Focus Blast. Z-Celebrate sets don't appreciate the loss of Stored Power as a STAB move to hit Toxapex, but Hyper Voice has comparable power when boosted by Pixelate vs neutral targets, or Thunder can be used as a substitute.

Type: Fire / Flying
Stats: 90/75/90/135/85/95 (570)
Ability: Pressure / Magic Guard (Flame Body)
New Moves: Fiery Dance, Earth Power, Calm Mind

Justification: Obvious Ability is obvious - Moltres appreciates not only loss of SR damage but immunity to poison and Life Orb recoil. The buffed SpAtk and Spe both help Moltres eke out a bit more of a presence in OU, outspeeding Lando and speed tying with Lele and Zygarde. Fiery Dance has flavor and it also might be actually be useful over Fire Blast - A Dance (and a lucky raise)into either a Life Orb or Z boosted Hurricane can hurt most slower fire resists, and Earth Power exists for the Heatrans and Ttars of the world. Not as insanely powerful as Zard Y, but the powerful Flying STAB, the capability to hit Heatran harder, and ignoring rocks all will conspire to likely make Moltres the superior choice.

Type: Fire / Poison
Stats: 90/60/60/130/120/110 (570)
Ability: Corrosion / Mold Breaker (Merciless)
New Moves: Toxic Spikes, Focus Blast

Justification: This type is likely better defensively but this mon puts it to use offensively - its high special stats and speed give it a niche as a late game sweeper once sturdy special walls have been removed. This mon couldnt touch Heatran besides Toxic (ironically) so I not only gave it Focus Blast, but Mold Breaker lets it use its safer STAB move to deal damage. Corrosion is cool for wearing down its own checks though. Its surprising special bulk also can let it use Toxic Spikes somewhat effectively, taking a resisted hit, setting up T spikes, and coming in later to blast the shit out of pretty much everything.

Pokemon: Weezing
Type: Poison/Fire
Stats: 105/80/120/115/90/60
Ability: Levitate
New Moves: Recover, Overheat, Nasty Plot
Justification/Niche: Floating with weaknesses only to rock, Psychic and water is not horrible. Being immune to ground, quad resist to fair, bug and grass while resisting Fight, Fire, and Ice and Steel is okay. Immunity to both damaging status effects is good too.

In any case. Come in and wall something or NP to scare out a wouldbe 'counter. 105/120/90 defenses is very passable!

Pokemon: Moltres
Type: Flying/Fire
Stats: Same but -5 from both defenses
Ability: Magic Guard/Drought (Regenerator)
New Moves: Quiver Dance, Sacred Fire, Aeroblast
Justification: Moltres isn't a bad mon, it just cant quite sweep well and hates SR. So I fixed both issue kinda. With QD and longevity, it can at least pretend to. Lemme try a calc...
+1 252+ SpA Life Orb Moltres Fire Blast vs. 244 HP / 12 SpD Eviolite Chansey in Sun: 356-421 (50.7 - 59.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

It may not have Charizard-Y appeal but Charizard doesn't have a boosting move on the special side, doesn't have Hurricane when the sun runs out or the rain comes in, and doesn't have item flexibility. Something like Heat Rock means this Moltres can team play! It gets the GCS signature moves because it correlates to them, an d it serves damn useful utility to burn shit with better accuracy/damage than WoW and better Flying damage than Hurricane's anti-Sun stance!

Pokemon: Solrock
Type: Fire/Fairy
Stats: 90 / 125 / 95 / 55 / 75 / 130
Ability: Drought/Levitate (Magic Guard)
New Moves: Wild Charge, Play Rough, Head Smash

What do you mean I'm just inverting the stats of the winning Lunatone? That's insane! In any case, this sun of a bitch is scary. He has no damage recoil, or sunlight. But it's Solrock?! Yea, but let's just go with it!

Pokemon: Weezing
Type:
/

BST: 85 (+20) / 105 (+15) / 145 (+20) / 85 / 90 (+20) / 60 (BST: 570 (+75))
Abilities: Levitate
New Moves: Fire Lash, Bulk Up, Morning Sun
Niche: Poison/Fire type is a cool defensive typing held back only by a x4 ground weakness. But hey, that's what levitate is for! With that new typing, Weezing can now be used as a pretty good offensive wall. Its immunities to common status such as burn and toxic is definitively useful, and its new stats are nothing to laugh at (except maybe its speed). It has access to a second STAB and to reliable recovery, which is going to help him a lot. Finally, his weakness to stealth rock keeps him balanced.

Justification: Weezing is a mine, fire typing works fine for him.

Sample moveset: (optional)

Pokemon: Delphox
Type:
/

BST: 84 (+10) / 69 / 82 (+10) / 120 (+6) / 100 / 114 (+10) (BST: 570 (+36))
Abilities: Blaze / Natural Cure / (Competitive)
New Moves: Freeze-Dry, Volt Switch, Earth Power

Niche: Fire/Fairy is a pretty good offensive typing, so I decided to go all in with it. Delphox's force in NU is his unpredictability. Now, with new abilities and new moves, it is even more unpredictable! It also gains a few more stat points and a better STAB.

Justification: Since Delphox is a magician, fairy type work as much as psychic type did. Those three new moves kinda mimics magic spells it could cast.

Sample moveset: (optional)

Pokemon: Talonflame
Type:
/

BST: 88 (+10) / 106 (+25) / 71 / 100 (+26) / 69 / 126 (BST: 560 (+61))
Abilities: Flame Body / Dry Skin / (Gale Wings)
New Moves: Beak Blast / Drill Peck / Hurricane
Niche: I tried to give Gale Wings a comeback. With more attack, an usable special attack and STABs that don't automatically reduces its health, Talonflame should now have a good priority niche in OU. It could also be ran under rain with Hurricane and maybe Dry Skin (Gale Wings is still so much better lol), which I guess is interesting.

Justification: Dry Skin because fried chicken. Idk, there's nothing that really needs to be explained.

Pokemon: Torkoal
Type:
/

BST: 100 / 75 / 140 / 95 / 130 / 30 | BST: 570 (+30 HP, -10 Atk, +10 SpA, +60 SpD, +10 Spe)
Abilities: Corrosion / Shell Armor / Flash Fire
New Moves: Baneful Bunker, Recover, Venom Drench
Removed Moves: Shell Smash
Justification/Niche: Utilizes Fire/Poison defensively, which has eight resistances, including three 4x resistances, and three weaknesses. It has great bulk, reliable recovery, and the capacity to use Corrosion to annoy Steel- and Poison- types with Toxic or Baneful Bunker. Shell Smash was removed to emphasize its defensive capabilities. It can also Rapid Spin away hazards, set Stealth Rock, spread burns with Will-O-Wisp, or threaten sleep with Yawn, making it a good defensive utility Pokemon. However, be careful of the 4x weakness to Ground and weakness to Stealth Rock.
Sample Moveset:
Torkoal @ Black Sludge
Ability: Corrosion
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
IVs: 0 Atk
Bold Nature
- Toxic / Baneful Bunker
- Lava Plume
- Recover
- Stealth Rock / Rapid Spin / Sludge Bomb

Pokemon: Flareon
Type:
/

BST: 75 / 130 / 75 / 85 / 110 / 95 | BST: 570 (+10 HP, +15 Def, -10 SpA, +30 Spe)
Abilities: Flash Fire / Serene Grace
New Moves: Play Rough, Blaze Kick, Zen Headbutt
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification/Niche: Fire/Fairy is a good offensive typing, missing out on just Fire-types. High attack allows STAB Play Rough and Flare Blitz to hit hard, though Blaze Kick is a more spammable Fire-type option. Superpower is a useful coverage move against many Fire-types that might switch in, and Zen Headbutt helps against Poison-types that resist Fire, like Water/Poison or Fire/Poison.
Sample Moveset:
Flareon @ Choice Band
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz / Blaze Kick
- Play Rough
- Superpower
- Zen Headbutt

Pokemon: Ho-Oh
Type:
/

BST: 90 / 130 / 80 / 100 / 90 / 80 | BST: 570 (-16 HP, -10 Def, -10 SpA, -64 SpD, -10 Spe)
Abilities: Magic Guard / Regenerator
New Moves: Beak Blast, Wild Charge, U-turn
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification/Niche: A nerfed Ho-Oh that hopefully fits into OU. Magic Guard protects it against its 4x Stealth Rock weakness as well as Life Orb recoil while Regenerator is Regenerator. It has a high attack stat with access to strong moves like STAB Sacred Fire, Flare Blitz, Brave Bird, and Beak Blast, with offensive coverage options like Earthquake and Wild Charge. Roost/Recover provide it with better longevity, particularly if it uses Magic Guard.
Sample Moveset:
Ho-Oh @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard / Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Sacred Fire / Flare Blitz
- Brave Bird
- Earthquake
- Recover
