Ok, this is weird: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/dragonheaven-gen7typeoptimisation-49461
At turn 6 Mew used Genesis Supernova, but no Psychic Terrain appeared. Also, Torterra isn't able to learn Shell Smash for some reason.
Thanks for reporting
Fixed Torterra!
And for Mew I tested it out and found that Genesis Supernova gets boosted by Sheer Force since its summoning is a secondary effect. (Maybe the move description should be like Flame Charge's one saying 100% chance to summon Psychic Terrain)

And for
I'm not exactly too sure how Refrigerate interacts with Normal STAB and Ice/ Would charizard8888 know how it behaves in the simulators? At the very least Refrigerate would be useful for the more unique utility Normal moves like Fake Out/Extremespeed/Hyper Voice/Facade but that's about it imo.
As far as I know Refrigerate turns Normal (Whether STAB or not) into Ice-type and boosts its base power by 1.2 times. If you have an Ice-type moves enhancing item or ability like Never-Melt Ice then it'll further boost its base power. The Normal STAB shouldn't stack up with Normal type moves turned into Ice by Refrigerate, so it should still be 1.5x

For the min-maxing issue, I try not too go too overboard with things like 140 stats, although sometimes if a typing is too bad I feel the need to go at least 130. I do find I been using that threshold a bit more lately and I sort of feel bad about it but people don't vote for it anyway so I guess it doesn't work and that's fine. After all, it's all down on what people vote and respond to.

Sure some winners may be a bit too strong in practice compared to in theory, but there are also some kind of weaker ones. I guess the best way to find out is to just test them on the server. At some point down the line I might open a 'revisiting' slate to buff or nerf mons that need it.

Also speaking of the server, I find it Mummy Cofagrigus is pretty fun to use against Hariyama and Armaldo- especially when the latter's Rock Head disappears and it faints from recoil.

And, finally, speaking of voting- voting is now open!

Please use this format and remember to have a vote for each category and remember, you can't vote for yourself. Anyone can vote though!

Ice/Normal: Member's Pokemon
Ice/Bug: Member's Pokemon
Ice/Dark: Member's Pokemon

Voting ends on the 19th of February

Doing that only makes me feel much less inclined to vote.

Ice/Normal: Samtendo's Vanilluxe
Ice/Bug: Cookie Butter's Crabominable (I was gonna vote Sandslash, but holy hell does that Crabominable make me really want to use him)
Ice/Dark: Samtendo's Weavile

Samtendo09

Ability: Light Power

If G-Luke insists.

Ice/Normal: SolarBlade's Furret
Ice/Dark: Dilasc's Mightyeena
Ice/Bug: Stitch98's Masquerain

I aim for the obviously potential winners, except Furret since my Vanillluxe is winning, and we cannot self-votes.

Thanks for the votes! Here are the winners:

Congratulations to Samtendo09 's Ice/Normal Vanilluxe and Dilasc's Ice/Dark Mightyena.

Ice/Bug has a tie between Coolman6001's Sandslash-Alola and Stitch98's Masquerain, so there will be a 24 hour tiebreaker!

In the meantime, let's move on to the next slate-

.:Slate 21:.

Flying/Ghost, Flying/Normal, Flying/Fairy

Submission Ends: 27th of February
My tiebreaker vote goes to Coolman6001's Sandslash (it was a tough pick though, hard to decide between the two!)

Reserving Ghost/Flying Dedicidueye.
Can I vote for my own Sub in the tiebreaker?

Edit:

Decidueye
Type
:

Ability: Adaptability / Prankster / HA: Illusion
Old Stats: 78 / 107 / 75 / 100 / 100 / 70
New Stats: 65 / 115 / 60 / 115 / 90 / 125 (BST 570)
Added Moves: Hurricane, Air Slash, Will-O-Wisp
Justification/Niche: Fast sneaky anti-defogger, can contrast Intimidate and other threats. It already learnt all the physical STABs it needed, so I just added special moves, since it already has all the annoying moves all the Ghost-type have. Dunno if it would need also a defensive ability or some coverage, I'm open to suggestions.

Some sets:

Decidueye @ Choice Band/Scarf
Ability: Tough Claws/Defiant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly/Adamant Nature
- Shadow Sneak
- Spirit Shackle/Seed Bomb
- Brave Bird
- U-turn

Decidueye @ Choice Specs/Scarf
Ability: Competitive
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid/Modest Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Hurricane
- Giga Drain/Leaf Storm
- U-turn/Shadow Sneak/Baton Pass/Coverage

Decidueye @ Life Orb
Ability: Competitive
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD/ 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Shadow Ball
- Nasty Plot
- Roost/Will-O-Wisp

Decidueye @ Life Orb

Oricorio-Sensu
(The other Oricorio forms will get different Abilities and maybe even stats, although recommended to be 570 BST, once we give a chance to them, so don't mind the others)
Type:

Ability: Dancer | Prankster | Adaptability
New Stats: 80 (+5) / 118 (+48) / 70 / 118 (+20) / 70 / 114 (+21) (BST 570)
Added Moves: Will-O-Wisp, Shadow Sneak, Shadow Claw (To avoid the situation where the whole Oricorio will get more than three new moves, it will go into a Rotom compromise; only one form can learn and keep their own three new moves.)
Justification/Niche: Dancer is an interesting Ability, but Oricorio's awful stats prevent it from doing its full performance. I decided to get around it by raising Attack, Special Attack and Speed into fitting as a mixed sweeper, while also having Prankster to make great use of Defog, Will-O-Wisp and even Teeter Dance. Adaptability is to get around the weak STABs, although Adaptability Hurricane may hurt a lot. Dancer can counteract Dragon Dance or even Quiver Dance users by copying their move, and then use their own Swords Dance or Calm Mind respectively. If you are audacious, you can even do the opposite; Swords Dance after Quiver Dance, or Calm Mind after Dragon Dance for a mix sweeping terror!

Toucannon
Type
:

Ability: Intimidate | Skill Link | Sheer Force
New Stats: 100 (+20) / 140 (+20) / 110 (+35) / 65 (-10) / 90 (+15) / 65 (+5) (BST 570)
Added Moves: Iron Head, Earthquake, Flare Blitz
Justification/Niche: Toucannon's stats are built to make it a physical tank. As unlikely as it sounds, Toucannon can now utilize Beak Blast with less risk, as Beak Blast will always burn those who used a contact move, and Beak Blast itself is powerful Flying STAB. Toucannon's physical learnset is surprisingly good, so I just need to give it coverage moves, especially Flare Blitz so that it can harm Ferrothorn, Skarmory and Celesteela harder, and also Earthquake as a death warrant to Steel-type who are okay with a Flare Blitz on their face.

Wigglytuff
Type
:

Ability: Competitive | Aerilate | Technician
New Stats: 140 / 60 (-10) / 80 (+35) / 130 (+45) / 100 (+50) / 65 (+20) (BST 570)
Added Moves: Air Slash, Earth Power, Draining Kiss
Justification/Niche: Although Wigglytuff's new bulk is not comparable to Hariyama and Snorlax, it is still sufficient to make use of its high HP and can do what Togekiss cannot; Technician to boost Draining Kiss into a Fairy-type Giga Drain with better HP drain, or Aerilate to make a strong Flying-type Hyper Voice, or Competitive as a Intimidate bait or to punish any unlucky stat drop from the part of the opponent. Earth Power already enough to cover Poison, Rock, Steel and Electric, as well as threatening most non-Flying Fire-type such as Blacephalon. Wigglytuff's special learnset is already good, thus it can run BoltBeam, or Fire-type to get pesky Ice-type out of its way. Life Orb + Technician!Draining Kiss can make even the most solid Fighting, Dragon and Dark-type to be severely walled and even knocked out.

Voting myself on tiebreaker.

Reserving Normal/Flying Swellow, Ghost/Flying Drifblim, and Fairy/Flying Togekiss

For a random idea, why not use signature z-crystals for images on some of the slates, like using the image of Decidium-Z on the Grass V2 slate or the Tapunium-Z on the Fairy V2 slate or the Pikanium-Z on the Electric V2 slate? (And if you do use Pika z, make the slate Electric/Flying, Electric/Fairy, Electric/Steel)

Pokemon: Mandibuzz
Type: Flying/Ghost
Old BST: 110 / 65 / 105 / 55 / 95 / 80 (510)
New BST: 110 / 105 / 105 / 55 / 95 / 100 (570)
Abilities: Prankster | Intimidate | Rattled
New Moves: Shadow Bone, Shadow Sneak, Will-o-Wisp
Justification/Niche: With a very balanced statspread and movepool, this Mandibuzz stands out due to versatility. It already had many good utility moves such as Defog, Taunt, Tailwind and Whirlwind, but Will-o-Wisp is icing on the cake. Prankster lets Mandibuzz fully utilize those moves (and Roost), but it becomes a huge target for Dark-types due to the ability's Gen 7 mechanics and a Dark-type weakness. Intimidate loses out on the priority, but lets an already bulky Pokemon be even bulkier. To balance this out, it has Stealth Rock weakness, so it won't be switching in so easily. Finally, Rattled gives Mandibuzz a strange yet amusing offensive option with Weakness Policy. It has enough bulk to take super effective hits, and if the hit happens to be from a Dark or Ghost move, it will give Mandibuzz +2/+2/+1 offenses. After that, you can likely sweep with Shadow Bone/Brave Bird STABs and heal with Roost. You can also use Rattled to switch into Bug-type attacks, that will deal basically nothing due to Flying/Ghost's double Bug resistance, and will activate it. A fourth possible strategy with Mandibuzz is Z-Mirror Move, similar to Murkrow's set. Mirror Move paired with Flyinium-Z gives a +2 boost to Mandibuzz's Attack and uses the foe's last move as a Z-Move. It also has priority due to Prankster.

Pokemon: Castform
Type: Flying/Normal
Old BST: 70/70/70/70/70/70 (420)
New BST: 100/70/100/100/100/100 (570)
Abilities: Drizzle | Regenerator | No Guard
New Moves: Hyper Voice, Volt Switch
Justification/Niche: Forecast defeats the purpose of Type Optimization, but that doesn't stop Castform from being a good Flying/Normal candidate. It already has Hurricane, and a wide range of coverage moves so the only thing it lacked was a stronger Normal STAB. Boomburst would be overkill though. As for abilities, Drizzle works as a kind of Water-type Steelworker for Castform and lets it help teammates, Regenerator gives it recovery and possible Defogger capabilities and No Guard is meant for hyper-offense, making it a more bulky MegaPidgeot with better coverage.
Sample moveset:
Castform @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

Justification/Niche: Hell yeah, our least favourite balloon is back, and now offensibly oriented. As almost every winning mon of this mod, it has access to 3 good abilities that makes its niche even more obvious: a sweeper. No Guard lets the ballooon to have 100% accurate Hurricanes and Focus Blasts, Unburden lets it to make us to want to see it banned as Hawlucha and Flare Boost lets it to wallbreak even without a NP boost.

Fearow
Flying/Normal
Old BST: 65/90/65/61/61/100 (442)
New BST: 80/120/80/61/71/130 (542)
Abilities: Tough Claws/Intimidate Sniper (Hidden)
New Moves: Sword Dance
Niche: Swift and strong, compared to other fast birds, Fearow still lacks Brave Bird, hurting its damage potential a bit. Tough Claws brings Drill Peck's power on par with unboosted return Combine with some coverage from Drill Run or Throat Chop and you've got a strong attacker.

Chatot
Flying/Ghost
Old BST: 76/65/45/92/42/91
New BST: 86/65/60/122/52/131
Abilities: Soundproof
New Moves: Sparkling Aria, Air Slash, Shadowball
Niche: A fast NPer with shit for defenses and abilities. Most of its best moves are blocked by soundproof. It also lacks good flying STAB and must rely on Air Slash unless Chatter isn't deemed broken any more.

Moonlight for Non-Roost healing, and Magic Guard prevents weaknesses and other statuses. can also play a role as a bulky Defogger too.

Just thought I'd bring it up, Noctowl here looks mighty similar to mine - not that you have to change anything, just that Noctowl was already done as Ghost/Flying from my submission.

looks good here too besides the immunity ability, i dont agree with it
