Uber RMT ~1

Well, I decided to try Ubers out, and after my team getting trashed, I knew I needed some MAJOR help. All advice is appreciated.


Lead:

Celebi@Leftovers

252 HP, 128 Defense, 128 Special Defense
-Stealth Rock
-Thunder Wave
-Recover
-Grass Knot

My lead, sets up stealth rocks which is helpful, paralyzes sweepers. If i manage to save it for later, it can help take hits from Groudon, assuming it is stuck on earthquake and or not carrying a fire move.

252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
-Focus Blast
-Ice beam
-Signal Beam
-Thunderbolt

This thing is, needless to say, very strong. The move set probably needs work, but he does pretty well.

Pokemon 3:

Scizor@Life Orb (Technician)
Adamant
176 HP,100 Attack, 50 Speed, 176 Special defense
-U turn
-Pursuit
-Bullet Punch
-Brick Break

Trapper Scizor, With so much weak to bug, it kills them with U turn, or forces the switch and I can then counter that. Bullet punch is to finish anything off. Pursuit to catch non weak to bugs switching.

Pokemon 4:

Groudon@Life Orb
Adamant
192 HP, 252 Attack, 56 Speed
-Rock Polish
-Earthquake
-Dragon Claw
-Fire Punch

After rock polish, he is pretty speedy. Hes my Physical sweeper and weather changer.

Pokemon 5:

Dialga@Life Orb
Mild
129 HP, 136 Attack, 252 Special Attack
-Brick Break
-Draco Meteor
-Fire Blast
-Thunder

Mixed Sweeper. Resist Bug attacks, which helps out my bug weakness

im sorry this is a pretty bad team overall

first of all, lead Celebi sucks. Itll get crushed by Darkrai leads, and isnt really the fastest user of Stealth Rock. the reason why Groudon and Dialga are used is because they at least have some sort of defensive capacity, 140 def and steel/dragon typing
Celebi has like 90 weaknesses

Pokemon 2: Mewtwo, Specs Mewtwo is outclassed in everyway by Specs Kyogre, except that its faster. It has no Stab, and by Choicing it your taking away its greatest asset, Versatility. Consider giving it Life Orb, which doesnt offer the sheer power of Choice Specs, but its a good item nonetheless, or even Expert Belt

also, the moveset is really bad, theres no reason you should use Focus Blast on Mewtwo when it has Aura Sphere, unless Focus Blast OHKOs Dialga? Darkrai wont be living Aura Sphere of any sort
Signal Beam is bad too, Shadow Ball is almost always better
also, Thunderbolt is never used in Ubers because Kyogre brings the rain on, and in case theres Sun or Sandstorm, you wouldnt be using Thunderbolt against Groudon or Tyranitar anyway

Scizor is fine, just lose the speed EVs and put them in HP or Special Defense, it wont be outspeeding anything

Groudon needs to be a bit faster, it sounds silly with Rock Polish but you need at least 258 speed to outrun Deoxys E after a rock polish

As for your mix Dialga, its pretty bad as well, its slower than Quagsire(not really but in Ubers it might as well be) and Mix Mewtwo Life Orb is already good, so consider going some other direction, like a scarfer

lastly Skymin S is pretty much useless as a Special Sweeper in Ubers, it may be faster than Darkrai but 120 SpAtk just doesnt hit hard enough, and with Mewtwo, Deoxys, and scarfers running around it wont live long either. If you must use Skymin, consider using the Subseeding set to really utilize its Speed, because its Spatk is really quite average in ubers

luvdisc if you want to go the SR lead route I suggest you use Deoxys-A, Groudon, or Dialga. Deoxys-A you know is your regular Sash SR Leader, set up rocks, attack, die. As states before by flyingsolo07 Groudon and Dialga have durability to set it up.
