Ferrothorn @ Leftovers

Careful Nature

Sp. Def Ferrothorn is a full on counter to Choice Scarf Kyogre and also deals pretty well with the other sets. Leech Seed keeps it healthy alongside Leftovers for multiple switch-ins and weakens Water Spout, Kyogre's most powerful move both against Ferrothorn and in general. Also key to it, Spikes not only is a great move to use regardless of the opponent choice of switch-in, it also chips down Kyogre so it can never just switch out for free like some other answers. If you want to speed stuff up or Ferrothorn got really weakened, Power Whip also is an option that deal very good damage to it, although not necessarily the main move to click when you Kyogre in front of you.

Rillaboom is a Check to Kyogre Choice scarf. Thanks to the priority of Grassy Glide, Rillaboom can outspeed and KO kyogre without problem but he needs a free switch to check it,

More Kyogre now carry Toxic, which makes Shedinja (the other best counter to Scarf Kyogre) a bit less viable. Alas, like this post and wish me luck on my upcoming exam my friends!
