Shamefully copying Steelphoenix's "efficent Shuca Dialga", as it is pretty good, imo. I put Lefties > Shuca to switch repeatedly into Genesect just for the sake of this game, but Shuca Berry should be used on this set otherwise. It has an easy time against most Genesects, espcially the scarf variant, as it pretty much needs a favourable Download boost in order to actually deal descent damage.

So yeah, "possible 5HKO" if Genesect gets the SpA boost and spams Ice Beam, but this just gives Dialga so many turns to either set up rocks in its face and then 2HKO it with Metal Burst, or something. Lives +2 Groundceus Earthquake after Stealth Rock with 232 HP and Shuca Berry (+2 252 Atk Earth Plate Arceus-Ground Earthquake vs. 232 HP / 0 Def Shuca Berry Dialga: 316-373 (79.1 - 93.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock). You can then Roar it out safely for something to deal w/ it later, or Metal Burst it for the clean KO. Hell, you can even set SR on it turn 1 if you wanna. This spread also lives 2 Modest Primal Kyogre Origin Pulses after Stealth Rock (252+ SpA Primal Kyogre Origin Pulse vs. 248 HP / 180 SpD Dialga in Heavy Rain: 159-187 (39.4 - 46.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock). SAtk does nothing notable I think (someone else can run calcs for this if they really wanna) but it does power up Dialga's attacks to a nice level. A few excess EVs were put in speed to be faster than Primal Groudon or something

Ghostceus as a Counter

Ghostceus is only 3HKOed by Scarf Genesect after SR and three layers of Spikes (or after SR only if Genesect gained an Atk boost from Download beforehand) and can easily Recover off the damage and setup CMs in its face. Oh and it's also immune to Genesect's Explosion, which means Genesect will never be safe of using Explosion while Ghostceus is around. In return, Ghostceus can burn Genesect, 2HKO it without any CMs or OHKO it after two of them (or only one if SR are up).

Not exactly the standard Aegislash, but this set looks cool, imo. Easily handles just about every Xern in existence without fail. Can Toxic, Pursuit-Trap, and is immune to Poison himslef - some useful traits this 'mon has. Against the VotW Xern, he just kills it, brutally.

M-Scizor can tank just about any move from LO Xerneas and 2HKO it back with Bullet Punch. Furthermore, M-Scizor has access to reliable recovery in Roost to stay healthy thoughout its matchup. However, if Xerneas were to have Thunder for its third moveslot, there would be a 81.6% chance that M-Scizor would be 2HKOed by it (which becomes about 40% when we take into account Thunder's shaky accuracy) after SR, so it can't reliably switch on that move only. Other than that, M-Scizor has plenty of tools to choose from like Pursuit, Toxic and U-turn to help out its teammates.

Bronzong can tank any hit that LO Xerneas wants to dish out and threatens it with Gyroball. It can set up rocks or toxic the switch in and provides utility for the team. The only thing that isnt so great about it is that it lacks reliable recovery. But with Protect it can recover some HP between turns and is also able to toxic stall. All in all it is a good Xerneas counter that is durable and provides a lot/some utility for the team.

Mega Mawile, the banned-from-OU horror, proves to be extremely underwhelming in Ubers. However, it does have a few niches, one, apparently, being this. Mawile can somewhat reliably survive HP Ground + Moonblast / Close Combat from Xerneas after Stealth Rocks post-mega evolution, and has a reasonably high chance of surviving a Thunder + HP Ground combo, taking into account Thunder's annoyingly low accuracy. In return, Iron Head puts Xerneas completely out of commission. While this seems quite awesome, Mawile can barely achieve a 9HKO on defensive Primal Groudon with Sucker Punch, so that must be played around carefully. However, outside of just checking Life Orb Xerneas, this beast can launch quite powerful Play Roughs and Iron Heads after switching in on Lati@s, who, barring HP Fire, cannot do very much to it. Sucker Punch can also do surprisingly high damage to other common Ubers titans such as Ho-Oh and Primal Kyogre. It's not the most amazing of mons, but it'll do the job.

Fuk xerneas (Jirachi) @ Leftovers

Jirachi in ubers is made to counter xerneas. With enough EV's invested, a jirachi takes under 40% from an HP fire/ground and can thunder wave in return, rendering xerneas useless. If xern runs aromatherapy over HP the fate for xerneas isn't any better as the turn it aromatherapies Jirachi can simply do over half with iron head. With a 70% chance to flinch/para and the possibility of twaving again the next turn, xerneas stands no chance. Even with three layers of spikes, jirachi won't be 2HKO'd by hidden power from a modest Xerneas. If Jirachi finds itself getting a free turn (which happens 70% of the time after iron head), it can wish up or set up rocks.

EV's are made purely for Xerneas, though they can be altered to serve different purposes.
52 attack EV's give jirachi enough power to 2HKO Xerneas 90% of the time if it doesn't run a -Defense nature and 100% of the time if it does.
8 EV's are put into speed to win ties over other jirachi, bulky xerneas/yveltal, bulky palkia and bulky kangaskhan. The rest is invested specially defensive to avoid being 3HKO'd by hp fire with an aromatherapy turn in between.

With LO xern still hitting like a truck, jirachi can only switch in twice. Afterwards it gets 2hko'd by a predicted hp fire so be careful.

Counter: Only Specs Focus Blast has a shot to 2HKO, and you need SR up + hit both times to do it. It tanks everything else fearlessly, recovers off damage, Toxics, twiddles its thumbs until Kyurem-W goes away in shame, etc.

You don't have to use this exact set either, all you need is Toxic and some way to heal (Wish/Softboiled).

I will say I kind of like LO Kyurem better than Specs. It makes it considerably harder to dance around with Steel-types (Fusion Flare gg) and fat Waters (Ice Beam + SR + Draco Meteor = dead Primal Kyogre). Timid is also a bit more viable on LO Kyurem-W since it eliminates 56 Speed Arceus-Water as a check (you now outrun and 2HKO with DM).

That being said, Kyurem-W's problem has always been how prone it is to getting revenge killed, not necessarily finding a safe switch-in (of which it has very few). Getting that free turn with its cruddy defensive properties can be tough.
 
I'd like to try and take a page off of Ho-Oh's checks list and say that Stealth Rock can also be useful in bringing down this thing. I mean, with subpar defenses, LO recoil (Specs is plain risky rn imo with all the POgre and Xern running around. Besides, SE hits burd right?) and some other residual damage, wearing down Kyu-W would be quite easy.

I'm not saying that Pokemon checks are hard af to find to check Kyu-W, but from what I've seen, it's raw power (Specs IBeam 2HKOs spdef Xern) and coverage is what makes it hard to switch into. With our options like Ho-Oh, MScizor, Jirachi and etc. being the optimum solutions, Kyu-W's power + coverage combo makes it able to nail said checks, narrowing down our lost of possible checks.

tl;dr SR wears big icy dragon so it dies on its own yay

Also, I wanted to take Ho-Oh but assuming Pom's gonna pick it, I'd leave it to him. ta!
 
Kyurem-W doesn't have a real counter since it can overpower the entire tier with the appropriate move. It doesn't help that it's commonly paired with P.Don and Mega Gengar, who can comfortably remove everything that would otherwise give it trouble. For example Blissey is Mega Gengar bait unless she runs Shed Shell, but if she does then Focus Blast is a clean 2HKO after rocks. Xerneas, Primal Ogre and Ho-oh are handled by P.Don without much trouble.

The best way to handle Kyurem-W s by revenge killing it. Scarf Xerneas does decently with this set:

Obviously you should aim to switch this into predicted Draco Meteors or after Kyu-W has killed something, but in an emergency it has enough to bulk to barely take an Ice Beam after rocks. With this set Xerneas can outspeed the icy dragon and KO it with Moonblast, though it must be wary of P. Don and especially Mega Gengar as mentioned earlier. Still, this Xerneas is probably the best way to handle Kyu-W in the entire tier, especially if you manage to get rocks down.
