Explanation: Mega Mawile + Ash Gren form a solid offensive core breaking down each others checks namely toxapex for ash ninja and spikes for mawile to stallbreak. From There Celesteela + Gastrodon form the defensive backdone of the team with celesteela being a decent catch all and fairy check while gastrodon deals with the common Koko + Gren core. Clef is wish and rocks support. The former impoving the longevity of mega mawile massivly while tornadus rounds out the team as a pivot and 1 off nuke with flynium that also checks kartana.

Anyway Thats the team. Goodluck this week everybody. Sorry about the late post but life is life sometimes. Have fun

Grass Knot Koko.

Tapu Koko @ Choice Specs
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Dazzling Gleam
- Grass Knot
Pretty simple here. Have Koko come in on Tornadus or Mawile, then predict the Gastrodon switch and OHKO the slug with Grass Knot. From there, proceed to decimate everything with Volt Switch / Thunderbolt.

I'm back.
Bloom Doom Heatran + AV Tapu Bulu

Heatran @ Grassium Z
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock / Toxic / Will-O-Wisp

Tapu Bulu @ Assault Vest
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 248 HP / 44 Atk / 36 Def / 112 SpD / 68 Spe
Impish Nature
- Horn Leech
- Wood Hammer
- Superpower
- Nature's Madness

Bloom Doom Tran is able to deal with every member on the team bar Ash-Gren, and you shouldn't try to nuke Gren on the switch so you can deal with the Gastro when it tries to wall you. The last slot on Heatran is up to you, SR is nice because you beat the defogger, Toxic means you can still beat Gastro if you Bloom Doom Gren on the switch, and Will-O lets you always beat M-Mawile. AV Bulu is a good parter because it's able to switch into Gren repeatedly and although it dosen't really matter here, it is able to provide a stronger Bloom Doom with the Grassy Terrain up.
The Attack investment lets it 2HKO Clef with Wood Hammer from full, 36 Defense Impish lets it eat two Specs Psyshocks from Lele, and the speed is for 176 speed investment Band Tar.

Reserving Sub DD Zygarde + Tspikes Pex

Zygarde @ Leftovers
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 188 HP / 140 Atk / 180 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Dragon Dance
- Thousand Arrows
- Protect / Iron tail

Toxapex @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Haze
- Recover
- Toxic Spikes

Nearly every mon on that team besides torn is either setup fodder for Zygarde, or can simply be stalled into Thousand Arrows range under tspikes, and torn has to worry about a well timed Protect wasting its Z move. It can't even lost its leftovers behind a substitute. gren pressures it away from setting up, but is cleanly OHKOed after minimal chip damage after just 1 dragon dance, and of course is walled and prevented from transforming by pex. Zygarde's sub is cleanly 2hko'd by gastrodon's scald, making it setup fodder. Mawile also hates the mind games invoved with substitute blocking sucker punch.

Clef is by far the most troublesome member of the team for zygarde, but is by no means insurmountable. If you run iron tail, it flat out 2HKOs at +1, while protect can still be used to force the mind games needed to set up several additional dragon dances behind a substitute, allowing you to eventually muscle through it with enough prediction. Enjoy the 6-0 that comes with doing that successfully with enough health to tank un-ash'd gren's rather laughable water shuriken or sub up against mawile's sucker punch.

252 SpA Tornadus-Therian Supersonic Skystrike (185 BP) vs. 188 HP / 0 SpD Zygarde: 280-331 (69.3 - 81.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 140+ Atk Zygarde Thousand Arrows vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Tornadus-Therian: 220-261 (73.5 - 87.2%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja Water Shuriken (15 BP) (3 hits) vs. 188 HP / 0 SpD Zygarde: 99-120 (24.5 - 29.7%) -- approx. 0% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja Hydro Pump vs. 188 HP / 0 SpD Zygarde: 238-282 (58.9 - 69.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 140+ Atk Zygarde Thousand Arrows vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Greninja: 255-300 (89.4 - 105.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

+1 140+ Atk Zygarde Iron Tail vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 238-282 (60.4 - 71.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+2 140+ Atk Zygarde Thousand Arrows vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 214-253 (54.3 - 64.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Clefable Moonblast vs. 188 HP / 0 SpD Zygarde: 204-242 (50.4 - 59.9%) -- 82.8% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Huge Power Mawile-Mega Sucker Punch vs. 188 HP / 0 Def Zygarde: 123-145 (30.4 - 35.8%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Reserving Magnezone & Mega-Pinsir

Magnezone @ Electrium Z
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Pinsir-Mega @ Pinsirite
Ability: Hyper Cutter
Happiness: 0
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Frustration
- Quick Attack
- Earthquake

Magnezone traps and kills Celesteela, then Mega-Pinser kills everything. It sets up on Clefable or Gastrodon on forced switches. Pinser set is standard, Magnezone set can be anything but my favourite is Sub-Z

CM Clefable (With Fire Blast) + Magnezone

CM Clefable Manages to set up on most mons on this team and does not fear the mawile due to the lack of iron head and the fact that it can kill it at + 1 with a blast (+1 0 SpA Clefable Fire Blast vs. 40 HP / 0 SpD Mawile-Mega: 238-280 (94.8 - 111.5%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO )

CM clef lures the SD mawile into a free KO
It also outright beats the gren after a CM
252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja Hydro Pump vs. +1 252 HP / 4 SpD Clefable: 166-196 (42.1 - 49.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Gastro cannot toxic or deal enough damage
Clefable cannot beat it and only serves as set up fodder
The tornadus cannot get a KO at + 1
252 SpA Tornadus-Therian Supersonic Skystrike (185 BP) vs. +1 252 HP / 4 SpD Clefable: 195-231 (49.4 - 58.6%) -- 69.5% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

However, It needs a Magnezone to trap and kill the celesteela otherwise Clef will not be able to sweep. (the set does not matter for the mag)

So as long as it manages to get at least 1 CM up, it's game.

Keldeo @ Waterium Z
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Calm Mind
- Taunt

basically keldeo has 0 switch ins to a +1 hydro pump or secret sword, and the only that can really revenge kill it is torn which can't come in on a hydro. taunt lets you set up on celesteela and gastrodon reliably, and waterium z breaks clefable when boosted. with rocks up this thing actually gets a kill every time it comes in

Zygarde @

Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 240 Atk / 88 SpD / 180 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Thousand Arrows
- Iron Tail
- Extreme Speed

While Clef is a solid answer to the majority of Zygarde sets, it loses to this one. It baits Clef into clicking Moonblast from which you get the +2 Atk, and consequently falls over to a +3 Iron Tail. From there, Zygarde is at around 40%, and you have a couple ways of dealing with it, none of which are great. You can go Celesteela, Leech + Protect and then sack something which puts it in range of Mawile's Sucker Punch, you can go Gren and hope they don't get the roll on +3 Extreme Speed (it's incredibly in their favour) - this line doesn't work ever if they DD'd twice before Clef Moonblasted bc +4 Extreme Speed knocks Gren out of the park, or you can hope to god that Clef highrolled with Moonblast or they took some prior chip to put it into range of Mawile's Sucker Punch without sacking Celesteela (I should also mention how there's some mindgames with Extreme Speed vs Sucker Punch - Sucker Punch fails if they use Extreme Speed, but it's in your favour at least). This set is so nasty in the current meta, it's so annoying for this team that I've considered running Knock Off over Wish on Clefable just to ease the mu, which says a lot about how good Zygarde is when Wish is absolutely phenomenal to keep Celesteela and Mawile healthy.

Heatran @ Leftovers / Firium Z
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Taunt
- Will-O-Wisp

Gastrodon-East @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Toxic
- Earthquake

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Stealth Rock
- Wish

Surprised how this hasn't been submitted yet, this core can wall Mega Mawile pretty comfortably, as well as the defensive core. Heatran can check most Pokemon thanks to its very powerful Fire-type STAB and natural bulk. This set is pretty self-explanatory, however, I decided to use Will-O-Wisp over Toxic as this makes it a good check to Mega Mawile. Firium Z is optional to switch into Knock Off from Mega Mawile more comfortably, however I'd only recommend it with Wish Clefable. Gastrodon-East (only viable Gastrodon) can wall Ash-Greninja, which Heatran struggles against. This core could probably guarantee a win vs the team if it's paired with Clefable too (which fits perfectly fine on the type of teams this core is used on).

Volcarona @ Buginium Z
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Fire Blast
- Bug Buzz
- Psychic

Volcarona can set up in front of anything that is not Tornadus and Greninja from this team. At +1, Volcarona outspeeds and obliterates the team.

Definitely wouldn't say that it can set up infront of Gastrodon or Mawile because of toxic and this things shitty defenses. Buginium Z isnt a guaranteed delete on Gastrodon either as it can easily be switched around between Clefable and Celesteela. I won't deny that it has a decent match up, but i rly think that saying it "obliterates" this team is too much.

My nominations are

Magnezone + Pinser - Pinser after a swords dance practically annihalates this team if you dont have mawile at full health with Intimidate available and a clean switch to boot which lets face it by the time pinser swords dance wont be a realistic scenerio. Magnezone deals with the only possible stop and while water shuriken exists doesn't pack enough power to stop pinser. Really big team flaw.

Heatran + Gastrodon - Not as destructive as pinser but played right you'll have the entire team walled and statused within a short time frame. Pair it up with any clefable, Wish Jirachi or something like that and this mawile team without a clever double switch gets walled.

Others like Zygarde and Calm mind clef do ok vs the team but dont really have the same breaking capacity as these 2 nominations I feel.
