Project Ultra SM Break This Team - WK 48 SKEs tail glow manaphy Rain (Voting)

reserving LOKB + something that beats Zor Magnezone

+

Kyurem-Black @ Icium Z
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Freeze Shock
- Fusion Bolt

- Earth Power

Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Fire
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch

KB enjoys Heatran Lacking a Steel-type attack and 2HKOes it with Earth Power, as well as beating 2/3 of the team. Magnezone trapkills Scizor-Mega and beats Alomomola. Simple. You can also add a cleric like Clefable to heal KB from burns.

Trapper-Heatran + Ferrothorn

Trapper Heatran shits on stall, walling 5/6 of the members due to Alomomola lacking Scald. The only thing that can actually beat it is Gliscor, who dies to Inferno Overdrive if you catch it on the switch, or if they overpredict. Ferrothorn helps put the nail on the coffin, walling Gliscor while being annoying with Spikes, Knock Off, and Leech Seed. Leech Seed also provides some recovery for Heatran.

Heatran @ Firium Z
Ability: Flash Fire

Who's a ready for some fun

It's a Buzzwole time

Buzzwole @ Leftovers
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 248 HP, 100 Atk, 48 Def, 112 Spe
Impish Nature
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Ice Punch
- Toxic / Roost

Thanks to its sky high Attack stat and Defense stat, this swole bug can make short work of this stall. Equipped with a Substitute and Focus Punch to devastate the entirerty of this stall. Ice Punch hits Gliscor for great damage, and Toxic is to hit Zapdos on the switch. Thanks to the noticeable lack of Heal Bell, Buzzwole can ensure that Zapdos, the only true counter on this team, is constantly damaged, which will play into Buzzwole's favor as it can switch in and out and wear it down. And afterwards, Buzzwole can take the entirety of the team. You could opt for Roost over Toxic for more longevity, but seeing as only Zapdos and Heatran can even break Sub, it's honestly not worth it.

100 Atk Buzzwole Focus Punch vs. 244 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 612-722 (87.1 - 102.8%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
100 Atk Buzzwole Focus Punch vs. 248 HP / 248+ Def Scizor-Mega: 132-156 (38.4 - 45.4%) -- 9% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
100 Atk Buzzwole Ice Punch vs. 244 HP / 0 Def Gliscor: 256-304 (72.7 - 86.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Poison Heal
100 Atk Buzzwole Focus Punch vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 440-522 (114.2 - 135.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO * For Heatran, make sure you have a Substitute up
100 Atk Buzzwole Focus Punch vs. 40 HP / 216+ Def Alomomola: 199-235 (41.3 - 48.8%) -- 16.4% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

Zygarde @ Leftovers
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 248 HP / 148 SpD / 112 Spe
Careful Nature
- Substitute
- Thousand Arrows
- Coil
- Toxic

Zygarde laughs off most attacks from the Pokemon in this team and can set up a Substitute to dodge status. In fact, the only Pokemon that stands in the way of a Zygarde sweep is Gliscor who can Toxic it before it gets a Sub up. However, if a Sub is already up, even Gliscor struggles to break Zygarde's Substitute (needs max rolls even before Zygarde sets up a Coil).

EDIT: Misread Hidden Power Ice as Hidden Power Fire. Anyway, pair this Zygarde with something that eliminates Scizor (such as Magnezone or HP Fire Scizor as a lure) and you're set.

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Psyshock
- Moonblast
- Focus Blast

Tapu Lele is the single biggest threat to this team, with literally any set besides Choice Scarf being able to put in significant work vs this team. CM Psychium Lele in particular busts a hole through this team, blowing past basically everything with its absurd firepower in conjunction with Psychic Terrain and solid coverage. Psychium Z means that you only need a coverage move for one of the team's steels because you can just nuke the other one with your Z-move.
+1 252 SpA Tapu Lele Moonblast vs. 40 HP / 252 SpD Alomomola: 291-343 (60.4 - 71.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252 SpA Tapu Lele Psyshock vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey in Psychic Terrain: 390-460 (55.4 - 65.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 252 SpA Tapu Lele Psyshock vs. 244 HP / 0 Def Gliscor in Psychic Terrain: 244-288 (69.3 - 81.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Poison Heal
+1 252 SpA Tapu Lele Shattered Psyche (160 BP) vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Scizor-Mega in Psychic Terrain: 294-346 (85.7 - 100.8%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO
+1 252 SpA Tapu Lele Psyshock vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Zapdos in Psychic Terrain: 337-397 (87.9 - 103.6%) -- 25% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery

Medicham-Mega @ Medichamite
Ability: Pure Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Zen Headbutt

Medicham-Mega just kill a Pokemon each time it arrives on the battlefield, what is super commun as Medicham teams often run volturn, thing that Stalls are commonly pretty weak to. I don't think that needs deeper explanations.

Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Focus Blast / Shadow Ball
- Recover

I really believe this set has become quiet trendy nowadays and since the team lack Hazer/Unawer/Phazer, the only answer to set up are statues, from which Reuniclus is prevented thanks to magic Guard.
More, since the team don't run any super effective moves on him, it can't be 2hko if a crit happend like some other Calm minder of the meta.
To conclude, I feel like against this team you can litteraly lead Reuniculus and start clicking cm/recover until you're at +6 and then end it in 6 turns.

I could just nominate a Blacephalon Subs + CM but that was to easy. Instead, let's talk about the craziest unset of the OU tier:

The Blocking God

Zygarde @ Normalium Z
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 176 HP / 252 Def / 80 SpD
Impish Nature
- Block
- Thousand Arrows
- Rest
- Dragon Dance

It can trap and setup in almost any mon on this stall, except M Zor for obvious reasons. For the standart stall with M Sableye, is also a auto-win if they lack a Unaware Clefable and Quagsire don't have Curse.
Trap, setup to +6, and easily win. Hey, I have a replay of this working vs this exact stall:

Reserving Mega Gyarados + 'Zone

Gyarados-mega @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall / Crunch
- Taunt / Substitute
- Stone edge

Almost every member of that team is setup fodder for this beast, save Scizor and Heatran. Gliscor is straight-up walled after a taunt before going mega, as is the no scald Alo while Zapdos just gets nuked by the almost certainly unexpected +1 Stone Edge. And we all know how vulnerable Chansey is to physical sweepers like Gyarados. Heatran, meanwhile, has that annoying lava plume to burn it through a taunt, so you won't want to set up in front of it, but it gets annihilated when you are setup.

Magnezone @ Electrium Z
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power Fire

Gyarados might be able to 1v1 that u-turn free scizor, but it will obviously have to tank an insane amount of bullet punches in the process, leaving it too weakened to check the rest of the team. I figured Sub-Z zone would be better than the scarf set here as it can annoy the rest of the team much more if its behind a substitute, which takes like 3 bullet punches to break. It can also nuke something else on the team for Gyarados, like Alo or a weakened Heatran.

As with any sand rush excadrill team, sand support was required. i went with CB Tyranitar as opposed to Hippowdon thanks to its ability to more readily check broken Heatran (especially firium-z sets), trap or eliminate Zapdos, a rising threat that acts as a roadblock for Excadrill, and to generally open holes during the early-to-mid game for Excadrill.

Looking at this core, it was blindingly obvious that a solid Kartana+Water spam check was required; enter AV Amoonguss, which is one of the most liberating changes to happen to the team thanks to the decline of Zard-Y (which meant no Pex was needed). people also have a tendency to double from opposing Koko into an offensive Water anticipating your Excadrill to come in, so you can use this to your advantage with a well-timed prediction and grab momentum with Amoonguss. from here on out, the rest of the team was just rectifying issues i found with the SM iteration of the team, such as, but not limited to: an over-dependancy on Spikes Gren+Tyranitar for breaking common balance cores, as matchups such as that had to be played perfectly and were often drawn-out ordeals.

Firium-Z Heatran was added to mitigate issue with Toxapex cores and act as a general balance breaker+secondary steel. Firium-Z is cool because ladder goons never, ever Earthquake Heatran with Lando-t when you have your own Lando-T, so you can nuke them and get them out of the way for excadrill asap. Furthermore, if you know it's defensive Lando, just click that shit and send it packing. This is also the team's only real way to properly apply pressure to Mega Sableye, so try to get as much value out of it as you can vs fatter teams. Baiting in Gliscor to aid Excadrill is also important.

Threw on a defensive lando-t as the team's ground resist, which is obviously mandatory with Heatran+Tyranitar+Excadrill, and general physical sponge. Went with Toxic to stop the team completely folding to broken Hawlucha, as with that+sand residual you can limit the damage it can do. You can also nab Zapdos, M-Latios, and Tangrowth with Toxic, aiding Excadrill even further.

Last up, I needed some sort of speed control outside of Excadrill in sand, as the team was abysmally slow. Scarf Protean Greninja is a great fit for a multitude of reasons, such as: it revenge kills Volcarona without forcing you to basically sack Tyranitar, it synergises amazingly with Magma Storm Heatran thanks to the pokemon it tends to U-turn on, and it also provides Spikes, which is amazing on a team with Rapid Spin in USUM.
