Voting for zard X and gyara, since every options works but I got a liking for those to mons recently

All in all good week for nominations and no particular one stood out as all had a realisitic chance of breaking this team in Practice. My personal favourite was Zard X but the winner is Gyarados by DKM congrats on making the hall of fame for the first time. I apologise for the extended voting week, In real life family issue's and work have kept me busy and what little freetime I've had otherwise got taken up by Nihongo lessons

Vote Tally

This week we have a bulky offence built around megabro which given the state of the game is a very underrated choice. Crafted by sd bulu the team is a wonderful choice given the State of the meta

Explanation:
The team is a bulky offence based around Slowbro and built with taking out the top tier meta threats in mind. Its an interesting option right now considering that you beat Landorus, Zygarde and Latios amongst many, thanks to its interesting ability in regenerator prior to mega evolution and its astounding bulk post mega evolution. Tapu Bulu then checks everything that bro's weak to, including and not limited to greninja, koko and alakazam. Torn exists to defog and to check kart and improves the stall matchup, especially if slowbro hasn't mega evolved since you just infinitely switch and regain hp while the opponent just gets whittled. Steelium tran for rocks, Traping Clefable and a balance breaker, Kart to abuse grassy terrain and to break past stall and Lando for speed control and removing Reuni / Lati with punishment

Thats the team. I wish you all good-luck this week breaking the team. Happy nominations

Blacephalon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Flamethrower
- Fire Blast
- Trick

The team doesn't have a ghost resist so Blacephalon can click Shadow Ball without risking much since it outspeeds everything. Tapu Bulu does eat Shadow Ball, but it doesn't eat Flamethrower or Fire Blast. It also hates Trick, or Explosion if Blacephalon uses that in its 4th slot.
252 SpA Blacephalon Shadow Ball vs. 8 HP / 24 SpD Heatran: 136-162 (41.8 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO (87.5% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock)
252 SpA Blacephalon Shadow Ball vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Kartana: 348-411 (134.3 - 158.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Blacephalon Shadow Ball vs. 80 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-Therian: 177-208 (52.2 - 61.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Blacephalon Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 40 SpD Slowbro-Mega: 336-396 (85.2 - 100.5%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO (81.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock)
252 SpA Blacephalon Shadow Ball vs. 248 HP / 52 SpD Assault Vest Tapu Bulu: 97-115 (28.2 - 33.5%) -- 95.2% chance to 4HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery
252 SpA Blacephalon Flamethrower vs. 248 HP / 52 SpD Assault Vest Tapu Bulu: 218-258 (63.5 - 75.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery
252 SpA Blacephalon Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 52 SpD Assault Vest Tapu Bulu: 266-314 (77.5 - 91.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery (25% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock)
252 SpA Blacephalon Shadow Ball vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Tornadus-Therian: 160-189 (44.3 - 52.3%) -- 17.2% chance to 2HKO (guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock)
As you can see from the calcs, Blace needs rocks up to collect its KOs, so a rocker that can go toe-to-toe with Torn-T (not Clef since the team has Steelium Zeatran for that) is desirable. A Heatran of your own will do the trick, and if it's Timid it can outspeed & threaten this team's Modest Tran.

gunk/ beam gren

ice beam gren has gotten more popular during olt and gunk shot is a fine set too. the team lacks a mon faster than gren and greninja has ample switchins against mons like mega bro. while mons like volc are also threatening the team has two dodge oppurtunites at minimum, even if volc gets to set up.

cb infernape (Zapdos) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 240 Def / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
- Discharge
- Roost
- Heat Wave
- Defog

zapdos does really well vs this team. it can come in on torn, bulu, lando, and kart (without sr), and threaten everything with discharge and heat wave. the only switchin is heatran, which gets worn down quickly because it's an offensive variant and can suffer paralysis.

0 SpA Zapdos Discharge vs. 8 HP / 24 SpD Heatran: 97-115 (29.8 - 35.3%) -- 24.4% chance to 3HKO

Heracross can (2H)KO every member of this team after a Swords Dance. It abuses both Scarf Lando and SD Bulu as setup fodder.

Weavile @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Knock Off
- Ice Shard
- Low Kick

Low Kick Weavile gives up the ability to trap for the ability to lure Heatran, which in turn makes it a serious threat to this team; Tran, Torn, Bulu and Lando are all outsped and OHKO'd with the appropriate move. Kartana and MegaBro do better as they're only 2/3HKO'd, but they sure as hell can't switch in, and VoltTurn support is really all that's needed to chip them into range.

Heatran @ Grassium Z
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Solar Beam
- Stealth Rock

Bloom Doom Heatran pressures this team heavily as it is very difficult to switch into and beats many of the opponents outright.

Torn-T: Can't switch in to Magma Storm. Tran walls it and can get rocks up safely.
Slowbro: Bloom Doom crushes it. Tran is faster.
Tapu Bulu: Can't switch into Magma Storm. Grassy Terrain buffs Bloom Doom, lol. Tran is faster.
Heatran: Can't switch into Earth Power. Tran is faster.
Kartana: Can't switch into any attack well. Tran abuses Kartana if it's locked into Leaf Blade or Smart Strike.
Lando: Can't switch into Magma Storm or Bloom Doom well. Tran abuses Lando if it's locked into HP Ice or Punishment.

If it gets in safely, it will probably grab a KO. If Kart and Lando go down, Tran literally just wins.

Hoopa-Unbound @ Choice Band
Ability: Magician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Hyperspace Fury

so a lot of the mons are faster but nothing switches into this and if you predict correctly you can bop bulu. If this hoopa is paired with something like zapdos, which Gurpreet Patel (Sent you a Friend Request) mentioned it can punish uturns from lando and slow down kart and torn t if static over pressure, but this is just a bonus. Hoopa on its own can beat slowbro, tran, bulu, and torn t since it doesnt have uturn. As i previously said nothing can switch into this mon which is true for most teams and with little support such as volt turn forcing switches it can severely break this team.

So I got some inspiration from an XY stall team that I used. Alomomola and Zard X are actually a good duo, with Alomomola being so fat it can take lots of the usually physical ground and rock type attacks for Zard, while Zard X can switch into most electric and grass type attacks threatening alomomola.

Alomomola @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Toxic
- Wish
- Protect

Alomomola walls everything here except the 2 grass types (which it can still status on the switch). Toxic puts a timer on Slowbro, Torn-t and Lando while scald beats Heatran and Lando.

Charizard-Mega-X @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 172 HP / 84 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Roost
- Flare Blitz
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw / Will-O-Wisp

Zard X basically counters this Bulu set. It also hard switches into Kartana with the exception of Secret Sword, but Alomomola can either Protect to scout or Wishpass to Zard. Both DD and Roost+3 attacks work. I slashed WoW over Dragon Claw since it drastically improves the matchup against this team, but I guess it’s not exactly a set in USUM.

Zygarde @ Leftovers
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 236 HP / 160 SpD / 112 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Thousand Arrows
- Substitute
- Protect
- Toxic

Just harasses this teams usual answers.

Alakazam-Mega @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Recover

Mega Alakazam is a huge threat to this team and although it doesn't outright 6-0 it, it still poses a massive annoyance to it. Modest Zam is the most dangerous variant because it's still able to outspeed the whole team (bar Scarf Lando) but also deals significantly more damage. After some chips and hazards damage, M-Zam is able to 2HKO AV Bulu and easily takes advantage of M-Slowbro and Heatran once it used its Z-Move. The team's only way of revenge killing Zam is Scarf Lando which gets chipped by hazards and can't switch-in on M-Alakazam. Zam also has the ability to trace intimidate which means that it can actually take on Lando to an extent. Overall, if well surrounded with some mons like Torn-T to take on Bulu for example and some hazards, Mega Alakazam is able to pose a massive threat to this team. Basically, classic Mega Alakazam BOs that are being run atm are gonna cause a lot of trouble to this team.

Zapdos walls and decimates this team with minimal support.

Bloom Doom Heatran is hard for a slow team like this to switch into, provided it lures and removes slowbro.

Hello, I didn't even have an acc but rushed to register one after seeing a team of mine posted. I've built this one month ago, then showed it to user curiosity for feedback and he suggested me to change the bulu set, so shoutouts for that. Even tho the core is a common one, would have been nice to receive credits for this at least with the ps acc name.

Anyway, wanted to vote for volc given it's the main reason I don't use the team anymore, as it really shreds the team if it's hp ground. To be fair, many BO builds face the same problem though.
