messed around with a shit team and lost like 2 after i peaked, doesnt matter too much

Aight, I wanted to make an unorthodox team featuring Unburden Sceptile, as that shit is broken and won't fail to kill things, provided that you kill its walls.
I peaked at 1745 with this stall team and will strive towards top 100. Also, Im a pretty shit player (dont even calc lmao) and if I can reach high ladder with this, then I'm pretty sure anyone can. So without further ado, here is the team:

sacktile (Sceptile) @ Electric Seed
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 Atk / 128 Def / 128 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- Earthquake
- Acrobatics

Ya boi Sceptile, this kid is ou af and nukes things. What more can you ask? Leaf blade kills shit like ash gren and nukes everything non-resistant after a swords dance. Earthquake to smack those pesky Pexes, seriously, screw those things. Acrobatics to kill bulu, medicham, tangrowth etc after an SD. Lives vs pretty much everything under screens

snoop dog (Tapu Koko) @ Light Clay
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 248 HP / 44 SpD / 216 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Safeguard
- Taunt

Hard stall mon Kappa. Koko sets screens up most of the time, outspeeds almost everything. Taunt can be used after one screens move because they will always try to set up after finding out what garbage u are running, so click taunt after one screen and watch them flame. Safeguard to not get disassembled by toxic. Click light screen vs spattackers, reflect vs attackers, common sense

fish on meth (Gyarados) @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Ice Fang
- Waterfall
- Earthquake

Another stall mon xd. nukes. This goldfish on crack sets up against lando and most mons under screens, so get those dances off. Dont sack this thing unless its 100% ded. Waterfall for stab, ice fang reliably kills zygarde, chomp, lando and threatens grass types that normally screw u over like bulu. EQ for heatran and other annoying shit

xd (Volcarona) @ Buginium Z
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Fire Blast
- Bug Buzz
- Hidden Power [Ground]

Hardest stall mon on this team. click red button for nuke. click quiver and 6-0 kids, make sure u defog with ur flying dog before u send this out. Fireblast ohkoes all lando variants at +1 spa. hp ground to delete heatran and dent pex, bug buzz to nuke those latios' and other pesky psychic/dark types. buginium z because it nukes non-resistant tanky mons.

flying dog (Landorus-Therian) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 80 HP / 148 Atk / 84 Def / 196 Spe
Naive Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Defog

what team doesnt run this shit? standard scarf because u need reliable defog for volc, earthquake still nukes semi-weak mons. u-turn for pivot into offence mons. hp ice for those weakened chomps, landos, zygardes etc.

caterpie + crack (Zygarde) @ Iapapa Berry
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 160 HP / 216 Atk / 28 SpD / 104 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Thousand Arrows
- Extreme Speed
- Dragon Dance
- Coil

screens and zygarde? name a more iconic duo/trio (because double screens get it ha). this thing nukes things, set up a few dances/coils and ur rockin. click thousand arrows till ur mouse/trackpad breaks and tell the tech repair guy to fuck off if he asks u how u broke it.

And that's all for this broken stall team, all criticism/refinements are accepted. I went from 1.2k to 1.75k with this team, honestly stall is so broken.

Shout out to yo boi zCocytus for helping me make this team xd

This isn't Stall. This is Screens Bulky Offense. Stall is a playstyle based on using tremendously bulky, defensive Pokemon your opponent cannot break down easily and its win condition is not setup sweepers inasmuch as it is based on playing defensively, slowly chipping away the opponent.
Dual screens is a very viable playstyle; congratulations on pulling off this peak. Keep it up!

I'm your opponent in the last replay. If we ignored my irked reaction to Magearna failing to KO Sceptile, I must say you played well, and you definitely play this team well. :)

I'd like to note out something on Sceptile's EV Spread. Does it allow it to survive relevant would-be 2HKOs? I think it looks weird.
Change it to 44 HP / 252 Atk / 212 Spe; with 212 Speed you can outspeed +2 base 100s like Volcarona, Charizard-Mega-X and Salamence, rest into HP in order to maximize overall bulk, although you could invest them in Defense if physical bulk is more important. The 252 / 128 / 128 spread seems iffy to me.

Additionally, I think Landorus-Therian can run Jolly instead of Naive with no drawbacks as to Hidden Power Ice's power; it securely 2HKOes its primary targets, irregardless of the special attack drop. However:

252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja Water Shuriken (15 BP) (3 hits) vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Landorus-Therian: 252-306 (78.9 - 95.9%) -- approx. 31.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja Water Shuriken (15 BP) (3 hits) vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-Therian: 234-276 (73.3 - 86.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Before turning to Ash-Greninja, Greninja is likely not to use Water Shuriken, but in the event it does, thinking that with Stealth Rock it can aim at a higher chance to OHKO, Jolly does help a little bit. This may not be the most relevant of calculations but it's still there; the main point is that Naive doesn't provide relevant extra power, so why not enjoy the extra special defense you get by not dropping it?

Zygarde could run 4 more EVs in speed in order to outspeed opposing Double Dance Zygarde. This is not mandatory but you would surely prefer winning the speedties by a small margin and lose out a bit less than 1% damage on your attacks, would you not? In the same vein, you could always invest an extra 4 EVs in Speed in non-252 speed Pokemon so that you win the speedties, unless it may be beneficial to gamble, or even lose them (for example, I can see Landorus-Therian want to lose speedties if it leads against the same Landorus-Therian so you can play accordingly to your opponent's switch rather than have them play accordingly to yours).

Have fun :)

If you're looking to run Screens into Setup, a pivot move like U-turn or Volt Switch will help you a lot more than safeguard, especially with E-terrain blanking sleep.

If you're really worried about Toxic, replace one of Zygarde's setup moves with Substitute.
