Urshifu-R surges onto Fighting teams as a dangerous Swords Dance sweeper courtesy of a reasonable Speed tier, incredible power, and powerful signature move in Surging Strikes. With Surging Strikes, it is easily able to overwhelm Ground- and Fire-types like Great Tusk, Gliscor, and Ceruledge and can break through IronPress Skarmory. Ice Spinner allows Urshifu-R to break through would-be checks like Water Absorb Clodsire as well as Sinistcha and Dragonite. Alternatively, Close Combat allows Urshifu-R to beat Archaludon. Finally, Aqua Jet can pick off faster threats such as Flutter Mane and Iron Moth, preventing them from KOing Urshifu-R. Protective Pads stops contact effects like Zapdos's Static while still bypassing Gliscor's Protect, unlike Punching Gloves. If looking to support Urshifu-R, Iron Valiant is able to deal with physical walls like Sableye and Pelipper that hamper Urshifu-R. Iron Hands can also provide support by dealing with faster Flying-types like Torandus-T and Enamorus while also providing pivoting with its slow Volt Switch.

- Put Protective Pads with Surging Strikes sentence since this allows you to 1v1 skarmory comfortably (since no helm chip hehe) and put Gliscor with Great Tusk and Iron Moth (subtoxic is pretty annoying).

- it also just deletes dragonite at +2 haha which is funny af >:)

- Realistically cc is just for deleting arch, we dont really care about hamurott, its set up fodder to us.

- remove moltres from iron valiant sentence, we have p pads + moltres doesnt want to swap in / take a surging strikes ever. Can put pelipper since hurricane just blast us away.

- this last part just looks weird in the sentence as it looks like iron hands is removing ground types for iron hands. IDK if your were trying to clump it all in but you can just remove the bold part and put while also providing slow pivoting via Volt Switch. I personally would remove toxapex (up to you), we 3hko it and it can just toxic + recover spam which is just hell overall, can just put in enamorus.

Finally, (AC) Aqua Jet can pick of off faster threats such as Flutter Mane and Iron Moth, (AC) preventing them from removing KOing Urshifu-R. Can you highlight here why PPads is used aside from the contact thing, specifically preventing toxic gliscor from gaining a turn/turns protecting? Thank you.

A probable example could be Toxicing Urshifu-R on the switch, Protecting, swapping to Skarmory, swapping back to Gliscor (Since Shifu likely SDs as its unable to break), then Protecting again, racking up too much damage in the process. This same interaction happens in niche Sandless if its Close Combat and they have Gastrodon.
