[SET COMMENTS]
Urshifu-S is one of the strongest wallbreakers in the STABmons metagame, boasting high Attack and decent Speed stats, along with strong STAB attacks that offer near perfect coverage. Choice Band is the desired item for this set to maximize Urshifu's wallbreaking capabilities. Wicked Blow and Close Combat are Urshifu's STAB attacks, and allow it to threaten nearly all of the metagame. Poison Jab is the coverage option of choice, which allows it to hit bulky Fairy-type Pokemon such as Sylveon, Azumarill, and Clefable super-effectively, but Iron Head is an alternative option to cover Weezing-Galar better. U-turn is a great option that allows Urshifu-S to pivot out on some of its checks like Sylveon, Hippowdon, and Toxapex and go into a check for these Pokemon like Aegislash or Rotom-Heat. Max Speed and Attack with a Jolly Nature is used on this set to ensure that Urshifu-S outspeeds offensive threats like Obstagoon and Excadrill, while still maintaining its wallbreaking capabilities.

Urshifu-S is strongest when it's able to come in on defensive Pokemon easily, so slow pivoting Pokemon such as Toxapex, Rotom-Heat, Blissey or Slowking make amazing partners for it. Some of the Pokemon Urshifu-S struggles most to break are bulky Fairy-type Pokemon such as Sylveon and Weezing-Galar, so Steel-type Pokemon that can pressure these threats like Aegislash, Excadrill or Corviknight can help patch up that weakness. Offensive partners for Urshifu include Pokemon like Alakazam or Zeraora, both of which excel at beating Urshifu's offensive and defensive checks, while recieving great support from Urshifu as well. Pokemon like Ferrothorn and Toxapex also make good partners for Urshifu-S, as they generally can safely switch into its checks if it is locked into a move already.
