Anyone have an estimate on the number of people probably going to show up? I know that it is one of the smallest events (yay, its easier) and I don't see that many people on smogon saying they will show up. I am trying to get my friends from school to show up who don't know much about ev/iv training but love pokemon. Also this will make getting further easier if I have to battle them lol. I know thats kinda mean but whatever. Anyway back to initial question, any estimates?

Well last year there was about 300-350. (something like 323) I expect more this year.

Keep in mind Seattle nearly doubled in attendance compared to last year. It went from ~220 to 439. Dallas had ~275 Seniors last year. It may go up to as much as 550 or more. That's still a fair bit short of the 768 attendance cap, though.

Youre a stalker... Anyway I'm totally excited. From what I read on the other posts, its best to get there later to avoid battling the good players who get there early. Idk, any thoughts?

Good to see that there will actually be people at this event. Responding to Werecario from the first page, I guess I really should go for the fun. The AP tests are over, and high school final exams are manageable; that's it, I am going. Finishing that team is another question...

Also, I can believe that the attendence for seniors will increase. Don't forget, the seniors are accepting kids born in 1997 now, so that means older sixth-graders could be swarming the area.

Created an account to say I'll be there, but don't count on me making much noise. First VGC, haven't made my team yet, and when I do it will probably be something odd.

Yeah, difinatley. From what I have read, I dont think that it will fill up, but it is still good to be early.
