HELLO EVERYONE! This has been approved by the TLs

While ru wcop is delayed by two weeks due to the tiebreak, we need some way to break the monotony of the wait and so had the incredibly original idea to do USA vs the world!! This will be very brief, this thread will act as the signups thread. If you'd like to also captain the world or the US, indicate in your post and I'll select two people to captain each team by Friday night. Signups will close by Sunday night and I'll post the week on Monday and give you guys a week to get your games done. How many games we have in the series will be dictated by the number of slots but it'll be an odd number so that this finishes by next Sunday in time for the actual ru wcop to recommence. I did not get the latter part approved but fuck it, whichever team wins will get a nice discord role on top.

I'm still deciding on the tiers depending on numbers of signups but we won't stick to only just the gens we have in wcop and would have some twists. The twists I'm thinking of would be like:

1. SV: a) RUBL freed
b) only B- rank mons and below on the PR
c) teraless SV
d) mono choice

2. SS: a) Dynamax allowed but only RU mons

3. SM: a) Staka freed

As I think of more shit and depending on signups I'll come up with a final list of tiers by Saturday so the captains can pick their lineup accordingly. If you have any ideas, put them in your signup or ping me in the RU cord.

Cool ideas for fun variations in tiers: AAA RU BUT you can only use abilities that start with the same first letter as the Pokemon; this allows some abilities that would have been banned originally, such as Magic Bounce and Parental Bond, to be not broken since you're forced to use suboptimal or lower-tiered mons. There's also less variance since you can much more reliably guess what ability each opposing mon may have.
