I built this team around M-Cross+Zyg core. M-Cross beats Ferro, Tang and Bulu, mons that are able to wall Zyg, while Zyg beats Pex and can pressure Fairy-types with strong CB-boosted attacks. Guts > Moxie on M-Cross to beat status spreaders like M-Sableye. Zyg runs CB set for sheer wallbreaking power, and ESpeed allows Zyg to act as a revenge killer and beat weakened faster threats. Although Zyg can heavily damage Fairy-types, this core still dislikes them. I added Heatran in my team. It walls many Fairy-types bar Fightinium Z variants of Lele and Magearna. Heatran also sets up rocks and improves my team's matchup against stall. My team is very slow, so I need some fast mons. I added Scarf Lando and Ash-Gren. Lando provides Defog and Speed control, as well as a Ground-type immunity and a second Volt Switch immunity. Stone Edge is for Zard-Y and Torn-T. Ash-Gren gives my team more special attacking power and speed, can put Spikes to chip opposing team and can act as a wallbreaker or late-game sweeper. Both Lando and Ash-Gren appreciate their checks like Tang, Bulu, Ferro and Pex(for Ash-Gren) being KOed by M-Cross or Zyg. Opposing Ash-Gren is able to fuck easily beat my team, so I need a switch-in for it. I added Tang in last slot. It checks Ash-Gren and other special attackers like Koko and provides another Ground-type resist. HP Ice is for opposing Lando and Zyg. Sludge Bomb is for Bulu.

This team is designed in Heracross. The main idea was to look for something solid and well covered among all. When I added Koko, it occurred to me to put Tran with Npower taking advantage of the terrain's shifts. Greninja with Spikes to press more to the contrary and with Specs more power. Latias hwish to give support and Landorus is my only Defog with speed control. Punishment seems useful to me instead of hp ice that I already have in Koko.

kinda made this with set up serp being the main thing in mind and everything else as just switchins to things that threaten it. weavile beats things like heatran, ferrothorn, and ttar while still being able to trap the latis, torn is there as a scizor switchin, zeraora felt like a nice glue on the team that handles things annoying stuff like pex, celesteela, av bulu, clefable and the like, tangrowth and chansey are just there as a defensive cushion so that you play around with less risk vs stuff like volcarona and sd kartana.

This is a squad I built a few days ago. It's based around the core of Serperior and M-Heracross which I thought was pretty cool because of how Serperior can paralyze Tornadus-T, and how M-Heracross can break through fat stuffs that annoy Serperior. I knew that, with that core, I would need a few things in order to make it work. I would need another solid way to break through Stall because Unaware Clefable (which is seen on the most common variant of Stall) can wall M-Heracross, a solid form of hazard-removing, as well as a solid defensive core that could take care of common offensive threats including M-Alakazam, M-Latios, M-Lopunny, Heatran and Tornadus-T. Heatran + Landorus-T were the two mons I chose next because this core gave me hazards control, a stallbreaker, a form of speed control, as well as some useful resistances. After that, I felt I was missing a Greninja check, a Fire-type check, as well as a M-Lopunny check which is why I chose Toxapex and made it Iapapa in order to not get overwhelmed by physical attackers. As my last slot, I chose Celesteela which completed my defensive core and gave me a solid check to M-Alakazam, as well as a bunch of other things.

This team has the tools to perform well in most matchups but there are still threats that are going to annoy this team a lot. M-Medicham, M-Mawile and Zygarde are some examples of pokemons this team doesn't match-up well against. Hope you like the team!

Built this team around Serp+M-Medi core. Serp provides Speed control in form of Glare, helping M-Medi to beat faster threats, notably Torn-T, which is main M-Medi answer on many teams. This core is frail and struggles against faster Fire-types and Psyspam, so I added Heatran. It also sets up rocks, further improves my stall matchup and can punch some holes in the opposing team with strong Magma Storms or Z-move. I need Ash-Gren answer, as Sepr, although Grass-type, is frail and has some problems with it after transformation, if Ash-Gren isn't paralyzed. Next mon is Bulu. It can wallbreak with SD, weakens EQ for Heatran and forms a Grass spam core with Serp. Protect gives a free turn of recovery. Next step is hazard control. Torn-T is Defogger of choice. It's great pivot and consistent Defogger with Regenerator, Rocky Helmet allows to chip certain physical attackers. Heat Wave is for M-Mawile. My team lacks a Ground-type atm, so last mon in this team is SubProtect Zyg. With DD, it acts as a wincon for my team. It appreciates Grassy Terrain recovery to setup Subs more often.

Egor it has recently come to my attention that you’ve posted teams that aren’t fully of your ownership in this thread. If the information I have is correct, then, both on this round and Mega Medicham’s round, your team was actually a rate from curiosity on PS!. Please refrain from passing rates as your own as it is quite unfair with the rater, ask them beforehand if you can use their rate or at the very least credit them in your post. No consequences this time around but don’t do this again.

Offensive team that rotates in Serperior. The main idea was to create a typical core formed by a grass / water and fire type. These are ZardX and Primarina. The first covers practically everything thanks to the double type of its mega. You can enter free in many things like Volcarona / Tran or in case of Primarina in Zapdos / RotomW / Mmanectric or Koko. Landorust puts pressure with SR and his offensive set Fly Z comes in handy here to eliminate those annoying Growth or Venusaur that are threats from Koko. On the other hand this eliminates everything that is Skarm or the core Steela / Pex. although I have Gravity Eq. Tornadust pivot Defog was almost the only viable option to be able to eliminate pressure from my side.

This team (obviously) revolves around the Regenerator core of Slowbro and Tangrowth, which check a large majority of the metagame. Slowbro was originally Calm Mind, but after playing around with it more I really didn't like it considering just how much Tapu Koko, Ash-Greninja, Serperior etc. there's on ladder right now, so I went with Thunder Wave instead which also provides crucial Speed control. Sludge Bomb and Focus Blast are options over Hidden Power and Earthquake respectively. Celesteela checks Pokemon such as Mega Alakazam, Tapu Lele, Mega Pinsir, and Mega Latios. Garchomp was originally Gliscor, for its ability to check Heatran and Mega Mawile, however I found the team to be way too slow with Gliscor, so I decided to go with Garchomp instead, which provides a crucial Speed tier and can also pivot into Heatran once or twice. I added Tornadus-T because it's just really solid glue. Lastly, I added Mega Mawile for its good matchup against fat teams.

I wanted to make some stall. Obviously Bro is my first mon and main physical wall. It runs Slack Off+3 attacks set to reduce its passivity. Then I immediately put stall staple, Chansey, in my team. It's my main special wall. Chansey completely walls many special attackers, while Bro takes physical hits for Chansey. Chansey also sets rocks up. One of regular Bro's advantages over its Mega forme is opportunity to run another Mega. I chose M-Sab. It forms a classic stall core with Chansey and provides some hazard control with Magic Bounce. I found my team weak to certain Grass-types like Bulu and Kart. Defog is also helpful, as I can't successfully control hazards only with Bounce. Ground immunity is also great. My next mon is Moltres. It's a great mixed wall, compresses aforementioned roles well and stalls out PPs with Pressure. I need an Unaware wall to stop setup sweepers and a Ground to prevent opponent from easily obtaining momentum with Volt Switch on my team. Quagsire greatly compresses these roles. It is also able to switch on non-Zgrass Heatrans, though Zgrass variants aren't popular rn. On my last slot I chose Ferro. It's my another mixed wall and an additional check to the likes of Koko and Ash-Gren. Ferro also completes a Fire-Water-Grass core with Moltres and Quagsire and does great chip damage with the combination of Iron Barbs, Rocky Helmet, Leech Seed, and Spikes.
Yeah I know this team is far from good but I've tried

This is a volturn style team based on Slowbro where the main idea is to press with uturn or voltswitch and keep an advantage over the opponent. Hydreigon covers threats such as Manectric or Growth. The hole in the mega is occupied by Mawile, who is my favorite. Thunder Punch to take advantage that I take Koko by Sucker. Zone Z seemed the best option since it can do more than eliminate Scizor or Ferro with Sub. LandorusT is the complete mon it does not matter how you use it always meets. Here is simply his defensive set with SR. Maybe it's risky to take Defog is Koko but I like the structure.

Decided to go all in with describing the teambuilding process for some reason.

Slowbro is definitely an interesting and, honestly, underexplored pick in OU. Facing extreme competition with the many broken water types in the tier, it carves a niche by checking a ton of absurdly strong physical attackers and a surprising array of special/mixed attackers too, while being hard to wear down thanks to regenerator + slack off.

I started building this team by finding a complimentary partner to start off a Slowbro core, and Hydreigon quickly comes to mind. Checking Heatran and Ash Greninja which Slowbro might struggle with while resisting every type weakness that Slowbro has except bug (and Slowbro resists most of Hydreigon's weaknesses too) makes the two of them very synergistic. Slowbro's thunder wave also synergizes well with Hydreigon's dark pulse, allowing for a potential paraflinch plan to fish for if the situation arises.

Slowbro + Hydreigon is a pretty nice start, but they're both weak to u-turn and a grass/fighting combo that Bulu tends to carry. Mega Mawile fits amazingly here, completing a fairy/dragon/steel core, darkspam core, while quad resisting u-turn and also providing a way to bust through Bulu quickly. Mawile is one of the best abusers of para spread, destroying anything slower than it with monstrous offensive prowess.

The team still lacked a defogger as well as a defensive switch-in for grassy Kartana/Bulu threats, as well as a defensive answer for scarf u-turn. Bulky Torn-T works so well here especially with a rocky helmet, punishing brainless scarf lando hard by wearing them down at no cost for an SD Mawile sweep. It can pivot to bring in Mawile or Hydreigon and also forms a regenerator core with Slowbro which is more a side-result if anything, but still a neat synergy.

Still no rocker and I had a solid physdef wall in Slowbro, so I could afford to run an offensive Lando-T. Smack down earth plate keeps em up vs Skarm + Sab, Zapdos/Moltres teams, opposing Torn-T, and provides really powerful offensive pressure vs stuff like Clef and Ferro. This was going to be scarf at first, but having a second balance/stall breaker is so needed to pair alongside Mawile, especially when Lando can lure the few answers to Mawile in and punish or eliminate them. Also completes a momentum core with Torn-T.

The team's first 5 really struggled with Pinsir, Lele, and Zard Y. Scarf Heatran is an obscure set now for the most part, but it provides a bunch of resistances the team needs while also giving a surprise revenge killer for the previously mentioned threats. It also helps with the Koko and Modest Alakazam matchups, which can be an issue if the Koko packs dazzling gleam.

Slowbro. So I really wasnt looking forward to building some stall team where you're just running Slowbro over like Pyukumuku, or Toxapex, or Quagsire. It's Rocky Helmet because U-turn is a disgusting move. Slowbro's main thing over Toxapex is its ability to take on Landorus-T and Zygarde, and I felt like if the team doesn't care about those anyway then I might as well not have Slowbro...which is why I didn't want to add a Tangrowth to the build, Regenerator core be damned. With this in mind, I went on to add Serperior and Mega Heracross as a way to pressure stall, and because Serperior can act as an offensive check to Ash-Gren and Tapu Koko, while Mega Heracross beats Kartana. Blacephalon rounds off a FWG core as well as a second check to SD Kart. Blacephalon was chosen partly due to its vulnerability to Pursuit, which gives a free switch-in to Mega Heracross or Serperior to come in to set up. Team was slow af so it had to be Scarf. Lando-T and Magearna were the only possible choices for last 2 slots. That's it.
