Juuno ran away with it at the end, Congratulations!

Going with Quagsire here, Ground/Water types took a hit when Gliscor rose because it allowed Mega Manectric to run HP Grass more often. However this does not mean Quagsire is bad, it is still very useful on stall for it's ability Unaware and good defensive typing. Being 4x weak to grass and having very poor SpDef means there're a lot of options for lures, gl lads and lasses.

LURES ARE DUE BY WEDNESDAY 11:59 PM GMT -7

Screech Alolan Marowak

Marowak-Alola @ Thick Club
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Shadow Bone
- Flare Blitz
- Screech
- Bonemerang

When talking about slow wallbreakers that are often forced out after wasting a turn to set up a Swords Dance, I feel that Screech is criminally underlooked and useful to punish pivots.
85% accuracy is high enough to risk a miss because you are able to use a quite powerful effect in return. Now, you have the possibility to switch-out without wasting your set-up move in order to help a teammate to get past an opposing threat. Now you are able to force switch-outs more often and this is helpful if you have hazard setters in your team.
In particular, Screech is perfect towards Unaware users, which now have a decreased Def stat: Alolan Marowak is fast enough to outspeed Quagsire and bulky enough to stomach one hit without dying.

252+ Atk Thick Club Marowak-Alola Shadow Bone vs. -2 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire: 352-415 (89.3 - 105.3%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Thick Club Marowak-Alola Shadow Bone vs. -2 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire: 352-415 (89.3 - 105.3%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Thick Club Marowak-Alola Shadow Bone vs. -2 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire: 352-415 (89.3 - 105.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO after 1 layer of Spikes and Leftovers recovery

With a little prior damage the OHKO is ensured.

Scizor @ Liechi Berry
Ability: Technician
EVs: 176 HP / 252 Atk / 80 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Natural Gift
- Superpower

So here we have Liechi Natural Gift Scizor. Quagsire has been infamous as an SD Scizor hard-stop on stall teams, slowing it to a crawl and ensuring it will never break the team with Quagsire's omnipresence. Or can it? With Natural Gift, Turning Liechi berry into a 100 BP grass move, Scizor can give Quagsire a nasty surprise on it's switch, either crippling it to the point that a light breeze could finish the job, or even outright KOing it.
252+ Atk Liechi Berry Scizor Natural Gift (100 BP Grass) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire: 384-456 (97.4 - 115.7%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery
The spread even has a lot of customization options. A wise man told me "A good UU player never reveals their Scizor spreads." And honestly you can go where you want with the investments on this set as long as you retain the Quag killing max attack adamant. I personally went with outspeeding min-speed Seismitoad on this spread since this is essentially a grass move Scizor but it really doesn't matter at all, and you're free go go faster OR bulkier.
SD lets Scizor bait in Quag even harder by threatening to break otherwise with the SD, and lets Sciz still do it's usual SD + BP thing against other matchups.
I hope you like the set!

Cobalion @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Flash Cannon
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power Grass

Quag switches into coba often since coba requires a boost to get its kills often. HP Grass hits quags hard when they may be expecting an iron head.

Magneton @ Electrium Z
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Flash Cannon

Quag is almost exclusivly seen in stall builds. Mag comes in on Alomomola and clicks a free VoltSwitch. If he goes Bliss, u gained momentum. If he chooses Quag, u can a) predict the immediate double switch and also switching, while conditioning the player into thinking U are scarf/specs or b) just click HP Gras. Either way.... at some point or another you'll kill the Quag 4 sure.

Metagross @ Expert Belt
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 248 Atk / 44 SpA / 216 Spe
Naughty / Serious Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Earthquake / Bullet Punch / Pursuit / Stealth Rock / something else idk

Speed reaches 230 which creeps Scizor. 44 SpA EVs guarantee the OHKO on Quagsire w/o rocks and Scizor after rocks, investing more into SpA is an option bc alo still doesn't take much from gk, as well as do more to swampert. The rest of the EVs are dumped into Atk to increase Meteor Mash's power. I'm not sure if the attack boost from Naughty secures any important KOs, if not then Serious can seriously be considered as a viable option as it doesn't drop defenses.

44 SpA Expert Belt Metagross Grass Knot (80 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Quagsire: 394-466 (100 - 118.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

44 SpA Expert Belt Metagross Grass Knot (80 BP) vs. 240 HP / 16 SpD Swampert: 298-355 (74.3 - 88.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

44 SpA Expert Belt Metagross Grass Knot (120 BP) vs. 252 HP / 176 SpD Hippowdon: 218-259 (51.9 - 61.6%) -- 96.9% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

44 SpA Expert Belt Metagross Hidden Power Fire vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Scizor: 250-298 (88.9 - 106%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock (31.3% without)

44 SpA Expert Belt Metagross Grass Knot (100 BP) vs. 252 HP / 24 SpD Slowbro-Mega: 204-240 (51.7 - 60.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Infernape @ Life Orb / Grassium Z
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 168 Atk / 88 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Close Combat
- Flare Blitz / Overheat
- Grass Knot
- Gunk Shot

Infernape is great in that it can run a plethora of sets, including this one. Most of the moves are physical, which would be an interesting thing, but not immediately worrying. Quagsire, for the most part, could wall a physical Infernape and remove it when sufficiently weakened. Ergo, this set exists. Being mix-up intensive, the EVs allow a guaranteed OHKO on Quagsire, gives you a nice 2HKO chance on Suicune after rocks, and basically chunks typical answers to Physical Ape like Jellicent, Faeries, Hippodown, 2HKO'ing the former, OHKO's Primarina with Gunk Shot, and more. It basically takes typical stall teams and breaks them in half.

Z-Grass can be used to really give Alomomola hell, but it's not any way of OHKO and Life Orb provides more power in general.

Barbaracle @ Rockium Z
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Liquidation
- Stone Edge
- Shell Smash
- Grass Knot

so barbaracle is a monstrous sweeper cuz smash
252 252 cuz sweep
gknot gets a tough claws boost and does 65 to quag
z-edge kills alo after rocks + any water resists (dragons/grasses)
pre much kills everything except scarf lati, empo, kommoo, + some other picks like doub, ches, maggron
