Just to confirm - this won’t take effect mid week right? As in, if a VR update happens Thursday 20 min before your fight and invalidates your team you don’t have to suck it up and can still fight - or do you have to make a new team right away or ACT loss.
no it will not take effect mid week. if there were a situation where hilo let us know there was a huge slate update on a Monday or something we might make an exception and give a heads up at the start of the week that it'll be based on those Monday stats, but outside of something like that it wouldn't happen in the middle of the week.

With heatwaves across the world, finding Pokemon that can summon rain on a budget is all the more difficult. To reflect this shift in supply and demand, we've decided to price two mons differently than their current VR standings.
-> $20
-> $10
Additionally, there's two new entrants to the UU metagame -- while we wait for the VR team to officially rank them, we've assigned the following provisional values using our best judgement.
-> $7
-> $10
Flavor text aside, avarice and I decided that this was the simplest way to account for the fact that -- after the significant shifts a few days ago, rain teams as a whole are generally undervalued in the viability rankings. Rather than adjust the price of every single rain mon up or down by a dollar or two and try and hypothesize the effects of Pelipper dropping / Scizor leaving on the relative viability of unranked mons like Kabutops, we decided to raise the prices of the rain setters instead.
Deadline for games is Sunday, July 11th at 11:59 P.M. GMT -4.
Extensions will be granted only if necessary from both parties.
If you can not play this tournament, please drop out to give space to one of the subs.

As a final note, please make sure to include replays in your winpost. We need the replays to determine how much money you've spent and to verify your win.
